It took 3 tries, mutiple trips back and forth for them to refinish one rim. Every single time there is dust under the clear coat, paint runs and sloppy touch up paint. For the price paid, the finish was absolutely terrible, seemed like something done in a backyard. Even on the 3rd attempt, the colour doesnt even match the rest of my wheels. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for wheel refinishes.

The guys at Leprecon removed all imperfections (tire scuffs, curb rash) and made them perfect like they were brand new! I dealt with Max, who I believe is the manager; he ensured that my experience was nothing short of amazing, and he definitely delivered on that promise! Very professional guys. Max is great and they did a great job fixing my 4 wheels (3 of the 4 rims were bent badly). They actually gave me a break on the price too (charged me as if I had 2 normal damage rims and 2 bad ones - that's 2x$90 and 2x$200 as opposed to 1x90 and 3x200) and they also mounted the new tire for me and all the small final touches. They also helped accomodate my need to drive the car to work and minimized the time I had to leave the car to one day by doing one of the badly damaged wheels on a different day. They also got me into the inspection even though it was close to the end of the day. I will definitely go back to have them refinished, and will recommend them to everyone I know.

I have taken my business to Leprecon Rim Repair Centre a few times now and am so incredibly happy that this shop exists! They have fixed pretty bad curb rash on a rare and expensive set of my 19" Audi S4 Wheels for me perfectly and recently were able to help me fix a mistake on a custom set of BBS wheels that another shop made in mounting tires that did not fit. Two other specialized shops were unable to perform this work and Leprecon Rim Repair not only were able, but also saved the tires and me a lot of money in the process. Brought in my newly “as is” purchased Mazdaspeed3 because I knew 3 of my rims were bent. Talked to Max about bringing it by to take a look and he was confident he could fix them. After Tire Depot and Auto Service (in Thornhill) changed my tires, every one of my rims were damaged. I went to Leprecon and they restored them so well, they now look brand spanking new. The guys are very pleasant to deal with, and even discounted their normal rate because they had to spend an extra day working on them. I didn't mind the extra time, especially with the end result, but nevertheless grateful they care about their customers to such an extent. Thanks Leprecon! I will be back for other restorations.

I had these guys powder coat all 4 wheels and centre-caps of my Porsche Cayman about a year ago. A few days after they were done, large pitting started forming in the spokes that was indicative of a poor prep job. They re-sanded and re-coated the wheels, and while the pitting was gone the second time, the centre-caps never really fit in the wheels very well anymore. But if that was the only issue, I wouldn't have left this review. It turns out that these guys failed to mask off the mating surfaces of the wheel where it contacts the wheel hub. Over time, heat cycles caused the powder coat to start cracking and melting, and without a solid metal mating surface between the wheel and wheel hub, my WHEEL BOLTS STARTED TO BACK OUT ON ALL 4 WHEELS. I'm glad I noticed it when I did because it wouldn't have taken much more driving for me to lose a wheel or seriously damage the car. It took my mechanic OVER 4 HOURS to sand off all the powder coat from just the wheel+wheel hub mating surfaces and now the wheels no longer have any issues. THESE GUYS DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. For your own safety's sake, especially if you take your car to the track, DO NOT USE THEM.

