I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at a dealership where I've had my car serviced but I have to say I definitely know I've never had a BETTER one than I had today at Hyundai on Montrose Road in Niagara Falls. I definitely understand why it is voted #1 in Canada! I made a call last week to get one of my services done that is part of my leasing package and wanted to make sure I could bring my car here as I had moved from Oakville last summer and had taken it back there once since. Kayla had checked into this for me and assured me that it was okay to bring it to them which was a great relief as it's only a few minutes away! She was a pleasure to speak with on the phone. When I arrived, I met Sheri at the front desk in the showroom whom I had called to mention I'd be late and she was very polite on the phone. (I hope I spelled her name right... there's three of these ladies here with the same name!) Karen was my Service Advisor that took care of me upon arrival, also a great pleasure to deal with and then I was introduced to Jane and met Tina as well! Honestly these women are like one big family and I felt very welcome! I was offered a shuttle by the driver Al and I was also quite impressed with him. Such a nice gentleman to speak with. I'd love to thank the mechanic personally who did the work on my car so I hope someone will let him know on my behalf. Also thank you to the person that cleaned my car mats. Just upgraded my current vehicle to 2021 Elantra Sedan IVT. Handling of the new vehicle is marvelous, and acceleration and 'smoothness' of operation is greatly improved over my 2015 Elantra (current vehicle). It feels fantastic just taking it for a quick spin on the road, even in winter. Hyundai has definitely kicked it up a notch when it comes to the new Elantra. Working with AutoValue staff is a really satisfying experience, and Erin Smith, who demonstrated the operation and answered my questions regarding the new vehicle provided me with everything I needed to know to feel both comfortable and excited with my new purchase.

I had a very pleasant dealing with the Service and Parts departments here at AutoValue Hyundai. I'm not from the area but was trying to source a hitch for my 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT N-Line. Looking at some forums led me to AutoValue Hyundai, as there's nothing available for Korean made one aftermarket, so I reached out for a parts quote I dealt with Jason, the Parts Manager here, through email correspondence, for about a week, despite technical issues that got in the way. Jason gave me options about how to attain the one last remaining hitch he had available for my car. I ultimately decided to have the dealership do the install, as mechanically inclined as I am, I wasn't aware where mounting points would be and such, and for the little extra cost it wasn't my issue. So we discussed availability, and to my surprise, they were open on a Sat afternoon, even to add to that, they had availability to install today, after discussing the option yesterday. Kudos to the team at AutoValue Hyundai. I will definitely be back if I need certain things done.

After a somewhat frustrating experience with the "other" dealership in Niagara, I took our 2014 Elantra to Autovalue Hyundai for resolution of an extended warranty issue. I was left extremely impressed with the entire service team, and in particular the service advisor, Cheyanne. I am very happy with the service that I received at AutoValue Hyundai. This is the same dealership that I purchased my Elantra from 5 years ago. Within a couple seconds that I walked into the service department, I was greeted and then spoken to by Tina K. Tina is very professional and explained everything to me. I left my vehicle with the dealership for 2 days and felt at ease that they were taking good care of my vehicle. Tina stated that she will call me in a day to update me and she did. I inquired about a courtesy vehicle and did receive a brand new Elantra to use. I work in a similar field and believe that you should treat other peoples' vehicles as if they were your own. I do see that here at AutoValue Hyundai. When I picked up my car, Tina, with the same professional manner, did what ever she could to have things right. My wife and I both got new to us cars, (Santa Fe, and Tucson), unforuantly we were promised something would be fixed on my wife's car when we agreed to purchase it, and after we purchased it we were later told that was not possible unless we wanted to pay for half of the repair. I originally purchased my 2015 sonata at Hamilton Hyundai. It was a horrible experiance. I left vowing I would never again buy a new car. I was put through the wringer as a female and was offered no help. Basically charge her everything because she doesn't know anything. Well. Fast forward 6 years later a friend told me not to give up. He has a friend at the niagara hyundai. Talk about a change and a breath of fresh air. Totally stress free and beat out every estimate in all of ontario plus some!! The staff was very accommodating and supportive, they will be my go to dealer forever. David, Colin and Chase were amazing human beings and really showed such high standards of care. 10/10 After the loss of my father inlaw they made it possible for me to suprise my husband with the car he's wanted it really helped him during a hard time and something to look forward to.

Needed new brake lines, took the car in on Thursday, they tell me Saturday that the lines didnt come in, and It wont be until Tuesday, I asked for a loan car, they said there isnt any. Asked for a rental and they said we would have to pay for that. The parts taking 6 days is their problem and they should of happily given us a car or found one for us. Oh and this is after they tried to tell me my car needed 1200$ worth of work. The same stuff they green lighted 1 month earler. This place is a joke. DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND LEAVE YOU WITHOUT A CAR....SMH

