We bought a car here in the last year and have to say that the experience was very good. Before 10 thinking we would be swarmed by salespeople trying to be pushy lupus into a car as quickly as possible. This was not the case. We walked in and we were greeted, but we are left alone on to browse the cars and they checked in with us every so often. Once we are ready investigate the cars are closer, we had a salesperson help us and winter place test drive and didn't really care for that car, so I like that. The salesperson was very knowledgeable about the car not only about key features of the Interior, but also was able to get some questions by husband had about the engine about the maintenance and about the war interior components of the car. I felt very comfortable with the whole process. I would highly recommend going to the dealership because they know what they're doing oh, they're very nice, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all. we did our research before going in oh, so we do what the price should be around and what are treated was valued at. Which pretty much matched up with what they offered us, so we feel like we got a fair deal.

Thank You for saving me from making the biggest mistake in my life to Lease a Car from Toronto Hyundai. Well, it is to bad after waiting 6 Month for the Kona Ev, I can't have the Car. Wesly and Vince worked so hard on sending email after email for 6 Month only to come up with this great lease price of $ 1050 per month for this low-interest rate off 5,5% with only a $ 5000 payment as security Interest free for Hyundai dealer. I guess this is truly a car for the Rich and famous, today I got the Notice in the mail from Hyundai Finance in BIG LETTERS DECLINED. I don't have enough money to drive this high-end luxury car. Well, I need to thank you, Heather and Michael, in the Finance department to use my Accounting resource at a charge of $ 300 by my Account to provide detailed financial statements. And last I should thank you for the owner of the Dealership for his great Management skills and how wonderful he runs his business leasing cars. It has been the most enlightening experience of my life to deal with all these wonderful people. I took my car in for warranty work on Saturday Feb. 23 and all was good with checking in, they told me about an hour to do the work but took easily over 2 hours. Then I got my car back and noticed the driver side Air dam was scratched deeply, I should have said something but Frankly I was tired of wasting my Saturday at the dealership, this was not there the day before as I had washed the car and touched up the opposite side which had a similar scratch that I had done myself . Anyways make sure that u check your car thoughrly before giving your keys and have mutual inspection with the rep. I believe they used to do this before . Toronto Hyundai thank you for contacting me after this review and asking for all my info. so you could contact me , well your service manager has not yet contacted me, therefore I will be ending this relationship and I will move all my ervice calls to somewhere else where I'm appreciated . As result I have reduced your rating to one Star . Regards

Gave in my vehicle to get it looked at for a cylinder 4 misfire. Waited 2 weeks and have called them numerous times to get an update but receptionist continously told me my service advisor will call me back. Never within those 2 weeks did he give me a call or tried to contact me. 3rd week comes and I call back and ask for a status update and informed them they had told me many times they will call me back and never did finally Got a hold of my service advisor and he finally tells me that the part is on backorder until the end of the month and told me there is a possible loaner car I can use in the meantime coming Monday or Tuesday.. It's coming into the 4th week of waiting now and I have not heard back about the loaner. I just emailed my service advisor because he told me to email him instead and no response. I've been out of a vehicle for a month and not receiving updates is the worst service.

We are very pleased with the service we received from Vince D’Elia at Toronto Hyundai. We had decided we wanted to purchase a new Ioniq Ultimate and Vince offered the price we were looking for. The vehicle was being phased out for 2022 and was in very short supply. Vince was very proactive in locating and ordering a vehicle with the trim level we wanted and kept us informed on the transport of the vehicle from overseas. We were thrilled to take delivery of the vehicle a month after ordering. We had a lot of detailed questions and Vince always responded quickly and guided us seamlessly through the purchase. When time came to pick up the vehicle, Vince gave us a ride from the subway, went through the paperwork quickly and efficiently, and spent as much time as we needed going over our new vehicle’s features. I was highly confused about buying a new or second hand car and also about the brand that I should consider , but I however made up my mind for Hyundai and got to know abt Toronto Hyundai dealership after checking dealer rater site to get the best dealership for Hyundai . The next day , I stepped in 2460 Dufferin Street store after my work and I got the service exactly as I was expecting and was able to seal the deal within 2 hours right from start to end and had my car ready for delivery within 2 days. I was very worried about buying my first car. There are so many things that you need you know and ask form your dealer before you finalize the deal. Toronto Hyundai is the best place to buy a car. We had a test drive booked for 7pm. Walked through the lot and the sales associate just looked at us. Walked into the showroom and about four people looked at us and not one greeting. This dealership is obviously racist. Glad we found out before they took our money. We waited 10 minutes then called Gyro Hyundai across town and Ram had the keys to a Palisade waiting for us when we arrived. So much for that Jamaican flag this lot has flying out front.

I made an appointment in this branch for a recall I had on my car and also to get a quote on my back up camera which was unserviceable. The service desk tells me itll take about an hour and most likely I need a new camera. I came back in about 40 minutes and I was informed that it was all done, just needed car wash after one another customer so another 15 minutes. I saw my car getting parked outside soon after and thought it was all done but the guy who helped me disappeared and I waited another 40 minutes thinking he should be back any time soon to explain the recall and to give me the quotes on the back up camera but never did. So I finally asked another service desk that my car has been sitting there for 40 minutes and nobody called me. He explained to me that it took that long to get the quote on back up camera.. when I saw him taking work order from the other service desk which probably has been sitting there all along. The quote I got was simply the part and labour. It would have been better if they were at least honest about the situation. I have better things to do then wait around for nothing and also my car was not even washed since I could see the glass roof had dust on it. I dont recommend this place at all unless you have nothing better to do.

