These guys are crooks. Took my car in for a e-test and it failed. Called back the same day to reschedule and they told me their tester was broken. Wouldn't give me a refund. Took it to Canadian tire and it passed.

I always come here for any repairs and oil changes. Their pricing is way below other quotes I've received. They're not super busy so it's nice to be able to call for an appointment and not have to wait days to get in. They always treat me with respect and the one younger mechanic (Frankie) assured me he took extra caution with a larger repair I recently had. I trust these guys. I feel like they do care unlike some of the super busy places who treat you like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to give them your money. These guys work hard for their money and always have a smile on their face. Give Port Auto a shot and support local families that bring jobs to our town. This is my honest opinion after having them work on 3 of my vehicles in the last 2 years. And every repair has been verified to be needed by other mechanics , and each time I've saved ALOT of money My last one I was quoted $1600 at another shop in town. I paid $750 at Port auto for the exact same job. So ya - I'll stand by that. Edit. My last visit before I moved away from port Colborne I was a full time caregiver taking care of my grandmother in Welland. I hired someone to watch my grandmother to get a repair done at port auto. I received a phone call while my vehicle was on the hoist that my grandmother had fallen . I was hysterical , but my vehicle was torn apart for the repair. Frank came over and calmed me down and handed me the keys to his OWN vehicle to boot it to Welland to get to my grandmother. I’ll never, ever forget that. These guys go above and beyond. which is why I’ll still drive out of town to see them for repairs.

To begin with I am very hard to please, especially when it comes to mechanics and my vehicles. Stopped in to talk to the guys before I brought the vehicle in. This is when I met Frankie. I explained the situation that was going on ( now you need to know that although I am not a mechanic, I have been working on cars for 40+ years) and their diagnosis was the same as what I had come up with. Frankie quoted out the job, *** WHICH WAS VERY VERY REASONABLE ***. I made arrangements to get the car there so they could start working on it. Car arrived, with me following a short time later. I walked in and the place was Dark ... I'm thinking afternoon nap time, LOL ... Nope, Port Colborne was powerless (lasted about 6 hours). Frankie called me first thing in the morning and let me know they had started the job and knowing that I wanted to see the issue first hand allowed me to come down and check it out. YEP, sure enough we were correct in the diagnosis. These guys are VERY Friendly, VERY Courteous and VERY Respectful. I have FINALLY found a place that I can trust to do the job, do it right, and do the little things that should be done (such as cleaning corrosion from wiring or checking fluids BEFORE the vehicle leaves) You guys have my business, and I will be sending ALL my vehicles to you as well as letting EVERYONE I know to take their vehicles to you. Vehicle went in 100%,came back parts missing when I told them all cotter pins are missing. They told me you do not need the pins ,not necessary . same thing with rotor screw they said don't worry your tire holds the rotor in place. I wonder what else is out there with parts missing.
