McNally's helped me with an overheating issue on my 2014 MB B250 in August 2018. Instead of making me replace the whole system, Charlie found a workaround that he'd applied to a previous CLA250 and 1 year later the car is still running strong! They could've taken the opportunity to ding me on costs/ jack-up the price (by replacing the system) but he only charged me one hour for labor. Honest, friendly, talented and collaborative mechanic! I've also brought the car back for a Brake job. Feel lucky to have found these guys!

Wow just wow.. first and foremost every review that were about the receptionist (and there are a lot on here) are absolutely 100% true! The tall receptionist with the glasses is the most rude unprofessional person I have ever dealt with in my life. Even after reading other bad reviews about the ppl who work there and the service they provide I still gave them a chance. Big mistake. I come in there to get a simple diagnostic check for my airbag sensor and right away just by looking at that receptionist you can tell she hates her job and dealing with that type of person is not what anyone wants to do. She then goes on to tell me that it will be $110 plus taxes just to hook it up to the cpu for 5 mins to tell me the problem we already know. I went on to tell them that is very strange and I have never in my life been to a mechanic that charges to see what a problem is. She came back at my trying to lie along with the other receptionist who also lied saying that all menchenics charge for that service. LIE. No mechanics charge you to see what the problem is. Mechanics charge you to fix an issue not charge to see what an issue is especially for 5 mins of work hooking up a cpu. If McNally or any other mechanic tells you this please know that they are LYING, an honest mechanic (not a cheap one or one who try’s to rip you off for every penny) will never charge you one cent to tell you what an issue is on your vehicle, payments come from fixing not from checking. The only reason why I even gave them a chance is because they are close to my work and instead of driving down to black creek and Weston to see my regular guy (who never charges for a diagnostic) I thought I would give them a try but I should have been smarter reading all the other reviews and this is why they only have a 3.8 rating and will be lower after this. I feel the only good reviews on here are coming from they’re family members and friends because I definitely feel that any normal person would never use this place let alone give good reviews! So after me dealing with these ppl directly not too mention all the bad reviews on here I will never in my life ever be going back to this place, anyone I know or I meet I will tell them to stay far far away from there and I will also be posting this on every social media outlet I have so I can reach as many ppl as I can to let them know about this horrible place. You just lost a customer for life
Worst place to ever get an oil change. Took 2 hours. Arbitrary business practices. They take your keys, don't even tell you how much their labour costs or what they're going to charge you, and when the jobs done, they place a bill in front of you and of course you have no choice to pay it. If it was more than an oil change I would've called the cops. Have you ever went to a place and agreed to their services without knowing the charge? I have. It's called McNally. $130 for 4 litres in a civic.

WARNING: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP Long story short. I brought my car in for a rattle issue during cold startup. Mcnally lied to me told me they fixed the problem. Charged me $1000 and now the engine rattles even louder. And later when i confronted Derek and Charlie with the problem they tried to brush me away. "we dont know what else the rattle can be, we worked on the car already the job is done" I was speechless. what does that even mean? I felt like being slappe across the face because I just got robbed of $1000 and the car was returned with a louder rattle. Funniest Part: They dont even want to take the car back for a second look because they said "we dont know what else it can be" *Does not reply any emails Now the cars is at Mercedes to see whats damages this shop have caused
The worst stuff I have ever dealt with , lady at the front has attitude , and the way the price their work is by the minute ,my car was ready 20 minutes ago and lady said you get charged when we are ready to cash you out ,what a joke , I was recommended by a friend of the owner ,will never take my car there
Great Service for a Pre-Purchase Inspection. Charlie, the owner, test drove the Mercedes E350 that I was considering to buy. Then he put it on the hoist to do a thorough under-body inspection. It's clear that he knew the car very well, knowing where to look. He explained everything to me and why he was checking it and what to look for. Then Andrew hooked it up to the engine diagnosis computer and checked out saved codes. They noted the tires were original ones and although the treads would pass certification, they were eight years old. Same for the battery. Very thorough and the charge was reasonable. For the cost of the purchase, having these folks inspect the car gives me confidence in my buying decision. Would definitely use them again should the occasion arises.

