I recently tried Downsview Chrysler for service on my vehicle based on a recommendation from a friend. He said Eric Boyd, a mechanic at Downsview, is excellent and will find the source of whatever issue you are experiencing with your vehicle. It’s TRUE! I had my vehicle at another dealership 4 times in the past year for the same issue and they couldn’t figure it out (or didn’t even bother trying). Eric Boyd at Downsview figured out the issue quickly and solved it. Thank you!!! I will definitely return to Downsview for my regular services from now on.

Last year I bought a used car from Downsview Chrysler. I dealt with the Used car sales manager, Brian Paquette. He was very pleasant to deal with. I was so happy with the car, which was driven to Yellowknife with no issues and is still perfect that I went back this year to look for a used car for my son. Worst car purchase experience I've ever had in my life. The manager Ben Kepecs was extremely rude to me after changing my mind on the color of the vehicle( I had no time to research and was pushed to buy the vehicle after walking in to just learn about it). I wanted all black Jeep and the one he was selling to me was with silver rims and grille ( didn't know the front is silver too). He told me you should've known when you signed the papers and that he doesn't have time to discuss this with me. He said he has other clients to talk to and that I've been there for too long ( implying that I'm wasting their time). I asked aren't I a customer too ? I was willing to pay more to go for the all black and not go through the hassle of after market changes but they way they came up with the prices, it came down to 7k-8k more in price to have the jeep in all black. After that rude behavior and unreasonable price, I wanted to cancel the deal which he then replied there is nothing you can do to cancel in a demeaning way. You pushed me to buy your car in a color I don't want at least have the decency for me to talk about my problem. Provide a solution... who does business like this ? Later I found out that the discount they're giving me was a general discount which was available in all dealer jeeps. I was a hard lesson for me to learn to not be pressured to buy a car. I can't trust a dealership that has a manager like Ben. Please go in with someone that knows about cars and don't make the same mistake as I did. When you enter the first time everyone has a smile on and they offer you water but once they're done selling you the car, you don't mean anything to them.

