Was told I needed new coils and struts...got a second opinion, guess what??? Only needed a coil. Saved $600!!! I'm never going back. Don't trust them!! Worst place to bring your car!!!

I got new rims and snow tires installed here. Good friendly service in a reasonable time. The only thing that annoyed me was having to wait unreasonably long while the guy behind the counter bantered on and on with the customer couple ahead of me. While I appreciate staff that take time to have a conversation, they should also be sensitive to other customers waiting in line. Eventually, a lady showed up behind the counter and helped me to settle my bill so I could be on my way. So while I think there's room for improvement in customer service here, I'd still go there again and would recommend the business to others.

Very bad...alignment should have fixed my vehicles leaning to side to side but didn't...was good after first visit for a couple days...and then back to same leaning side to side....changed tires front from right to left and left to right still no difference... and 3rd visit with out putting on the alignment machine told me that if they redid it that it would go out of spec....but to check if it was out of spec or still in spec would have told them to do or not redo it. And trusted mechanic opinion when I went to 3 other mechanics... 100 bucks down the drain and I still have leaning to side to side.

Bad experience. Went back 3 times to have tires rebalanced. Paid twice. They couldn't balance the tires to not wobble. Switched back to older tires and still they could not rebalance. If your tires wobble or vibrate after its most likely their quality in balancing. Also package included alignment check and front suspension check. They did not test the alignment or let me know of torn control arm bushings on my car

Flat tire after work. Work in Waterloo but live two towns over. Arrive fifteen minutes before closing. Would not help. A service station's best time to shine is to help someone in an emergency situation. They chose not to. ** EDIT ** Never too late to fix a grievous error and apologise for it. Checked in for a tire and oil change. All was going as planned until they found a additional problem. They tried to complete the job by end of day but with the new issue, could not. They offered me there loner vehicle for my appointments next day. All was very much appreciated. They felt quite bad that it wasn't ready as promised. I had a flat which was worryingly close to the tire shoulder and I know it could not be plugged. After putting on the donut, I took it into Tirecraft right at opening and the expert behind the counter (I mean that in all seriousness, 30+ years in the business) informed me that they would dismount the tire and evaluate it. In a jiffy they confirmed that a patch should hold, and while my daughter was busy coloring in their well stocked kids area, the tire was patched, installed on the vehicle, and the spare tidily put back in the trunk. Amazing service with knowledgeable folks. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing service or tires.

I went to them with my vehicle after taking it to Canadian tire to be safetied - their experience was far outranking the people at Canadian Tire and when they looked at my car, they told me that for a vehicle of my age and kilometers, my car was in great shape and had no problem re- safetying it - where as Canadian tire wanted me to get $2k in repairs done on the axle. I have driven the car from Ottawa and back a few times now and it has been perfectly fine. So glad I went to Tirecraft Waterloo after my friend Sarah Brnjas told me off for going to Canadian Tore first before TW.

Both Spring and Fall are very busy seasons for tire changes so time for your service may slow slightly , but that's with EVERY tire shop. At least with Tire Craft Waterloo I have always been given a pickup time that's not yet been missed! All the service advisors ( JayJ, Andrea , Billy & Udo ) are fantastic to deal with , without trying to fool you into more expensive tires or service than you need. I've been around Automotive and aftermarket automotive my entire life , dealing with Jay at the front desk is a breath of fresh air as he truly understands wheel and tire fitment like nobody else around . Also, if they can't do something in the time you need , THEY WILL TELL YOU!! Rather than making false statements witch will end in your frustrations. HONESTY, goes a long long way! 10/10 would recommend

Bought winter tires. Prices very competitive. Got this year's improved Michelin's for cheaper than Costco's last year's model. Service was top-notch even with Covid protocols in place.

