After being quoted $600-$700 for a mechanical repair, I received a bill for $1176.66, almost double the agreed upon and approved amount. I have been taking my vehicles to Koncir for almost 2 decades and have found Gary to be a fare and reasonable person to work with until recently. His son Josh lacks the business acumen of name that used to graces this well run family business. What you are quoted is what you should pay!... and if there is going to be an increase in that amount do not arbitrarily do the work without first consulting the customer. Common sense. Terrible business practice, no wonder they require so much radio advertising.

Terrible place had a person wanted to buy my truck asked if he could take to koncir to have it looked at. When I picked the truck up after I was having problems steering the truck and not running well. I took to my mechanic he said the front control arm was unbolted why? Taking parts off my truck ? I never gave permission for that. I'd stay away from these people in my opinion a theif.

Great service. Honest . As a woman I'm always nervous taking my car to a mechanic. These guy are honest , take the time to explain things and won't do unnecessary repairs. They give you the "heads up " to something that may need to be looked at in the future. Great guys all around.

Gary and his team consistently go above and beyond. I originally bought my 2011 Ford Escape from Koncir Automotive in 2011. It now has over 383,000 km. It was running a little rough and making strange noises. Gary said to bring it in for a check up. After his team diagnosed the problem, they installed new spark plugs, a new purge valve and a few other parts, they also welded an exhaust bracket back on. I picked the Escape up this afternoon and while was driving home I found myself grinning from ear to ear so pleased with the service and the way I was looked after. Thank you Koncir Automotive!!!

I bought my car there and it has been a headache since. I had the car a week and the check engine light came on, took it in 3 times. Third time it was "fixed" Trying to get any warranty work done is like pulling teeth. The new guy put in the wrong milage for my car after doing an oil change and when asked to fix it in the computer because I didn't want it to mess up my warranty, he said they couldn't fix it. The owner yelled at me, for going back in to ask for a receipt for work they had done. They than said that they could fix the milage in the computer. They also told me they wouldn't have a receipt for a few days of my warranty work which I never had before. They covered the part that wasn't covered under warranty. But no apology for yelling at me. I am sorry it was too little too late. Finally I had to take the car to another garage in town, and they had to fix the check engine light, which Koncir had apparently fixed.