Called to book a service appointment for my Elantra because my engine light came on, was told it would be 2+ weeks before someone would even look at my vehicle. After calling 2 more Hyundai dealerships and being told similar 2-3 week service appointment openings and explaining my situation, that my car was acting funny and I was uncomfortable continuing to drive it- I ended up calling a small independent mechanic. Although this mechanic was also booked up and didn't have any open appointments for 2 weeks or later as well, he offered for me to come in immediately to at least read the error code from the engine light warning. He actually helped me same day and seemed to care about my well-being. Although I love my Elantra and have never had issues, I was surprised how little the dealership cared. Why wouldn't you offer to read the error code or at least offer me the option of calling me if there were any cancellations? I don't think the service desk could have expressed less interest or cared less, so I feel compelled to leave this negative review.

very good experience with sales people here and also finance department, which helped me get my new Tuscon. would definitely recommend this dealership minus two stars however for the process after purchasing the vehicle - had to wait for three weeks for delivery, which is fine if I was properly updated along the way and didn't have to call every five days to find out what's happening. to make thinks worse when I picked up the car and went home I got a call that they gave me the wrong car and I need to return it immediately which I did and upon arrival and was greeted not with an apology but instead with a question how many kilometers the car had now (I live only 4km away) I guess I would recommend a customer service class for Daniel for his lack of communication with me after the sale and his ridiculous question about the mileage upon my return with the wrong car. I would also recommend a reminder for the personnel which provides keys to clients to remember that they only had one job and they failed.

Had my 2020 Hyundai Tucson for two weeks now. The experience from walking into the dealership was amazing. Ricko was a great sale associate. He worked very hard to keep me within budget and I am very happy with the car. If you ever go to Toronto Hyundai ask for Ricko! He was very patient and really made me feel at ease in the whole process! When I picked up the car, Ricko ensured everything was settle before I came in. And he made sure before everything was good before I drove off. Not only is Ricko such a hard worker, but the support the team gives to each other is great! They are such a great team and it was a very pleasant experience. The owner Benny is such a happy positive person. If you ever need to go to a Hyundai dealership, I definitely recommend this dealership!

I have been servicing my new hyundai in this particular location for last 3 years. Like all dealer service centres, sometimes they suggest services which are optional. I usually dont get these additional services until today when service rep suggested two additional services as "recommended" without disclosing the price tags. I thought okay, i will consider them since they are recommended by "Hyundai". I left vehicle for servicing at scheduled time at 10:20AM. I was told it will take roughly hour and half which is very normal. When i returned after hour and half i was shocked to see my vehicle parked exactly at the same spot i left it and no servicing was done! When i asked service rep at the counter, he went inside and spoke to service staff and i told me that my vehicle will be done servicing very soon. So, i decided to wait inside. I was waiting patiently for another hour at the service waiting area. At that point i lost my patience and decided to speak to service manager. She had this blank look in her eyes and was looking for a quite spot to speak with me, which is far from other customers. Then she started with excuses along the line... sometimes serving vehicles need additional maintenance and etc hence backlogs get built up, which is the reason for delay. She will try to give me some discounts for my servicing. I said i was not looking for discount, i just wanted to get my vehicle serviced on time so that i can get back to my work! Things get worse after that. Service rep came back to me and was suggesting that i need to change break pads for both of my rear wheels. I asked how much it will cost me and how long will it take? He said additional $400; $400 for break pads replacement and $400 worth of "recommended" services total bill of $900. I was like, wow! I came here for simple Hyundai service #1 which is around $100 and tire swap but now i was told i need $800 worth of service!!?? Thats ridiculous. Service rep told me that break pads replacement will take additional hour or so but they can give me a rental vehicle so i can get back to work right away and come back for my vehicle later. I said okay, lets do that. I need to get back to work right away. I could not wait there any longer after already waiting for 3 hours! After 5 minutes service rep came back to me and was saying 'sorry' there is no rental vehicle that he could find for me. He could call me an Uber. Thats when i decided that enough is enough! I requested to get my vehicle back from servicing right away and did not want to get the overpriced, critical break pad replacement. I just had enough with their greedy service staffs who just want you to buy services and pile up vehicles in service centre but cannot keep their promises of getting vehicle serviced on time. I do not recommend this service centre at all, they used to be good but not anymore. If you are a new Hyundai owner, try different dealer for your servicing. You do not need to get your service done from same dealer where you buy your vehicle from. You can get service done at any authorized Hyundai dealership. Dont waste your valuable time or money on unnecessary services.

Amazing customer service from Vince, Patrick and Michael. Vince was the first person I spoke to via email, and he was friendly, professional, and prompt. When I finally arrived at the dealership he immediately met me and took me to see Patrick. Patrick is one of the nicest gentlemen I have ever met. He didn't treat me like a customer, he treated me like I was a family member. He took incredible care of me and answered all the questions I had. I went in there with my girlfriend in hopes to lease a car. When we told them what car we wanted, they said "we don't have it in inventory and we have to bring it from out of province". This means they wanted to charge me for a transfer fee. They were really pushy, making it seem that if I don't get the car it will be sold out forever. Every time I asked them why, the sales rep would "go ask his manager" 20 minutes later he came back with the answer: now or never. This happened like 3 times. I left because I was really uncomfortable. After we left we called Agincourt Hyundai across town. When we got there they had full stock and weren't pushy. When we told them what Hyundai Toronto did, they were shocked by their aggressive sales tactics. I don't want to put the blame on the sales rep, but on the Manager of Toronto Hyundai. I saw him in his office and got a real sketchy vide from him. If you want a Hyundai go to another dealership.