I went here to install the new tires to my winter rims. When the technician there drive my car into the shop, he hit other tires beside the door, which caused scratch on the bumper. At first I am not worried, bad things happened, no one can avoid it. But you need a positive attitude to deal with it, and most importantly honest!!! The manager there confess it’s his man hit the tire, but he refused to confess the scratch was made by them. He said it is an old scratch. Which made me very very angry. I argued with them. He compromised, asked me to go to dealership to make a quote about the repair fee. I will go to Acura dealership to make a quote on Monday morning. Besides do you think I don’t know that you asked some guy to make the polish on that part? I will ask Acura technician to check the thickness of the paint. I will see how things goes. I keep the right to post the voice record and other proof’s link here. Updated OTC 4,2018 As we all can see in the reply we can clearly find that the manager here is very sneaky. 1: Until now, I have not received any apology from any people.(I can’t accept an apology from google review reply) 2: if an incident happened, the first thing need to do is telling your customer and discuss a solution both can agree with. You can’t just clean the mess up and polish my car without my permission! It is not your car!!! 3:the manager still denied they caused the scratch. If there is only some red color, just need to clean it, why you buffed and polished my car. You can explain about that to everyone who can see the review. 4: I want to say some details about the whole thing. At first the technician there just use cleanser to clean the red and black color. When they asked to pay, there are a lot of scratch there. I argued with them, and give the key to the manager refused to take over my car. And started make voice record, then the manager asked a guy from another body shop and polished on the bumper without my permission. When he come back, he said like this:” hey, good news! My friend took a look at that, and it’s good as new” 4: I do went to collision companie(don’t know why you know that, you can explain to everyone), they said you guys polished it very well. Strongly suggest me not to repaint, because the original paint is the best. I accept their opinion. But there are still some very small dents. An Remind to all people: When you go to here, you have to watch them, if any incident happen, they will not tell you.

I needed my rear brake rotors and pads replaced and couldn't get the rotor screw off (needed $50 impact screwdriver and it's winter). Took it in to this shop after looking up how the parts were $100 online. I also asked for an general inspection ($50) over the car. When they gave me a call for a quote, it was $200 parts, and 1.5 hrs to do rear brakes ($180 labour), plus inspection/taxes. Double the cost for parts, and 1.5 hours to take some nuts off a caliper after you took the tires off for an inspection? I could do the job in 1 hr in a parking lot in winter with an impact screwdriver. They did a good job, charged a high rate, and took their time. $530 job for what I expected was $350 on the high end!

I still compare from time to time (every 3-4 years), and they always come up with very honest prices, genuinely required repairs and --excellent-- counseling. They know everything about tires. My family and I have been dealing with Udo and his team for 20 years. Service is excellent. I always recommend this location to my friends whenever they discuss having to get new tires. When Tirecraft purchased Tireco, I was concerned that a leadership change may alter the personality and level of service of this location. Thank goodness that did not happen. Our first experience with them occurred in the 90’s when they were on Davenport and Northfield. My family and I were going on a trip and needed some emergency tire work done. The response was great then, and, still is today. It is nice to go to a place ‘where everyone knows your name’.

I have known Udo for 40 years and have done business with him for about 30 years. I have always had great experiences when dealing with him for tires as well as general vehicle repair. I have never done a review before but decided to do so after a recent appointment with Tirecraft. We have been using Tirecraft for many years. We have purchased several sets of tires and had seasonal tire switchovers for many years. Every time I have been given competent, friendly service at a fair price. Even though it costs me money every time I go I look forward to seeing Udo , Andrea and their team.

I have been coming to the Waterloo Tirecraft for close to a decade if not more. Their work has been exemplary and they have gained my trust and respect. Although I had been dealing with Udo alone at first I now feel totally comfortable with Andrea, Jay and Billy. They have always been pleasant and they do not overstate the time it takes to do the job. They always explain what has to be done and what if any other issues may come up at the same time depending upon what is being repaired. I am particularly thankful for them being able to fix my car the same day as sometimes I have not given much notice. I realize they are busy and can't always do it but they always rise to the challenge. Laughter is the best medicine and there is plenty here! Bottom line it's a great place to repair your vehicle and it's the people that keep me coming back! I would be remiss if I didn't provide a shout out to the crew that actually does the repairs! Great place to get tires. Staff are friendly and have been there for ages. This is a good sign if you ask me. They won't do anything without making sure it's okay with you, prices are good (for tires - I don't get car work done here so I don't know about other stuff), and they can give you a ride if you need it. If I didn't already have a trusted mechanic, I'd be comfortable taking my car here.

This is our first season with Udo and his team. The front desk people are personable and knowledgeable. I was late booking out winter changeover but they found a way around that. The shop guys are helpful and friendly. Coming here after leaving the place we dealt at 25 years who moved to the other end of town. Tried it for a couple of years but it was time. Udo knew it was a big change for us and went out of his way to make us feel at home. Looking forward to another 25 year relationship. Thank you

Terrible I show up for a alignment, My rims get badly damaged and they are trying to recommend parts the car doesn't need for a rear alignment, as simple as a tie rod adjustment, I am a apprentice mechanic and the level of incompetence was disgusting I refused to pay for the work and they happily obliged