It was Day 1 of "looking" for something newer. Had in mind that I wanted a used Dodge Journey. From the minute Hanan greeted me and my boyfriend in the lot, he was super attentive. After going through some questions, he brought out exactly what I was looking for....even if I didn't know it yet. He was so patient with my uneasiness of buying the first vehicle I looked at, but still walked me through the process and the pricing options. He also offered a number for an insurance broker if I needed assistance in that respect. He was super laid back (NO PRESSURE) but also very professional. Now onto financing with Robin. He's a hoot! He was able to get me financed at a reasonable rate in no time! Super friendly and helpful. Every time I stopped in to drop off any paperwork before final delivery both of these guys were here and happy to see me and chat. Chris M. and Masoud A. has been extremely patience with my indecisiveness and gazzillion questions. Update : service is actually horrible. I dropped a brand new car off at 8am, I called at 3pm and they told me they had no idea what's wrong with the car. No loaner was provided I walked home now I am left to figure out how to get to work the next day. Sales guy went above and beyond. I usually do not leave reviews but I am doing this because I actually appreciate Jay for helping me with my trade in vehicle and answering every question I had promptly. Hey, so i’m not sure if my experience is unique or not it is my very first time doing business with this company. I called the service department and was lucky enough to speak with Diana. She was like the conductor in a well tuned orchestra. She asked me to bring my van in on Wednesday morning at 7:30am that’s when they open. So at 7:30 I arrived early and was the third person in line . The service advisor Shane took my keys and said they would do their best to have it ready just after noon and introduced me to Allan who promptly drove me back to my office in a very comfortable minivan. At 10 am I received a call from Diana she said all the parts were in stock and they completed the recall service. I asked if there was any chance Allan could pick me up and without hesitation she said he will call me when he is at my front door. I arrived back at the dealership and Diana had my paperwork ready with my keys. This was the best service I have ever received from any car dealership ever in my 66 years. A real pleasure for me! Thank you to the management of Downsview Chrysler, to Diana, Allen and Shane. Great job everyone! Ps when you google search Downsview Chrysler one of your competitors always comes up first. Their heading is a little misleading, it reads Downsview Area Chrysler dealer. I thought it was you folks twice and called them with some confusion. Not sure if or what you can do about that! these guys are amazing! I never bought a car from them until yesterday but I was always impressed with their service department. Downsview Chrysler has contacted me numerous times over the past 9 months, since March 2020 by mail, email, and telephone. I finally came in to Downsview Chrysler yesterday, Wednesday, December 9, 2020. I was clear in dealing Mike White and Kanyan (language barrier), the only opportunity I was interested in, was one whereby I would trade in my existing 2017 Fiat 500 L (still under warranty and purchased at Downsview, financed through Scotia Bank) for a Fiat 500X. I am open to an older model however due to current pandemic restrictions I need my financing to remain the same at $201.67 bi-weekly and not a penny more. The only option I was given was a 2016 Fiat 500X Lounge on the showroom floor. The hanging signage read as follows (this is also what is listed on your website): $ 210 bi-weekly $4,000 down 72 months $22,665 47,774 kms I had to request to test drive the vehicle only to discover the battery dead on the showroom floor. I was told not to worry “you can test drive it” but first I needed to have my vehicle “seen” by my vehicle manager. Upon completing inspection of my warranted vehicle with snow tires with 33,008 kilometres and no damage I was offered a pricing option of $261 bi-weekly. When I asked why I could not test drive an alternate vehicle of the same model I was told “its dead”. I repeated my story once again for the fourth time at this point, and an hour of waiting, let them know I was not interested. Then I was asked to wait, another 15 minutes. Mr. Brulinski showed me the same offer statement with $241 circled this time. Please note, the offer was lowered by an additional $20, and yet was still not the $210 bi-weekly offer tagged to the showroom vehicle with $4,000 down. My vehicle valuation is between $5,460 and $13,222 and as such worth more than the $4,000 down pricing so it would actually stand to reason (in a reasonable world) that I would be offered a much lower pricing option. $185 bi-weekly $5,460 – taking into consideration the lowest possible valuation @ 72 months 33,008 kms +snow tires w rims *remains under warranty This in fact would not only be the responsible offer based solely on the facts moreover it would take into consideration the financial impact on your business, myself personal and the world economy (as melodramatic as it seems, it is our reality) much less my request to maintain my current financial instalments of $201.67 bi-weekly. It blows my mind that Downsview Chrysler remains within the confines of ‘the sleezy car salesman’ stereotype in this day and age. I reached out in the hopes that you were unaware of how daily business is being conducted. That being said the ultimate being that no one else have to be scammed in this manner. Mr. Brulinski, pre-owned manager, followed up via to simply justify his actions. Mr. Paquette, alternate pre-owned manager, followed up via telephone to let me know simply that Mr. Kepecs, dealership president, asked him to contact me. That's it. Sad but not surprising! I can only talk about their service, not sales. Service is terrible, full stop. They don't care about customers, be prepared to wait even if you have booked an appointment. Repairs are normally not solved in the first visit, so you will likely need to come back. It's up to you to keep following up to check if your car is ready. Shuttle service operates with only one car so again be prepared to wait or pay Uber out of pocket (recommend taking your laptop with you so at least you can work from there while you wait). It feels like they think they are doing you a favor, even though you are paying dearly. I can only hope this review helps other customers and steer things in the right direction.