I recently brought a brand new Elantra from Auto value Hyuandai Niagara Falls on November 3 2021 and from the 1 week itself there was some technical issues such as Car Play won’t connect and screen comes and goes randomly. I took my car to the showroom and it was a terrible experience which I got from there.I also complained about sounds of viper and huge noises inside the car while driving through highway and they told me that it is normal for speed above 100km/per hour but it was also heard in 60 and 70 km/ hr speed.Finally they told me that they could replace the entire CarPlay system and screen as soon as it is available.You must think it is a brand new car with various issues.The customer service experience was terrible on that day.Yesterday I was off to Job and suddenly the car headlights went out along with the car display system.moreover loud noises coming from the speaker.I was not able park the car since steering was freezed along with everything thing in the car.I am lucky enough to survive that situation and it was the most remarkable minutes in my entire life which would have ended with my life. later I some how parked my car in a ground and called for the tow service. I dropped my car along with the key at the showroom in the night. Today morning I got a text message from Hyuandai in Niagara Falls that my car is ready. I went to showroom and a lady came to me saying everything thing is perfect in your car. Slightly we like to change the viper blades, sound system, Car Play, and ordered for a new headlight set. Such a small changes is it.The lady even gave me great tip to avoid future issues as I faced yesterday switch of the lane assist and put head lights on manual to avoid such problems. Use the sound system to avoid noises inside and due the viper. Wonderful ideas from customer service. It was the worst experience from a dealership in my life and I personally recommend people and my friends to avoid Auto value Hyuandai Niagara Falls. They are terrible. No one would ensue the safety that the vehicle is good and no more issues will not occur. I told them I wouldn’t drive that car anymore unless you solve all the issues or replace the car. They give me an option to drop off the car till the the issues are sorted out and I asked for an alternate vehicle for my use, they told me they don’t have a spare vehicle and they would help me to get a rent a car at my own expenses till the car is corrected. Such a kind hearted people in Hyuandai I was moved by there love towards me. I am a person who brought a new car from Hyuandai which is less than three weeks old and it has some serious issues and even though they didn’t care about the customer. They didn’t care for the lives of there customer . Such a worst leadership and customer service was terrible. Finally I took the car at my own risk drove home and after some time screen went dark. If any thing happens to me while driving this car Autovalue Niagara falls is responsible for it including the service manager, Noah and Steve finance manager who cheated me by provide a faulty vehicle.

Auto Value have certainly met its standards. Everyone treated us with respect and with extraordinary customer service. I called and spoke with David and he was all about this. All the staff I met while going through the process were very pleasant and thoughtful. They were always one step ahead. When my wife and I saw the Santa Fe, there were some minor scuffs, little damage to the rear bumper, and a door which had dropped. When I asked if this could be fixed there was no hesitation! When I went to pick it up I was not really impressed at the work so it was revisited and corrected 100%. They went from a three star to a five star pretty fast! Customer service was horrible after it was reported in their survey to the problems that arose when they had my car I was told the manager would be contacted and then I would be contacted back. It’s been well over 45 days and that is yet to happen. I then sent an email directly to the manager and he did not respond nor even acknowledge that he received my email. I then contacted Hyundai Canada and they told me that someone would contact me and that’s been over 12 days. When they say their customers come first it’s not an accurate statement.

The worst experience I ever had in Canada. We went to ask for a specific used car, the salesperson told us, that the car was already sold. We browse the car and still on their web page, the salesperson told us that the web page was not updated, that the best thing is to do was to choose a new car, during all this time the only thing we wanted was to find out if we had a pre-approval so then we could make a decision. (No one told us inside the agency ) that in Canada you can not have a pre-approval, so we followed the instructions from everyone in the agency. Two hours and a half later they said we were approved and congrats on the new car. We were in shock since we never picked the color, model, etc.. of the car. We just wanted to find out if we were able to purchase a car. The finance manager was the rudest and impolite person I have met in my life, he was rude to my kid and my wife a couple of times. He never allowed us to read the contract, always under pressure and hurry to sign documents. When you have the right to read before sign anything. So making this version short and quick is the worst experience of customer service, the worst agency I have been in my entire life. In the end, they push all the time to give them a 5 start in Google and perfect 10 on the Hyundai survey ( this was mention at least 25 times during our visits to the dealer.)

In general, it was a nice purchase experience. I visited Hyundai a couple of months before buying my new car because I was not sure about it. Then, Mark D’Anna, the sales representative, was very helpful. We drove around while he showed me the features of the car, and was patient enough with all my questions. He did not push me for buying the car, he is not the typical salesman and that's why I decide to buy my car at Hyundai. Beyond poor customer service. Anytime the car goes in for service the locking wheel but key goes missing. They deny touching it every time. Finally agreed to change them sent a confirmation email as to what was to be done. 2 months later got a flat and went to change it and nope this was not corrected. When called to complain the smoke and mirrors and everyone else’s problem. Will never return. Now I know why the turn over rate is high. Edit: after writing this review the manager that pretty much told me that this was my problem and mistakes happen quickly changed his tune. He got the car right in to change the nuts. Even offered to pick it up from place of work and replaced to socket we broke trying to get the tire off. Maybe he realized he was wrong.

"Outstanding Customer Service " I took my car in for it's regular service - upon completing the service they found some issues. Jane called me prior to any further work being done. She explained in thorough work that she recommended to be done. Jane also noticed an issue with my rims and went out of her way to contact Hyundai about getting 2 of them replaced under warranty (A warranty that I did not know existed and had plans to pay to be replaced). She was exceptional at keeping me updated with the status of the claim, getting my car back into the shop and getting them replaced. The shuttle is always available without any delays and he is very welcoming! ... and free car washes!! I will admit, I do miss the smarties after being serviced! Overall: Amazing Customer Service and a great place to deal with.

