Was informed by the manager, Scott Erickson, that the tire I was looking for was not in stock, so I asked if any other OK Tire would have what I was looking for. Scott said he would have no way of knowing this, to which I responded 'you could call them'. His response was "so can you" I was shocked by his lack of customer service and asked if this was how he typically treats customers, to which he replied "you're not a customer of mine" I was so put off by his smug attitude and unwillingness to help that I felt compelled to write my first ever Google review For comparison sake... Earlier in the day I had gone to Canadian Tire only to find they didn't have what I needed in stock. One of their mechanics suggested I try Kal Tire and when I asked where the closest location was, he looked it up on his phone and gave me directions. (Kal Tire didn't have what I needed either, which is why I ended up at OK Tire) Guess who ended up getting my business? After the unpleasant experience I had with the manager at OK Tire, I went back to the helpful staff at Canadian Tire and placed an order EDIT: I spoke to the owner, Sterling, and he didn't seem overly concerned that his manager's attitude cost his company a sale. Given the lack of accountability for poor service, it's not at all surprising this shop and its manager have so many negative reviews written about them.

My car had a slow puncture and I needed it repaired as soon as possible. They managed to book my in on the same day as a drop-in. The staff were all helpful and called me to keep me updated on the progress. I would recommend them for any tire services.

My friend told the fact At about 4 pm on March 13th, I drove a chevrolet car which had stopped for three months to "OK tire" to do the oil change. Before I was driving with my friend Paul, he could prove that the car condition was good and no issue, but after the maintenance man changed the oil , I found that the speed autometer did not work and the engine light was on too, so I asked the mechanic what was going on? He said the car's engine had already begun to light on before he changed oil, and as for the speed autometer did not work, he suspected it might be because it had not been stopped for long time, maybe the mouse or other animals came into the car to bite the cable. He said he can only help me to check a few mintues as he is busy, however he can give me a free careful check in the future. So, the problems were not solved, I drived car away with the engine light on and the autometer not working as well. In April I called the "OK tire" and hoped to get the car fully checked, I got the answer is to pay 80 Canadian dollars. I would say that this is the worst thing I have never met before, the OK tire has a bad credit, I suspect that the car issues were made by OK tire. I just want to remind everybody Please do not got to this shop to do any car maintenance, maybe yo will be the next one get the hurt.

Wonderfully fast and convenient auto service! Great place to check your tires, oil, and minor check-up. We booked an appointment at 6:40 PM and Vince sent us a reply on 6:43, even faster than getting your coffee ready. We drove our car there and they mounted winter tires on, while we spent some time shopping for that little plant. They even carefully set the car up for our trip to Montreal, a small detail in the earlier email! Price is affordable and reasonable, around a hundred bucks for everything. Service is swift with arranged appointment. Friendly and helpful mechanics. Excellent experience.

Upsold me on a full transmission flush without letting me know that there potentially be negative ramifications to this process on high mileage vehicles which is what mine is. (if they don't know these ramifications they of all people should). Still not sure why you would do a full flush and NOT replace the transmission filter (would have been more time and money to drop the pan but didn't let me know that). Also upsold me on a "brake line flush" because of water in my fluid, considering it's a closed system I'm now leery of this (things you learn after talking to a red seal mechanic). Most likely un -needed. I'm left feeling a little taken and that the work wasn't taken that seriously because I guess it's better to sell half a job than lose the whole one. They're friendly and courteous staff and willing to help it seems. I'd just be a little cautious of any upsells on "things you should do" without doing your research or getting a second opinion first.

Quoted me thousands of dollars for repairs after going in for a $35 dollar oil change(that they ended up charging me $50 for) Being a young women and super ignorant about cars I went home and parked my car for two weeks and thought about my options. (Buying a new car or spending the money to fix my current "death trap") When my dad, who's a retired mechanic came back from vacation he throughly looked over my car. My dad got really upset when he looked at my bill of sale. They tried to say 3 month old parts needed replacing(sway bar or link?) and the man at ok tire said my car is a "death trap" and at any moment my struts could fall off and cause my breaks to fail. My struts are fine!!! He was only right about my timing belt being cracked. I got it fixed for $80 at my regular shop. My regular mechanic is also super pissed. He's been working on mine and my dads cars exclusively for years You guys made me have all this stress and anxiety for no reason! You get one star for your nice waiting room. I would give you -5 stars if I could. But from now on I'll go to ANY other place to get my oil changed. I will also always get a second opinion! You guys are serious jerks for trying to screw me like that.

Left my vehicle overnight as it had an unrepairable flat. Left a note which the staff read and were ready for my call the next morning. Covid protocols (marked queue spots, barriers, etc) in place. Staff was courteous and they got the right sized tire in the same day. They couldn’t get the tire they had originally quoted me, so they ordered another brand that was a few dollars more expensive and just charged me the originally quoted price. No complaints. Would go back.