Friendly service in a modern and clean building. Free coffee and WiFi in service waiting area which is attached to showroom. Service fees are a little higher than my personal mechanic, but comparable to other Hyundai dealerships. Service staff are very customer service centered and actually explain issues and what is done in detail which is refreshing.

I took my car to the dealer for a rattle under the car. Was told it was the stabilizers at the back. $300. Still rattling. Took it back. Told it needed two shocks. Gave me 10% off because it wasn't the stabilizers in the first place. $800 more. Took it back again. Went for a drive with the Service Manager. Rolled down my window and said "Hear that?" Oh, now he hears it. He told he he had taken it for a drive before. Said he probably didn't hear it because he didn't roll the window down! Put it on the hoist. Yup. Bolt was loose on the heat shield. Replaced for nothing. Most expensive bolt I have ever bought. Worst mechanics ever! Been going here for 9 years and they have been going through managers like water through a sieve lately. Not a good sign. Buyer beware. Update...three days later and no call from Customer Service Rep. No surprise there. The same day, I emailed the owner again and got a call from the Customer Service Rep, who really knows how to do her job. It was a real pleasure to see there are people who understand what customer loyalty means. I am getting a total refund for the unnecessary work done. This will keep me coming back...with a watchful eye, I may add...but I am finally satisfied with how Sera handled the situation that no one else was willing to do. This dealer knows customer service, period! I would like to take this opportunity to express how truly thankful I am of my experience with Toronto Hyundai, especially Tomaj Shahinjou your Technical Service Manager. I am currently the owner of two Hyundai’s however in recent years, my 2011 Hyundai Sonata started to show signs of trouble. I reached out to multiple dealers but no one was even willing to listen as it was a sold vehicle and too much work to go through the warranty process. This left such a foul taste in my mouth that I actually decided to leave the brand completely upon my next refresh of both vehicles. As you can see, I am in the service industry and control the sales and marketing aspect fo the business however I am well aware it is not the sales process that wins loyalty, it is the service that comes after. Tomaj Shahinjou is an excellent example of what service should be. He was 100% honest and respectful from day one. He delivered what he promised and everything was explained until there was a full understanding of the entire process. No over promises and no with holding information. He made the whole process easy therefore allowing me to continue with my daily activities without feeling the impact of the car in the shop. I am happy to report that after a very long time of battling over this issue, Tomaj was able to address the issues with my vehicle in a responsible amount of time. More importantly, he won back my faith in Hyundai. The Genesis G70 is looking like a promising option for my next vehicle refresh based on the service I can expect under Tomaj’s team. I want to express my gratitude as I am in the service industry and team members like this are very hard to find. Thank you once again.

Trying to get ahold of someone in the service department is next to impossible. The general VM says they will call u back at the end of business day, but that’s the furthest thing from the truth. Then when they find the issue that needs to be fixed, good luck trying to get it fixed, especially if ur vehicle is still under warranty. You would think after 3 months, the dealership would have gotten a response from Hyundai Canada, let alone a response from the service rep to keep you updated. Have another appointment booked for some other issues now, and let’s see if the service changes at all…

Went there eager to purchase a 2021 Santa Fe - had 2 requirements, sun roof and leather - when we went to pick up the jeep it did not have a sun roof or leather interior. This was due to the sales rep not listening to our needs and trying to rush through the sale. We spoke to the manager and he assured us that they had the exact one we were looking for onsite and they will flip financing and they would send us the bill of sales the next day. When we followed up the next day, they had sold the jeep and were now looking for another one! There was no ownership for their mistakes. We decided to go to another Hyundai out in Pickering. The experience was night and day. The service was incredible and the sales rep out did himself. they were able to provide us exactly what we asked for and then some! Wish we had gone to them first and saved the aggravation!

I bought a used Hyundai from this place. It was a pretty standard dealership deal but because it wasn't my first used car purchase ever I was able to negotiate some aspects of it. I m not going to go into details but do your home work if you want to borrow money for your purchase. You'd be surprised about different sources of financing. One thing stands out though - they did a fantastic job on car cleaning and detailing.

I recently visited Toronto Hyundai for a service call for my 2018 Hyundai Elantra. I was greeted with a beautiful and warm welcome by the Service Manager, Sera - she was absolutely fantastic. She cared about my cars service call, made me feel confident that everything would be ok, and was a great example of excellent customer service - from beginning to end. Usually I do not like going into dealerships but when the service is as exceptional as Sera’s, you’ll feel confident choosing to go into the dealship.

I booked a test drive for a manual transmission Elantra Sport, and when I showed up to the dealership, I was kept waiting, then told that the standard transmission one was sold a few days earlier, and then I was asked if I would be interested in trying the automatic. Now, I recognize it's better for them to sell cars, then test drive them, but I booked the morning off to travel to this dealership, and an e-mail offering to re-schedule a test drive would have saved me the trip and the time. In one way they did me a favor; they let me know that I should head back to the Honda dealership where I might get better customer service. I can only imagine the service I would receive AFTER I gave them all my money. Ouch!