I was so surprised it digital world, why he did not check with the system and dealership. Anyways i was so mad and phoned AutoValue Hyundua, Lucky receptionist transfer my call and service advisor was "KAREN ARANGO". She replied polity that no worries we will do what we can, please let me check the detail 1st. Than whole week , every day she phoned and updated me. Starting i told her i have planned to visit Niagara and i want to visit the dealership. she remembered and on Friday she phoned and told , sir we did not get the proper detail yet but you are welcome to visit. Saturday, i visited with my wife and 2 kids. She was waiting for me. After 30-Minutes she told sir your issue is fixed. I was so surprised and happy. At the end she gave smarties to my kids which they love and want to go again...lol. when i sat on my car and saw there were a note on my rear view mirror" thanks for visiting and please adjust your settings" and also one smarties in my car. I was so shocked for all things. I never see such a nice customer services. Brampton dealership they just harassed and terrified me. I want to request the management, please, please send "KAREN ARANGO" to Brampton dealrship for few week to give training Brampton worker. Went there today to inquiry about wait times for new cars. After paging a sales person twice because they couldn’t be bothered to talk to me. When asked about inventory on new cars, was literally laugh at by Chris, a loud big laugh, who also responded with “a very long time” when I asked what the estimate wait time was. After processing this horrible experience I called to offer a learning opportunity to the sales team on how not to treat potential female buyers, Chase called me back only to make excuses for they awful behaviour and question my experience. He said that maybe it wasn’t intentional, Like, who laughs that way unintentionally? And they were busy that’s why they took time to see me. They were not, a group of 5-6 sales people were talking to each other and having what looked like a casual conversation. They looked at me like trying to decide who had lost the bet and will come talk to me. The whole experience felt like a comedic movie where the stereotypical high school jocks are portrayed. I drove off the the St Catharines dealership where a sales person greeted me within 30 seconds of walking in, they showed me their different options and even printed a table with the expected delivery times for the vehicles I’m interested on. Guess where I will be making my purchase?

I’m retracting my 5 star review as this dealership put me into a horrible situation. Yes they are kind and fast at delivery when you are buying your car. But shortly after I bought my car, there was an accident. I was completely not at fault for a total loss, and my brand new car from them was destroyed by a drunk driver while I was at work. My financing was IN HOUSE, you would think that when you go to purchase my replacement car from them, everything about the finance part of things would be taken care of by the finance manager but that was NOT the case. The finance manager, Steve did not roll my previous loan with Hyundai financing that still had some money owing on it from an old car (also with Hyundai financing) when I purchased my replacement car. Gap insurance covered the rest of the 2020 that was in the accident, but I still owed money from my old Cruze rolled into the 2020 loan. They had told me, (I’m just a customer that does not know these things, he didn’t bother to tell me) that this was my responsibility to tell them to roll the previous loan into the old one. I thought when someone is providing you a service, that this was their job to take care of everything, not the customer. It should have been obvious. Who would want to be left with two loans? I am now paying TWO loans, one being the old cars FULL payments until the Cruze is payed off and one being the new car I purchased. I am currently now having to take this driver small claims court to try and fix this situation, because had they not hit my car, I would not be in this situation. Hyundai will not work with me in any way, my situation is rare, yes. But this is so unfair what has been done to me by everyone involved. Not to mention, after purchasing a brand new car from them in 2020 and 2021, my car from 2020 had a very low interest rate, and my car from 2021’s interest rate is a bit more than double what it was before. All I’m saying is this is pretty bad service that I have received. I should have went somewhere else to purchase my replacement car. The car is great, but is not worth the stress that this place has put me through.

I just bought my first car here. Definitely wasn't what I was preparing for but you never are for your first time. Everyone was fantastic and went above and beyond. But what made me without a second thought give this place 5 stars flat, was the service I received after I signed. Long story short, I didn't notice the deals I wanted on the final sale. Being pretty much my fault for not reading it properly before signing the dotted line, I was still shown the utmost care. They could of easily told me off, and said I signed so it doesn't matter. No, they took it to the next level and accepted (in my opinion) a better deal then before! I highly recommend this place! I'd also like to personally thank Steve Edwards for making all this happen.

I went in on a Thursday afternoon in June and Michael Speck met us and appeared nice at first. We were very up front that we wanted to test drive the 21 & 22 Tucson's and get ballpark amounts on financing. After test driving both vehicles, we sat down to get some numbers from him. I made it very clear on what I wanted - 2021 Tucson, base model, no add-ons and 84 months financing. Michael came back with the numbers, but on everything I had NOT asked for - 2022, higher end model, tons of add-ons & 96 months. When I told him that none of what he had told me was what I had asked for, not to mention the monthly amount was incredibly high. This was when he suddenly turned very rude, and all but rolled his eyes at us. By the end of the conversation, he threw his business card at us and that's when he begrudgingly told us that there is a huge sale on Sunday and said that "maybe we could afford something then". He also said he would reach out to us on Saturday, but thankfully, I never heard from him. Needless to say, I will NEVER return to this location due to how rude this salesman was to us - no one has the right to talk down to someone who is making a $35,000+ investment. **UPDATE** We went to Performance Hyundai in St. Catharines and they were AMAZING! The entire process from beginning to end was flawless, and they didn't treat you like a dollar sign when you walked in the door. If you're looking for a new Hydunai, I highly recommend buying your car from Performance (skip Autovalue) and ask for Brenden Sutton!

