Had them do an oil change, brakes and put my tires on for the winter. I should have taken my vehicle right back to them because I paid a few hundred on my brakes and instantly my car started shaking like a tin can and my steering wheel would shake as well. Brought my vehicle to the dealership I bought it from to get them to look at it and was told what I paid for wasnt even done. I than had to pay for the same service to get done again and out another few hundred dollars I would not recommend WRA as the service is not honest.

Brought my vehicle in to have the power steering fixed as it was super stiff. Initially I thought it was just a simple change of power steering fluid issue but they told me it was an issue with my steering pump which would cost $500. Told me I'd get my car back the next day, but I didn't hear back until the following day where they told me I'd need to fork out an additional $1500 because apparently the rack was gone. I asked if I could think about it and they said no because they took the part off already so I was forced to pay for that as well. When I got my vehicle back, it literally had the same issues as it did when I brought it in. The mechanic, George, told me that apparently the real issue was the steering knuckle. They told me that because my car was not "road worthy" they were unable to test drive it and just fixed what they assumed was the problem. Told me that in order to fix this issue, it'd be another $500. I asked if they could be reasonable and fix it for free seeing as how they already made $2,500 off me for work that wasn't done (I understand there's a parts cost too but they are way overcharging for parts, $1150 for a rack is marked up way high) but they refused. When I questioned them on why they would fix something that didn't require fixing they lied and said I stated there was a loud screeching noise coming from my car when I first brought it in (there wasn't, the only issue was the stiff steering). All in all they charged me a total of $2,500 and didn't get the job done. I would not recommend this place unless you want to be scammed. I understand the pandemic has been tough for everyone but there's no need to scam people.

I cannot thank White Rock Automotive enough for their service. We were on our way to Seattle from Prince George and were sitting in the border lineup when we noticed our Nissan Cube overheating with a check engine light. We pulled out and were sent to White Rock Auto, where Alex greeted us and assured us that she would get the team to take a look at the Cube as soon as possible to try and get us back on the road. The problem was diagnosed quickly, and although it was already later in the afternoon Alex tried her absolute best to find us the part needed to get the job done by end of day. Unfortunately it wouldn't be available until the next day so they had to keep the car overnight, but once we'd found a place to stay Alex drove us there herself and told us she'd be back for us as soon as the car was ready the next morning. It was done much earlier than anticipated and we were on our way by 1030am the next morning. As we were sitting in the border lineup again, we noticed the car was still heating up rather fast and called White Rock Auto to double check - Alex had us come back just to be sure everything was ok. They again dropped everything to take a look at the Cube (we were on a tight timeline - it was the Friday of a long weekend and we needed to be in Seattle later that night). Turned out, as we were idling in the lineup again another problem had arisen. Alex and Harvey again tried everywhere to find the new part required but all of the parts dealers said it would probably be 3-4 days before they got any in (not a huge demand for Nissan Cube parts, go figure). Our last resort was an auto wrecker in Abbotsford, and they had one! Harvey drove out there himself to get it for us and got the work done immediately upon returning. We were again on our way, this time with no problems and the rest of the trip went smoothly. What could have turned our trip into an absolute disaster instead only caused a minor delay, thanks to the dedicated service of Alex, Harvey, and the rest of the team at White Rock Auto. Thank you to everyone who played a part in getting us on the road. To the owner, know that your staff members went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of and on our way, and that we will be forever grateful to have been sent to White Rock Auto.

Wasted my time and money! Had the family vehicle in for an out of province safety inspection. Was told the brakes are worn out. This was odd as they had been fully replaced less than 2 years/40K old. Brought to another shop to double check, and they were measured and found to be like new and not worn out. Steer clear of this place unless you like being ripped off!

The ABS sensor of my car was detached from the hub. I was told I'll have to replace the whole hub, they said because the sensor is not sold separately. I checked with Lordco, they said hub is hub, sensor is sensor. I don't know who is right, but I have to get my car fixed. So I agree to replace the whole hub with sensor, but I asked them to keep all my old parts. I want to see them and keep them. When my wife picked up the car, the only thing she got is a sensor. 2 stars is for the car got fixed. Missing 3 stars is for missing of transparency. Recommend or not, you make the call.

When John owned this shop it was a good shop. I brought my car into their shop hoping to get the same great service I received from John. This was not so, the deal was I supplied the parts needed to do the work on my car and they supplied the labor. I checked all the parts before taking in my car. They were all correct. When they started to work on my car, they said one of the parts was not correct. I found this odd as I checked all the parts and found them to be correct. They charged me for a new part, which I agreed to over the phone just to get the car done as I was in a bind without the car, but when I picked my car up, the part which they said was wrong, was not the part I dropped off. It was in a different box all dog eared and old looking and the manufacturer and type was totally wrong. I thought about it for a second and thought what are these guys trying to pull but didn't have the time to get into it as I was stuck for my car so I decided that I would say nothing, paid the bill and left. Gave a bad feeling that I had been ripped off, so I will not go back there again. I want to be clear I am not accusing them of anything, but to me it just didn't feel right. On the other hand the work they did seems to be done OK as the car is still running.