They have the worst service in Toronto! First time I went there to fix a flat tire, they didn’t find nothing. Took my 2019 RAM to another place and they fixed in 15 minutes. Today I went there (battery issue) and waited for more them 3 hours. When they finished, they just gave me back the keys and said: “We didn’t find the problem.” Think twice when you buy your new Car there, their service it’s terrible.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM DOWNSVIEW CHRYSLER! I purchased a BRAND NEW JEEP here in June 2020 (4 months ago). When purchasing the vehicle I gave their TOP SALESMAN (Sammy) my background, that I travel to and from my cottage in the Kawartha's weekly. I over emphasized the importance of a safe and reliable vehicle. Being a single woman this was of high priority. The salesman(Sammy) GURANTEED me that the jeep wrangler was for me. He gave me his personal cell phone number and told me to contact him at ANYTIME if I had an issue. On October 11 2020 (4 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE) as I was driving home from my cottage to attend Thanksgiving, the Jeep broke down in the middle of the intersection of 4 major highways. The car computer was seizing and was acting like it was possessed. The car was unmoveable leaving me in the middle of a busy intersection in the country, freezing cold. Truly one of the most terrifying moments of my life. I called roadside assistance and emphasized that I was in a dangerous location, she refused to help me until I had given my full name, phone number and full address. The connection actually cut out once due to poor cellular service. After giving all information only then, sent a tow truck and told me that they would only be able to tow me to Peterborough which is 2 hours from my home and 45 minutes from my cottage. I informed her that I was far from home of the cottage, she told me that this was my only option. I contacted Sammy who told me to call him at ANYTIME. Guess what, he did nothing. There is no uber in Peterborough, and no taxis were willing to drive me to either of my locations. I was stranded in Peterborough on Thanksgiving in the cold, waiting for my mother to drive 2 hours from Toronto to pick me up. The dealership in Peterborough did everything they could to get my car fixed as rapidly as possible, and they were beyond helpful and really a pleasure. I wish I could say the same about Downsview. They did nothing through the ordeal to help me or offer any assistance. All they did was blame roadside, blame the tow truck for not complying with my request to take me to Toronto, and say "these things happen". The most disgusting was insulting the dealership in Kawarthas capabilities to fix my car. (IF YOU NEED TO BUY A JEEP OR CHRYSLER GO TO KAWARTHA) I just left Downsview Chrysler hoping to have some solution as in a guarantee that this would never happen again and if it did, I would never be stranded. The salesman was not able to offer me such a guarantee, peace of mind that this would never happen again, OR ANY SOLUTIONS. My car BROKE DOWN AFTER 4 MONTHS and STRANDED me 2 hours from home in the cold on thanksgiving and I was CARLESS FOR ONE WEEK while being repaired. When I expressed my disappointment to the salesman not only with the vehicle but the customer service he gave me, he replied that it was not his fault so he was not obligated to offer me anything “WE ONLY SELL THE CARS WE DON’T BUILD THEM”. This is not a basic JEEP, this is a high end deluxe version. I never asked for a discount when I was buying it. I asked for safety and reliability. I did not get that. Their salesman guaranteed me that it was safe and reliable "my son and I both drive them, I can guarantee you there is no safer, or more reliable car". They will tell you anything to take your money and when they have, they will not help you. DO NOT FALL FOR THESE SLIMY TACTICS! AND DO NOT BUY FROM DOWNSVIEW CHRYSLER! REPLY TO DEALERSHIPS COMMENT: I made NO requests to come pick me up from 2 hours away! This is about the service department. If I could rate it minus I would but zero is as low as I can go. My problems started (perhaps coincidence, perhaps not) with my very first tire rotation on my brand new Caravan (which they performed). From that time forward I was troubled by intermitent steering wheel vibrations at highway speeds. Made multiple visits to dealership to resolve. Had multiple conversations with the service manager to resolve. Besides 'inspections,' all they did is replace all 4 rims but the identical problem persisted. After hearing about wheel bearing issues with Dodge/Chrysler products, I tried to help by suggesting they check those. They refused and claimed they couldn't help me any more. What a waste of my time! Contacted Chrysler Canada and they suggested I try another dealer so I am pursing that option now.

