An honest mechanic is hard to find. I called Doug once because something wasn't working with the power window in my car. Most mechanics would tell me to bring it in, tear off the door trim and charge me a few hundred. Doug explained exactly what the issue was and that it was simple enough for me to fix on my own without costing me a penny. He is not going to do work that doesn't need to be done. Whenever someone asks me if I know I good mechanic in town I automatically suggest Dykstra Automotive. Excellent service that you can count on!

My vehicle died in the middle of an intersection yesterday, so I had it towed to this shop. Within hours I was contacted with the problem and was offered the cheapest fix available. My vehicle was back up and running within hours of it going down and the price was extremely reasonable. Great guy, great garage and I will definitely be coming back if I have a problem with my car.