So my 2012 santa fe had 3 recalls, booked an appointment for 9:00am. Brought it in for 9 on the dot, was told it would be 2-3 hours. Didn't see anyone work on it until about 11am. Customer service wasn't great, I sat in front of the agents and no one, not once gave me an update or apologized for the long wait until I went up to the desk to ask for an update after 3 hours. I was comfortable and at ease from the moment I walked in to the moment I drove off the lot a few days later. Mr Arnold Cabalza was very helpful in making this happen; very knowledgable in the vehicles and plans available, very organized with my information, and prompt in returning my calls and e-mails. Buying this car was actually a pleasant experience; which can't always be said when purchasing a vehicle. I never felt rushed or pressured. This was also the first time I've ever had the owner of a dealership make time to come greet me and give me a bit of the dealership's story; Mr Benjamin Leung did so, which I appreciated greatly. Lastly, I appreciate them going the extra mile to get my new car to me when I needed it, even though it required a little administrative magic. I had an awful experience dealing with the staff of the dealership both during and post pickup. I leased an Elantra for 2 years and renewed by leasing another Elantra for an additional few years. When picking up the vehicle the dealership presented me with 3 versions of my contract where all 3 had different payment amounts and they were insisting on me signing this. It took nearly an hour for the rep to get the sign off from the manager to adjust the amounts, all the while I had to simply sit around. They also weren't able to continue using my payment information from the first lease. Instead of trying to correct their own process for this, they ended up threatening to call the police and report the vehicle stolen unless I provide the same exact payment info as they had before and failed to reuse. Although both issues got resolved, the customer service in this location was very poor.

I am very much disappointed with their service due to their carefree service. After service was done on April 10 and car engine automatically TURNED OFF on city road luckily while I was driving. I got it towed and dropped the car on April 30. I explained my situation and requested to help me fix the car ASAP. They couldn’t fix instead they charged me $700cad. My last option was to go to private garage to and they did great job for another $750cad!! Over the years, I have bought 3 cars from Toronto Hyundai and have used them for all the maintenance and service too. I have always felt that I have been treated very fairly and honestly with all my dealings with them. When purchasing cars, I was never pressured into any extras. All options were clearly explained but no high pressure sales tactics were used. I have found the service to department to be very honest and have never felt that any unnecessary repairs were recommended. I've always been pleased with all aspects of my dealings with Toronto Hyundai. Since this first review, I have had 2 more cars from Toronto Hyundai. I have always had great and honest service from Toronto Hyundai. I have bought all of my cars (5) from Toronto Hyundai. Friendly staff, honest sales people, no pressure with service people or sales people. I have never felt that I have been talked into a repair or service that I didn't need. I was once just a couple of weeks passed the warranty and they honoured it any was because "You have been a good customer". When I asked about new tires, they inspected the vehicle and told me they were not needed and that I could easily get another year from them. Love my Kona. It's been the favourite of all the cars I've had. (Elantra, Accent, Accent, Tucson, Kona.)

We have been customer at this location for the past 6 years, bought 2 cars and did every oil change and every maintanance at the dealer shop. Even bought the winter tires, rust protection there too. 6 years later, we are moving out of the province and went to sell the car back to the dealer and got treated very badly. They wont even buy the car back at its remaining value. I paid 600 to fix the problem, paid one more payment and they told me to pay lean charge on the car. I had to actually fight to get that waved. Sales person Joseph very incapable of communication and the finance manager told me my car value is very low because of the rust on the roof. I dont think that is my fault. Its how its made poorly and unreliable. Resale value is exptremly low. I strongly advise aginst purchasing any hyundai vehicle at all. I know im never buying it again.

I went to the dealership because they had a Tucson which we really liked and they added additional charges without explaining and quote marked additional fees which came up to $4000. The lady who we first spoke to initially was INCREDIBLY rude and condecending Helen Clubene. It was discusting. She told us we would have to wait when we said we weren't ready to buy today. We brushed off her nastiness and proceeded to wait. Then 10 minutes later other people walked in without an appointment and she served them right away. Went in for my car's FIRST service. On the bill it showed its all filled the fluids and they also lubricated all hinges and latches. Literally nothing done on the car. The engine oil was half way wind shield wiper fluid just the same as I gave them. Brake fluid and coolant were max when i drove it in. None of the hinges or latches were lubricated.

Service is an area for improvement. For a simple oil change I have to make 3 to 4 phone calls to get a human being and they are always booking 5 to 6 days later. When I arrive for my appointment I am waiting for more than an hour. If I drive into Dean Myers for an oil change I am taken right a way and they apologize that it will take longer because they have to order the parts. I am out in under an hour with all the same things being done including a car wash..l

Today I took my 2016 Tucson in for its 3rd service. This was a 2 hour appointment and I went out for a walk. This was just a routine top up the fluids etc but while I was out walking I received a phone call suggesting that I have an alignment done. I asked if it needed it and the girl said no but it was just preventative. She also mentioned a that they could take the rotors and brakes off the car and inspect them for rust. The car only has 27000 gentle km Both of these items are a scam. Something to value add the service they were supposed to do. I am not saying that every dealership does not do the same but I wish they wouldn't. I can say no but there are probably more vulnerable people who may feel pressured at these suggestions I think I will try somewhere else for my next service