I did test drive on Jeep Cherokee with their executive Jordan Robinson, the car felt amazing fully loaded with technology. I left home that day and returned the next day morning Sean told me that all my bank approvals went without any problem and I would be handed over the vehicle the same day. These guys told me they had a Rebel GT with the specs I wanted. Then told me I needed to come in to buy it. No talk about a deposit which I would have gladly provided. I spent an hour driving there, they showed me there price which was significantly more than what was quoted over the phone, then they asked for my best offer. I gave it to them, they did their little dance of going to get approval from the manager and then the rep comes back and says sorry it has been sold. Zero professionalism and zero consideration for the customer. I would give 0 out of 5 if possible.

I am a little dissapointed that upon picking up my new 2019 Wrangler, it was not put through the car wash, it hadn’t been vacuumed (had loose dirt on the floor mats) and the gas tank was less than half full (I’ve always had my new Jeeps delivered to me with a full tank). This is my 4th Wrangler and while it is brand new, I was expecting it to be in pristine condition upon pick-up like my last 3. All in all, I am very happy with my new Wrangler. Thanks Downsview.

They quote you an amount and it is totally different then what you authorize. By the way they rectified this. Came in because I have an issue with the transmission. Was told I had to pay for it to be checked. Agreed. They came back saying nothing wrong with it. I tell them the car stalls when I accelerate. Their answer is sorry the computer and the service person tested it and found nothing wrong. Hmmm. This is the same with all the dealers. Never want to honor the warranty. The car maker and dealers only care when people die and they have a law suit because of their negligence. What was good, Shane Goldstein was a good service advisor. I am submitting this review because if anything happens to me while driving at least I can state I tried to have the repairs done but was was told I was told "there is nothing wrong with your car".

Worst service centre ever in my experience of owning a car in 4 countries. Gave my car for transmission oil leakage for the first time at this service centre the fix costed me $800 bucks. After 4 days I started seeing issue with AC for the first time in 2 years of me owning this dodge journey, went back and gave my car at service centre , they took one day even to touch my car and never called back informing about the delay. I kept on calling and had to wait for ever to be connected to service person. I requested that this AC issue was introduced due to the earlier fix but they didn't accepted it and charged me $250 for gas top up and said they didn't found any leakage. After 5 days, again I started having same AC problem and now they say, they found a leak in AC compressor and charged me $760 for the replacement. Looks like this service centre is total scam. Not going there again and request all the readers to learn from me rather than having your own bad experience.

They wouldn’t let us walk on the lot and take a look, we were rushed into a test drive and rushed back inside. They wouldn’t give a quote without my husbands personal information so we reluctantly gave it, and then when we tried to leave they wouldn’t let us see the quote or even take a pic of the number. The salesman was aggressive and pushy. We told him multiple times that we were not buying today and he would not stop trying to pressure us. Disappointing experience with this company. Customer Service is a 1/10. I give a 1 as the woman that greeted me was kind; after that the service went downhill. The manager Ed should never be allowed to deal with people directly. During the difficult period of COVID-19 people need to be kinder and more understanding; yet he spoke down to me. He refused to contact his rep to explain the situation that my warranty on a 7 month old Jeep SRT had expired during a time when the entire Country was basically shut down. During my contract signing, information about the car I was purchasing was withheld leading me to purchase redundant services such as additional insurance. After this contract was signed I was made aware that the car I purchased already had the insurance which I payed about $1,594 for. I attempted to clear up what I thought was a simply mix-up with up with Richard Brulinski the Used Car Sales Manager. He alternated between ignoring me and stating that nothing could be done citing it is against regulations. Horrible place to buy a vehicle sales man tried to pawn off a vehicle I didnt want conned me into buying extended warranty at 34,000k front end shakes took the vehicle in at 37000k dealer saying front rotor is warped but pads are fine and it's not covered under warranty because its almost almoast 40000k even thought I purchased extended warranty until 80000k other occasion brought my vehicle in for service getting it back with damaged due to bad services once my interior was full with grease. Give your service to another dealer this one is not worth it.

