This place was great. I just needed to have my summer tires swapped for my winter tires. I called them up to find out how much it would be and found out it was definitely a better deal than everywhere else I checked. I called back a short while later and didn't get through, but they called me back within 10 minutes. They managed to fit me in that day and were able to get my tires switched over in just over an hour, and did a very good job. Couldn't have asked for better service. Very friendly and respectful, nice waiting area with wifi, mobile device charging, and a tv. My only complaint would be that they pushed a little harder than I would like to get feedback and reviews.

Clean storefront and shop. Professional staff. Competitive pricing. As with ANY Used Tire depot, visually inspect the tires yourself before purchase. The set I purchased had a nail that the sales guy did not communicate to the balance/mount tech. I therefore had to ask twice to have the nail removed and the tire patched properly before mounting. Otherwise, all said, I would use them again.

I called around a few shops to compare prices, these guys had the best prices. I thought to myself what's the catch? Ended up going to check them out and believe it or not there was no catch. Just an honest business that's not trying to gauge their customers with inflated prices. Not only was the owner/manager Zeed extremely helpful, his entire staff were so polite and professional I was honestly taken back by how well I was treated. As long as these guys are around I will never go to another tire shop.

I advise that you read this before going there. Today, I went there to get my winter tires put on. I did not have an appointment and they were nice enough to squeeze me in even though they were incredibility busy. After the installation and paying the fee, I went back inside my car. Before leaving, I wanted to make sure that they placed my old tires (the tires that I had on the car before). I didn't see any tires inside the car or in the trunk. Then I asked the person who took care of me (I think it was the owner) where my tires were. He asked one of his worker and the worker said, "We threw them away." Then I got really annoyed when I heard that. The owner showed me about tires from 5 different cars and asked, "Which one is yours?" How on Earth am I suppose to know which ones mine? It was their responsibility to keep my old tires safe. The owner then said, "Raahim, you should have told me that you wanted to keep the tires." Who tells the tire shop that they want to keep the old tires when they are getting winter tires put? Also note, I was NOT compensated with the charge either. They were throwing those tires away! The owner then tells me "Look, here are all the tires. Pick yours. They are all worn out and yours were worn out too and that's why we threw them away" Who gave them permission to throw my old tires away? Even if they tires had been at the legal limit or even passed it, who still gives them the right to throw my tires away without my permission? As I was annoyed, I got angry and with a loud voice, I said, "Give me my old tires back." They were not sure which of them were mine and the owner kept asking me to pick them. Then I told the owner, "OK, fine, do whatever you want. I am going back inside your shop and I will tell everyone what you did." Then he blocked the entrance to the shop. He said, "As soon as you step inside, I will call the cops on you." Then I told him, "Yes, go ahead. Call the cops. Do whatever you want." And as expected, he never called the cops. At the end, I grabbed the 4 tires which I think were mine and brought it home. All the tires they had me pick from were in VERY bad shape and I am confident my old tires were NOT that bad. I will be looking into what I can do more now and I might launch an official complaint against this tire shop. Anyway, I just wanted to warn you. First, I highly advise you to not to go to this place. Second, no matter what tire shop you go to, make sure that you create a marking on your old tires as well as your winter tires so they don't mix them up. Hope this helps.

since i recently purchase a 2020 toyota corolla, i have been shopping around for winter tires, i first look at the toyota dealership for a set of rims and tires and saw that the price was just not really fair since it was about 899 dollars for a set of basic cheap brand tires, i then found Mr Tire Ottawa on google and decided to get a quote from them, the service i received for the purchasing and ordering was just absolutely easy and amazing, i got a set of blizzaks with 4 steel rims for 1090$ all included, the team was just fantastic and easy to work with and will find you great deals if you need them, so far i have no complaint and it was nothing but extremely friendly and professional service, lots of shops and buisness could learn from these guys.

During busy tire-changing season, they were able to give me an appointment in the afternoon on the same day when I called in the morning. The service was exceptionally friendly, they had a kid-friendly nature TV show on when we got there, Zeed offered my kids Timbits, and the tire change itself was very fast. Mr. Tires changed our tires (that were on rims) for $50, which seems to be an average/ reasonable rate.

Excellent service, unbeatable prices, very good choice of used or new tires. Used tires are in "Almost new" condition. We had a leak on one of our recently installed used tire and went back for them to fix it. It turned out that I had a micro crack in my rim which was causing the problem. They work almost 40 minutes to find the leak and even if it was not their tire that had an issue, they did not charged me. They definitely found a returning customer with me! Thanks again Mr. Tire!!

What a find! Zeed (the owner) is an amazing guy. Really nice and Honest guy. Gave me a great deal on some amazing Toyo tires! Good customer service, attentive to your needs and tons of inventory to choose from. Fast installation. Keep in mind that because these are great deals, they are very much solicitated and in demand, so these guys work hard and are ultra busy... so there are sometimes lineups... But trust me it's worth the wait. :) Will not hesitate to send my family and friends there.