I am so impressed with this place, I don't even know where to start. Actually, I'll start by saying that a $150 pre-purchase inspection here saved me probably over $1,000. The mechanic, which happened to be the owner, looked over the car very carefully inside and out and underneath and found that the cars blind-spot sensors on the inside of the rear bumper were missing. I ended up being able to use that as a bargaining tool to have the used car dealer get and install parts before I bought the car. They seem to specialize in European cars, specifically Mercedes old and new. I am very impressed, and that's not easy to do. Found them by searching on Google based on highest rating.

Went there as a new customer based off a recommendation on a forum. My horn hadn't been working for a number of months and I also had a fairly bad oil leak. The car is a 1995 s320, and initially I felt nervous thinking they'd be too pricey or that they would specialize in newer cars, but upon entering the garage that impression changed. I saw everything in there from 1980's and earlier Mercedes to brand new BMW's and Audi's. And based on the service I received I can understand why. They are a little on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for, and they're great at what they do. While I'm more of a DIY guy myself and wouldn't go here prior to attempting a repair, if it's just something I can't do I'll definitely be visiting them again.

Mistakes were made but I gave them more chances, final straw that broke the camels back. Right side muffler came loose and needed to be fixed, one of the mechanics managed to drill through right into the battery. Gave me the car back even though you could smell the Acid, its like rotten eggs. I Had to confront the mechanic and after opening the trunk and seeing the smoking battery with acid bubbling out , Charlie personally came to investigate and they replaced the battery and did not charge me anything for the job , but the fact remains , I was given back a vehicle with a major issue and health risk. Trust gone and never went back.
I'll start off by saying Charlie and the guys at McNally Auto are pleasant and generally courteous people. That said, Ive really lost my trust and faith in their service. Since acquiring our second hand 2008 B200 Turbo we've continued to have it serviced at McNally as the previous owner and the multiple online auto forums gave me no cause to think otherwise. Generally the quality of the work has been fairly good, my main complaint is while they are cheaper than the "Stealerships", they still aren't exactly affordable. Factor in the fact you'll constantly be upsold and convinced you need repairs in addition to what you've come in for and things start to go south from there. The last straw for me was taking my car in for a scheduled servicing ($300 btw) and then being told that they'd discovered I needed a new CV Boot for the front right side. I agreed to the repair and said I'd bring the car back in 2 days once the part had arrived. The CV Boot is just a cover that goes over the drive axle and keeps dirt and such out. The part itself isn't expensive ($60) but the labor is. The front wheel drive shaft and steering linkages have to be disassembled to put the new boot on. So it's a 4 hour job to take the front end apart to put this stupid boot on. Again, I understand and expect this. What I cannot understand or except is that after ripping apart and re-assembling the front end is that Charlie can walk in and say that he notices that the alignment on my car is now off slightly and I need a separate alignment at $125 done in addition to the $490 I just paid to have a dumb rubber boot installed. WHAT?! You just pulled the front end apart and reassembled it, naturally the alignment is now off, why would you not re-align the front end as part of the CV Boot installation and just add it to the labor? It should have been included as part of the CV Boot installation! I decline the "small" alignment and get my wife on the case. She calls and speaks with Charlie who insists that it should have been explained up front that an alignment was going to be needed after the CV Boot installation was done (it wasn't). No settlement or compromises on the matter have been made since. As a result of this (and a few smaller incidents not worth going into detail about) we are now looking into a few new shops to work on our beloved Merc.

Very expensive
Very professional and honest garage specialized for Mercedes and BMW. I have a 2013 mercedes C250 Coupe and only serviced with the dealer before. The price tag at dealer for Service A and B are insane. So I found McNally and want to give it a try. The mechanics at McNally are very friendly and professional. I was so shocked they honestly told me not only what need but also what I don't need even when I asked them to do. Doesn't like other garages just promote you some unnecessary services. McNally actually give me confidence to own more mercedes in future.
Charlie (McNally) clearly knows what his doing and takes a personal interest in every job that goes through his rather large garage. I was referred to him by customers, and I’ve been very satisfied and comfortable with the work they performed on my, new to me, GT3.