This is my first 1 star review. I have a car from this dealership, and while the servicemen themselves have ample experience and know what they're doing, I'll have to agree with other reviewers that a lot of staff in this dealership have an attitude problem. The part that really got to me and made me leave this review is their desire for money grabbing. I want to change brakes on my 7 year old vehicle and since I can do it myself I wanted to know what part I need. I called in to find out my OEM part number based on my VIN, but was told that "company policy" is they can't give out part numbers, only the price of the part. Well seems the "company policy" refers to this location only because I specifically called other Chrysler dealerships after that and every single one of them gave me the part number no questions asked, a couple even mentioned if it's because I want to know correct part size.

After putting a hold on a vehicle (paying a deposit) and in the process of completing the finance, being ignored for a full day because they sold the vehicle to someone else. After talking to Carlos he simply told us “we are here to sell” yes, that’s right Carlos, but you won’t ever get a sale from me. If I could give zero stars, I would. I’m often reminded how some people are out for themselves, anyone we talked to at Downsview Chrysler gave us that feeling. Thank you for wasting two weeks of our time. My wife and myself would like to personally thank Jordan Robinson and Downsview Chrysler for the exceptional treatment they gave to us when we purchased our 2021 Willys Unlimited Jeep. Covid brought on alot of challenges and with a chip shortage there wasn't many vehicles but all dealerships had this problem but we weren't concerned. There was a black Sahara and a Sarge green Willys along with a few other jeeps. We looked at them and test drove a black Sahara with the one touch roof feature, very nice. The Willys Jeep is all that we wanted and Jordan knew this (lol). He said to us why don't we just do the "build your jeep" option to get the specific color as well as the options you want and as time frame wasn't important to us we said "let's do it". Jordan was patient with us as we described what we wanted in/on the jeep and what we planned to do with it. We chose the Willys Jeep as it's the best option for both on and off road with its upgraded wheels, brakes and suspension. We are very happy that after just 2 months we have the jeep we wanted. I can't thank Jordan Robinson and Downsview Chrysler enough. I highly recommend both of them for your next Jeep purchase or van and truck for that matter. After my experience at Downsview Chrysler I'm hesitant to go back to get services from a dealership again. I went in for my vehicle jerking when in park and drive, they charged 162 for "inspecting the vehicle" but called me saying there was a recall on the ECU and that they took care of it. When i received my vehicle back it had the same problem. I took it in again, charged the 162 again, and was told that a cylinder was misfiring and that was the issue, with my frustration, i told them to go ahead and take care of it which was a couple more hundred dollars... Once I received my vehicle, Not even 20 minutes onto the road the same problem from the very beginning. My time and money wasted. Update: Went to another mechanic shop and they diagnosed the problem. Car needed a full tune up. Wish they could be more professional and value the customers time and money.

I've been to downsview Chrysler twice in the past 5 years to buy new cars. Both times I've went I've had great customer service and knowledgeable staff. When I first went to Downsview I was in search of Dodge Challenger, the 2 I liked were in the show room and I wasn't sure if I'd be able to test drive them. I met with Jacob Kepecs (car salesmen) and within 5 minutes both cars were outside ready to test drive. After some negotiation I got the car. I just bought a second Challenger and met with Jacob again, he was able to answer any questions or concerns I had. I found the customer service to be great and very helpful. I've been to many dealerships before who wouldn't give me the time of day, but Downsview Chrysler and Jacob have been great. In the future I'm sure I'll be back to get something else. Don’t waste your time and money here. I just left the dealership. After waiting from 12:00 PM to 1:48 PM. They DID NOT TOUCH MY CAR. The service manger Ed Comsa did not even apologize for that, instead he called his tech in front of me to check if I am lying on timing and he told me that I checked it in at 12:11 not 12:00 LOL. Normally you will spend a lot of money to fix the car after 100000 km or 5 years of usage, the car is not reliable and you better prepare to spend a good amount of money to fix the car. Don't get fooled by the ad or finance advantage because is not worse when you start to fixing it due mechanical or transmission issue. Second, when you call the dealership to do the services, you better prepare your psychology and patience because they don't have respect, they are rude and impolite with the clients. THINK TWICE ABOUT GOING THERE!!!!! Poor service. A car battery normal life is 5 yrs. Mine 3.5 years. They charged it and says nothing wrong. 3 days later back at there shop. Died 3 times in one day. Went elsewhere to get a reading for starter, alternator and battery, and reading says, replace battery. Dealer said to leave over night and they will take a reading for the battery. First of all you don't take a reading when it's fully charged. Then they tell me nothing is wrong with the battery. You get attitude from them.