25/06/2019 at 10:am I visit Hundia Toronto today morning to sell my Hyundia Sonata 2009 and Finance Hyundia Sanata 2013 and . the first thing when i arrived i adked the girl in the front deck about one of their seller anf she asked me to wait until he come to front deck , i wait for a while after that the other lady in the front deck come to help and i told her that i am asjing for one of their seller calld Jack anf she told me he is off today , that is the first thing after that the set me whit another selker and it was a very bad experience whut him , to be honest i don't know how they hire people like this , this guy is not even able to sell himself not selling the Service . any ways it was very bad experience not just for the amount he offer me for my car but how he deal with me as customer , he makes me fell like i come to ask him for chang not coming to benefit this business . he didn't even offer me to have a set i came there to selling my car and buy another car from this center .but after dealing with this guy i will never even think to visit this Location again . . i just want to shared my experience with you so the people in charge should watch out those seller and trained them well and teache them how to respect the customers and deal with them in better way.

I used to go to the Hyundai dealership on the Queensway but their service was horrible. So I came to this dealership on Dufferin St. Looking for a better client experience. I had a simple oil change done and a head light adjustment. I was told it would take 1 hour and 30 minutes and that I’d get a call when it’s done. I left and came back exactly 1 hour and 30 minutes later only to see my car in the parking lot. I went in and asked how long it had been ready for and the service advisor said he didn’t know. He said the original service advisor that I was dealing with went out on a test drive or something. There was a huge pile on his desk of orders and keys just laying there. I won’t be coming back here again.

My wife and I set an appointment to test drive a Palisade this past week. The appointment was for 1000, and we arrived early. We were told that the sales rep (Vince) was in a meeting, and we waited. Vince arrived about on time, told us that he would provide us a car for the test drive, and took us out to the side lot. Our understanding on booking the appointment was that every vehicle is sanitized prior to a test drive. (Interesting fact: there are no references to COVID or the pandemic anywhere on the main page of the site that I could see. Is it cancelled?) Vince took us out to the car, told us to take it for as long as we wanted, then returned inside. We got in and the pictures tell the story. The car was DIRTY inside and out. Low points included food crumbs on the seats and carpet... Smears on the steering wheel and media screen... And, dirt on the console and doors. My wife and I looked at each other and considered going back inside to ask for another car; but, decided that we just wanted to get a sense for the car - and, so - let it go. That was our mistake. It was all we could talk about on the drive. We ended the ride so upset that later in the day, we couldn't even remember if the vehicle was equipped with leather seats - we had to look back at the pictures to be sure. On returning, Vince asked how the test drive went. I was stone cold honest: the Pallisade may have been fine; but, the experience was so awful that it didn't matter. He said 'sorry about that' and asked if we wanted to talk about purchase options. At the end of the day, we weren't valued as future owners at Toronto Hyundai - why even talk about buying? I told him no, thank you. Sadly, it was clear to us that we weren't needed or wanted as future Hyundai owners - at least not here. This is unfortunate, as we met the owner during our last vehicle search, and he came across as a solid person; an impression that definitely weighed on our choosing this dealership to return to contemplate our next vehicle choice. In summary: 1) It felt like no one could be bothered to clean a car for a scheduled test drive for us, let alone check it in advance to make sure it is ready for an appointment. 2) When we said we were dissatisfied, Vince was mildly apologetic. But, we didn't get the sense that he really cared given the follow up to talk about buying. It would have made total sense for him to call us back and APPOLOGIZE for the experience. Offer another test drive? Even if he couldn't salvage our interest - he could have at least taken the stain off what happened. Toronto Hyundai - not sure if you're going to read this. But, if you do, I hope you take our feedback to heart to improve your customer experience.

Not a great experience for service. Had an appointment scheduled for 1:30pm and arrived on schedule. Car wasn't even taken in until 2:30pm. Once the service was complete, no attempts were made to come out to get me so I ended waiting until 5pm when they already completed the assessment at 420pm. I'm still waiting for a call back 2 weeks now and it's quite a struggle to get a hold of anyone.