I came in to AutoValue because it was the closest place around when I realized that I had a safety issue with the muffler of my 1998 Toyota Sienna (who I have named Gloria Estevan). I was concerned with my drive back to London and pulled in to see of someone could have a look at what had happened. I was greeted warmly and a mechanic came to take a quick look right away. There was a concern so I left it with them to secure something from underneath, while I waited at the Starbucks. They spent time trying to figure out why our ac would only work while driving and not working while at a red light etc. Told us they needed at least 3 more hours to figure it out . We declined, and when my husband drove the car home, the AC didn't work at all. Called the next day and they pretty well said "oops". My father looked at the car and figured out it needed a fuse. A $0.25 fix that was technically free considering I had extra fuses in the car. We thought taking it to Hyundai dealer would be the best way to go, never again. Purchased a used vehicle on a Thursday. Was told it would be detailed and would be ready to be picked up on the following Monday. Arrived to find out the vehicle was in the exact condition when we test drove it and I assume when the previous owners had traded it in. As I searched through it I came across old children’s toys, crumbs everywhere between seats, melted candies, spilled drinks in the arm rest. A razor blade in the trunk. I make the salesman and the gentleman in finance aware of this who was shocked to see what was pulled out of this vehicle that they were going to let us take off the lot. Not to mention in the middle of a pandemic and nothing was sanitized. Was never offered a loaner but was told they would pick it up. Was also promised an extra fob from the salesman for what he said he was going to make it right and later went back on his word. Spoke to the sales manager about the promised fob and was told it was too expensive to give us one for free but offered another gift certificate for an oil change. Never did get the fob. This dealership dropped the ball in all areas from service sales and finance.

As dealerships go, this one looked like any other that I have visited. they had the Covid-19 safety protocols in effect, they were polite and courteous. They had taken me in for an oil change despite not having made an appointment and not being a regular client, it was my first time there. I went because my brother had just moved to the area and I found my car with the constant highway driving to and from Toronto to Fort Erie racked up the Kilometers that the engine really needed to have the oil changed, at the 6 month mark. Not normal when you drive mostly Electric on a Plug-in hybrid electric vehicle around town. Despite experiencing a small scale power outage, they were very close to how long they were expecting the car to be done. They gave me the option to leave as the car was in the bay but the power failure was just before it went up on the hoist. Jody and the other service advisor were very helpful, and upfront and not trying to up sell me on work that should be done or that by mileage might be worth doing at this time. I appreciate this as the last Hyundai Dealer I went to tried in vain to pull the wool over my eyes and claim that one side of the brake rotors was rusty. They were looking to replace rotors that have easily 100,000km of life at only 60k. Thanks to Jody and her dealership for not being that kind of business. I highly recommend if you live in the area or need one of those last minute oil changes as I did give them a call. I have given them four stars because it would have been nice to have known about the power failure and the option of taking the car, even though I was determined to get it done that day. They did try and tell another customer that their phones were not working and if those phones use a transformer to power the electronics ( paging system ect.) instead of just a phone line in then they were not lying. Might be good to get one phone in the service department that is powered by the bell line only. Rare that bell loses power in a blackout.

Incredible service department! Showed up on a busy Saturday with a tire in need of repair. Not only did they make the time to repair my tire, was able to get oil change done that was scheduled for the following week, rotated my tires, completed alignment and washed my new Venue. All this done in a matter of hours while I was dealing with a family member in hospital. Tina Kennedy knows her stuff and treats her clients with amazing customer service and empathy. The best!

I recently had issues with my 2014 Santa Fe due to a Spring recall that had not been performed by Hyundai Canada (due to massive recall and backlog). While issues had occurred in Collingwood, the local Hyundai dealer did not wish to rectify and I had to have vehicle towed to Niagara Falls Hyundai. Fortunately, service advisor Tina Kennedy looked after me very promptly and had the car taken in immediately upon arrival. She followed up with me and had me back on the road in a few days (Collingwood Hyundai said it would take months to fix!). I'm extremely pleased with the service department at Niagara Falls Hyunda and highly recommend them to all Hyundai drivers. Ask for Tina as she is phenomenal!

Recently walked into AutoValue looking to purchase a new 2018 Elantra. Met with sales rep David Kaluba over multiple days, throughout which time he was both patient and helpful. This was my first ever new car purchase (the biggest purchase of my life thus far), so I took more than a couple of weeks researching and debating things like trim level, colour, etc. Over the last few days of the process, when I needed to know something, I would message David and he would get back to me promptly, and he helped me talk my dad into going for the window tinting, which was great of him. While sitting down at his desk to figure out accessories and finalize the purchase, we actually had a lot of fun and plenty of laughs. Additionally, the rest of the staff were very friendly and warm, joking around with us, and even offering water to make sure I was comfortable. They even took my half-hearted suggestion of having branded water bottles seriously enough to apparently go and do it. Overall a great buying experience thanks to David and everyone else, and more importantly I now own an awesome new car.