I want to tell about my experience of buying a new car at Downsview Chrysler. On Monday, May 25 2020 I signed the documents and paid 1000 dollars deposit. They promised to give me the car on Wednesday. Next morning, being an honest person, I went to the bank and got the money order for the remaining part of the downpayment. I then took the money order to the dealership, where they told me to switch my car insurance from the old car to the new one. And that was it! After that I seized to exist for Downsview Chrysler. Every time I called, the receptionist told me that my salesman is busy with a client and will call me back. I waited an hour, two, three hours, but no one called me back. I am a handyman, I have clients and my schedule. I simply need to know at what time I can get the car, to be able to adjust my schedule. On day three, at the end of the day, I got lucky and got to talk to this always busy salesman. He said that the car will be ready on Thursday. Fine. I called insurance company to adjust the car insurance. On Thursday, same thing over again - I called, the salesman was busy, I waited for a call back for 2-3 hours, then called again, and again. At the end of the day, I somehow manage to catch the salesman. Turns out, the car will be ready on Friday. Great! I call insurance company once again to adjust. I finally got the car on Friday, and realized that the car pulls to the right, which means that wheel alignment is required. On Monday, I started calling the dealership again trying to figure out how to address this. Again I was told that they would call me back. Only after a third call and a threat to come personally, they got my salesman on the phone and he promised to find out and call me back in 15 minutes. And he again disappeared for 2 hours. By 4 pm, I was ready to explode. But ho miracle - he called back! First time in a week! Ladies and gentlemen, after you pay money, they simply forget about you in this company> Maybe it doesn't happen to everyone. Maybe they figured that since I don't speak English very well they can ignore me. I don't know, but I found the service in this dealership to be awful. PS. They didn't align the wheels, but they gave me a report that everything is fine. I suspect that nobody did anything at all. Or the second option is that their mechanics are so bad that they can't even do the alignment. I am going to see an independent expert, and then possibly a lawyer.

