(Translated) We are 3 travelers who are very dissatisfied with the customer service at "hotel" La Normandie. We arrived the day before last night around 9 p.m. in Percé looking for a place to spend the night. We ended up finding a room at La Normandie. A very nice lady at the reception makes a gesture of goodwill and explains to us that normally a fee of 12 dollars (HT) should be applied but that, given our tight budget, the hotel accepts that we pay for 2 people, free of charge (which makes sense since the room would have been unoccupied otherwise). In short, we settle the bill, go and sleep in our room. The next morning, when returning the keys, we find Marita at the reception who notices that there are 3 of us and claims fees for the 3rd person. We explain the situation to her and describe the person who received us yesterday so that she can contact her but she refuses and has kept repeating "no I have to charge the costs of the 3rd person in the invoice", strongly questioning our good faith and integrity. We insist by pointing out to him that we had already paid the bill yesterday and that this proves the agreement made the day before but it remains on the same speech. So we end up paying the expenses of the 3rd person which were not foreseen. We find this behavior aberrant and it highlights the lack of organization, communication and importance given to customers. Nous sommes arrivées avant hier soir vers 21h à Percé à la recherche d'un endroit où passer la nuit. Nous avons fini par trouver une chambre à La Normandie. Une dame très gentille à l'accueil fait un geste commercial et nous explique que normalement des frais de 12 dollars (HT) devraient être appliqués mais qu'au vu de notre budget serré l'hôtel accepte que l'on paye pour 2 personnes, sans frais (ce qui est logique puisque la chambre aurait été inoccupée autrement). Bref, nous réglons la facture, allons dormir dans notre chambre. Le lendemain matin, au moment de rendre les clés, nous tombons sur Marita à l'accueil qui remarque donc que nous sommes 3 et nous réclame des frais pour la 3ème personne. Nous lui expliquons la situation et décrivons la personne qui nous a reçues hier pour qu'elle la contacte mais elle refuse et n'a cessé de répéter "non je dois charger les frais de la 3ème personne dans la facture" en remettant fortement en cause notre bonne foi et intégrité. Nous insistons en lui faisant remarquer que nous avions déjà payé la facture hier et que cela prouve bien l'accord fait la veille mais elle reste sur le même discours. Nous finissons donc par payer les frais de la 3ème personne qui n'étaient pas prévus. Nous trouvons ce comportement aberrant et cela met bien en exergue le manque d'organisation, de communication et d'importance donnée à la clientèle.

Nice hotel with a beautiful view on the water, close to the bars and cafes. Friendly staff on reception. The only thing that makes a stay a bit uncomfortable is the rules mentioned almost everywhere, which is a bit of a pressure. It is also a bit hot without air conditioner. But all the rest is fine. Enjoy your stay and splendid view!

My husband and I went for dinner here. The hotel is very nice and the restaurant is classy. We both had the lobster linguine which was absolutely delicious, especially after a long day of hiking on Bonaventure Island. The service was impeccable and we felt very safe (COVID), they had a good protocol in place. We would definitely recommend.