I have since referred a number of colleagues, family and friends to Ray and AutoValue and will continue to do so, because of their exceptional level of customer service. They are not a high pressured, up-selling dealership, nor is the staff. That make options available to the customer, but do not pressure you into purchasing vehicle features, service items that you do not need. Tina, in service, is outstanding. She is extremely knowledgeable and provided a level of service that is not common. Recently, I had regular service on my vehicle and Tina communicated with me multiple times the day of service to inform me of the status of my vehicle and that there was a nail found in the wall of my tire. Tina made contact with me to authorize and work needed and did not just proceed without consultation. She is has a affable demeanour, which compliments Ray's patient, accommodating approach. Erin is sales is also extremely patient, knowledgeable and accommodating. You absolutely cannot go wrong with purchasing a vehicle from AutoValue Hyundai. Five Star Service I would like to extend an unreserved and huge thank you to all the staff in AutoValue’s service department. In this case, it was Jane the service advisor and Dave the shop manager who teamed up to tackle and resolve a very frustrating, challenging and recurring issue with my brand new car. After just three weeks the car was constantly pulling to the left while driving. .After repeated wheel alignments and checks the car continued to act in the same manner. During the last service visit, Jane reassured and kept me informed as to everything they were doing to solve this problem while Dave was going through all the checks with Murdoch-like detective skills. After a couple of hours of thorough investigation he asked that I drive the car and not use my remote starter for a couple of weeks. I agreed. Jane called me after a week to ask how the car was running. It was during that period that the car ran perfectly straight when the remote was not used or engaged. In the end that proved to be the solution. A new module was installed in the remote starter and the car has been running straight ever since. Jane and Dave’s determined resolve and unbridled effort are to be commended. AutoValue’s slogan “ We treat you like family” was so very appropriate.

I have had my car for almost a month and still have yet to be given all the services I was promised when purchasing the car. I have not received any emails about subscriptions that I have paid for with the price of my car. I have been told this is going to be fixed multiple times and nothing happens (until I posted this review). I was misinformed by the sales person about what was included in my vehicle and the vehicle was missing features. Since posting this review most of my issues have been addressed but the manager made it clear that they are going out of their way to do this even though it was their own errors. He even said "I am here dealing with your issue that isn't important while I have 5 people in my showroom". He also proceeded to bring up that I put a one star review on google and that it is taking money from his pocket. I would not recommend this dealership based off of my experience.

Lee and John went above and beyond to help me when another service center installed my winter tires incorrectly and stripped the lug nuts on my 2014 Hyundai Elantra. Even though it wasn't the dealers fault they gave me a loaner car and went to the other service center to pick up my car once they "corrected" their mistake. Once they had the car back they also inspected everything to make sure it was done right and that it was safe to drive. Last week I called and book two appointments for oil changes for my vehicles. One for today at 2PM. I arrived at the dealership at 1:55 PM and was waiting in line inside the store. There was a gentlemen in front of me speaking with service adviser Tina. I was listening to their conversation. He was telling Tina that his vehicle was not starting properly and he mentioned something about the battery. He said if you don't have time, I can come back tomorrow. Tina told "John" that she had time. Tina along with John then went outside and did a walk around the vehicle. John and Tina then came back inside. Tina processed John's paperwork and John went and sat down with his wife in the waiting area. At this point, it is after 2:00 pm. As I am next in line, I am then seen by Tina who takes my keys and up sells me from a Service 1 to the spring special. I then go and sit in the sales area of the dealership. While sitting and waiting for my vehicle to be brought in, I watch as "John's" black Hyundai Sante Fe is driven into the service bay. I continue to wait and watch as my vehicle has not moved from the parking lot. At 2:33 PM, my vehicle has still not moved from the parking lot and my appointment was at 2:00PM. I approach Service Adviser Tina and ask for my keys back. Tina retrieves my keys and brings them to me and asks if I need something from my vehicle. I say no and tell her I am canceling my appointment and leaving. I also told her that I am canceling my appointment for tomorrow for my other vehicle. Tina repeatedly apologizes and says they are behind and her hands are tied while motioning in the air with two hands with wrists together. As she continues to say sorry and say they are busy, I begin to say that is why I booked an appointment last week for today. However, Tina talks over me by continuously saying she is sorry. I reply by saying that's okay, I understand that I am just a small cog in the wheel and left the dealership. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. I lost a portion of the afternoon with my children. I would not recommend this dealership.

This place is run by bunch of con artists. They really treat people like garbage. I went there to look at the car. They were using very aggressive technique.They never cared about my budget, preference. They just wanted to close the deal. Good luck, but I am not as simple as they thought and the manager got irritated. The car had some problems so I asked him to fix it so i can come for another try to which he responded I am not getting the car fixed unless you put a down payment. How stupid ? Would you show this car to someone without getting it fixed ?So artificial. Even if they call me and offer me half price for the car, i'd still not step my foot into that dealership.