I bought tires from here and I have to say these are the best tires I've ever had..i drive a mustang and bought all seasonal radials and you would never know the difference between these and snow tires. I've also had some other work done on my car..and I was extremely pleased with everything. I finally found an honest mechanic with very reasonable prices.

The dealership was all about the sales vs. What I actually needed. The front desk staff answered all my questions, even the ones I should have known the answers to. I was able to book right away to have my tires replaced. The cost was lower than the dealership, even before the rebate. Hands down I would recommend this place.

Great service! Needed a seasonal swap and they delivered. Felt like a F1 pit stop. Quick service. Went in great friendly staff to greet you... waited outside and before I knew it was done. Was told it would take less than 1hr but it was more like less than 15mins. I don't know if they were busy or not but grateful they were accommodating. I was also given a pouch for my wheel lock. Highly recommended and high chance I will see them back in the spring or sooner.

My daughter needed snow tires and rims for her Highlander. I was visiting Saskatoon so went to OK to set it up. I picked the same rims we have on our own Highlander, and through experience knew new lug nuts with an extended shank would be required. The salesman concurred with me. Well she has moved closer to me now and when I went to put her snows on yesterday I was surprised to see regular nuts. These only make about 4 to 5 turns before tightening down. Not what I would call safe. So I am disappointed to say the least. May have been an oversight but wheels do need to stay attached to the car. Thanks

I took my car to Ok tire next to SGI on 8th Street Saskatoon. Because of my heater doesn't work and they inspected my car for 30 minutes and said it will cost $700 to fixed it. And I said I don't want to fixed because that's too expensive. And they charge me a $80 dollars for inspection only. I went there because of the good reviews but I had a terrible experience with them. I will never recommend anyone. Please don't believe in the good reviews. I get ripped off ????????????????

Went in for an oil change and found a few major problems with my car (needed a new power steering hose and cv axel). Gerry and Lewis were understanding, more than accommodating, and even let me drive around their loaner car for the day while they fixed her up. They also took the time to show and explain to me what they had done, and charged me a fair price for all the work. Finally they found a replacement for my cracked taillight and charged me $300 LESS than I had been quoted at another shop. I recommend these guys very very highly!

I had a nail in a tire on my Audi A6 and I was looking around the area for a tire repair shop. Ok Tire came recommended to me by a friend. Right from the first call to book an appointment all the way through to the repair, these guys were amazing. They squeezed me in for a same day appointment. When I arrived, they helped me immediately and explained the whole process to me. Note that they repair the tire from the inside, not just plug from the outside. I loved the transparency and honesty throughout the whole process. I had to bring my 6 month old puppy along since I couldn't leave him alone at home and he was spoiled with treats from the guys at the shop. They worked on my tire as quickly as they could and I was able to watch the whole process since they operate with their garage bay doors open. In short, I highly recommend OKTire for your tire repair needs and beyond. Keep up the good work and it's safe to say that you've won over a very happy long term customer!

Went in recently to put on my winter tires. Odd to see 8 months into the pandemic the front desk staff not wearing a mask or have a plexi glass barrier. Not acceptable in era of COVID for businesses. Had opposite experience at an automotive glass place down the street - masks, glass barrier and gloves. Clearly it’s a business decision they’ve made - something OK tire should re-think about. Definitely one of the best places in the area for your automotive needs. They're a full service mechanic shop, licensed provincial vehicle inspector, and a full service tire shop. There's a coffee shop on the same block if your appointment is short and a large mall at the end of the street if your repair might take longer. Also accessible by a large number of bus routes.

Condescending attitudes, very unprofessional. Instead of offering advice on tires I had brought in to have changed onto my rims, they said that I shouldn't even bother because the tires weren't in good enough shape. There was nothing wrong with the tires other than being at about 60-75% tread which I'd already known. Then the technicians in the back went on to mock the rims I'd brought in to have the tires put on to. It's my understanding that we as customers PAY to have stuff done and don't deserve this kind of treatment. I would greatly appreciate friendly advice, but do not tolerate condescending views. Definitely won't be going back again.

My wife had our winter tires put on and they were supposed to store our summer tires. They told my wife the summer tires were worn and would need replacing, but she wasn't ready to make a decision about it at the time and asked to have them stored. Came back in to get the summer tires put back on, and they had thrown our old tires away. I wouldn't even care, except I had recently checked the wear indicators of the summer tires and while they were worn, they certainly would have been fine to leave on for a season of minimal city driving. This isn't the first negative experience with this store, and I certainly won't be returning or recommending their services to anyone else. EDIT: Like I said Sterling, I had recently checked the wear indicators and they were worn but certainly not unsafe. Any meatball can check tire thread depth and overall condition and make a reasonable assessment. You saw an opportunity to try to pressure my wife into making a sale, and it backfired. From reading some of the other reviews, it sounds like this wasn't your first rodeo.

