I knew I needed brakes done on my car and my cousin Daryl Dawson suggested Garry's so I gave them a try. When I arrived I was greeted by Ian and he suggested the fall service special to thoroughly go through the vehicles mechanicals and have it prepared for our harsh winter. They found problems, which I was certain they would which makes me hesitant to go to the mechanic in the first place. Normally I do work on my own vehicles to save money, however, many of these jobs take time and yes special tools and working under a car on the ground is no fun so I took a chance to see how they treated me. I got a phone call back and I received the news of all the dreaded problems that they found and it was extensive, however, I understand the mechanical aspects of vehicles and understood that their diagnosis was bang on. They had the parts and the job was done the same day and the price was fair. When I picked up the car and drove it home I had to take a tour of our city because I felt I was in a new car! The car was so smooth and responsive and seemed peppier than ever. I called Ian back and asked if he could put tires on my mini van... fair price again. Two for two. Super happy! It is an awful feeling when your car breaks down and your at the mercy of a mechanic and you feel intimidated and vulnerable. It is difficult to find reliable service especially if your ignorant on the mechanical operations of your vehicle. Be rest assured, Ian and his team at Garry's Automotive have your best interest in mind. Note

We just recently got back from a trip we took to Northern Ontario, and while we were on our 67 hour round trip, our vehicle ran into issues. We had a broken pulley and I knew parts would be in short supply because it was a Mercedes Benz. I stopped by Garry's Automotive, Ian went above and beyond what he needed to serve us. It was God's grace that we met Ian and that he was able to fix our vehicle and get us back on the road. He even went the extra mile to drive me to and from the hotel we were staying at in Thunder Bay. When I was riding with Ian he shared with me a statement which most accurately describes this establishment. I asked him, "Why he chose to own his own business?" and he said to me that he was tired to seeing people get ripped off and wanted to be a part of giving good quality work and not charge and arm and a leg. Honestly, this is exactly what he did and I am assured he will do the same for you as well. I wish I could give this place of business a 6 star review, because they went above and beyond what was necessary of them. Thank you, Ian! Cannot thank you enough!

Mounted new tires to new wheels, alignment, balance, and a front CV bushing replacement, all completed cheaper and faster than anywhere else in town qouted me. Was open and honest about the job and final price was as quoted. Even stayed open late to allow me to get my vehicle after work. Would definitely use this shop again.