Arrived to find almost a 1300 dollar bill and a new exhaust manifold on a 5000 dollar vehicle... Manager refused to come talk to us because he was "sick at work" (middle of covid) National rep did nothing. Beyond disappointed and will never go Hyundai again... In reply, I called and am still waiting for a call back from Tina to clear up the matter.... Nobody has contacted us at all, although you were very fast to respond to the review. Still would love to work towards a remedy that doesn't leave us with such a massive unexpected bill on a vehicle that was nearing it's last days. *update DO NOT do business here. I would give it 0 stars but David in sales has been trying to help. I bought a vehicle last Sunday despite the check engine light coming on during the test drive. I was assured that Hyundai stands behind their products and would fix the issue. I was told one of the sales staff knew the owner and when he was trading it in the check engine light had come on but it was nothing major and he had the part needed to fix it. We had made arrangements for the delivery on Tuesday night. I received a phone call Monday asking if we could push back the delivery to Wednesday as they were waiting on a bug shield and still had to do the safety. I told them that was fine as they were giving me the bug shield for free and I didn't mind. Wednesday night I picked up my vehicle and not even 45 minutes into having it, the engine light came on. The best part is I was taking my parents for a test drive and just made it to the end of their street when the light came on. I called David who was very apologetic and told me to bring the car back and they would look into it. Since then I've been getting the run around and very evasive answers. Apparently they never actually fixed the problem, they just cleared the code and drove it for "a little while" and the light never came back on so they called it day. Thursday they had to order the part and would get back to me right away. To this day I am still without my vehicle as well as an explanation and clear resolution to my issue. We've called them multiple times and if we get to actually talk to someone it's always the car isn't ready, it's a sensor and it's being looked at. If they would have done their job properly the first time I would maybe have my car instead of having to repeat my disastrous story to family, friends and co-workers. David in sales was kind enough to arrange a loaner so I can get to work and he has been trying to help but it seems not even he can get the service department to do their jobs. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed that aside from David no one cares or is trying to make this right. Learn from my mistake or you'll be stuck in a two year relationship from hell just like me.

Me and my girlfriend had a horrible experience dealing with Mr. Steve Edwards, the financial manager for purchasing a Hyundai Elantra. Steve was pushy and used scare sales tactic trying to push us to purchase a bad deal, extended warranty that we did not want, making us pay $7500 CAD extra over the amortization period of the loan for a brand new car that has already 5 years manufacture warranty. ' Every word that came out of his mouth was a lie. He manipulated us, tried to incite between us, called my girlfriend behind my back and talked badly personally about me and really crossed a red line in a relationship between a business and its customers, he should not be working for Hyundai. Also he never wore a mask which made us feel uncomfortable. There is no way this location has high rating this is the worst dealership I have ever seen it must be fake. P.S. about the business owner response, yes you know very well who I am why you lie, I sent emails to all the employees at your location and to Hyundai head office and about to take more legal actions against Steve and this dealership. i have mixed feelings about this dealership. if i had written this a month ago i would have agreed with other people that this place was the worst dealership ever to deal with and they rip people off. I had to get Omvic involved after having issues with a car i purchased 3 months ago and even then they were not co-operative. In the last few months several sales staff and 2 managers were let go. In the past couple weeks they hired a new manager who has been doing his best to rectify problems caused by previous staff. He seems to be reasonable to deal with and it appears he will improve things and make the dealership better than it was in the past. If i have any future issues I will go see Ray for his outstanding customer service.

Absolutely DO NOT BUY, SERVICE or TRADE with Hyundai, especially this location. Please save yourself the stress. I have been back and forth between pure rage and tears over my experience here. THOUSANDS in repairs, and ends with me having to purchase a replacement vehicle elsewhere putting me out another $30k on top of the 3.5k in repairs. This is a quick summary. -Bought 2014 Santa Fe XL from St Catharines location. Experience was okay. All future dealings with warranty and service done with AutoValue Hyundai as they are close to me. - Service is pushy with add-on services you don't need. They make everything sound like a favor or a deal when it is just standard or even sub-standard. - Do not trade a vehicle here, they offered me 8k for my Santa Fe months ago, when they would have sold for $17k. When buying our Santa Fe XL, they offered my wife who was alone approx 2k for our Elantra, when they would have sold for around 12k. - Two separate staff many months apart, one being the service manager Dave, argued with me about my vehicles towing capabilities. While I quoted their salesman and the owner's manual, he told me he felt different and it was common sense that what I was saying was wrong. Both of these arguments ended in them doing their homework and finding I was correct. Both of these conversations were extremely stressful to me as I actually did my research and was backed by Hyundai Sales staff at time of purchase. Being wrong about this research would mean I wasted a lot of money as I have a travel trailer I tow in the summer. - My coupler started to fail, I described the issue perfectly. They heard it but not super loud, and asked me to get a transmission fluid change as it would be taken into consideration if my transmission was the issue. As I know NOW..Transmission and coupler are not related and coupler failure on this vehicle is very common with general use, towing or not. I complained later and got credited for the $300 they charged me after an hour call with Dave. Later the coupler would be replaced. - I bring it in for a noise described as ON ACCELERATION ONLY. They talk me into replacing brakes and machine rotors to solve. $850 later, they realise the sound persists and they replace the transmission. - My coupler has failed again, I believe this vehicle shouldn't be rated for 5000lbs towing (as I am close to the limit) and this might be the cause for quick failure. The service manager Dave agrees and tells me he barely trusts his Santa Fe XL with 2500lbs in tow. Ask him. He even asked me to weigh my trailer and vehicle together to prove I was underweight (and I did). Despite this, Hyundai Canada, nor Autovalue Hyundai will help me as my extended warranty ended 3 months ago and the last coupler was replaced 13 months ago. Even though I talked to them 21,000km ago about my concerns when they fixed my transmission AND BEFORE the second coupler failure. They said it was fine to tow. - While troubleshooting my car for this second coupler failure, they broke the front passenger side strut/coil and determined the damage will be ~$1350. Dave confirms and agrees this happened in their care, but no one noticed, despite me literally not even being able to get out of the parking spot they parked it in without hearing the thunk it was causing by turning the wheel. This is on top of the coupler which is also ~$1350. - Dave offers to give me approx $250 off repairs, later to my wife he claims slightly higher. It makes no difference, this is $2700 I should not be paying for and half of it wasn't even an issue before they touched my vehicle. - I've towed my vehicle to my personal mechanic and selling once fixed. I now just had to go buy a new vehicle. This experience has literally cost me thousands and a ton of stress. I will absolutely never buy a Hyundai again. - I have more complaints, but chr limits. List of issues, not including regular wear like tires and brakes: - throttle body TWICE, wiper motors, A/C lines, transmission, awd coupler TWICE, and now the front right strut and spring in a 2.5 year period.

