Amazing service, can’t say enough good things about Jason! We were camping and broke down on the highway had to get towed into PA picked them randomly out of the phone book they squeezed us in and had our car looked at diagnosed and fixed in just a couple of hours and also drove us to a shopping area so we could kill time and picked us up when our car was done. Great customer service, well above and beyond!!!

Told my mom she needed new brake pads and rotors on a vehicle only a few years old -and gave an estimate of $600. My uncle checked for her when she went to visit him out of town. Her rotors were completely fine! My uncle put some new brake pads on. It cost $50 and took 20 min. These guys are crooks. Gus's used to be the busiest place in town until the owner passed away a few years ago. It was packed with customers every single day. Now it's half the size and still empty. They guy who took it over is a fool for trying to stiff people. This city is small enough that word travels fast. It's a damn shame what happened to this place.

Brought my car in for an unrelated electrical problem, I was about to pick up my car when the service technician who worked on my car showed up with a bubble chart of various colored transmission fluid and an alleged sample of my fluid. It was a pink color but the service tech and the service advisor Jason said it needed a transmission flush because the fluid didn't pass the "color" test. They gave me the impression that my tranny was on its last legs. I fell for it, only to learn later from documentaries on Marketplace, and other programs and articles that this is a typical "wallet flush" scam used by shady repair shops to sell unnecessary services. According to the dealers and car manufacturers, following the service schedule in the owner's manual is all that is needed for your transmission maintenance. I wouldn't bring my vehicle to Gus's even if it cured cancer.