Charlie McNally is the only reason to be NOT AFRAID of buying a used Mercedes-Benz thinking about the fact it's a very expensive toy to be trusting GENERAL MECHANIC in diagnosis for the direct problem with anything else but to be replacing. I personally have had spent a lot of money on trying to figure out what to get my 1999 CL500 w140 to run due to the electrical ECM module not communicating with the ignition switch and stuck in Anti-Theft lockout. After replacing a special order w140 ignition switch from Germany and the programmed key to be my last resort after I replaced and reprogrammed 2 ECM module ( main computer for the car brain) with no luck.... GUESS WHAT???? Charlie McNally looked at my original keyfob and noticed the fact it's been glued together - next thing I know the whole problem was just super glue in my keyfob interfere with the glowing ring on ignition switch that reads the key to unlock the Anti-Theft. Boy oh boy was I happy to finally get my Mercedes Sclass to run after nearly 1year of hearing from mechanics to be buying EXPENSIVE parts with no hope to assume that McNally shop is right next to my shop to meet and find a TRUE Mercedes specialist for the reason why I stand strong behind my review of 5star

A few days ago I had all hell braking lose on the 427 north and my 2003 E 500 told me to stop immediatly as I had no more brakes and the alternator was failing. I managed with great distress to get to MCNally and they took my car in immediately and 3 hours later I was back on the road with a new battery and a new alternator. Just another perfect service from Charlie's crew in the shop and Nicole in the office. I have given them my car for over 15 yeqars for all the services it rquired and I will only abandon them when I finally buy my next ELECTRIC car!!!! :)

Excellent and efficient. I have had nothing but wonderful service and experiences on my current and previously owned MB. The staff is knowledgeable and no nonsense. While reviews about non friendly staff float around, those are inaccurate. As for the charges, information is posted up front for your rates, and all quality service and dealers charge for their time and work. Charlie and his team are exceptional and they take pride in all their work. I have nothing but trust in their service and will continue to be a customer.

The people at McNally's are honest about what servicing really needs to be done - more so than the well-known independent Porsche repair shop I used to go to. And, they're less expensive in actually doing the work. I checked them out because I read a similar review online, and it was nice to see it confirmed. This is the first time I've used McNally, but with my Cayenne now off warranty, it won't be the last.
I have been going to Mc Nelly's for last 10 years and I always feel safe and happy what they do for my 3 cars with them whenever I have any kind of problems. I am a Benz guy and I have always serviced all of my Benz’s I owned so far directly from Mercedes dealership. You can never go wrong with Mercedes their services is top of the line, their customer service is 5star and they are honest and very reliable. And McNally Auto was able to match all of these good stuffs that I have just mentioned and everything that Mercedes has offered me all these years, for WAYYY cheaper price. Darek and Charlie took care of my car very well and Nicole the beautiful girl at the front desk has been very helpful and cooperative. I live in Montreal, and for several months I was on the lookout for a late-2000's Mercedes-Benz CLK 550, which is a fairly rare model. I spotted one online in Toronto which looked promising, but it was a long trip just to go look at a car. I found McNally Auto online, and asked the previous owner to bring the car there for a pre-purchase inspection. McNally provided a detailed electronic report with photos and comments, which gave me the confidence to commit to purchase the car unseen. It turned out the inspection was very accurate, and the car was in great condition, even beyond my expectations. Needless to say I am quite happy with the outcome.

