Would like to update my prior rating. I did not have a great experience the first time I went here as I am pretty generally uncomfortable in any transaction involving my vehicle and repairs. As someone who knows very little about cars it can be easy to feel like you're being upsold or taken advantage of when a mechanic suddenly tells you there's something wrong with a car you felt was driving perfectly fine. However I discussed this misunderstanding with the owner/manager today and he was very direct and understanding of my concerns. Had an oil change today and left feeling satisfied and with both the work and the service.

My Husband & I have been dealing with Goodyear in Sarnia for about 30 years + and have always been treated great, never left unsatisfied. I have stopped in for what I thought was a problem and turned out to be nothing (more than once) they checked me out and sent me on my way no charge. This place knows how to deal with respect to it's customers and I have witnessed many other customers having problems over the years and they to have been dealt with the respect they deserve. I don't/won't go anywhere else unless I have bought a new vehicle and have to go where my warranty permits but once it is complete I faithfully go to Goodyear. I have to say a car we bought for my daughter 3 years ago and we had a problem with the car and the warranted place couldn't solve the problem where we were told to take the car under warranty, it was costing about $1,000.00 or more each every time in which was picked up by warranty but the car wasn't reliable "we had to take her car there under warranty" and three trips in and a couple thousand later they couldn't fix it, said we had to live with it more or less SO I TOOK it to Goodyear just to see if they could help out. NOT only did they look at the car they they found the problem within 20 minutes and fixed the problem. We had that little car three years and it turned out to be very reliable. I could go on & on about this "Great Business" and our "Great Service" over the many years but I will just say GOODYEAR is my place of choice for car repair for the three vehicles we own. So i brought my truck for an alignment which cost $69 plus tax. They snapped the nut on my control arm so they couldent do the alignment which happends with old parts but i said id change the control arm my self since i work in a diesel mechanic shop. When it came to the bill they charged me $77 for doing nothing to my truck just broke a part. When i got there a older gentleman (in his 70s) was in for a oil change they told him about some parts that they said was 50% warn out and in my opinion pushed to have them changed which his oil change cost him allmost $900

Beyond appalled at this place. Charged me double what the dealership charges. Dealership price for seasonal tire change (not on rims): $60 Goodyear price: $120 Only went her because the dealership wad unable to gethe me in before a road trip. Never going back.