case and point - I was lied to by the sales representative that dealt with me. I was initially told that the used vehicle i was looking at "had just come in and that they didn't know anything about the vehicle and that it hadn't been looked at". but, when i made my reasonable offer and attempted to negotiate the sticker pricing the salesman's story changed completely to "oh its already been on our website for over 30 days already and because there was no interest in it that we have just marked it down as far as it can go so we cannot lower the price anymore". ....interesting lie. ultimately I left feeling not valued as a customer and yes "lied" to and please note: no save attempt made by the salesman or sales manager therefore I would not recommend this sales outlet to anyone in the future.

Review edited to add my experience after leaving the lot. I sat on this for a while before posting because Im not one to complain. I wrote a 5* review after purchasing a vehicle with the help of Chris & Steve on June 16. However at the time of this edit (July 6), it has been exactly 20 days since purchasing my vehicle & 18 days since driving it off the lot. At the time of purchasing, Chris advised that we could add $427 custom weather tech mats to our financing and that they offer various colours. We also bought an autostart be installed for $699. 3 weeks of owning this car & no one has called me about an appointment for the autostart nor inquired about what colour mats I prefer. It also came to my attention that I was missing the tire lugnut key & I reached out to Chris immediately (June 21). I was told that he would look into the issue. I never heard back. Exactly 2 weeks later, I called on July 5, & requested to speak with the sales manager or Chris & was put on hold for 7 mins; just to be told that someone would return my call. I did not get a call back. I called on July 6, again requested to speak with the sales manager. I was put on hold & passed to Tina in service who took the time to listen to my issues & informed me that the weather tech mats only come in black. She understood my concerns as my interior is grey. I told her that I would like to speak with the sales manager as I was clearly misled about having colour options, was still without my tire key, & still did not have a date for my autostart installation. She told me that she would give me a call back in 15 minutes. Almost an hour passed before she called, I dont blame her because she was branching out of her department to help. She did not have answers for me & she told me someone from parts would be able to confirm if I could get the mats in grey. I spoke with Brad in parts who said that they only come in black. I then inquired with him about my autostart installation & tire key & he also did not have any answers for me but was very understanding with my frustration. Again, I asked to speak to the sales manager. Soon after, I received a call from the manager Matt, who was finally able to provide me with a date for my installation, July 7 the next day. He asked if I needed a loaner, I said yes & I was told that one would be provided at the time of purchase. He was very short with me & said that Chris did not mention this, but will have a loaner ready. I asked about the tire key & mats, which he advised that he would cut me a cheque for the mats & the person that safetied my vehicle was looking for the key. If the key wasnt found he would “hook me up” anyway. I asked him why he was unable to return any of my calls and why it has taken almost 3 weeks to have my autostart installed. He said he didnt have an answer about the delay & thats something he would discuss with parts and financing. He then said that this was the first he heard of me looking to speak with him. He lacked professionalism in his tone & I could tell he was annoyed with my questions. I feel that I was patient with them based on the timeline I laid out. Despite the love I have for my SanteFe; I would return it, & purchase from a different dealership if possible. When I dropped off my vehicle to have the starter installed, I was given an awkward apology about the starter & was told that there was a miscommunication. Chris said that Steve thought parts was responsible for ordering the starter, when he was the one responsible. Apparently this was the first remote starter they sold? When you’re spending any money on a vehicle, I think it’s a given to expect quality customer service or some incentive for the inconvenience? I wonder how much longer I would be waiting if I wasn’t so persistent. Take the time to read all of their 1 star reviews & check out their Facebook reviews (wish I did), missing tire keys, not returning calls and a terrible sales manager are the norm for this place!

Coming here reminded me of why I question the purpose and very existence of appointments and reservation times. While the service was friendly and helpful, it was infuriating that I was told the work would take aprox 2 hours to find my car hadn't been touched after that time despite the work somehow having been "50%" completed. It took a further 2 hrs before it was nearly done and then another 45min before I could get off the lot. Next time I'll take the bus home and wait for a call to come pick her up. Despite all this, everything was back in order and the job done well.