From Best to Worst. While my car was under warranty, Hyundai staff and service we're impeccable. I enjoyed coming in and being able to work in the guest lobby while I waited for my vehicle. Staff were always friendly, offered sound advice and helped me out during Christmas with a 10% off service offering. My warranty had recently ended and I went in for a basic oil change and serpentine belt change. I barley made it 2 blocks away from the dealership when my car started to sound like I was driving a tin can. I heard sparks, grinding, rubbing and a smacking sound. The serpentine belt broke and wrapped around several parts under the hood. When I called Hyundai, I was first asked if I could provide a tow back to the dealership. Why would I pay for the tow? Hyundai eventually arranged for a tow and once they had my car, I was promised a call with an update by a specific time. That never happened. When I called for an update the person who promised it had left for the day so I escalated to the manager who also promised an update by a certain time and low and behold, that never came. When I followed up the next day, the Manager I had originally escalated to met me with a defensive attitude and suggested that the serpentine belt break may not have been Hyundai's fault. I too work in customer service and sometimes have to deal with tough customers. I am not a tough customer. I simply wanted Hyundai to take ownership and meet the expectations they were setting (calling when they said they would, do what they said they would do). I was extremely disappointed each time Hyundai made a promise and failed to follow through. The defensive attitude and suggestive shared thoughts from the Manager that Hyundai may not take ownership of this issue was appalling to me. How could the Manager speculate what the issue was or who was responsible before a throughout investigation and review? Hyundai ended up replacing the serpentine belt, blamed it on the supplier and chalked it up to a defective belt. Did I mention that they had the same tech who installed the belt - determine that it wasn't an installation error? The Hyundai Service Rep who was 'managing' the situation promised an engine shampoo since antifreeze had exploded all over my engine due to the belt breaking. Think they did that? No, another hit and miss on my expectations. I spoke to the Service Rep at the front counter who was managing this situation and told her how disappointed I was with this service and lack of meeting the expectations that they set for me. When she handed over my keys, I noticed a chunk of plastic was missing out of my key fob. The Service Rep immediately started with 'well, you gave your keys to the tow truck driver so who's to say who did that.." I expressed how I previously advertised the great service at this location and that I'm extremely disappointed in how this was handled - especially the attitude from the Service Manager. I told her that I'm really considering not coming back to this location and they may lose a customer that potentially could've been a lifetime customer. I gave Hyundai the opportunity to save me as a customer. I chose not to quietly walk away and go somewhere else. I chose to speak up and give Hyundai the opportunity to keep me as a customer. Part of me wanted to remain a customer and not chalk up one bad experience against the previous great experiences. The rep who had been handling this situation all along responded to me with this: "I'm sorry, it just seems to be a comedy of errors, I'm so sorry. I hope you have a good weekend." I was standing at the front counter with keys in my hand, Hyundai had a moment to save a good customer and chose not to. Not once during the entire situation did anyone at Hyundai ask what I needed or what they could do for me. I was met with missed expectations, defense, lack of ownership and an irritable Service Manager who had more attitude than I did when I was a teenager. I am no longer a customer at Toronto Hyundai

Horrible customer service. Just called this Hyundai because our Kona has a recall. They hold us they would need our car for the entire day and would not offer a replacement vehicle, but said they would rent one out to us. Called the Aurora dealership, we were told the recall fix would take 30 minutes and offered us a complimentary oil change for the inconvenience. Guess which dealership location will continue to have my business.

I had booked my oil changed appointment and was told to come back in an hour. I decided to stay there and wait. I saw the technician taking my vehicle for servicing after an hour. Still I waited patiently thinking they might be busy but one more hour after he took the car in and still nothing. Now I didn't had more patience so went to the reception and told her that it's been two hours and still I haven't received my vehicle. She tells me it's done and just washing is left and now she gives the paper which she printed when she took my keys to a guy and tells me to wait outside and he will see me outside( I am very positive that she forgot and left it with her all the time). Less then 2 minutes the guy came outside( I believe just poured some water on the car!) and handed over me the keys. Seriously just for oil change two more then 2 hours? I remember when I bought the car I was indirectly told to go to a dealership near my house. Now it make sense. They are interested only in selling the vehicle not providing the service after it.

Went in for regular oil change service last Thursday. They did their regular car "wash". Got my vehicle back dirtier than how I brought it in... and with many fine sratches all over it. Didn't get to speak to anyone until today...who told me they would review the shop cameras and get back to me. Same person I spoke to over the phone also told me they ONLY use soft cloths and sponges to wash the vehicles.... nobody called me back after 5 hours so decided to go in person today to speak to someone and show them what happened. An employee (who didn't introduce himself) came out to look at it, after much discussion agreed to "fix" the scratches by having their own detailer buff them out. Why would I trust their people so "fix" the issue. The same employee who came out to look at the vehicle said they wash 50+ vehicles everyday and have never had this issue... maybe people don't notice it but I surely did on my newly coated vehicle. Maybe if one employee wasn't rushing to wash so many vehicles, they could take their time and do it properly. I have a clear protective coating on my vehicle, as to why the picture shows so glossy and difficult to see the fine scratches but you can clearly see the dirt! Thats AFTER their so called car wash... Poor customer service at this location. Clearly lied to. Will not be returning to this location for service again and wouldn't recommend anyone else to either. ** to your reply** Nice way to try and cover yourself ???? after in person I was even told its plastic...

I have had problems with the power steering in my 2009 Genesis not working. I had brought my Genesis to Toronto Hyundai 2 times previously but they could not find anything wrong. About two hours after I left Toronto Hyundai, being advised they could find nothing wrong, my power steering failed again. I had the car towed to Toronto Hyundai and Peter Luis looked after my car. He along with the Service Manager James were very helpful, courteous and responsive. The mechanic was able to duplicate the problem with my power steering and fixed it. Bought a Kona 2020 just 10 days ago, not even drove for 160km and the car started shaking and losing power, it showed the ‘check engine lamp’ on the dashboard. After running a quick check (code P0302), they said they will have to replace the ignition coils, however Hyundai service refuses to give me a new car, and they said that even if I get new car they can’t warranty it will work at its 100%. Guys, would you get a Hyundai vehicle that even Hyundai managers can’t warranty it will function correctly?

