On my way to go fishing at 7:30am. Trailer got a flat and was lucky to be close to tires unlimited. (Went to Midas but they weren't interested in helping one bit- 0 stars for Midas) They opened the doors at 8am, took us in and had two new trailer tires on before 9am! No appointment and these guys took amazing care of us in a quick and affordable and professional way. Big thanks guys. Got two nice salmon today because of you. ????

I went to three places that couldn't help me change a tire on moms old RV, I called ahead and the guys helped me out no problem, They went the extra mile found me a tire, even filled up my spare to make sure I could ride safe! Honestly if felt like a miracle if I kept driving that tire would have blown on the road during rush hour and all you drivers would've been cursing my name for prolonging your commute. Tires Unlimited (also known as Miles Primrose to long-time Victorians) is Victoria's best place to get tires and wheels. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, quick, and work to start and maintain long customer relationships. Just today I picked up a new set 17 inch steel rims for my winter tires. They had ordered in the rims (without a deposit) and before they did the work they made sure the rims fit and that I could use my existing nuts. After they confirmed the fit they put the my tires on the rims, bagged them up (I will put them on myself later) and I was on my way in 20 minutes, and at the best price for the work I could find in Victoria.

Called the guy he quoted $55 for a used tired balanced and installation asked me to come the next day spoke to someone called Ray. Called the next day and the person who answered told me that Ray wasn’t there and he nevertheless said the tire was available and asked me to come. When i got there he quoted $65, when i mentioned that i was quoted $55, he started swearing that racial themed slang and yelling and pushed his chair so it hit the other things in the store and the workers from the other store rushed in to check. I had not said a sigle offemsive word or tone while he was swearing at me. I will never again go to the store!

Went in for a tire alignment and to fix a seal and told them to touch nothing else...ended up being charged for filter and fluid checks and top-ups; meanwhile they neglected to perform the alignment. To be fair, they fixed the seal, but for over 200$ I should have kept pumping my tire every other morning.

Tires aren't cheap, but the service here is First class. With putting the right tires on my ride even tho they cost a pretty penny. After riding on them for a few weeks, I agreed with them. And when I had to come back for a minor fix, they did it on the spot, no charge, no questions asked with apologies. It may seem busy but they are hustling their butts back there in the shop.

I had recently bought 4 new winter tires from a dealer 1200km away from Victoria during a road trip. When I got back to Victoria a week after purchasing the tires I unfortunately popped the front right tire. I needed to take off the very afternoon of the tire pop for a wedding so my time was very limited. The amazing crew at tires unlimited found me and ordered the exact tire in an hour (which was extremely hard since my tires are an odd size), they installed it, rotated and checked the pressure of all four tires and got me out of there with an amazing discount in 10 minutes. I booked a wheel balance appointment with Tires Unlimited because I was experiencing a slight vibration while highway driving. After a quick check, the technician informed me that the balance service wouldn't fix the problem due to the type of rim/tire. They did not charge me anything for this and provided me with amazing service and advice!!!! They assured me that I would be safe and it's nothing to worry about. I had a slow leak in one of my tires, so I called to get it fixed. They got me in within 1/2 hour of me calling, just before closing time, and patched my tire quickly while I waited (there was a screw in the tire). Service was fast, efficient and super friendly. Would recommend! Just one word of advice is to drive to the shop from the west on Gorge Rd. I was coming from Esquimalt and couldn't turn into the shop from the eastbound lane of Gorge Rd.

Got a flat around noon and called Tires Unlimited to see if I could get a new tire. Not only did they have the exact tire I wanted in stock, but they were able to bring my car in at 4pm that day to have it installed. Service was great when I got there, and the new tire was put on in about 15 minutes. Couldn’t have been a better experience.

The only place I have gone to for tires for many years. If you are looking for cheap tires and don't care about your safety, this is not the place to go to. However, if you do care about performance, handling and safety, the staff at Tires Unlimited will get you back on the road on excellent tires that, more often than not, are not nearly as expensive as you were afraid they would be. They are also remarkable mechanics and can fix all the other parts attached to your new tires.

Got an excellent quote for 4 17" tires.. 650 bucks new including balance and mounting. Only 128 dollars per tire was a pretty unforgettable price. Staff was quick to take a look at my car. Assignments are also done here. Send like a very clean and professional place. You may get upsold if you don't go in knowing specifically what you want but that's what shops do... They need to make a living. All in all for a bigger shop you would expect to be scared of.. it's not bad at all. Staff is also very friendly and seems empathetic. I purchased a tire from him for a project car. Needed 1 new tire for a rim I was waiting to be delivered. He assured me that the price included the instillation. When I went back a week later to get the tire installed on the new rim he acted like he had never met me before. Then he went into a rage. There is another reviewer on here that seems to have had a similar experience. The unprovoked aggression was odd. I would understand if he didn't remember. I had a receipt but didn't bother after the outburst.