3 months ago my wife and I bought a certified pre-owned 2016 sonata from this dealership. I found out a couple days ago that our back up camera has internal rust and corrosion and needs to be changed. I brought this to the sales manager attention he in short said “ tough luck its been 3 months you didn’t catch it on time”. This dealership is not trustworthy I will not do business with them again there are plenty of good trustworthy dealership in the niagara region that is worth my time. After talking to Matt (sales manager) he said there is nothing they can do even tho I do have certified pre-owned extended plan. Happy with my car, not happy with the service department. I brought my car in for my brakes. I needed a new brake line and thankfully it was covered by warranty. I was then told I needed all new brake pads and rotors and would cost $1200. When I said I just had that all replaced 2 years ago, she then said "oh ya well we can machine the 2 front rotors and it will bring you down to $1100". I said just do what is covered under warranty. I brought my car to Gilsons auto repair in Niagara Falls. My brake pads were fine and didnt need to be replaced. I asked if I did need new pads/ rotors how much would it be, he said probably just over $500. I'm very disappointed with Hyandai and wonder how many people have been screwed over. I will only go there for work that is covered under warranty, after that, never again. I would also like to mention that when my brake lines got done, it took a week to get my car back and was disappointed they didnt offer a loaner car.

Took my 2013 Sonata Hybrid in for the big 96000km service. I was there most of the day, as I expected. Tina Kennedy, the service advisor I had, was fantastic. When I took my Tucson in for a routine transmission fluid flush on May 15 2018, I mentioned that my washer fluid was not coming out at all, and could they please take a look at it. After waiting well over an hour for the transmission job, I was told that they were now checking the washer fluid issue. About half an hour later I was informed that i needed a new washer fluid pump at the cost of $127.00 plus taxes (and I assume labour). I was told they would have to order one and that I would be called when it arrived. Long story short, I went home and my 17yr old son discovered that the hose connecting the spray nozzle to the pump had fallen off. He fixed it in 5 minutes.Words cannot describe how angry I felt! To be blatantly lied to! Clearly no one even looked at it! Now I am wondering if my transmission was even serviced? How would I know? This is sad because I was actually considering buying another vehicle from them, but now I have absolutely no trust in them at all. The whole situation is shameful, unbelievable, unprofessional and disgraceful! ( illegal too?) So much for highly qualified Hyundai service technicians; how about rip off artists and liars?

It's been a year since I first came to Autovalue Hyundai. It was just a standard oil change. I always feel welcomed and accomodated. My car is the 2nd Hyundai car in the family, but I got mine used (from a used car dealer). We love the car and it performs well. Tina my service advisor made sure that my car is in perfect condition. She will inform me of the maintenance that needs to be done and if there are parts that needs to be replaced. After few months I observed that my car is burning oil. I am aware that this could be a result of neglect from previous owner. I wanted to get it fixed and asked Tina on what can we do to fix the problem. After a few test and monitoring, my car's engine was replaced subjected to a recall. For me, it's a positive experience considering I did not buy my car from this dealer and yet they still helped and assisted me. Because of this, we have added another car in the family and it's also a Hyundai! I really appreciate their fast and good customer service which makes me keep coming back.

Which feels a bit excessive, but with the service quality like that it feels like total ripoff, not to mention customer service attitude. "very unhappy customer " Purchased my car Sept-18 ,with a extened warranty plan . In July-19 I blew a tire on the 407 hwy at Jane St after serching my car I realized i did not have the wheel lock key, the 407 emergency vehicle employee serched my vehicle also without locating the key so called they number I had for the roadside assistance extra package i thought i purchased I was told It was told it was not valid after 3 calls i made ..twice i was disconnected....I was told by the 407 emergency I had to move vehicle he offered to call a tow truck for me ...the end result it cost me 720.00 to have my car towed back to my dealership (this was on a sunday) went in very upset and found out I did indeed have the extra valid package for roadside assistance...opps someone made a mistake!! But I can put in a claim for the max of 250 for my tow. For whos mistake?.. then they had the gull to try & charge me for the new rim wheel/lock set !! Im so done with Hyundai oh ya and I was informed by this dealership all Hyundai's dont have tire pressure warning systems. I dont understand that one, & was never informed that at time of purchase

Bad experience, I asked Michael Speck for an estimate on a car I liked, he did not want to talk to me about numbers unless I was willing to buy the car, I told him I needed an estimate first because I was gonna look for other options and then compare what was best for me. He looked extremely upset about it but ended up giving me some numbers, when i asked if i could keep the sheet where he had written the numbers he said NO! I asked for the car's car fax and he did not give me it because he said he did not have a printer which was odd cause I would expect a dealer to have a printer. He was rude, awful awful experience.

Recently bought a used 2018 Tucson, was pushed to buy the tire warranty and now when I try to use it I am told my tires are to worn out. The issue is when I bought the car I asked for new tires instead of worn out ones. You think in buying a warranty for tires you would get new to slightly used tires right? Now when there is actual damage to my tires and I need to use the warranty I was pushed to buy, I am now told my tires are to worn out and will not honour the warranty I was pushed to buy. I feel completely ripped off and Autovalue Hyundai is trying to charge me $800+ The point of this review is to not be sold extras because this dealership will find a loophole or completely misinform you. I don’t recommend this dealership anymore, I had sent them customers and will not anymore.