Had both an engine oil and transmission fluid change for a little less than $300 which I think is very good value...it was a special advertised in Peace Arch news. Another garage in the vicinity also advertise specials but in the past left messages which were never returned! White Rock automotive are right on the ball getting back to you but usually Alex picks up the phone right away. Alex the front end person is great. She kept me informed and the vehicle was ready within 4 hours. My second time going there. I think it's great value and hope they continue to provide reasonably priced work. I particularly like there's not the usual call telling you you need extra things done etc etc.

Left my car over night thinking thet can fix it, but it get worse because my car won't revrerse and the person I talked to said it was not reversing qhen it get there. If it wasn't reversing how can I back up on a parallel parking and to take my car to their shop. Regret that we been going to this shop. We paid extra for nothing or for getting my car worse. I noticed a discount coupon in our local paper for an oil and filter change. I made an appointment and was advised it would take about 1 hour. The staff we're very friendly and very well organized for my safety in regard to covid regulations . Technician George worked on my car and I was very pleased that he also checked over my brakes, tires, lights, fluids, various belts, steering and suspension, and found them all to be in good condition. They kept my car for 8 days. Dropped it off on a Monday night. Told they would look at it Tuesday. I called Tuesday afternoon, they didn't. Ok, Wednesday for sure. Nope. Didn't look at it Wedbesday. Finally looked at it Thursday. Told ne what's wrong, but I had already told them what I needed. Will be ready Friday. Great. Didn't gear back. I called Friday pm, nope won't be ready till Monday. Reminded them it was a long weekend, so Tuesday they said. Ok great. I called Tuesday at lunch time, nope, won't be ready till Wednesday. Is this normal??? Then when they told me it was ready, they said I needed new windshield bumper blades, which I knew, and have at home to put on. Said they could do it for 10 dollars a blade. Like seriously? I just spent 1400 to get my car fixed, and you couldn't just put some wiper blades on out of courtesy and for good business? Won't be going back.

Good recommend local shop, had a brake squeal went to couple shops they all wanted to replace pads and rotors, i went on a road test with one of the techs, and they knew right away how to fix the problem, it only cost me $62 to fix my squeal, saved loads of money thanks white rock auto

But they managed to find an issue with the vehicle that would have cost us $$$. If we had gone ahead with the purchase. They were very efficient, professional and polite. White Rock Automotive Services performed Provincial Inspections and replaced the windshields on both of our vehicles. They did a great job! We appreciated the company's ability to conduct the inspections and the windshield replacements in a timely manner. It has been several months since the windshields were replaced and we have had no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend them.

Do not recommend. Brought my car to the workshop to diagnose and fix the suspension rattling noice. Got the call from the owner later who told me that they need to replace both front sway bar links. The quote for the whole job including diagnostic and replacement was $616.This price included the price for the both links $414!!!( The owner said that it was the price for the medium grade parts) At that time I didn't know what the sway bar link was. I thought it was something major and therefore pricy. So I agreed to pay. Later on I checked the price at Canadian Tire and Lordco. They quoted the medium grade certified links at $107 and $109 accordingly. Also I checked the price for the parts and the job at the next door automotive service and got a quote for the parts at $164 with total price for the job at $318, not $616!!. The links were overpriced at least by $250!! I brought this info to the Whiterock Automotive owner's attention and asked him to install the reasonable priced parts on my car. However he refused because "he could not return the parts already installed". I have a strong feeling that this workshop makes money on spare parts big time.

This shop has the worst customer service i have ever experienced. I brought my car in for servicing because it smelled like there was a gas leak. A day after they “fixed” it, it broke down (which is has never done before). After bringing it back for them to review they said everything was fine. The next day it started sputtering like the engine was going to fail and the smell of gas began to fill my car so much (with my kids inside) that we all started to choke and had to roll the windows down till we could get somewhere safe to pull over. The car had fuel pouring out of it you could see it all Over the road and dripping from underneath the car. After it was towed to the shop and repaired I was told I would have to figure out how to get the car, when it was back there because of their error. No apology for putting my children and me at risk. No effort to make up for the extreme inconvenience of being stranded without a car, two children and no ability to pick the car up. The lack of ownership of their mistakes is unbelievable and I would never recommend anyone get their car serviced there.
