I booked my vehicle in for a wiring issue to my headlights. I do know from past experience when it comes to locating a wiring problem it can take anywhere from 5 min to 5 hrs. Basically, you are at the mercy of the technician’s skill set and experience. Too my pleasant surprise I was charged 1hr labor for the diagnosing and repair… A big thank you to the Team at Cap and Marine Service…

It is hard to find reliable mechanics these days but the folks at Cap and Marine fit the bill. There have been a couple of occasions when my car has been looking at real trouble and the Cap and Marine people have gotten me through it in a reliable and cost effective way. They seem expert at fixing what needs fixing; and letting you know what will need fixing next time. I highly recommend the crew at NAPA Cap and Marine.

I originally brought my car in because of a strange rattling noise I'd hear when driving. And after leaving the car with them for about an hour, they brought me into the garage and showed me exactly what they've done, and what they felt were alarming. As for the rattling issue, they fixed it, explained what caused it, and did it at no charge since it was such a small issue. They did however, discover that my brakes were dangerously low (I was literally at Mr. lube last week and they assured me I had 60% left) and instead of just telling me, they wanted to show me and educate me on how it all works. I really appreciated it. They offered same day service at a great price! Thank you Meb and Dil (or was it Dhil.. sorry if I misspelled!), you guys are fantastic!

This auto clinic makes life easy. I have been going here (on my way to work on the North Shore) from downtown Vancouver whenever I have a problem with my car -- even though my brother has a garage in Coquitlam! They never make me wait long, and they are always polite and respectful. I never ever feel like they are ripping me off -- that is important for anyone especially a woman! And I can drive away, safely and happily. Five stars, highly recommended!

This place offers super service. I started going there because it was close to my residence. Now that I have moved to the other side of North Shore, I still use their excellent services. Over the years, I have become convinced that finding a better place for repairs and servicing of our three vehicles is virtually impossible. If you are looking for honest, expert, reliable and cheerful service, this is place to go.

Such a shame. Spent 220 dollars to tow my car there, and the receptionist didn’t want to help me out. He established a price, and didn’t actually explained why would be that price. Besides being rude to me I had to pay extra 120 bucks to tow my car to a different mechanic. Don’t want to complain about the service, since I didn’t do it there; however, I won’t trust in a place where employees don’t want to give any satisfaction to its customer.

Great team, friendly and quick service. You can't go wrong here for pretty much anything car related. I use them for checking out used cars I'm buying and they've saved me thousands in things I might have missed otherwise. Some car guys like me don't like going to "chain shops" but these guys are really like your local garage than a chain shop. Two thumbs up.

Had my car fixed in a garage over in Nakusp, cost me alot of money, 2 months later started having issue with it. Took it to these guys, they diagnosed all the issues, all caused by the previous garage, they got all the work redone and told me what had been done by the previous place wasn't correct, so all the work was covered on the warranty. Matt was awesome, communication was great, and I felt I could fully trust what I was being told. The work was done within a day of leaving the car with them.

Worst experience ever!! I also purchased a $100 service package. Took my truck in for an oil change and was told they would also do a 40 point inspection. Meb, the owner called me and said I needed new brakes and battery which I declined. Picked up vehicle and ended up paying more for an oil change than I regularly pay. Got home and looked at receipt which recommended brakes, battery and lug nuts. Looked at lug nuts and all but one were completely stripped. Returned the next day and he told me they were damaged before he took them off and that a 22 mm wouldn’t fit so he had to use a 23mm. It’s a Dodge which has a 7/8” lug nut which is 22.25mm. He refused to do any further work on it. Left a bad review on FB and received a call from Napa Auto customer service. Explained what happened which he barely listened to and was told my review could be considered slander and suggested I retract or revise it. He then posted a response on FB that I have left several other bad service reviews and that Napa Auto is rated Number One in customer service by JD Power year after year. I have left only one other bad review and looked up the rating on JD Power and Napa Auto hasn’t been number one for the last 2 years. In my opinion Napa Auto at Cap & Marine costs more and tries to sell you work not required. Buyer BEWARE!

Took my truck in to fix an exhaust leak near the cat, the customer service was very good. However, disappointed in the quality of the repair and cost. After driving the truck for a week, noticed the leak again. Crawled under and same spot. Took it to a different shop, they pointed it out right away the welder at napa just welded over the rust without prepping the surface which therefore effected the penetration. Muffler Man came to the rescue and rewelded the area and 6 months later still no leaks. Napa charged $116 for one weld, Muffler man did the job right and charged $25 for the weld. I would have brought it back to Napa however after seeing the quality of the welds i just figured better to go somewhere more experienced in welding.

What a joke, I called on Monday because I needed an oil change, no one calls back. So Thursday I call again, I told them I left a message and never received a call back. He didn't care. So I asked what the call back policy is, he tells me there is no call back policy, I'm the owner. Apparently he has more than enough business to care about mine.

TRUSTWORTHY AND ACCOMMODATING SERVICE WITH A SMILE. If you need a car guy in the city, or just looking for good company to take out for a drink, I can’t say enough about Meb! He and his crew were incredibly lovely to deal with when I need some short-notice maintenance work done on my car when passing through the city. As a young woman, I am always apprehensive when taking my car to someone other than my regular guy in Ontario- I have had my fair share of shops trying to make an extra couple of bucks off of a “girl who doesn’t know anything about cars” - but Meb was very straight forward about what my car “needed”/“didn’t need”/“could use soon” which made things so much easier. He got me in the same day, and finished under a tight timeline to catch my ferry! 5 star shop, 10 star service.

On our way back to Coquitlam the transmission on our 2016 town & country van litterally packed it in right in front of Meb's shop. (Sunday afternoon, thanksgiving long weekend) Fortunately one of the mechanics was there working on his own car. He took the time to talk to me, told me where to park the van, where to leave the keys and how to get a hold of the shop owner. Very professional attitude. Tuesday morning I called the shop owner Meb who was on our vehicle right away... Thursday afternoon, after a full transmission rebuild, we're picking up the van and back on the road again. Napa Auto & Marine I highly recommend. The high quality customer care exceeded my expectations. Meb completely took care of all our extended warranty issues. If you live on the north shore you are fortunate to have this shop in your neighbourhood...if you don't, they are worth the drive.

The gentleman told me to have her bring it down and they would take a look at it. They got her right in and figured out the code and took care of it. I can’t thank them enough for helping her. I brought my car there for an inspection, the guy called me and tried to peretend there is a very severe problem in my car and I have to act immidiately. Then he gave a crazy quote for repair. I did not trust him and had my car checked by some other mechanics and I found out he were just trying to scam me. Do not go there.
