Awesome place to stop by on your way from Jasper to Banff or vice versa. During the visit, we hiked from the bottom of the falls to the top in about 5-10 minutes without much of an issue. Reaching the top gives an awesome view of the mountain range in front of you and cools you down in the summer. Would highly recommend stopping and spending some time over here!

❣ this is a great place on the Banff Jasper Highway which I highly recommend to drive in the summer and you stay off after November. The Falls freeze in the winter and it is tricky because of traffic but still a great View. Try the Athabasca Falls if you do take Banff Jasper Highway.

A very great tourist attraction on the way to Athabasca falls from Skywalk. There is a small parking lot available just opposite to the falls. Great picturseque place with beautiful fall in the background.. you can even climb the rocks (one of my family member did).

A quick stop to explore these falls, got to see a couple roping up to climb a slab to the south of the falls. Totally worth the stop. Parking by the toilets is not the best, better to park in large paved parking a few meters north of bathrooms. You could totally take a shower under these falls.

It is often easy to miss though coz you are either travelling down a mountain in Highway 93 and have no time to stop or travelling up at a good speed and miss it for the same reason. It is just beside the road so just watch out for traffic when you cross the road to get a better look.

This is a great stop along the icefields parkway. Google maps had no problem finding it and it is just beyond the Discovery Center if heading north. What makes this such a great stop is that this is literally on the side of the road. Parking is located on the opposite side with a decent amount of stalls available and there is a cross walk to get there. PLEASE be careful when crossing and walking along the side of the road. The shoulders aren't very wide and there can be lots of fast moving traffic.

Well my visit here was quick. The falls were just so beautiful. They had a parking spot right in front so that was great and convenient. Furthermore I saw people climbing next to the falls so that would be a great experience. It was not a formed trail but something that was used by people to make way to the top. So yeah a great view right next to the skywalk. As skywalk was the main center of attraction around the region disregarding all the lakes that comes along.

Nice little look out point on the drive from Banff to Jasper. Do be careful crossing the highway to take the picture of the falls as they are on the opposite side of the highway from the parking area. This is not a picnic spot but more of a look out. You can hike if you so desire in this area. If you are driving from Banff to Jasper it's worth the few extra minutes to stop and enjoy the falls

Don't miss this if you are passing by Icefield visitor centre. When driving towards jasper , once you pass Colombia icefields discovery centre, its 5-7 minutes drive. Just after passing the skywalk entrance, you will immediately see the falls just after a turn. Its easy to miss and also on a downhill slope so drive slowly in this area. From base of the fall, you can climb couple rocks and go all the way near to the falls to experience the mist. Once you atop here, you will always do.

These falls are right next to the road, and if you aren't paying attention you may drive right past them. That would be a shame because they are beautiful as you can see from the pictures. a quick rush across the road from the parking area and you're standing in front if this wonderful glacial waterfall. crystall clear cool water. if you've got the will a short climb up the rocks takes you to around half way up and you can feel the spray of the water as you stand before the highest visible fall. if you're goi g to the Columbia Icefield, it's just an extra 5 mins drive further along the road to Jasper. well worth the effort

Another great place of many along the super scenic highway 93 Icefields Parkway in Jasper National Park. Just stop the car at the small parking lot along the road and carefully cross the highway right to the falls. We were there over Canada Day weekend, and it wasn't crowded although that was later in the day. There's a washroom at the parking lot and designated disabled parking spots. You can climb up on the rocks, being careful, as my photo shows.

What a beautiful sight it was, right by the highway. This wasn’t something that was included in out iteinary, but it was a stop worth having ????. You dont have to trek to this waterfall, park your car on the other side of the road and walk right to it. The higher you climb, greater the chances of getting cooler photos. This small water fall on the side of the road on the way to the glacier turned out to be the most fun part of that day for me it turns out you can quite easily climb up on top of the water fall by going up a hill to the left and climbing up some rocks which reveals another waterfall which is arguably more beautiful than the original water fall, I had so much fun discovering this secret fall and honestly would go out of my way to come here again.

Easily accessible waterfall. Literally right off the side of the road. It is so close that both cars and pedestrians need to take care. There are small pull off areas to park. Take care when driving through the area. Cars tend to slow down and gawk and people will run out in front of cars without looking. Pictures can be difficult since many people try to climb up the falls. You may have a wait to get unobstructed views.

A beautiful waterfall on the road and on the drive by, you can't miss it unless you're sleeping. Stop by, shoot a photo, fill up a bottle with that fresh cold water. For me a must stop every time I drive by. There's nothing like climbing the rocks of this majestic waterfall and breathing in the moisture of that falling ice water.

If you blink, then you'll miss this place as you're driving on the icefields parkway. That would be a mistake. Despite not being the most popular attraction, this waterfall is worth a visit. You can climb to the top and stand *in* the waterfall - a unique experience!

Very beautiful and easy to find waterfalls on the east side of highway 93. Totally worth a stop. If you’re careful, you can climb around the sides of falls. It’s steep and the trail can be wet and potentially dangerous. If you do decide to walk around, please be careful.

Wonderful view. Very steep grade to park on. Make sure your parking brake is on. I was pulling a 21 foot trailer and just by chance there was one spot to park. There could never be more parking because the road winds thru a peak on the west side and a drop off to the fall on the east side but not much parking for a motorhome or truck hauling a trailer. Very cramped site. They do have toilets and a fair amount of small vehicle parking north west of the falls across the highway. You have to cross a busy highway to get to the falls and dont assume holidayers will stop for you.

This is a very small waterfall just by the side of Hwy 93, Alberta. If you are driving on the Icefields Parkway - make it a point to stop here to soak in the views of gigantic mountain peaks and of course the waterfall.

Nice set of falls right beside the road. Note there is a set of falls below the parking lot as well. There is a nice hike up to Wilcox Pass starting just south of the falls. While the 7.5km hike is 3.5km longer than from the Wilcox Campground the hike avoids the crowds and is more picturesque.

Jasper's Drive By Waterfall We found Tangle Creek Falls on the way back from Jasper right on the Icefields Parkway, four-miles north of the Icefields Center. It can be easy to miss especially if the traffic is heavy, but it's worth stopping in the pull-outs to see it up close. Tangle Falls is a braided falls, dropping 114-feet in several braids, consolidating, and then dropping again over three tiers of 14-feet, 18-feet, and 13-feet, before dropping under the Parkway by culvert. It's a popular falls in a congested area. Be alert for people on the roadway.

If you're heading north in hiway 93 these falls sneak up on you as you descend down the mountain side. Get ready to make a quick left across the road into the parking area. Once there you cross the road again to the base of the falls, from there you have the choice to observe from the bottom or hike up the side - its an easy hike for anyone without mobility restrictions. The falls are beautiful and provide a great backdrop for pictures - a must see!

We only drove by as you can see the falls from the road and you need to park on the other side of the road and then cross the road in order to get to the falls. If you slow down you can get a nice view of the falls and keep going to the more impressive falls further on.