I recommend Leprecon Rim Repair 100%! This was my first time going to them and I have to be honest Max and his team are not only professional and provide amazing rim repair and custom work but, they truly understand how important your project is to you. They hold them selves to a high standard of quality and let nothing pass that is anything less then the very best! I took my Black Rhino Off Road rims to them for a custom paint job that was suppose to be a couple days work. But after they noticed a small issue with the bolts cracking the new paint when they tried to insert them back on to the rims. They didn’t hesitate, it simply was not good enough for the high level of quality for them and their customers. They decided to re-strip the work they did and restart again. When I talked to Max he said he needed a couple of more days and explained the issue. He was polite, respectful, and took the time to explain why and I totally understood. There was no haggling or dispute, Max simply said he and his team would not accept poor quality so him and is team repainted the rims again. I was so impressed. Sure the project didn’t meet the initial timeline but in fairness my custom work was unique. Who hasn’t had a task or a project at one time or another that didn’t present a challenge or two. But, owning it, stepping up to ensure it gets done to high standards and great quality for successful result wins in my books every time over having to extend your projects timeline a couple of days to get exactly what you want and to be completely happy and satisfied with it and that is exactly what Max and the team at Leprecon Rim Repair did! A couple days later they called to let me know they were ready and when I saw the rims and custom paint work they did I was so happy and very very pleased. They look amazing! ???????? I trust Max and his team and I know personally that they do great work and I will definitely be bringing my future projects to them and recommending them to anyone who needs rim repair, or paint work, custom projects, etc. Thank you Max and everyone at Leprecon Rim Repair for taking great care of me and my project and for providing amazing quality work! Been a customer for a while now, came in numerous times to have wheels balanced and serviced with Daniel -- always friendly and accommodating. Yesterday, I came in after work to see if they perform wheel straightening services. I was told that they do, but would have to come in tomorrow morning as there was a recent power outage and the machines were offline. No problem, I was expecting to take the day off tomorrow and bring it in the next day. They stated that the service would take 3-4 hours and cost roughly $130 with the tire on rims and on the car. The next day, I wake up early to remove the wheel and leave my car on jacks stands to help speed the process. I come into the shop at 11:00am and speak with ROMAN in the Service department. He tells me the cost is $135 and reiterated that it would take 3-4 hours. I go through with it even though I was quoted $130 yesterday with the wheel still on the car... I made a request to take a quick video of the wheel spinning on the machine before and after just to keep a log of the bend. He tells me I might not be able to visually see any differences due to "microscopic changes"... He seemed to have dismissed my comment after dropping the wheel off in his hands, I ask him again if I should wait while he speaks with the technician about my request. He says yes, walks away for 20 minutes before coming out and saying he is unavailable. I sit in the lounge thinking the technician is on break and will be back soon, or that they would find another tech to throw it on the machine. After waiting an HOUR, I gave up on the request and went to get lunch. I told him I would come back at 3:00pm, 4 hours after the drop-off. After grabbing lunch I am back at the shop at 3:00pm. I ask Roman if the job is finished, he says he will go to the back to check. He walks away for 30 minutes this time and tells me the electricians came in to work on the power outage from yesterday and they had to "kick everyone out". This was a blatant lie as I find out the wheel hasn't even been started on as I walk to the back of the building from the outside waiting for him to come back. And not to mention, the electricians just got there around the same time I arrived... *I work in the automotive industry and know that it would only take 1-1.5 hours to straighten minor bends in a wheel depending on the process such as heat treatments. It is now 3:30pm and I think they finally start working on my wheel. I sit at the lounge and wait another whole HOUR for them to begin the job. 4:15pm swings around and Roman has disappeared. At this point I am extremely frustrated so I asked another employee to check the progress of my wheel. He walks away for 15 minutes to tell me the wheel is on the machine and that this part takes the longest (probably dismounting the tire). I ask him honestly, "if the wheel hasn't been worked on and all that was done is removal of the tire from the rim, then to send it back to me". He goes to the back again. Roman comes out and tells me to follow him to take the video of the wheel that I wanted nearly 5 hours ago. The technician shows me the bent location and spins the wheel with his bare hands. THE WHEEL IS NOT EVEN HEATED. Cold working an aluminum, $800 Vorsteiner wheel... *Ontario just announced another COVID-19 lockdown with stricter stay-at-home orders. Little did the shop know that I had other business to take care of which required it to be completed before everything closes down tomorrow. I am beyond frustrated at this point and want to get the hell out. He assures me it will take 30 more minutes, knowing that it is finally at the final stages, I sit and wait in my car. 45 minutes later, I get a call to come pickup my wheel. It is now 5:15pm and it took 6hrs15m to straighten one 19" wheel and a whole lot of wasted customer time. I ask him if I could get a discount due to the extra time taken for the job, previous quote with the wheel still on car, and causing me to miss my other appointments. He dismisses me entirely and said that it would take 5-6 hours as "previously stated"...

Great, professional work on the rim but customer service could be better. I was told my rim was ready and went for pick up the following day and paid once I got there but I had to wait over 40 minutes as they forgot that I dropped off the wheel on a tire. Mounting the rim on the tire took way too long as I assumed I would just come pick up and leave.

I had a seasonal tire swap at a large Big-box store and was told that my FL alloys are warped and may need to be repaired/replaced. It seemed right as the car would vibrate at high speed very badly. Got a phone call saying my rim has a slight bend and will cost $40 to fix it, which should have been included in the price of welding already according to the website. Work was done on time! Could have wiped the dust made by all the sanding though.

Had both my Original (2-tone/Diamond-Cut edge) and Replica (matte-black) set of BMW 435i rims dropped off with Max for refinishing (curb rash). Got the rims back within a reasonable timeframe as promised and they made a perfect colour match with the original/other rims. Max was GREAT, actually he is simply the best! I tried to give him some more business asking to change the colour of my rims but he gave me some honest money saving advice instead. If you are looking for a HONEST rim repair shop that also does an EXCELLENT job, look no further.... LEPRECON any day!!!!

fixed a minor crack but cant say theyve done a great job. they could have done a far better job with sanding and maybe avoid spray painting over dirts on the rim... I mean you are a reputable business charging nearly 20% more than other shops for the same job, I expected a far better job. Unfortunately you lost my future business

Would recommend 100%. Had a pretty badly curbed aluminum forged wheel where some of the metal was scraped off. They did quick repairs and welded and repainted the wheel for me and you can't even tell that it was damaged at all. Friendly service

These guys do EXCELLENT work. So good In fact, I’ll still give a 5 start review even with the little mishap with picking up my car after hours. I thought the colour of my dark grey sti rims (sort of a matte finish) would be kind of hard to match. I gotta tell ya they said it’ll be a 95% match.. it’s more like a 105% match. Amazing work! A little bit pricey but totally worth it. If I ever curb my car again like an idiot I’ll be back!

