Very fast and efficient. By far the cheapest option for finding new tires that I've found. From walking in the door, to choosing a new set of tires and having them installed, was under an hour all around, faster than I was anticipating and that was with them removing a broken lugnut as well. Tyrell was great, definitely one of the best guys there and very helpful. *My pleasure. I just wanted to add that I really appreciated how great Brett was to deal with when there was an issue with the first tires purchased. It took 2.5 hours for a tire change and none of the employees except for 1 were wearing masks. When I asked the lady at the counter to put her mask on so I could talk to her she rolled her eyes. Edit: The appointment was for noon, they didn't start until 1:30 and took an hour to change 4 tires on rims. And it's interesting that the owner said nothing about the lack of masks.

Good tire shop. Had a minor issue with pressure sensor, they fixed it and retorqued the tires in under ten minutes and I was back on my way. Price is better than competitors by about 5-8% I found. Service is good and the staff are helpful and friendly, unlike their competitors, who's name we shall just say starts with "Canadian" and ends with "Tire".

I second the great service comments. This place doesn't up-sell you and they even have an amazing selection of used tires. I once had a sidewall puncture that was not repairable on a tire with 75% wear left and they had a replacement for about 30% of the cost of a new one. Highly recommended.

They get you in, work fast and efficiently and you're done. Make an appointment and its even more efficient! So, they're local, fast, friendly, specialized, and here's the kicker: no hidden costs. Came in to get a new tire for my old Camry. The place is usually crowded, however they still manage to get the job done for you. The buddy there show me options of used tires for my vehicle and give me a discount too. It took him just 15 mins to snap the tire on and finish everything. They also offer to re torque lug nuts after 25 km for free. The price is very reasonable and the service is fast. I highly recommend this business !

Love this shop! I went to two different tire shops to mount my 3 piece wheels which are very uncommon in Saskatoon. They had no clue how to mount the tires and were just playing around with my wheels. Even had the nerve to charge me $$ for their failed attempt and lied about problems. I went to A1 and Taryn installed them perfectly and knew exactly what he was doing! He unmounted, changed the tires and remounted it under an hour. I was throughly impressed. He was very knowledgeable and explained the whole process to me. The price point was crazy good for all the work that had to be done to mount my wheels. Poor experience. Girls on the phone and at the front great. Clowns in the bays apparently don't like each other. Lots of swearing and f-bombs, sounded close to actually fighting. Sat in the bay unacknowledged for 5 minutes, then left. Too much competition on tires in Saskatoon, going to use their price to haggle at one of their competitors. But was disappointed with my last visit after spending $800.00 on new tires and they didn't even do a wheel alignment after it was all said and done. Every other shop i called when pricing out the job the wheel alignment was included with the tires. I forgot to ask them that question, my bad, lesson learned & will definitly be going some where else for my next set of tires.

Absolutely furious with this company!! I bought tires last summer from A1 Tire & Wheel. I was made to believe I was buying all-season tires, it was warm outside so I trusted this company and never thought they would sell me winter tires. Now my "all-season" tires are extremely worn due to driving them for an entire summer. What a waste of money! Watch out for these scammers. I've realised they will do anything to sell something they don't want sitting around.

I went in to buy 4 used tires for my 2007 Cobalt and picked out 2 matching tires for the front and different 2 matching tires for the rear from their storage area. I was told that there was 60-70% tred left on them and that was fine with me. I paid $260 installed for all 4. They were fine the first day but then starting the second day they started riding really rough and bumpy. I tried changing the air pressure in them and rotating them but that didn't work at all. I went and bought some brand new tires from somewhere else and decided to return these to A1 and see what they would give me for them ( 3 weeks later). When I took them out of my vehicle and showed him the tires that they had just sold me 3 weeks earlier, he said they were junk and the tred was worn right down and that he would give me $20 for them. Not $20 for each tire, $20 total for all 4. I was furious and told him that I had just bought these from him for $260 and now he is saying that they are junk. So, basically admitting that they sold me junk tires and lied about the tred on them. I will never ever deal with these people again and I strongly recommend not going there for anything. They are just there to scam you.

