I was ripped off by another shop for exhaust issues and Murdoch's was amazing at showing me what was done, what needed to be done and giving me a realistic estimate of actually fixing the problem. I have never once felt looked down on (I'm a short woman so it happens a lot) and everything has always been explained for me. They alway make sure my concerns are addressed. I was in the market for a newer vehicle and they took the time to talk about what issues are prevalent in each vehicle I was looking at to be sure I was making a good choice. It is such a relief to have a shop I can trust. I can't recommend these guys enough!

Swing by Murdoch's early on a Saturday morning due to a slow leak in my left rear tire. Despite the shop being busy they took me right away tire was removed patched tested and balanced and out the door within an hour at a very reasonable price. Thanks guys for helping me out of a jam

Going over some reviews and realised my review was removed 2 years ago i brought my car to murdoch's to get a simple job done. So i thought. I brought in a 2015 hyundia elantra to get a simple battery installed when we relized we have been waiting over 45mins, hmm that seems long for a battery job,well your right it was after an hour the managaer comes to us to tell us he had an employee back into my car leaving a huge dent inthe rear quarter pannel and scratched the after market rims . And that was ok untill i noticed they had the backseats folded down and things moved around because they were trying to pop it out and cover it up before even telling us it happend. After all that we discused murdochs paying for repairs from a automotive collision buisness and mr murdoch was only willing to cover the 1000$ so he could pay cash and not deal with insurance or have his premuim go up i said id work with him but the cheapest i could find was 1700$ Unfortunatly he wouldnt pay so we had to go through police and insurance and because he wanted to be picky with proces we went to the best intown like we do if in a accident and it came to tripple he wanted to pay . Id stay clear or this place 0/5 stars if i could. Lol and not to mention i still had to pay full price on the battery

Came here to get new tires put on my rims, when picking up the car I noticed large chunks and many scratches on the rim (fresh gouges, scratches and scrapes around the outer width of the aluminum rim), in addition to paint transfer on my passenger side from a red car. I brought this up with the management who told me they'd look at the security camera about the paint transfer and get back to me (which they never did). They then told me they didn't cause the damage to the rims because "they have a 10k machine for this reason". Sure that's great if the person working it knows how to properly use it. I will never ever go here again, I have recommended many people here and will be sure to notify them to look elsewhere. If you have aluminum or after market rims you care about, don't go here.

I booked an appointment to get a new rear barring and waited an hour on the day of to figure out they didn’t have the right part and weren’t going to charge me for there time. I’m very disappointed with the service, and will be sure not to waste any more time and money with them. Very disappointed.

They changed my winter to summer - did not fill air in the summer tires - drove away with 24 psi instead of 40 psi……now changing my summer tires to winter and they have put the lugs on at about 150 psi—instead of 90 psi- which ended in breaking my wheel Lock - leading to further issues ….setting me back another 100$ - WILL NEVER revisit - Highly disappointed….

They wouldn't even give me a quote for a mechanical job. She said I get quotes but don't get the work done. I have had work done there before and since she arrived there. Plus I just spent Over $700 in October 2018. I have no problems with there work just a certain persons attitude. If they don't want to give me a quote on a mechanical job, then they can't have my business for any future jobs. Will take my business elsewhere!

Use to be the only place I'd take my tires to be changed. But the work quality seems to be decreasing. Would not recommend if you do not like your rims scraped with screwdrivers & bead sealer all over the sidewall of new tires. Aside from that fast turn around time's, good balancing, and no leaking tires. Sad to see good small business's turn out this way.

Went for a basic tire balance was told I needed $230 of mechanics work, but they would still do the balancing. Charged me for it. I went to my mechanic, he showed me what they said needed to be fixed, and it was perfect. No problem with it at all. I then went to Tiretrackers and paid for a balance (now my 2nd time paying for it in a week). They have laser precision machines and showed me that 2 of the tires that were supposedly done by Murdochs were off by approx. 1oz each. They did the balance after showing me the results, and sure enough - problem solved. Never needed the $230 of mechanical work Murdochs tried to sell me and they charged me for a tire balancing that was never even done (I had suspected it was't done after I left because the amount of time they actually had the truck in the shop just didn't add up to a proper balancing). I had bought the tires brand new from Murdochs approx. 6-months prior to this, and had always trusted them. After this experience, I will only be dealing with Tiretrackers from now on.

Canadian tire couldn't help me, they referred me to Thruway Muffler who doesn't do tires lol. Thruway recommended Murdoch's Tire & Automotive. I was assisted promptly and treated with respect and understanding. They didn't try to up sell me anything, and replaced my flat tire in less than 30 minutes without an appointment. I was stranded in Port Colborne and had to make it back to Kingston in time to pick up my daughter. I couldn't have made it back in time, or safely without their help. Honest people, honest business, I wish there was a Murdoch's here.

So, I must admit I was a bit disappointed. Had my winter tires replaced with 4 new Bridgestone tires. After spending over 800 dollars it would of been nice of the mechanic to wash down the summer rims.. Other than that it was fine.
