I like this repair shop because they don't charge you to take a look at your car. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They take good care of my vehicles. Prices for repairs seem standard. They gave me a discount on my oil change when I had a few other things done at the same time.

Went based off a recommendation and was very let down by their service and treatment of my wife. Went to get winter tires and rims, and only got the tires put on. When my wife asked them if her tires were in the car they said yes. It turns out she looked in her trunk and there was nothing there, so she went back inside and they had thrown them in the dumpster. She was made to feel like she was inconveniencing them when asking for them back. They had to get them out of the dumpster and into our car. No apologies from the mechanic side and she was made to feel small. A very unfortunate encounter.

My friend and his wife came to pick me up from the bus the Friday of the long weekend and his battery was losing power when he turned the key off...it had been the 3rd time this happened that day. So we got one more boost and called Niagara Battery and Tire and asked if we could bring the vehicle there to get fixed...immediately they said to bring it out to them, even though it was a long weekend. . They just happened to be there. So we got it there and they gave my friend a van to drive around till his car got fixed. So, I want to say thank you Niagara Battery and Tire for going extra mile , it was much appreciated by all of us

Well I have two reviews to write actually.. Last year I went into Niagara Battery and Tire because I drive a lot in the community and needed tires that were able to handle the road conditions. They sold me Toyo tires; however, I was looking along the lines of Good year, or something similar. They told me that Toyo would be perfect for me, I said ok... 1 week after the tires were put on, I needed to add air in the tires about 3 times.. so I took it back.. they checked the tire and the guy came out and told me that there was a stone in the tire, which I did not see, and that the next time thy would charge me for the repair.. Does this sound like a good tire for driving in the community.. you answer that question. this was in November 2014 Next I went in not even a year later in June 2014 because my tires were losing air again, this time the tire cut me, so I knew something was wrong. June 6 2015I brought my car in, and the guy told me it was my tie rod, which had been changed 4 times prior to that at the Dodge Dealership under warranty in 2014. Niagara Battery and Tires said that my tires were not covered because it was the car tie rods that caused the damage. They also told me that I needed a wheel alignment with the tie rods at a cost of total labor and parts 320.00. It is now November 25 and low and behold now a little over 5 months later I need new tie rods again. I checked online and ac delco tie rods cost 35.96 a piece. they put on Pacifica tie rods and wrote that I got a discount of 51.95 and paid 88.00 for two. Niagara Battery and Tire used to be a good place to take my car, but lately they have become I don't know an untrustworthy company. Very disappointed in them.. I will never take my car to them again.. Suzanne

Thoroughly disappointed with recent work at this shop and their lack of P.R. in dealing with customer inquiries. Overcharged me on two different occasions. First to change out winter tires to summer tires. Second most recently, charging my A/C system. I completed another quote in Burlington, ON which came in at $124 tax in. So I figured every shop was relatively the same. I made the mistake of sending my wife to Niagara Battery & Tire Welland. The bill came in at $210 for the exact same service and I specifically told them why the A/C needed to be charged (I knew the exact reason). They over charged on everything and especially the labour which only took them less than a half hour to do. Previous experiences in the past were decent but not in my last two dealings. I called to give them opportunity to fix, they didn't and unfortunately for them lost a good customer and many others now.

Horrible advice and service! Went to change my winter tires to summer and the quality of work was horrible. They forgot to balance one of the tires and it was making noise....and worst of all they didn't tell me that my wheels are out of alignment because of the way my winter tires wore out! I suspect they want me to destroy my tires so I go back there for new ones... I DON"T THINK SO! I took it to the dealership where they charge a little extra but I get quality service!

Brought in a van that was not shifting properly. They tested it and said it was a brake problem. Said that I needed new pads rotors etc roughly 700$. Took 2 days. They did the work. I picked up the van and attempted to drive it home.... It still was not shifting properly. Brought it back. They had it overnight again, apparently the issue was a blown fuse. So all said and done they misdiagnosed a blown fuse as needing an entire brake replacement costing me 700$ more than necessary. No apology was given.

Brought a couple tires to be installed there, was quoted one price over the phone, but was told they charge more when I arrived there. They agreed to price match what I was told over the phone but noticed a couple days later they installed one directional tire backwards. How does a "tire shop" mount a directional tire backwards? Really frustrating and I didn't take a receipt because I figured I wouldn't need it for just having 2 tires installed, not even balanced.

I had ordered a cab to NF Hospital to return after a procedure. I prepaid for the return trip. The lady who picked me up was very nice, the cab clean even smelled clean, and social distancing was totally acceptable. Horror of horrors - I was not allowed to take a cab home. A friend or family member who would stay with me for a few hours to see I was okay. I had no problem picking up a refund including tip. I would recommend Grand Taxi to everyone. they scratch my rims trying to mount tires on if you have nice rims don't bring them there they will just scratch them and say ideally you dont scratch rims when installing tires but it happens. Got my money back but have 2 messed up rims.

My vehicle was taken to this shop for a suspected wheel bearing change or tire balancing issue. The shop was able to look at the vehicle same day the issue was called in. These guys detected that my vehicle did not need either of the suspected repairs and that one of the tires was actually missing lug nuts and was close to falling off (as the result of another shop's work in town). These guys repaired the vehicle and refused to accept any payment for their services when it was picked up. Have used them in the past and for sure will be using their services in the future. Will highly recommend to family and friends in the area.

Terrible shop, dont waste your time. They cant even pump up tires properly, the passenger side of my truck was at 75psi and the driver side was at 55psi. All they did was pull a nail and plug if. And on top of that i was there almost 2hrs and it was empty. I had to release pressure before even leaving the shop, Dangerous in my opinion. If you value your familys life, take your vehicle somewere reputable.

Is there a rating lower than 1 star? I have bought tires here before. I brought my vehicle in because of a tire noise. They told me it could only be a wheel bearing. When I brought it to a competent mechanic, he confirmed the tire was damaged and replaced it successfully. If tires are their business, I would expect they could detect a tire failure. During a more recent experience, I have never been treated so poorly by a sales person. I called for a quote on snow tires and rims for 2 vehicles. After I told him my vehicles, he felt that I couldn't tell him my tires sizes quickly enough. He rudely told me to call back when I have my information together and hung up on me. Lots of better places to get your tires. Customer service is not a priority here.

I live in Dunnville work 5 days a week in Niagara but not close enough to get to one of the Niagara locations during regular hours. I ordered my tires in advance, brought my winter rims in two days earlier so the tires could get mounted. I showed up today Saturday the tires had not been ordered,two hours katrr my car still sits outside. You could fill a thimbal with the amount of customrr service at the Welland location.