The receiptionist girl was rude to me, when I asked for a quote, she told me"we can't say for sure, depends on your case, could be $200 could be $500". I didn't feel welcome, and I wasn't ready to leave my Benz on these terms. Other place took their time to explain what is the possible solution to my problem would be, told me approx amount of hours it would take and options. Don't know about the mechanics, might be really good, according to other reviews. But too late.
We have used McNally for 4 years and it has been the only place we have taken our B200 Turbo. They have very fair and honest pricing and now have a new system where they send you photos of the areas that need work. For example as compared to trusting them my break pads were worn out they took a photo with the report. I had a drained battery this fall and the CAA technician told me my battery was at 60%. When I had the car serviced at McNally they also tested the battery and sent me a photo of the battery at 61%. When they did the repairs they found a few additional issues on a rather large job. Mid-repair they contacted me suggested I replace the 2 bolts that were corroded and they would only charge for the parts not the additional labor.
Replaced brakes on an ML63 AMG. The price was good compared to dealer rates and service was excellent. I didn't feel pressured to get anything done that wasn't necessary. Best thing was that I made the appointment with very little notice and got the diagnostic and brake job done on same day and was on my way. ????
Charlie and the entire staff were great. The problem was rectified and most importantly Charlie informed us what the issues was and the next steps. Highly Recommended!
Sam was able to source a set of Michelin Pilot 4s’ for me that no one else seemed to have in stock in the size I needed. The shop was communicative throughout the time they had my car and answered all my questions. Friendly service would not hesitate to recommend.
I am not here to bash anyone but i will only share the facts based on what i have experienced. Last summer, my ac stoped working so i took my car to mcnally to figure out what's wrong. I wanted to avoid the dealer because they charge around $350 to diagnose. Keeping that in mind i was hoping the guys at mcnally will find out the issue within an hour of diagnosis ($120). However after one hour of waiting they said the issue couldn't be found so they needed more time. After two hours of diagnosis i was told that my ac compressor needed to be replaced. I was surprised that it took them two hours to figure out the compressor wasn't kicking in. Its one of the first thing that should have been checked. I ended up paying the $240 diagnosis fee that day without any fuss. Having done two oil changes from them previously, i thought might as well get them to replace my ac compressor. Turned out to be a great mistake. Around August, the ac compressor they ordered for me arrived and i dropped of my car in the morning. I was initially told its gonna take 4-5 hours to get it done. I get a phone call from them in the afternoon and i was told it will take another 3 to 4 hours to get the job done. I asked why is that and they told me they had to pull off bunch of parts like the radiator to reach the ac compressor. I agreed and they went ahead with the work. Next day i go to pick up my car. As i drove away i immediately realized my car was extremely sluggish. I press the gas and there's nothing. The acceleration from the 4.7 biturbo V8 was almost nonexistent. The car would pick up speed on kickdown but it happened gradually/slowly not instantly like it used to. I call them the next day and told them car is very sluggish. They told me to bring it in when i have time. It was a busy month for me so i had to wait few days to take my car in. I did drive it occasionally in those few days until one evening i noticed a leak in the engine bay from the front driver side. My car had less that 60,000 kms at the time and it seemed odd that it developed a leak right after mcnally worked on my car. I took my car in and charlie took a look. We went on a test drive and he did few kickdowns. The first one we heard a whinning sound (possibly from transmission) on kickdown. After few runs he confirmed that the car drove fine. When i said no it felt sluggish he said well its not an amg. He then lifted up the car and located and patched up the leak from the transmission oil cooler. He told me that yeah maybe its a part that just happened to fail. He told me to bring my car back if there's any issue. At this point i wasn't convinced anymore so the next day i took my car to mb midtown to diagnose the slow acceleration and leak. The mechanics in mb midtown were surprised to find damage on parts such as mounting brackets, radiator, ac condenser and lastly the transmission oil cooler all of which were located near the ac compressor. It was the damage to the transmission oil cooler which caused the leak and affected the acceleration. It became clear that the guys at mcnally damaged these parts when carrying out the job and i had to pay a big price for their sloppy work. I got my car fixed from mb and got a written report from the mb techs with pictures of the damages and forwarded it to charlie. He admitted that some parts got knocked by his guys when replacing the ac compressor. He agreed to pay some of the cost (less than half) but not all of it. He also told me that i should have brought my car back to him for the repairs instead of going to mb since mb is known for overcharging customers. From my perspective i was put into this position by his clueless mechanics. Why would i give them my car again when they caused few thousand dollars worth of damages in the first place. I lost trust in them because they never informed me about the damages. I had to go out of my way, cancel all my plans and spend few grand out of pocket to find and fix their mistakes. I am glad my instincts kicked in and i seeked second opinion from mb which saved my transmission.
Dealer level technicians and equipment with the service and pricing of an independent. Highly recommended. Great people, very trustworthy and excellent work. I am very happy and will definitely be returning. I have an older model Mercedes-Benz and it's hard to find people with the expertise and willingness to diagnose and fix these cars.

Brought my car for a pre sale inspection they broke my seat belt it was working perfectly fine was making noise but working and now it’s locked told them to do something about it the guy Sam in front desk said he can’t do anything clueless and Told me that the mechanic was the manager, The manager told me to figure it out at home and when I insisted They caused it they didn’t really want to do anything until I got mad and my girlfriend pressured them they wanted to take a look I just left because I don’t want these guys working on my car and they should have looked before bringing my car out as safety procedures!! Poor service and not a proper way to deal with customers, don’t let these young guys work on your car, took it to Bay auto zone mechanic shop right after and they opened it up right away had a look and had this to say he must of done a seat belt test and pulled it really hard and locked the seat belt system... very disappointing, how can you tell someone to pop it open at home it only has two screws at the bottom...