Prior to my recent experience, I would have raved about the service at the gorge location ! I brought my vehicle in to have a plug put in the tire and thought I would get quotes for new tires in the future. I had a conversation about needing brakes first and asked if they did brake work. The response was yes. I thought perfect, I would get my brakes done first followed by tires. I was ready to set up an appointment to have the brakes looked at, when I was told they would check my brakes while I was there. Perfect !! I left being told my brakes still had 30% on the front and 60% on the back. I was told my brakes would last for awhile longer and maybe tires should be done first. Within 24hrs of pulling out of that place a VERY BAD grinding was happening in my brakes. I of coarse thought " I must have a stone in there, because of the information I was given the previous day" The alternator happen to go in my vehicle a few days later which forced my vehicle to be towed to a shop. While it was there, I asked if they had the time to have a look at the brakes. I received a call later the same day stating I was metal on metal on the front !!! I was to say the least very disappointed having been told from tires unlimited they were still okay for awhile. Needless to say tires unlimited has lost my business for brakes, tires or anything else in the future. I got the feeling they were trying to get me in for the larger purchase of tires first at which time they would tell me it was imperative I did the brakes immediately. Very bad business practice, honesty is the best policy !!!!!

I have dealt with this company several times over the years. I had a reoccurring flat that was diagnosed at a competitor as a failed rim and was told I needed a new rim. Not so easy to find a match when the rim is 19 years old. Stopped at Tires Unlimited on the Gorge and within an hour they had the rim repaired and ready to go. I bought a set of tires from here last year, and it's been very nice to come back for free tire rotations. I recently found out that they are also a full-service garage, and took my car in this past Monday for repairs. The pesky "Check Engine" light is now off :) The staff, both front desk and service garage, are all very nice to deal with. Also, their washroom has recently been renovated and is very clean - better than some restaurants, so if you have to wait for a while, this is an appreciated feature :) I also observed the fast service they provided for walk-in customers, so tire repairs can be done quickly and for very good prices. A busy shop, but accommodating as well.

I visited this place on a road trip with no other options and a time constraint. Went in to replace a valve for a tire with a slow leak and asked them not to touch anything else...came back and was charged for fluid and filter checks that I'd specifically said not to do (I'd just done them myself). On top of all that, they didn't even realign the wheels properly: I had to fight the thing from pulling right for the next 1000 miles and it wore my front tires down to the bead. These are you typical sneaky mechanics who'll take advantage of whoever they can; try to stay away if you can avoid them.

Yesterday I got a flat, put the full size spare on, then got another flat due to the age of the spare. Thankfully I was only 100m from this location at the time of the 2nd flat. The service was excellent, very kind and the staff very clearly wanted to help me out, and they did, but for one important detail. The replacement tire was not mounted correctly and did not seal, so it became flat within 24hours. Just my luck, 3 flats in less than a day and a half. Unfortunately, the 3rd was not my bad luck but a human error by the technician. Luckily, I had lent my car to a friend who works in the office of a BC Transit depot and she noticed it had gone flat over her lunch break. They repaired the tire there, and I am told they even had to patch a crack in the tire from it becoming flat. So I will be replacing this tire again along with the others as I am due for a new set. I do not like leaving negative reviews, so i want to reiterate that the service was excellent and all else was perfect but for the product and service that I was actually paying for. I am sorry tires unlimited but I will not be back nor will I recommend your services.

if they cared about the details the mistakes would not happen I called down and arranged to have a set of tires put on my daughters car the flat was in the trunk spare was on right front I instructed put spare back in trunk replace remaining four tires my daughter drove into town had tires replaced back out of town 2 1/2 hours The flag was still in the trunk and the good spare had been changed for a new tire I called they said bring it down will fix the problem so I drove back down they fix the problem and said sorry but we're only human. Well there is no but behind sorry you either care or you don't and a little more care would make for a less mistakes

I purchased a set of tires that were the next generation of my previous set. But I was so unhappy with them, that the idea of having them for the next 6-9 years was very tough to accept. After some discussion, the team at Tires Unlimited went the extra many miles to make sure I was happy. They upgraded me to set of tires that I love. I just had to pay the labour costs. I was so thankful when the switch happened and continue to be every time I see these tires on my car. My car to me is more than just a car, it is really special as I saved up for it in high school and still have it. Also the manner in which they worked with me was so friendly and warm. Thank you. Once again I have experienced stellar service at Tires Unlimited on Gorge St. I had a destroyed tire that had to be replaced, and the good people at Tires Unlimited got me in right away and out again in less than an hour. These guys are awesome. Local and friendly! Went to the other guys fountain and kal tire and even though I have my daughter, they were just too busy to fit me in. These guys fixed my tire in no time, took off the spare and replaced it and put my spare away! Service here is top notch.

Brought in my wife's tire with a screw in the tire for a flat repair. Steven was very professional at the counter. Tire was repaired in 10 mins. Fast, professional and they used the right tire plug/patch without me even asking. (Looks like a golf tee with a patch). Will get all tire work done here again!
