These guys were fantastic helping with our van. We broke down and had to get towed there and they took care of everything. The part we needed was on a huge backorder across Canada (Chrysler/Dodge really needs to do a recall on the oil filter housing / oil cooler) but they managed to source one for us and had it out the door the same day. They even came in slightly below their quoted repair cost. Above all else, very professional, helpful, and respectful employees. If I have car issues in the future they will be at the top of my list to go see.

Called them for work on my vehicle, it wasn't long before my car was in the shop. Brought in a list of things I wanted looked at and they completed all of my list and recommended a few other major things I didnt know needed to be done, and gave me the choice to get it done or not with a very good price. Came in the next month about some squealing belts, they got me in immediately and took care of me for no charge! Highly recommend to give them a call, they take care of their customers!

I have used 78 Auto & Tire for my business since 2006. I have nothing but positive things to say about their service. For a few years, it was for SGI vehicle inspections only, but I finally started having all of my business vehicle maintenance and repairs with 78, and I wish I had done so sooner, as my confidence in our vehicle's Dealership disappeared. Staff are consistently professional, cheerful, knowledgeable, and on more than one occasion, have gone far above and beyond to find a workable solution for an issue which would have cost considerably more had I gone to the Dealership. They have 'delivered' on every task, usually in a shorter time than expected. I feel very confident that, whenever I have a problem with my car, Daren finds time to work around my schedule, and I have complete trust that everything will be completed to their high standards!

I took my Hyundai Santa Fe 2015 Turbo 2.0 to the dealership for an oil change. When i went to pick up my vehicle they had a "Suggested" list of service repairs totaling over $3000.00. everything from A?C system. drive belts, transfer case leak timing cover, coolant flush, spark plugs amd T-Case "service". The guy at Hyundai said the Timing cover needed to be done or my car could seize up.....seriously. I took the work order to 78 Auto and explained whats going on. They booked it in and got it on the Hoist to check out and Confirm what was being suggested to me via Hyundai Service South Location. They called when they were done and When i went back they took photos of under my car where the "Leak" to my timing cover was. Turns out it was just some dried oil. They said they would see no reason to even open up the cover. They Changed the oil on my transfer case changed the belt/Spark plug. and even rotated my tires for free. the part that got me was the most simple thing but hey. Every time i went to hyundai they told me my license plate light was burnt out and they wanted to replace it for 25$. i would pass. 78 Auto did it for free! all said and done my service was about 675$ so i saved 2300$ and got a tire rotation and bulb for free. Hyundai South will never get a penny from me again.

Joey and the rest of the guys at Marv's Place are top notch! I've had several hiccups with my car that have brought me in a few times to the shop over the past month and every time they have been super helpful. The technicians are highly knowledgeable and can basically diagnose your car simply off of the description of the symptoms you tell them. They always completed the work before the end of the day and my car runs great with no problems.

Compassionate mechanic fixed my radiator late on a Friday afternoon when I broke down while vacationing. They took me in without an appointment, fixed only what was necessary in the most efficient and cost effective manner. If I lived in Saskatoon I would use this garage! I might drive from Winnipeg for them to service my car!

I will be honest I had to do an out of province inspection and had to get a few things done, I was not happy at all, but government regulations are government regulations and when you gotta be up to code then you have to get the work done, the folks at 78 Auto took care of me they put up with my frustration with regulations and got my vehicle up to code they whent above and beyond to make sure that if it cost a quarter then they did it on a dime all while maintaining quality and professional standards!!! I have had a couple other minor things here and there and 78 Auto is always just a phone call away with fast booking and decent service times.

I came here because my car was making a noise from the front wheel. I am not from Saskatoon and am a young female. They fixed the noise (which was a bent backing plate) charged me $106 to bend it back. They then continued to tell me I needed my front lower ball joint replaced and would cost me over $500. I had both front lower ball joints replaced 5 months prior. (I obviously did not let them do it). They tried taking advantage of a young female. Do not recommend this place at all. No respect.

This is my mechanic shop. I don’t think I would go anywhere else. I’ve had nothing but great service from everyone there. Their prices are fair - my last visit was 0$- warranty who would have thought? YES! they stand behind their products and service! they’re honest and let you know what needs fixing NOW and what can wait. I’ve always been able to get in quickly, and the car is ready by the end of the day????????

I Had an no start on my 2015 Jeep due to the freezing saskatchewan weather and had it towed and Daren and the boys @ 78 auto and they had me going in no time at all. I came into Saskatoon on a business trip and on the Friday afternoon I was planning on leaving I had troubles with my truck. Even though they were swamped that day and the phone was ringing off the hook, they managed to get my truck in right away and back on the road so I could still make it home that night. 10/10! Prompt, honest, and friendly service. I was impressed with how quickly 78 Auto was able to get me in (day of within a couple of hours), and was even more impressed with their friendly service. I originally chose to go to their shop because of the reasonable pricing for a DRL change. When I got there, the mechanic determined that it was only a coding error in my vehicle and corrected it without charge. He then was open to talk about something else he noticed, the pricing, and the reality of the urgency for the repair. Overall, very happy with my experience and I will certainly be back for any future repairs I need!