I was referred to Leprecon Rim Repair Centre by a friend who spoke highly of their work. They were definitely right. I curbed my rim ($200K car) and literally couldn't sleep. When I went in, they advised that I may need to possibly re-finish the rim. I was not happy with this option as it takes away from the OEM wheel, especially on a high end vehicle. They advised they may be able to Touch it up without having to re-finish the whole rim however the repair will be slightly visible. I was ok with this and so I asked them to proceed. Fast forward to picking the car up, the touch-up job was flawless. Not visible at all! I can sleep in peace again! They definitely under sold the quality of their touch up work (which I can appreciate).

When the manufacturer of my 3 piece rims would do nothing about the flaking of their chrome lips, I found Leprecon to powder coat my rims. If you want to protect your rims or give them a totally different look at an affordable cost don't hesitate. Go see Max at Leprecon. He knows his stuff! I reached out to Max last week to have my rims re-coated after a few years to fix curb rash, rock dings, etc. Max refinished my rims within a week at a great cost! I'm now ready for Summer. Got my cracked rim fixed. After trying another place and paying them for an UNSUCCESSFUL repair job I went here and got it done without any problems. rates were normal (same as the other place) but my experience was 100 times better. Guys could use some training in better customer service but all these shops r slightly to the point in a rude kinda way, but I didn't mind that considering the job was done. I had an 18" AMG wheel.

I had two gold wheels refinished here for a curb rash and after i got them the colors werent even close. They attempted to redo it and after the colors still dont match. I told the young frount counter guy that they still dont match and he said "you gotta be kidding me?, you cant 100% match" Like its advertised at 100% match, i said screw it and took the $400 hit. Now everytime i look at them im super unhappy and wished I never got them finished in the first place

Great place to visit for rim repairs trust me have been to other places like e.g "wheel for less" they are garbage compare to this place. Leprechaun is a little expensive but trust me you get real value for your money I have tasted best of both worlds.

Max and the staff at Leprecon are the REAL DEAL!!!!!! I had visited them about a month ago when I was thinking about refinishing my Z06 factory wheels. After 10 years of summer driving they have gotten the usual nicks, scratches and what not. 1 wheel I had lightly curbed 5 years ago and figured it was time to redo them. Well, I didn't get around to it as I decided to get new wheels so I sold the factory ones. I was going to spend huge coin on a set of new Forgeline wheels but came across a set of lightly used ones for like half the price. I decided to go for it and bought them. This set was a 5 spoke 3 piece Forgeline wheel that had a polished outer lip. The lips again had light usage and also had scratches and nicks in the finish. The center section had the same but 1 spoke got a bad scratch from the seller when he had to dismount tires before shipment to me. I had researched various places to refinish wheels but I'm very picky in who I choose. I have had dealings with refinish places before on a set of Motegi wheels that a tire shop had screwed up and I was less than impressed. There was no way I would take these expensive wheels to just anybody to have them refinished. After my research, I took them to Leprecon for Max to have a look 2 weeks ago. He looked at them and told me there would be no problem refinishing them to be like new. He was right on the money!!!!! It took them 1 week to redo all the wheels and yes they are LIKE NEW!!!!!! I could not believe it all the scratches and nicks were polished out of the lips and the centre sections looked beautiful, that 1 scratch on the spoke was totally gone. I was amazed and glad that I did the work to refinish them before mounting my new tires on them to use on my Z06. Instead of taking these newly done wheels and tires to my tire place to mount the tires Max suggested that I let them do the mounting and balancing and I agreed. Tires are mounted and I am anxiously waiting till spring to put them on and start using them. I had visited Leprecon 3 times for this refinishing project (and I don't live nearby) and it was all worth the time and gas to go there. They know their wheel refinishing and will do it right and proper the first time. I will definitely go there again in the future for any refinishing work on my wheels. Thank you to Max and the staff at Leprecon. Well done!!!!!!!

Will come back again! Update 09/19/17 - Visit #2 I had a set of aftermarket wheels that needed fixing so I called Max Saturday morning and he told me to bring them in. I came in and he helped me right away. I thought they were dented, however, after a quick diagnosis of each wheel/tire, it was just a balancing issue that was fixed in 30 minutes. I am extremely satisfied with this business and grateful to have found them. Max, thanks again for all of your help! Next time, coffee is on me.

I was here like 5 years or so ago, they picked up my rims from my house in toronto ! Took it to a dt location to restore and strip the chrome, took it to their shop to paint and while i was inside they had a million colors, max I think his name was, I think he was Russian, INCREDIBLY PATIENT and nice, I took over an hour to choose which black I wanted and he even showed me samples. My only disappointment and complaint was that I asked for satin black and it came out matte and dull, but I'd definitely give them a another shot and not to me to mention I think I paid $500 for the 4 rims to get painted, can't remember if the chrome strip was included since it was so long ago.