Great experience, called in day before for Blizzak winter tires purchase/install on short timeline. I was flying in to Van the following day to pick up a new vehicle. OK Tire gave me a reasonable price ( not the cheapest, not the highest either) and had the install done in 45 min so I could get on the highway back home. They also provided a tire rebate form and extra copy of invoice for me if I wanted to try and apply for rebate, I had not mentioned it ahead of time but knew about it. They know what they're doing and that piece of mind is what you need when the rubber hits the road!

I had a faulty wiper blade that kept coming off during use as the adapter provided was not seating correctly into the wiper arm. The guys at the shop helped to fix the issue without resorting to buying a new blade (as these were brand new) and sent me off with safe, functioning wipers. We have been taking our company cars and personal vehicles to OK Tire for some years. I experienced this week myself the personal service Santings put into the care of thier customers and their work. All of our vehicles get oil guarded yearly and I just took the newest one in. I received a ride home almost immediately from one of their staff and pick up was just as quick. They took the time to pick up the bit of garbage left behind from one of my kids (which was their job after school:), washed the car down and placed a paper mat on the floor to protect the inside of all the material they use. It didn't smell of smoke and I didn't find gungy hand prints on the door handle or steering wheel.I received it in better shape than the condition I gave to them and in. Ordered snow tires online and booked appointment. Tires were better priced than several local suppliers as well as US sites. Both Sterling and Scott were friendly and professional. Also, having lounge to wait with WiFi is handy. Unfortunate to see some negative reviews but I had a 5-star experience with good pricing and service. Update: I wrote the original review minutes after the tires were installed. After the review I went to clean my wheels as there was a bit of dirty marks left on them. To my disappointment I found two chips on the finish of my wheels. With the friendly service I received, I thought if I called I would be covered. I was wrong. Was told it was winter road debris and not from install. Based on the location of the chips it was quite apparent it was from removal of the original tires. I asked for an opinion from a retired tire technician who confirmed my suspicion and he said it is impissible for the damage to be caused by road debris and definitely from tire removal. Overall this is a 2 star review since price was reasonable but if I had known that my 2 month old car would have minor damage on the rims I would not have done it. Especially since I specifically asked if there was a chance my rims would get scratched and was told no.

After phone almost every tire shop in Toronto for new all-season rubber for my 2002 Chevy Impala LS, I discovered OK Tire/Sisca's Auto Service. I had originally wanted Michelin's, but I couldn't justify the cost ($800-900). Frank, the service advisor at this location, recommended Kumo Solus. Internet reviews of this tire and manufacturer were overwhelmingly positive - far better than equivalent Goodyear's. The estimate I received was quite reasonable, and so I arranged for an appointment. Their location is perfect for anyone living downtown - Dupont just west of Bathurst. A large lot that's easy to get in and out of and plenty of parking. Customer waiting room was clean and well equipped with two TV's, daily newspapers, water and magazines suited to most tastes. Frank, and the owner, Vince, were very friendly. Replacing tires usually takes an hour or so, depending on the condition of the rims - the job took about 38 minutes. The final price was a mere two dollars above the estimate price. I haven't tested the new tires thoroughly, but so far, I'm very happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for new rubber for their car in downtown Toronto. Update 1 year later: those all-season tires got me through last winter and are still going strong. Very happy with the purchase. Planning on going back for some winter tires for my new car.

My vehicles have been coming to this location for several years! I had a 1998 Honda which had a very bad habit of picking up every nail, screw, or sharp object it could find. Thankfully, I work in the area and I have never had a problem getting my vehicle in and receiving same day service. I've only ever had my tires repaired, rotated, or switched over to winter tires at this location. In 2015 I decided to upgrade to a new vehicle. This morning was fitting for how my week is going to shape up. I discovered a screw in my tire on Sunday and pounced on my dealership service department as soon as they opened Monday morning. Couldn't get a live voice for over 30 minutes. Very frustrating. Ended up at Ok Tire at 8:30 as a walk-in, had a call by 9:30 saying my tire was repaired and the car was ready for pick up. Absolutely great service. I've never had a bad interaction with them. I have often recommended them to many of my friends and my co-workers.

My wife and I have lived in our west end neighbourhood for 25 years and have always believed in giving our business to people there. Ossington Tire was our go-to place but they have now closed. My wife had a tire issue that needed to be addressed quickly and so I looked for tire shops close by. Called OK Tire on Dupont to find out if they could service the problem and the guy that answered the phone seemed to have a problem with the fact that it was an "older car" (2003 Jaguar X-Type which has been impeccably serviced and maintained, looks brand new). The guy on the phone started ranting about not wanting to deal with some old jalopy (my word) and was generally uncouth. Needless to say they didn't get our business and never will after that experience. I've been in the business world for 50 years and one of my first lessons was never to pre-judge clients, but to let them reveal themselves to me. Maybe it was just the wrong guy answering the phone, but these people need to get that sh** sorted. It will destroy you.

