Had a truly horrible experience here. Went in for a routine safety inspection. When I arrived they told me I had failed the inspection and would need work done. When I asked to see the inspection form - a legal document - they told me they hadn’t completed one. I insisted and they gave it to me, unsigned, without a mechanics number. I asked that they include the mechanics number and sign it - which is part of what I paid 120$ for - and was told they would not do so because I had had failed. The sheet clearly indicated that I failed and when i asked that it be completed to show my insurance I had legally completed the safety and would remedy the situation - I needed a new parking cable - I was told that they would not do so - a legal requirement for the inspection - because I would, quote “steal the number and use it to forge his signature without having the work done.” When I told him - the owner, his name was Brian - that i wanted the form completed he told me I wouldn’t get my car back unless I paid for the - totally useless - inspection because “he had seen every trick in the book.” I paid and was told that “he didn’t need business from people like me.” People like me what? Visibly Queer people? People who politely ask for what they have paid for? Women who tolerate being spoken down to by a yelling man? NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Brian apparently “doesn’t need my business” so he obviously doesn’t need yours.