I booked 1:30 p.m appointment for first oil change a week ago. Went in today. Left my key, was told it is gonna take about an hour and 15 minutes. After sitting around nearly 2 hours, no one came for an update so I asked the front desk staff whether the work is done. And I was told that they haven't started working on my car yet since there were no technicians available. Surprise isn't it? If there are no available technicians, what is the whole point of booking an appointment? Front desk staff also told me that their supervisor will be out shortly and talk to me regarding this. I waited another 10 more minutes and no one showed up. I went back to front desk and requested for my car key and told them I will get the job done somewhere else. Unexpected things might happen and slow you down but leaving your customer for good 2 hours without any explanation? Is this what I should expect as a customer service? The worst part of all is that until the moment I leave the service center, there were no proper explanation nor apologies given. Worst experience ever and thank you so much for ruining my day.

Went looking for a used Santa Fe XL.. did a test drive.. check engine light is on.. clunking noise over bumps... Salesperson looks at me and says "huh? Oh that's normal..." .. then I challenge him and ask how normal is it to take a prospective buyer out in a car with a check engine light on?...he grunted. terrible dealership with clearly nothing but profit margin guiding their service levels.

I saw a car on AutoTrader that I liked and called York Lee answered and asked me to drop by and take the car for test drive wich I did. I liked the car we talked price and we agreed on a price in less than two minutes, then I was sent to sales manager Eduardo Guiao and I was done in five minutes. The whole experience took probably less than 25 minutes. I buy a new car almost every two years and have been through al least 15 cars but this was by far one of the best experience. The fact that Eduardo didn't try to pushing any extra warranty or other cover was appreciated . Absolutely would buy a car in future from this location Overall a great experience I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone.

Worst experience in service. I would have given 0 star if that was an option. Dropped my car over on Thursday and no one called with an update. I called them for an update on Monday afternoon around 12 receptionist kept me on hold for 10 mins and asked for my contact info and told that I’ll get a call in sometime. I tried called back after an hour coz I didn’t get any callback. This happened twice. Finally got an hold of a service advisor around 3:20 and he sounded really rude. When I asked what going on with the car, he said no idea they are still checking. He cannot give a rough estimate of time as well. When I told him that I initially called around 12 and I was told thrice that they will call me back and nobody called me back, got a rude reply back. According to the service advisor they will start inspecting my car in evening. What???? Still no call in the evening, waited till 7. Worst ever experience. I recommend everyone, not to choose this place. There many good places to get your car serviced. This is want happens when you give your car for some warranty work. They won’t prioritize it, infact customer has to follow up after 4 days that’s what’s going on with his car. No courtesy of updating customer and being rude to the customer coz he called for an update.

EDIT: Your service manager already contacted me, and he DID NOT provide a direct solution to this specific matter. Very dishonest staff in Service, stay away from this place I am absolutely disgusted at how dishonest Tim was with me. I brought it in the car for service required at 19k kilometers or 18 months, and he scammed me by getting me to do the service required at 24k or 24 months! He clearly knew which service was due, because he asked me for the mileage of the car (currently at 19k) so far, so instead of giving me an honest and sincere answer along the lines of "Mr. Salazar, your car is due for it's third service, which is the same as service #1", he just processed to do service #3, which is the car's FOURTH service. This goes to tell you how they are ready to scam you the moment they see an opportunity. This cost me over $200 dollars! When I told him about the confusion he told me "There is not much we can do because you signed for this when you dropped off your vehicle". I was offered a mere discount that still kept the bill at over $200. I would have stayed to speak with the manager in service, but I had stepped out of work to go get my vehicle and needed to get back as soon as possible. Just stay away from the service department. I cannot speak for any experiences with sales, but I can tell you that service is just out to scam you or up-sale you in shady ways. While I was waiting to pick up my car, I heard about 3 phone calls to customers saying how " ...your car's battery is low in amps, would you like to replace it?" You can see how it's what they are programmed to do and push for, but sticking a new customer with a $200 bill which was for totally unnecessary service? Total scam move. Will never step foot into this dealership again.

I had a terrible experience with Toronto Hyundai, after coming to an agreement with one of their Sales reps and sales Manager, we failed to finalize the deal that was promised. They wanted to charge me more for what was already agreed upon. Their Director of sales refused to give me the deal that I was promised and placed blame on his staff for offering me the deal. He insisted in showing me internal numbers in order to make me understand why he could not give me the vehicle for the price that I was offered, internal numbers should not be my concern as a customer. What is my concern as a customer is to expect what I was promised. Not only was this a complete waste of time for my wife and I, but I also turned down other offers from other dealerships as I was assured this was a done deal, which I have in writing to prove. This experience leaves a sour taste in my mouth with the Hyundai brand. I would avoid this dealership, as they are unprofessional.

I don't usually post reviews but this one deserves it. I've never felt so disrespect. This is the only place where same car has 3 different prices depending on the stage of your negotiation. I went there in May to get a sense of price for a new car. The first quote was very attractive. I discussed it with my wife and we decided to go back to the dealership 2 days later and buy the car. However, the second quote was completely different and the sales person could not explain why. They tried to blame the computer but we knew something had been messed up. After further discussion, we arrived to a price that even though wasn't the same, it was acceptable. Great, we thought. We have a deal. Let's wait for the car to arrive. Almost 4 months later, it was there. Beautiful. We had arranged insurance and spent time doing all the paper work to get things ready for picking up the car. Finally, we went there to sign the final agreement. We left our jobs earlier. When we got there to sign the docs, they said that now the price was different. Even higher now. So I went home to get the sheet that had the price that we had agreed on and guess what, they could no explain the changes but tried to force it by saying that it was still a good deal. Long story short, we did not accept the price and cancelled the deal. If you ever go to this place, which I DO NOT RECOMMEND, be aware of such price changes. I don't even want to go to this dealership for any maintenance. In the end, I went to Mississauga Hyundai the next day, got better price, better customer service and explanation about the process and finally got a deal.