As my previous vehicle was a Chrysler product, I contacted Downsview Chrysler and Brian, the used car manager was there to help me. I told him what I wanted and the next day I was called to come and see a car that just came in on a trade. I was offered coffee, donuts and a tour. I had the opportunity to look at other vehicles, but the one chosen was the one I wanted. It was Jeep Compass. I have always owned cars, but this one was extremely clean and with low mileage. I was very satisfied with the selection given to me.When I picked up the vehicle, it was so clean in and out that I thought It was brand new. What I was impressed with was the transaction of purchase only took 10 minutes and I was on the road. Everyone was courteous, meticulous and very professional. Both Chris and Masoud (finance manager) were excellent, highly knowledgeable, and very helpful. If there was a negative star value, I would award it! I called days in advance and made an 8 am appoint for oil & tire change and was told when I arrived that it would be 1.5 hours+ . I told them I had an appoint at 12:30 and that should allow ample time. They dropped me off at my husband's work and when I did not hear back around 10:30, I called and was told that they had trouble locating my tires but that it would be done soon. When I again did not hear back around 11:30, I tried calling gain and then it took me close to half an hour of being put on hold, transferred to answering machines... before I finally reached a person who told me to call back again in 20 min. When again I tried to reach someone and it took numerous efforts, I was told that if I need my car I would have to reschedule and I told them that they needed to give me one of their cars to get to my appointment. They said okay but that there was no one around to come get me and someone would call when available. As I did not hear back and it was already 11:45 and my appointment was at 12:30, I borrowed my husbands car and left. They called me in the car at 12 noon to ask where I was to come and get me. I told them I was already on route to my appointment and to make sure my car was dealt with and my winter tires placed in my car. I had other appoint. scheduled for the afternoon that I had to cancel. They called me at 1 t tell me my car was ready. I told them I was in the middle of my meeting. I finished at 2 and called my husband to see if he needed his car so I could attend other business. He said he did and I thought maybe he could pick up my car and I would just keep his. I tried calling the dealership to make said arrangements but after being on hold for half an hour again, I hung up and just returned to my husband's business. I had him drop me off at the dealership as I did not want to waste another hour trying to get through and and then have to wait again for someone to come get me!! When I arrived, the tires were not in my car and then I had to wait around til they got someone to get them and put them in my car. When I finally was able to speak to someone in charge, he waived the charges and apologized but agreed there was no excuse. In the end, a simple call to appraise me of the delays/issues would have helped me make alternate arrangements or reschedule but no consideration was given to my time. I will never again step in the dealership for any service - even if its free!!

I have to say the Downsview Chrysler body shop (FIX AUTO) is absolutely the REAL DEAL! I purchased my Dodge Caravan in 2010. In 2015 they did a great job repairing my front end. The service was great. I retired and moved to Georgian Bay. Recently I was in an accident which damaged my rear quarter panel and bumper. I wanted to repair my Van near where I lived. The Estimate was astronomical. I called Ajay and drove to Toronto to have him estimate the damage, and low and behold it was 35% less than where I live. It was a little inconvenient traveling by Go Transit, but worth it to have my Van repaired at Downsview Chrysler, not only because of the cost, but because I had confidence that they wood do an AMAZING REPAIR, which they did previously. Ajay, the Manager who looked after me was very helpful and supportive. Ajay was very knowledgeable, personable, kind, and has a great sense of humor. When discussing the issues surrounding the repair he listens and responds to meet the needs of the customer and makes sure your vehicle is restored to factory specs using OEM Parts. Ajay had my Van ready in a timely manner. I never told Ajay how particular I am when I picked up the Van. I inspected the Van and it was perfect. The metallic black pearl paint matched perfectly in color and texture. Koodo's and many thanks to Ajay and his support staff who took pride in their work repairing my Van to Factory specs and going the extra mile. I am generally quiet pessimistic when it comes to shopping for a new vehicle. I visited a few delearships and was very unhappy with the initial experience and “pushiness” from the sales rep. I luckily dropped in to Downsview Chrysler and was approached by Derek Morris, who was friendly, calm, informative and genuine. It was immediately apparent to me that I would be buying a vehicle from him. Not only did he put together a SMOKING deal for me, he was completely honest and transparent and never put any pressure on me. He respected my time and made it a quick and stress-free experience. I never thought I would recommend a car salesman... Derek changed that!!!

