Love's is sort of like taking a step back in time, when a garage was all about making sure your vehicle does what it's supposed to and not much else. This shop is locked in a time long ago - but the great thing about that is it means service comes with a smile, a gentleman's handshake and advice you can trust. No frills, no BS, just great service.

Ok- need to give credit where credit is due. This one is for Bobby. Long story short my tire kept leaking during a drive from Kingston to Peterborough. Wouldnt hold air for more then an hour . I stopped in here, didnt call, didnt have appointment, and asked the man working if he could help. He was busy and immediately took my car in the shop to take a look. Tire came off and he showed me there was no way it could be fixed ( It had already been plugged same spot) I'd need another tire. This can sometimes be costly even for a used tire, plus needing it onto my rim etc. He had a tire on within 10 minutes and charged me WAY less then it would have been anywhere else I was shocked and relieved as didnt really plan on paying for a tire replacement on my trip. He was so kind and could see I was relieved to have it fixed, but for him to take me in on the spot and have my car safe within minutes really made me appreciate this place even more.. Old fashion work ethics and quality work from a down to earth guy.. Thankyou Again Bobby for making my trip a safe one. Highly recommend.

Made an appointment to get tires mounted and balanced a couple days in advance, and showed up to be informed that they didn't have enough wheel weights. I asked why I wasn't given a call about this to save me driving 40 minutes, and the guy placed blame on somebody else. In my experience, this place is amateur at best, and cant even take ownership of their own mistakes.

This is a TRUE tire shop. The way a local buisness ought to be operated. Now. Im a repeat customer but I have tried the other guys. They are cash only but don't let that scare you. They can work with you to get the job done. The best bang for your buck.

Had quite an awful experience today with Love Tires. I had called the previous night to set up an appointment for winter tires. They quoted me 300$+tax for a set of used winter's and told me I could get then put on the following day. I drove through an awful storm to get there and when I arrived they had told me they didn't have the used tires and told me they could only do new at 580$+ tax. Normally I wouldn't be upset, but they had told me that the tires were there for my appointment. I have never had to write a bad review about a local business and it upsets me greatly that I had to today.

This is simply an awesome local business with the community at its heart. They have what is at best described as fair pricing and in actuality, I will call it the "Love Pricing". The proprietor also loves to aid anyone who may struggle meeting up with the required tire. I believe that their customer relations is what stands them ou and I saw a sign "We still believe in the old fashioned an honest man's word is his bond." That for me is quality. Kudos guys for your professionalism. Highly recommended.

The whole family goes here to get our tires changed and the service is incredible. I've never seen a more organized group of guys. They can change a tire faster than anyone I've ever seen, and they're good at what they do, no rough handling, or sloppy work. Would recommend to anyone, but probably get an appointment, they're popular.

I go here twice a year to get my tires changed. The service at Love's has always been fast, well priced, and reliable. Make sure to call in ahead of time to book your appointment, as they get quite busy during peak season. Payment is by cash or cheque only.