You know you are getting your vehicle serviced at the right place when they respond in the best possible way to their worst possible situation. I was worried when I had to return my vehicle for warranty work 3 months after a major repair. I knew that this would be the ultimate test of just how good/honest McNally Auto would be. They gave me a loaner car, quickly acknowledged the problem, and then proceeded to completely redo a $4,000 repair without complaint. Finally, when I picked the vehicle up, they threw in a 4 wheels balance that I had requested as the icing on the cake. Thank you, Aiden, Andy, Sam, and Nicole, … I will be a customer for life.

I was driving on the highway one day and something felt like it gave out on my car. Handled pretty horribly afterwards and didn't want to risk accumilating further damage. That's when I conducted a thorough search for a mechanic that I could trust completely with my car. Through reviews, I decided that McNally were the first ones I call. I explained the problem and had the car towed over there. Within hours I was sent a detailed diagnostic of the main issue with the car as well as things that needed maintainance. I gave them the go ahead to fix the car and they went above and beyond my expectations. They did things out of courtesy and made sure that the car was suitable for the road; a very high quality repair. My car runs perfectly. I wont hesitate to contact them again if anything were to go wrong on my car that is outside of my skill level. Thanks again!
My experience here is always a good one. The staff is always nice and helpful and are never pushy on doing things to your car unless it really needs to be done. The receptionists that work the front desk at Mcnally's are unprofessional!!!! They give the worst attitude, and are not nice at all. The mechanics are actually nice guys but those 2 birds at the front are terrible people. Should look into hiring new receptionists, such a bad experience.
We've taken all our vehicles here for years. Honda, BMW, Lexus. Always caring service, accommodating on time, never had to leave car for hours or days like with so many dealers for general fixes. Charlie will always recommend you go to dealer if he feels it is better handled there- esp under warranty. Amazing advice and they won't do work for the sake of making more off you.

Driving a Mercedes is a joyful experience until you have to take it in for repairs. If you own an outside of warranty Mercedes you need to have a repair shop that will do the work using bona fide parts at a reasonable cost since taking it into a dealership is a far more expensive option. I bought a 2013 Mercedes E350 Wagon three years ago and have been using McNally for all of my maintenance work. They are excellent...skilled Mercedes mechanics that will give you an honest appraisal of what work needs to be done.

I have been bringing my BMW's and Mercedes to McNally for close to 15 years. I find that they have been more knowledgeable, more reliable and less expensive than the dealers. They have risen above and beyond the norm by providing warranty service well outside the timeframe (a year later). They have always returned me an immaculately clean vehicle even including a now charge engine shampoo on one occasion. I don't take my vehicles anywhere else and I highly recommend them,
I met directly with a gentleman who appeared to be the owner/Manager. He personally took the time to explain what it may/may not be the problem, as I felt that my car was not driving smoothly. I explained that I have Extended warranty. He told me not to work as the problem may not be that serious. ....even though I have a Mercedes S450. They took the time to show as well as personally give me the print out of the diagnostic report done on my Mercedes S450. They even took me to meet the mechanic that was working on my car so he can further explain the readings as well as I was able to freely ask him any questions that I may have had. It turned out, that my Mercedes S450 only had a fuel mixture problem and that was included for FREE and fixed during my Diagnostic Cost? $110 !!!! That's it.... $110 !! You know, other mechanics would have definitely charged extra on top of the Diagnostic ! I was so impressed with their honest approach, that I asked to proceed with changing my Spark plugs as it was almost time to do so anyways. Would I used them again?? ABSOLUTELY!! This was my first time at McNally's and I was very impressed. Charlie and the folks there are super friendly and very transparent regarding what they are working on, where you need to spend money, and where you can save some. While I was there I witnessed several customers who came in who had obviously been coming there for years and were incredibly happy with the service they were receiving. My mechanic even managed to find a quick fix to an issue I've been having with my BMW without needing to order an expensive replacement part! I definitely recommend this garage for any Mercedes, BMW, Audi, or other European make!

