I have been emailing and left messages for them for the past week about 2 trucks on the lot there. 1 manager. 1 sales. 1 web contact form. No one has gotten back to me. Guess they don't want to sell me a $70,000 truck. That's ok. Another dealer will.

My Mom takes her 2013 Ford Edge here for servicing on a regular basis. They treat her like gold, the service was great when it was MacDonald Ford as well. I live in Halifax and I appreciate that she is looked after. It once needed the PTU replaced under extended warranty, with no questions they organized a rental for her and replaced the Power Takeoff Unit (the issue found on routine inspection). Recently the check engine light came on, she took it into service right away and it was fixed promptly and at a reasonable price.

While on a camping trip from Rhode Island in August, our 1999 F250 got a leak in the oil cooler after towing a 21 foot, 4000 pound camper up to Dingwall. We drove (truck only) from Dingwall to MacDonald's Ford in Sydney We were met by Dan Burton and Danny the mechanic. I was able to talk to Danny about my situation which made me very comfortable. Went to purchase a new escape Monday september 18/17. After waiting for 20 minutes. The receptionist was on the phone the whole time and never even acknowledged our presence and no sign of a salesman we left and went to another dealer and purchased the car elsehere. Not impressed at all

Went there with my car which had the tcm issue. Usually it will take at least two to three days to figure and replace the module. But they did it within 2 hours. I didn’t even had an appointment and I was my way back to home. Excellent customer interaction and reliable service. Thank you Krysta Tynski, you are the best..

Got the run around on some repairs I needed. Seemed like they were just trying to make me frustrated and stop asking them for help. They took 1 full day to do a job that should only have taken 3 hours tops. It's my opinion that they would rather change air filters and do oil changes... They treated my vehicle like it was a cow... They milked it for as much as they could get out of it.... I would definitely advise against taking your vehicles to this location for any type of repair. Was an extremely frustrating experience, not to mention way to expensive. I repeat.... Go elsewhere.

Brought my car in for a wash. It came out with a nice scratch. After having the manager look for 2 hours on the camera, they finally decided to try and repair, never fully accepting blame. The job they did trying to fix it wasn't bad, but it wasn't the same as when I brought my vehicle in. In the end I still paid full price for my car wash, inside and out, which was over $100 and the last thing I was told from the manager was: "What do you want me to do."

They have false advertising. There is a sign outside their business saying "No credit, no problem" , "Students welcome" , and "bi weekly payments starting at $89.00" but when we went in, they said they will be doing a credit check and the sign is just to get people in the doors. We continued on looking for a new vehicle but Robin MacKinnon was interested in helping, nor took us seriously. Very unprofessional.

We brought our vehicle into this dealership when travelling. We didn't do much for research and probably should have investigated a bit further. Our vehicle required 11k in repairs so we started looking at alternatives to get home. We still owed about 4k on our truck but it was still in good shape besides needing a new transmission. I asked if we bought a vehicle through them if they'd take care of the balance we still had on the truck. We also required a hitch which was to be included. Since we got confirmation from the sales rep that they'd pay off our loan, we looked at purchasing a vehicle for about 19k. All our disputes for payment revolved around the 19k until things got settled for bi-weekly payment amounts. I thought it a bit high but didn't think too much on it. After signing paperwork and getting the vehicle, it wasn't until I was home reviewing everything that I noticed the price of the vehicle was 23k. What they'd done is paid off the loan and tacked it on top of the cost of the vehicle. Hitch was included...but also put on the bill. After that was done, tax etc pumped up the price of the vehicle to 28k. Sales rep basically stuck to his story that this was all discussed which it wasn't. all discussions on payment always revolved around 19k price tag. I don't recommend going here for buying a new vehicle unless you do your research and make sure you review all paperwork prior to purchasing. My old vehicle was basically given away for free with brand new tires. I'm still waiting for the sales manager to return my calls.

On a long road trip, from Florida, with my diesel F250, pulling a 26' camper trailer. My change oil light came on over the Thanksgiving day weekend, so had to wait until Tuesday. I was leaving today (Tuesday) for my next stop, and dropped by as soon as they opened, without an appointment (we left the camper at the campground), to see if they could work me in. The really nice gal behind the counter said we'll see what we can do. As I was standing there filling out paperwork a guy came up, picked up my key, and off he went. Within about an hour she came into the nice waiting room and told us our truck was ready. Thank you all for your gracious, cheerful service in helping an out of towner get moving again.

I had a terrible experience here when I went in to buy an F150. The sales person had NO idea what they were talking about, and I asked simple questions. I was taken to a manager, I believe his name was Mike, he straight faced lied to me about my trade value. I would advise you to look elsewhere when purchasing a vehicle.

On our "celebrate retirement" first trip we wanted to escape the Texas heat. We hooked up our travel trailer to our 2018 F150 and headed north. We had a problem with the Tow/Haul mode while at Cape Breton . When towing/hauling 8,000 lbs this is an essential feature. We called Plaza Ford and we were told service appts. were 1 1/2 weeks out. They would not help. Next we called Colbourne Ford. Michelle at Colbourne understood the problem and the need to assist a traveler in need. She said to bring in the vehicle ASAP and they would get it taken care of. Dan Burton got us into the service department, the vehicle was diagnosed and we were back to Cape Breton in a matter of hours. This is Customer Service!! Thanks to all at this Dealership!!