They were told both by my wife and me that the car was being picked up after hours, we got there and it was sandwiched between two other cars. Took a bit to get it out. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The gentlmen here took great care of me yesterday when I was in the middle of an emergency. I was half an hour away from home with my baby in the back seat and it sounded and felt like my tire was going to fall off. They told me to get right over and they would take a look. They ended up taking all my tires off and retightening them for me. When I went to pay the wonderful man at the front told me to just get home safely. Safe to say they made my day. But when I called OK tire they invited me down to leave the car, they would see what they could do but we're very upfront that it could take a couple days as they were triple booked. I dropped the car off at 10:30 a.m. at approximately 11:45 a.m. they called me to tell me that it was finished with the total price for the repair to the tire just a plug was tax in $38. And the place was just jumping it was so busy. But everybody's calm everybody's friendly everybody acknowledges you I can't say enough about this place. It's my go-to from here on out. And for the doubters about the quality of work it's been two weeks and 1500 kms driven since this happened, not an issue whatsoever. No air pressure warning light I've double checked it a couple times it's holding steady at 36 lb perfect.

I took the family van (Odyssey) to this shop as my wife, who mostly drives the vehicle, noticed a clicking noise/shimmy in the wheels/tires. They brought me to the back to show me what the issue was, which I thought was a sign of honesty. They showed me that the wheel mount bolts/studs were broken and needing to be replaced, which by looking was absolutely true and obvious. Then they went on to have a technician rev the engine until the wheel started making a rattling noise and tried to claim it was the differential/transmission! What they didn't know was the transmission had been replaced within the last year and less than 4000 kms had been driven on it since we purchased it. They then quoted me $3920 to fix the vehicle. I then took it to 2 other mechanics, including the transmission specialist who did the work on it in the first place. There was absolutely NOTHING WRONG with the transmission. It was 100% functional and works absolutely perfectly. In a nutshell, they will make things up for work that does not need to be done. The actual repair cost me $60. I do not recommend taking your vehicle to this location of OK Tire for any repairs or issues.

Took my car there for a wheel alignment and got a worse alignment then what I came there with. I don’t know if the shop tech is dyslexic or something because when I got it realigned I had 14% camber on my back tires. Messed up all 4 tires with inside tire wear. I’m pretty sure my neighbours stoned dog could do a better alignment. Would not recommend unless your a ricer who wants camber and screwed tires in 6 months

They go above and beyond to find rebates for you when purchasing tires (I just saved 70$ on a set of Michelin tires). They do not "fish" for work, ever! I've dealt with OK Tire in Lethbridge since moving here five years ago. There have been hiccups here and there, but to their credit, the staff have always made things right. My visit yesterday for a tire rotation and oil change was enough to get me to write a review. Kirk, the new service manager greeted me by name when I walked in, even though we'd never met. I was very impressed with his professionalism and appreciated that he went over my car's checklist and answered all my questions. So much so that I grabbed a few of his business cards so I could give them out to friends. Man alive, this sounds like a fake review, but it really isn't. It's too bad the old location off Mayor Magrath is closed as there isn't much around the new one except for the auto mall. So I guess you can go test drive new cars while you wait. That's about the only annoying thing. Then again, the new location is much more comfortable and doesn't smell of KFC.

My wife took her Honda fit here to have winter tires installed per my recommendation (based on decent service years back). When she came in, she was charged $50 more than quoted over the phone for an extra 'tire rotation' to put the wheels back on the car, and a mysterious shop supply fee of $12.50. When she inquired about the shop supplies she was blown off and told it is 'industry standard' with no explanation of what that was for. On top of that, they left her vehicle sitting unlocked not in their lot but on Kingsway until she picked it up - fortunately nothing stolen or damaged. The only saving grace is that when I called to complain the guy on the line at least listened to my complaint, but only offered "fair enough", with no apology or anything otherwise. $170 for a simple 4 tire tire install on a honda fit with your vehicle left unlocked on the street and demeaning service. STAY AWAY.

Dropped 20" tire on alloy rim for plug repair. Tire repaired but was not returned to rim. After 2 sessions OK tire declared they could not complete the job and that I should pick up my rim and tire. The tire was noticeably damaged on the bead surfaces. I have since taken the tire to my usual tire shop and they have declared the tire damaged and scrap now.... I've not encountered a tire shop that was overcome by a tire, and then simply gave me the plug for free... gee swell thanks.... set of 4 tires now to be bought elsewhere...