Specialized Benz/BMW mechanics that know what their doing. They bill $ 125/hr for labour but its worth it (labour and parts warranty). Will usually be cheaper than the dealership for the same service/repair and the same (if not better) quality of work. Highly recommended.
Very knowledgeable staff
OK, nothing personal but facts only. My rear right door stopped opening by key. I found this company on Internet, came there for diagnostics and was impressed as everything was looking great. Big mistake. Huge. I paid over $100 for diagnostic and got the result on paper saying that door actuator must to be changed. Ok, I purchased new from Mercedes ($225) and replaced it. Guess what? Door is not working AND - because I did not put cover back - I was able to hear strange sound from door control unit. OK. I went to McNally again, they checked errors again and did not find ANY errors. I asked about door control unit, was told that yes, may be actuator damaged this unit as well. No problem, I purchased door control unit, tried it - everything is working good. Nice. I connected old actuator and ... EVERYTHING IS WORKING GOOD. It means two things for me: actuator was good from the beginning, and GOD KNOWS WHAT AND HOW PROBLEM WAS INITIALLY CHECKED as real issue was not found! Result of McNally works: spend $325 (new actuator and diagnostics fee) for nothing, spend a lot of time for nothing (waiting new parts etc.).

This is 100% the place to go for all things Mercedes Benz. Took my ML63 to this shop after they came highly recommended by my transmission guy to solve some TCU computer problems related rough shifting. I had been given an estimate for the required work by a local MB dealership and the cost was sickening to say the least. As soon as my car arrived Derrick & team knew exactly what was causing the problem and helped me solve the issue within a day or so (transmission gear adaptation/shift points). Given the work required, they didn't even charge me which is a far cry from my usual experience getting work done on my AMG! Needless to say I will be taking my car here going forward. If you live in Toronto you need to take your Mercedes here, AMG or otherwise.

I recently brought in my car for what I thought was an issue and after a long investigation it turned out to be something that doesn’t require any repairs. I went to Mcnally auto to have my 1991 Mercedes 600sel transmission serviced, it had a shifting issue that other shops could not fix. I talked with Charlie and he was extremely helpful in identifying the problem and ultimately fixing my transmission. Biggest plus of dealing with Mcnally is that they have a diverse source of OEM Mercedes parts that they can get there hands on in a short period of time. Car now runs great, Tranny shifts silky smooth. I would definitely recommend this shop.

They know how to fix German cars really well. MB dealer would keep my car for 3 to 4 days to diagnose the problem. McNally does it in less than an hour.

I have been dealing with McNally Auto ever since my Mercedes dealer charged me $900 for a Fluid change. They are professional and only use manufacturers parts. They do a very thorough analysis on my vehicle before quoting the repair cost. This has saved me $$$$. On my last oil change, they let me know that my brake pads were down to 5% sparing me the cost of damaging and replacing the rotors. Very happy with the service and have recommended them to my friends.

I wend there couple of days before Christmas. Sam patiently listened to my car problem and took the car in. They spend a day on the car and even got a used rear SAM to confirm if the issue was from the faulty expensive card. Aiden, called and politely explained the findings. This was a costly repair mainly because of the components from Mercedes. The main symptom was battery drain and got fixed by replacing the rear latch lock and rear SAM. Thank you guys for job well done . My car's electrical issue was not an easy problem to diagnose. I am glad I took it to McNally.
My brand new tires were done within 10,000km after taking it here for alignment. So i bought 4 new tires for my CLK350 at Simplytire, which is down the road. This place came in highly recommended by the tire shop. This was end of September 2018. I was assured by the mechanic that he did a 4 tire alignment on the vehicle. After driving the vehicle for roughly 10,000km the front tires still seem new and the back ones are completely bold. Mind you i never had problems with the back alignment to begin with. This is a complete rip off. Should have taken my car to the actual dealership like originally intended.
Went to get an oil change, waited double the time, charged with a large bill, and the next day I released the engine oil was leaking, so i took it back and they told me it was just a coincidence. So i took it to another mechanic and he found out that the oil filter was tighten to hard causing the seal to break. I am never going back there again! I recommend others not to go there as well.

I have a vintage 1991 300SE MB and 2013 SL63; have been talking taking my cars to McNally Auto for the last 20 years. Charlie is always capable of handling complex repairs with ease. Him and his technicians have decades of experience; they are honest, meticulous and hard to beat service charge makes me drive 70km one way to get to their shop. They once installed a new power steering pump on my 1991 MB and after a month there was a problem with the pump. They did not hesitate removing and replacing it under warranty and no charge for their service. I am very impressed with their work and I would recommend him to anyone who wants quality service on their vehicle. He simply goes out of his way to please his customers. Personal thanks to Charlie and his staff for all the good work they've been providing!

