One star for sales, 5 stars for parts. Shopping for a Mercury outboard, Smiths RV did not have in stock, North Country did. Went in to speak with Claudio, He said the outboard still needed to be PDI'd. He then indicated that there was an additional cost of $95.00 for PDI, and a $20.00 admin fee. He was treating me like I was born yesterday. I mentioned that Smith's was offering a 5 year warranty (manufacturer offer), and he said it came with a 3 year warranty, but he's look into an extended warranty. I went back to Smith's RV and ordered the outboard from them; which took 2 weeks to get in, but at least I wasn't getting hosed an additional $120.00. Very poor sales tactic; I would have walked out of there with an outboard if he had not tried to take advantage me. This is the second outboard I've purchased from Smith's RV in 5 years, and they are excellent to deal with in sales, unlike this place. The parts department here however is very good.

I could not find a nut for a Quadrunner J&J had to order it and it was a month out north Cycle City in Your Country Sports ordered it within had it within 2 days and it was only ten bucks and J&J wanted $30 for the same nut

well I bought 2 450 quads cash, then traded them in with under 20 hours each for side by side 570 rzr they said 2300 difference then oh roof don't come with it, well ok will finish this deal but in future go else where guess they don't respect clients or want clients that buy every 6 months will try j&j next round feel ripped over but all good they lost a long term yearly customer had to fight to get even deal that was offered!! and to think I was gonna buy a boat and trailer as well that day their loss!! and blemish on hood sales man said be fixed will wait and see! other wise might be matter for the courts!

“I brought a boat motor in for repair because I couldnt figure out the issue with it. Even though I worked on the motor myself the service team were happy to offer their expert advice to repair this particular motor. They were happy to help ” I love this place so two years have passed, I sold the motor that was worked on and when the buyer tried to get it started it would not. The motor was brought back to me where the money was cheerfully refunded. The motor went to another shop and it needed a carb cleaning. The motor was not worked on at north country but I was charged over 500.00. I will never go back to North country.
