I've been going to Value Tire since I was 16 when they were by the laser-tag place and had my first beater truck. 18 years later and they've always been honest on the inspection of the vehicles I've taken there and haven't suggested things that don't need replacing. The service is good, pricing has always been fair, and now we take our fleet vehicles there for service. if a mistake is made, they've always made it right. Thanks.

I'm from BC and recently moved to Saskatoon for university reasons. I was suppose to get my winter tires today despite there being a snow storm the night prior. Sam from Value Tire had called, informing me of the road conditions downtown that even large trucks were getting stuck, and offering to reschedule my appointment. I drive a small Honda Fit, so I really appreciate Sam's insight and taking the time to inform me so I also wouldn't also get stuck and waste my time. Excellent customer service Thanks Sam!

Had my front left wheel hit on a curb really bad and ever since my car started pulling leftwards. Got some parts replaced by a cheap shop and didn't get things worked. Finally came to value tire and got alignment done and some small things adjusted. Very satisfied. Enjoying ride again. Charges are fair compared to the hassle I had for a while.

Very Very impressed (for the second time). i went in the day of the first major snow storm. The phone was ringing off the hook and the shop was BUSY. However the service i received was top notch, i didnt feel like i was bothering them, they took the time to sell me a right set of winter tires and even gave me $10 off per tire to boot. I was treated with respect and i really appreciated it, especially on the type of day it was. Also the price i paid was the best in town, another bonus. Honest and ethical business for sure. Hands down i will go back and you should too!

Poor service and unconcerned with their customer's safety. Very disappointed with my experience here, would rate it 0 stars if I could. I had tires mounted on rims I bought online and put on my car. I was told the rims were "...slightly bent, but the bent ones are on the back and they balanced, so you shouldn't notice it in your ride." Later after getting the chance to take my car out on the highway, I noticed aggressive vibration in the car at highway speed. I took it back in and asked if they'd re-check the balancing. They then informed me that not only did I not have hub centering rings installed, but that two of my rims were so far bent that I should replace them. When I asked the owner, Sam, why such an unsafe setup was allowed to be installed on my car he told me that its not their job to check the safety of the rims. They only did what they were told, by installing it on my car. They also refused to reimburse for the work done, as they refused to admit that the setup was unsafe. My advice is unless you are a vehicle technician and are willing to double check the install yourself, take your business and your piece of mind elsewhere.

Not very pleasent with value tire we took are car there for motor mount to be fixed i get called at work they tell me are car ready but it does not run mmmm yet if ran great before i took it there they pretty much said could be your timming out. I said not likly less you guys played around with it the person looked the other way. Not good service now my car is sitting

I would definitely recommend this tire shop. I went there recently for the first time to have winter tires put on, and found them to be extremely professional, courteous, with great customer service and very reasonable rates, just like I read in the others reviews. Being open on a Saturday is a big bonus, too, especially if you are from out of town.

Are they honest? For repairing the flat tire caused by a nail they charged me $36. Another $25 to reset the computer system without asking my permission in advance. My friends said that I was ripped off. Will never come again.

I really appreciated how fast they were willing to try and get the tire I needed the same day. I called and the lady was super nice on the phone and was able to make it happen. When I got there an hour early they told me I might have to wait until my original time which was fine but as soon as my tire came into the shop they brought my car in early by at least half an hour. The young man working on my car didn't agree with what a previous shop told me about the holes in the tires (which I never mentioned to them beforehand)...I just said the old tire with the rim is in the back. He came up front asking the funny man in the front it was okay to check it out as to why 10 places were circles from Kal Tire which I saw right before Christmas Break...the only reason it did not get a new tire that day was because they did not have it in stock right before I had to fly home (Canadian Tire told me the same thing and insisted I get a new tire right there and then). He said it was up to him with what he does back there but he was good with it. He ended up finding 1 nail hole (which is what I thought initially since I was able to fill it with air and drive on it for a month without even having signs of it being a little flat) while the others were small cracks from the air trying to escape and such from the nail/pressure, etc...all things I really don't understand. He patched my tire and put it back on. $39 with tax for the patch with super friendly, fast, and quality service. I was going to spend $279 without tax for a new tire...this was what every tire shop in Saskatoon told me but they couldn't get the tire until 2-5 days after the fact. This shop was awesome and honest. I will be using it from now on. I am a student and I really appreciated how much money they saved me. They could have sold me the tire, took the old one and patched it and sold it...which they didn't. Other shops do this and it is sad. They don't realize how that small act really helped me out. I was able to purchase a textbook that was mandatory for a class I have this term and buy some groceries for the month. This might not have possible without the great service provided by this shop. 10/10 recommend.

Should of called and asked for price prior... with a name like value you would think pricing would be reasonable.... wrong... they charge $38 to change A tire.... my regular tire guy is R&T autosales who has very reasonable pricing... wish i would of waited a day... shop around guys most places are around 20 to 26$ a tire to mount and balance i paid 84$ to have 2 tires changed could of got all 4 done at R&T for same price... what a ripoff wish there was an option for zero stars

What incredible customer service! After lots of shopping around and research for our winter tire purchase, we found Value Tire to have the best tires for the best price. Not only that, but they also had reasonable tire storage rates. I called to make an appointment on a weekend, and they offered me a time slot 1 hour before they opened so I could get in as soon as possible. They also gave me a ride home and picked me up while my car was being serviced. One of the owners even came to pick me up herself! The whole experience was really pleasant. It's clear that these people value your business. I'll be recommending them to all of my friends who need tires.

went in for tire balancing, the guy said the front struts also needs to be replaced and cost 1100$, but later my car dealership said the struts are in more than perfect condition. VT are just trying to rip you off beware

We came into value tire at about 1130 am on a saturday, our tire had blown out on the highway and the thought of another 800km on our donut left me with chills. NOT TO BE WORRIED, Gordon and the crew here at value tire worked extremly hard to get us an affordable and safe option to getting us back on the road. Ive never actually experienced a tire shop with this kind of work ethic and concern for its customers.