After taking a chance and buying a longtime dream, a 1979 MB, I have had nothing but a positive experience having McNally Autos bring it back to mechanical health and service it each spring. Friendly, reasonable pricing, and great follow up too. It is nice having the feeling that the car and I are not likely to be stuck soon at the side of the highway.
A long time customer of Mcnally auto I recently took in my Mercedes cls550 for routine service, upon picking up the vehicle I noticed a suspension malfunction on my dashboard and immediately took the vehicle back. Turned out to be a faulty air suspension compressor which i had replaced a few months earlier. They honored warranty on the part and replaced it free of charge, no questions asked. Always top notch service at McNally .

Owner is a nice guy and provides friendly service. I used to bring my car here to get it for regular service (ie: oil changes), and I assumed everything was fine since there were no issues. However on one of the cases when my car actually had an issue, they did not properly diagnose my car and cost me an unnecessary $1530! I drive a 2012 C63 and the check engine light came on for the secondary air system. Apparently it is rare for the secondary air pump to be broken on such a new car (I found that out after going to another mechanic), and I could hear it go on in the morning during a cold start. Unfortunately I did not do the proper research before getting them to replace the air pump, and went ahead with spending $1530 on replacing the air pump. 2 days later, the check engine light went back on which made me quite upset since I just spent $1530! I went to another mechanic and they showed me on the spot that the right side valve was broken and that there was carbon build up in the right intake. What McNally should have done was test the valves first and see if air was able to flow through the system before getting me to fix the most expensive part which was the secondary air pump. Now I have to spend additional money to fix the valve and get the intakes cleaned on top of the $1530 that I unnecessarily spent.
Arrived at McNally Auto after a string of bad experiences at other places. That was about 9 years ago and I have stayed with McNally ever since. They always answer my questions and take the time to explain what I do not understand. They always do what they say they will do. Any time they do not know the answer, or are not sure, they tell me and set my expectations accordingly. Their work is top notch and my 15 year old car, which is now my daughter's, continues to run well thanks to them.
I have two mercedes, my C63 and my wifes GL450. I have been going to McNally for a few years and feel I have finally found a mechanic that is reliable but most importantly honest and forthright with work that does, or does not need to be done. Especially with my wife's car which needs considerably more service than my C63. They have always helped me work through identifying issues, have me watch certain things and help me brainstorm to see if it is something that needs to be brought in now or whether we should continue to watch and wait. If you are like me and most people are, where you need an accountant, lawyer and a mechanic that you can trust, McNally is the absolute right group for the mechanic part of your team. They even provide you with a link via text where you can see exactly what is going on with your vehicle while in their care, including battery life, break life and any repairs needed. Last week was the first time I had used McNally in a number of years. I changed cars and I had it serviced by a chain store within walking distance of my work. They "bandaided" the issue with my car and, in a number of weeks, the issue had resurfaced. I called McNally, brought the car in the next morning and was able to pick it up the same day. It runs perfectly. Their service is exceptional. They are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. In the future I will not bring my car to another mechanic.

Owning a 2000 CLK Mercedes makes finding a reputable mechanic difficult so you can imagine our delight when we found McNally's! We had trouble with our convertible roof and they quickly accessed the situation and for less than $500 fixed the problem where the dealership had previously quoted over $1800. They did a thorough check of the entire car and where able to send us a detailed report including photographs of any issues and any other possible work the car might need. The report was clearly itemized with items that were okay, items for suggested service and items that needed servicing. I have to also send out a special shout out to Aidan and Nicole who took the time to clearly communicate and discuss the issues and for their upbeat and positive attitude. So nice to find such great service these days and as I said to Nicole - I will definitely be back, but hopefully not too soon :)