The front desk staff were very patient despite me expressing reservations about some of the mechanic's extensive findings (fairly long list of fixes after coming in for a simple Level 3 Service). They allayed my concerns by suggesting the mechanic take me in back to actually show me the defects. The mechanic then took time to carefully show exactly what was wrong and also explain why the past Streetsville Hyundai staff measurements may have been in error (brake pad thickness varied diagonally, also very corroded around the area). Streetsville Hyundai's sudden change in ownership and staff (2020) had eroded my confidence in the chain, but this Toronto-Dufferin branch has restored it. This will be my sole Service Location going forward.

We were updated with all information regarding the vehicles we were choosing and never felt like we were just being sold a vehicle. Our new to us low mileage 2nd hand 2016 Hyundai Tuscon needed its 27,000 km service. I choose this dealership based on location. It was close to my work. First impressions are a overcrowded run down dealership. (don't judge a book by its cover !) But both the car service and the service I received was well above ordinary. I was well looked after with a drop off and pick up at work and my car got a hose down as well as its service. We where very happy with everything . Very please we chose this dealership

The Toyota didn't approved me and I got back to York. He ensured me he would got me approved. Working together with Edgar, they got me approved with the lowest rate. I just couldn't believe it! I'm getting my new Elantra today, I'm really happy with my purchase. I should have bought the car with York at the first day I went there.

Check engine light appeared on my well maintained and low km 2012 Hyundai Sonata (bought as new, single owner). Did my homework by reading the OBD error code and researching the code online. There are literally dozens and dozens of posts linking this error code to a mass North American Hyundai recall related to a potential engine fire / engine knock sensor / sensor harness. Reasonably expected this be fixed under the above mass recall warranty. Right off the bat in my initial call to book an appointment with Toronto Hyundai I had to argue with their staff about my eligibility for this issue to be repaired under ANY recall warranty. Then I was also informed that I MUST pay diagnostic fee in any case, AND, as all my past recalls were already completed, they see "no reason" not to FULLY charge me for the repair ... This poor experience concluded my dealings with this "highly praised" dealership. Next I called another dealership, much closer to my home location, but one which does not advertise itslef as the "No. 1 Hyundai dealership in Ontario" (which I also got fooled by - see above), and could not be happier. They immediately acknowledged this is a familiar issue which IS related to a mass recall and informed me immediately that I will be taken care of promptly and at no charge to me whatsoever. I was booked for service on the morning after. All was completed within 2 hours, $0 charge, they even Ubered me on their expense two ways to my home. I really expected better from the "No. 1 Hyundai dealership in Ontario" .

took my car in today and had the pleasure of dealing with domenic varas, i had to make an emergency stop (as i was visiting from montreal) and i experienced a tapping noise from one of my wheels, it was my first time visiting here and i talked to young domenic and explained the situation, he said no problem im am a little bit busy today, but i can definetly assist you. Domenic inspected car and found a nail in the tire causing the ticking noise. domenic repaired the tire for me, and also noticed my brakes where low, he was able to replace my brakes for me and give me a great deal on the repair. MY car feels even better than it did before leaving home, as a woman dealing with car repair can be intimdiating, but domenic made me feel right at home and treated me with respect and care. Terrible experience - wish I could give 1 star.. Went into the location to inquire about some cars. Test drove a few and my partner and I were really interested in one specific car. The person we were dealing with was kind and not pressuring at the time of us being there. We went to follow up with him a couple of days later and he informed us that the car has been sold. We understood that and decided to keep looking. 1 week and a half later we decided to check for more cars and noticed the same car that has been "sold" was still there. I decided to call and speak to a manager and Joseph picked up. He told me that the car has never actually been sold. I explained my frustration to him, and asked what kind of dealership turns away business? I sent him an email to give the benefit of the doubt... Joseph disregarded our questions in the email. It got to the point where we personally will no longer deal with this dealership as we should not be chasing the sales people to help us buy a car... which is their job.

I was at Hyundai at dufferin location last week to get my tire fixed. I am covered for the extension warranty so fortunately I do not need to pay anything. At first, they said that I needed to wait for 2 weeks for the replacement of my tire for them to be able to replace a new one - saying that its hard to find a type of tire. 2 weeks is long enough to wait and they said thats not even for sure! In my head, Anything can happen, I might get an accident while driving my Hyundai Tucson or worst. Now what I did, I called up another Hyundai location to see if they are telling the truth because 2 weeks to find a tire - is kinda fishy! The result of my investigation , they stated that as long as I pay prepaid amount of the tire I can get it by 1 day! 1 days not 2 weeks ! That information was surprising knowing that the dealership at Hyundai dufferin made a false statement giving me false information that it will take 2 weeks to replace a one tire. It was very upsetting for me and on that day I went to talk to the head of Hyundai and I give him a credit since he was the one who managed to fixed the replacement of my tire. The point of this matter is, why lie? I am a customer at hyundai , they should give me the right info so that every customer can trust their accountability the same way I trust their accountability.