I regret buying my car from this place. The buying experience was decent (interaction and paperwork-wise), its the after sales part that this place is way below par. My sales rep left the dealership soon after I made the purchase and I came back and found I knew no one. Anyway, I keep bringing my vehicle for oil-changes and service needs and sit here for hours for minor issues (I bought from here as I used to live not too far but have moved far since and there’s no easy commute back). Every time I take appointment before I come and there has been one occasion when I got an oil change in 5 hrs. I only found out that the job was complete after I asked around and found they forgot to tell me that the keys had come back. They would sometimes tell me the issue is fixed and I would go back and find its the same just while driving back home. Most recent experience have been getting a loose fender tightened in 4 hrs. The reason given is that the technicians were busy in a meeting. Right now, I’m here for the 3rd time waiting for a belt to be changed, my appointment was at 7:30 a.m. just so that I can get the work done today on a priority basis; the service advisor is not here yet at 8:00, so I had to seek help from someone else, and no idea when they will start working on it. Anyway, long story short, won’t come back here once my warranty expires, certainly won’t buy another vehicle from here or recommend it, there are better dealerships I’ve been to. The good part: I would be unfair not to acknowledge the two shuttle drivers who are extremely polite and friendly(I used one of them once for a ride and back nearby)

Every time I go to the service centre I have a terrible experience. Unfortunately they are the closest dealership to my house. Today I waited 4 hours for a simple tire and oil change, and they weren’t even busy because of COVID19! The first time I used them for a warranty defect on my brand new minivan, they didn’t reattach the trim properly that covers the whole front underside of the car. When I drove off, the whole thing dragged on the ground and buckled back causing damage to a brand new car. Next time, I will drive the extra half hour to another dealership!

This is the second Jeep I have bought from Downsview and I can with complete confidence say that it will not be the last! I traded in my 2 door Jeep Wrangler for a Jeep Grand Cherokee and the process was seamless. Right from the second I contacted Chris M, it was a very easy process. Chris was diligent, on the ball, responsive, very knowledgeable, understanding and was able to get me the best deal and trade in value possible. Given the restrictions of Covid-19, everything was done virtually (which was a lot easier than I thought) and Chris even drove my new car to my house to drop it off and pick up my trade in Jeep. When he got to my house, he gave me a full overview of the car and did not leave until I was comfortable and had no questions. I never received a call and I don't have a voicemail set up. Husband put downpayment and sign the contract unaware that we can’t cancel the transaction. We found other car that better price(for us to save), newer and the car I want. When he call if we can cancel, the salesperson said we can’t. Otherwise they can sue us because husband sign the contract. I’m in shock and the car we have now, my 3 kids loved them a lot. I know my husband went rushing to look the car because our previous vehicle has lots of problem, can’t drive too long, so he just sign the contact without reviewing the content of the contract, but when I ask him if the salesperson told him verbally for no cancellation/or final sell, he said no. But I’m so frustrated and very stressful what we knew today. We got no consideration. We thought we can save money as only husband work in our family and we have 3 small kids. Lesson learned, we don’t do business this dealership again and we will read the contract.

I’ve never had an experience quite like this when purchasing a new vehicle. It was like they were trying to find any excuse not to close this deal and allow us to pick up this new vehicle. The sales manager appeared to be working against us rather than with us to find solutions. Yes, we did have an issue with documentation but instead of a positive attitude to try to find solutions the ‘go to’ response was we can’t move forward. There are so many things that this dealership did to help us. First off I started looking for a minivan a year ago and then had to postpone to purchase. A year later, Jacob knew exactly who we were and was so willing to help. They found a way to get us the new van in 2 weeks rather than 2 months. This was not a typical purchase. We had a trade in to deal with. When we weren't happy with the trade in price Jacob and Derek sat with us as we called dealers for the car we were trading in to try to get a higher price. Then they waited while we went to that dealer to complete that sale. When the other dealer started to apply the pressure that's associated with dealers Jacob and Derek were so eager to make things positive that they matched the other dealer's sale price. Needed a Van for the family, walked into Downsview Chrysler due to online ads, great experience! First American car dealership I walked into and first time seeing a Grandcaravan! Patrick Senior did a great job, very good service and sold me a car 4 hour later with a price that I’m willing to accept (ofcourse I could always have saved more if I wasn’t too lazy to shop around)! One advice always DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH before going in. AND if you have the time, always shop around! BTW if someone from the dealership is reading this!