I have owned 3 older Mercedes in my life and McNally's has on occasion serviced all of them quite satisfactorily. I have always found the front office staff, Nicole and Pauline, polite knowledgeable and business like. Pauline would go the extra mile to drive me to the subway if time permitted, on the odd occasion when a loaner car was not available. Charlie and his mechanics are all experienced and capable, have always been friendly, informative and honest, and the provided repairs/service always top notch. On my most recent visit they provided me by email, a full assessment of all mechanical issues identified by a complementary inspection, complete with photos and parts/labour estimates. Parts for older Mercedes cars can be a challenge to acquire and very expensive. I recently had troubles with leaking hydraulic roof cylinders on my 20 year old SL500. Dealer replacement parts , listed over $1000, but Nicole and Charlie were able to source out rebuilds at a very significant savings. I can recommend McNally's without reservation for new or old MB cars and will continue to use them with full confidence.
This was the most distasteful auto service I've ever experienced. I recently brought in my car for a repair and the service I received was horrible. The receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional. She demanded I pick up my vehicle and blamed me over the phone when she nor anyone made me aware of this.
Came to this location after hearing many positive experiences from customers and friends. Was told to..."just get used to it" when my Mercedes was experiencing a problem. Ended up going somewhere else and they were able to locate and fix the issue.
Charlie, Nicole and the team at McNally are amazing. We've been using them for almost 10 years to service our German Cars (Benz and BMW's). Usually keeping a Benz/BMW outside of warranty can be an expensive proposition. The team at McNally are experts who do amazing work that's priced fairly. If you own a Benz or BMW there's no better independent mechanic in the city.

I bought an 2006 E320 CDI, and I knew the shock absorbers are shot. I friend of mine, highly recomended, this auto shop, specialized in European cars. At the first appointment they check through the car, and they printed a list of repairs to be done, to bring the car perfect condition, for its age. We went through the list and together decided what to be done. I liked that they are onest, never tried to suggest extra work, which it was not necessary. Upfront, I got the list with how much will cost every procedure. We agreed and in one day and half everything was done. Now the car feels like new, I really enjoy driving it. THEY ARE PROFESSIONALS!!!

I dealt with Andrei, who accepted my 2005 Smart car after two other auto shops refused to touch it. The car looked a little ridiculous amongst the antique Mercedes and other fancy huge cars in the garage, but I was treated with respect. Needed to know if I should keep or sell. Car was inspected as I waited and I was invited into the back garage to see what Andrei was talking about. He gave me excellent advice. I will definitely return and highly recommend this professional repair shop.

They have loaner cars for longer repairs! I am always brought into the shop and shown the required repair and old parts are always in the car upon completion. McNally has been my only mechanic shop for 7 years and they just keep getting better.

I have a 2003 S-class and a 2011 GL450 both service by McNally. I reside in Oakville so simple oil change and engine air filter change I would get it done locally to save time driving to North York. Any other maintenance and repair, no one touches my Mercs except Charly McNally. Charly shoots straight, knows Mercedes and provides honest opinions and options. I have not had to re-finance my home mortgage owning two Mercedes all these years. I actually discovered Charly McNally from Benzworld.org forum. Merc owners who want to know more about their cars and Mercedes in general, should sign up which is free. Lots of owners and mechanics play an active role in this forum. Charly is highly recommended.
I will not be going back there again. The receptionist at the front named Nicole is very rude and abrupt. I sat there for almost an hour and during that time I encountered her being rude to EVERYONE that walked in. Her body language speaks for itself. A gentleman walked in and was addressing her about an issue and because she was cutting him off he decided to speak to her coworker instead. She was so upset. She is known to cut people off when they are talking and when she's on the phone she yells at people. She even said a bad word to herself out loud with people sitting in the waiting room. She was talking office politics with her coworker for everyone to hear! I don't know why she is employed there. Because of her I will not be going back. I will take my business elsewhere.
I bought my ML350 from a friend who used to take it to McNally for all regular services. He was very happy with their service and advised me to do so, which I did. While overall maintenance cost of used Mercedes vehicles is very expensive, but I could trust on McNally team to provide a quality service at reasonable cost. It is a place where you will get same professional expertise and service you may get at a dealer but at a lower cost and faster with no frills!

Derek, and his team showed me that customer service is alive and well at McNally's. The shop is spotless for a mechanical repair shop. The benches are clean and the tools are neat and organized. That was my first impression and that impression was spot on. This is a shop that I can have confidence in. This is a shop that wants me back to build a relationship based on trust. I have been using Charlie McNally's auto service for my last 2 Mercedes for 20 years now.....I have always been treated fairly and received good advice in fixing any problems with the car....sometimes he will give an opinion with the problem, and suggest it is not necessarily urgent to repair but he will keep an eye on it next time I am in there for other servicing.... I highly recommend Charlie...he has always been transparent and honest.