I blew a tire last night on the drive home so I decided to call around to see what it would cost me to replace it. A1 tire gave me by far the best quote so I decided to run down since I work near by, I walked in to the front office with my wheel and flat tire and was helped immediately. I was taken to the back where they store the tires, the guy actually found an identical tire to mine, make, model, size and even the wear was comparable to the tires left on my car. Once I selected the tire I went up front to pay while they put the new tire on my rim. In all I spent $74 and maybe 10 minutes of my day for an exact match to my other 3 tires. This was a way better experience than I expected, it was cheap and easy and everyone was very friendly.

After wasting several hours driving to Competitors after phoning and being told just to stop by, and when I got there informed there was a four hour wait, I was frustrated by the time I got to A!! But right from the initial phone call and being told to come by, then showing up and directed immediately to Bay 7, where they assessed my tire, sold me one used one, the same type and wear as my other three, they got me up and running in less than an hour, in spite of their shop being fully of customers and all bays full. thanks so much for the awesome service, I will never go anywhere else again.

This was the only place I had gone for my tires and they were always great, until the last time I went...they put snow tires on my rims and a half hour later my service tire system came on the dash...I went back and they told me that all four sensors on my tires needed to be replaced...I found that odd and couldn't afford to do that right then...today, I am at a new tire shop where they are putting on new all season tires and they told me the sensors are fine, just needed to be reset, that's how it is with chevs...you would think that they would've known that, I'll never go back.

I cannot recommend A-1 Tire highly enough! I have been purchasing tires here for more than two decades for multiple vehicles and never have I been disappointed! Their commitment to customer service is second to no one! And given their huge volume of used tires (I believe they may be the largest used tire dealer in Canada) they can almost certainly find a solution for anyone. To my knowledge they are one of the last tire shops that take drop-ins. That is very encouraging given tire trouble is never "scheduled"! If you go to A-1, you can be confident that you will not be pressured to buy something that you don't need. Keep up the good work guys!

I'm giving 3 stars because I stopped in on Saturday to get my winter tires changed over & the guys finished in 45 minutes which was great timing, however I come back on Monday to get them retorqued and found out they didn't properly install my front tire. I dealt with Brett whom helped me and was very nice - they couldn't fix my tire that day so I had to come back the next morning to drop it off - they got another worker to drive me to work and back at the end of the day to pick up my vehicle. It's just concerning & scary to know I was driving on the highway a bunch with a loose tire. I also called to check if they were able to fix it the next day & the receptionist told me they didn't even have my car in the shop LOL! Telling me I must have the wrong shop but ended up finding it. However, glad they fixed it, just hope that this doesn't happen again and the workers are trained properly, make sure they double check their work before customers drive off. One thing that was nice, is the gentleman who gave me a ride, did retorque my car for me so I didn't have to make a third trip. I'll have to think about coming back next season to get them changed or not here. Sorry for the long review, just being honest.

Passing through the privince went in for replacement of tire on rim (off car) was told it would be 2 hour waited. Watched after 2 hours as NO ONE was using tire machine for a solid half hour. Asked if tire was ready. I was told it was not and would be ready by the end of the day. 3.5 hour wait. Didn't so much as offer 5% discount for long wait. Would not recommend to anyone in a hurry.

**edit at bottom ** this was a one star review but not anymore For the most part I've had great experiences with A1. This year however has been a downer. I ordered two brand new sets of winter tires, one for my vehicle and one for the vehicle of my employee. The ones I ordered for myself I requested to get the tires studded and put on rims and then booked an appointment so I could be quickly in and out. I even booked the time off work to make this appointment. The appointment took almost two hours which to me if they put the tires on rims it shouldn't have taken nearly this long. Then when I got home and actually looked at the tires they didn't stud them!! They even made me put down a deposit on the tires so they could stud them ahead of time. I double checked my receipt and sure enough the studding was on there and charged to me. I'll be calling Monday so they can try and rectify this. If they don't try hard to win me back this will be my last visit that me and my company makes to A1 tire. I've been a customer for ten years. *** the owner has fixed the situation for me *** I will continue to use A1 tire.