My SUV was vibrating while driving over 80km on the highway yesterday and after doing some simple check on my vehicle I've narrowed down the problem to my tires. About 2pm on Saturday 22nd of January I decided to call a few shops to rebalance my wheels. None had availability or staff on hand. ( Understandable it's a Saturday and -25). Then I call Mr.Tires Ottawa and was pleasantly asked if I could be at the shop before 3pm. I said certainly as I was at my restaurant in the Byward Market. I was there within 20 minutes and my truck was driven into the shop. I was informed what they'll do and I felt very comfortable. Fast forward to about 30 minutes and the work was completed. They went above and beyond to correctly reinstall my tires ( incorrectly installed by another shop last year) balanced and correct air pressure in my tires. Fair price. You've gained me as a Happy customer.

Bought 4 tires from this store at the beginning of the winter season for a reasonable price had great initial customer service from the front of house clerk. I explained to him that I had issues with my front left tire and he referred me to a local mechanic for an alignment. Seeing that it could have been an alignment issue I brought it in and they had to do it twice over. A month after the alignment my front left tires started balding and I couldn’t figure out what it was. Despite that I called Mr. Tires to see if I can pick up 1 tire from them but the person I spoke to did not want to sell me one tire. His explanation was that he can’t sell me tires unless I bought a minimum set of 2. Kinda defeats the purpose of running a tire shop. That being said my frustration started escalating so instead of going to a local mechanic I brought my SUV to a certified BMW technician. After completing their diagnostic, I was informed that my tire valve stem was leaking (a 7 dollars piece) was not replaced and caused over 2000 dollars worth of damage to my suspension, upper and lower control arm. I would not use the service they provide for tire swapping since the tire techs couldn’t catch a simple valve stem. I was holding off posting this but the employee who answered the phone and tried to make me feel stupid and telling me that cars don’t drive on 3 wheels. Very rude and unprofessional.

*Updated below - I called for winter tires 255/70/17 and was told $400 installed and balanced. When I got there they showed me the tires. They were used which was not said on the phone. I was trying to save some money after losing my truck in an accident which had new winters on but cannot recover. He said good for 2 winters still. I said ok. The shop was empty so I was the only one in it was not busy. It took about an hour. I have a brand new truck a 2021 that I got the night previous. When I got my truck back and looked the tires are actually 265/55/17 not what I actually called for. They very badly scratched all the paint off my rims changing the tires and left grease marks on my white truck. And 2 of the tires are more much more worn than the other 2. Also when I went to pay they were not sure how to get it down to the quoted price. I am not impressed to say the least. Would not recommend. *Update - I went back to the GMC dealership because the tires were noisy and shaking. The dealership stated the 2 front tires were worn unevenly and on the wear bars 2/32 meaning legally bald. The also noticed the tires still had some studs in them meaning they were once studded tires which are ILLEGAL in Ontario. I had them remove all 4 of the tires Mr.Tires installed and put on the original ones. I went back to Mr.Tires with the tires furious and told them I wanted my money back as they sold me bald and Illegal studded tires. They would not take them back or make it right. They do not honor their 30 day warranty nor can their employees even do refunds. The manager Zeed has to which he is never there and will not return phone calls! DO NOT BUY THIS GUY IS A SCAMMER!!!!

I came for a winter tire change. They took off my summer tires and saw that some of my winter tires are flawed and unsafe. They wanted to reach a compromisation of selling me new tires and getting rid of the ones I had. I insisted the tires are safe but since they didn't wanna put them on, I told them to put back the summer tires and that's when they wanted to charge me money just for removing the summer tires and refusing to put on the winter tires. Eventually, we disputed and agreed to have the winter tires on but the guy put only 3 on and then I left to another mechanic to deal with this matter. The other mechanic I went for at Used Tires on Bank Street said that my winter tires are fine and even put a protective sealant at no extra cost after telling him about what happened with the mechanics at Mr. Tire. Also some of the staff at Mr. Tire are quite rude and tend to be disrespectful with bad tempers if you go there before their closing time.

I bought 2 used tires for the front of my 1 ton pickup from them. I told them I had to have an E rated tire & was assured by Yazeed that he was putting an E rated tire on my truck. One of the tires failed on a major road at 120 KPH & it turned out that the tires they sold me were only C rated! Fortunately, no one was injured, Mr Tires Ottawa refused to take responsibility & I had to sue. The lawsuit was resolved in my favour & they paid me over 400% of the original tire cost. Stay away from these guys.

TLDR; good selection, prompt service, for a good price. ???????????????????? ---------------- After pulling out my all-season tires this spring to have them swapped out for the snow tires on my 2014 Kia Rondo, I realized that the sidewall of one of them was damaged. So I needed to replace that tire and the other one in the set of 2. I looked at buying new tires, but those were pretty expensive and I don't drive that much so I thought I could live with used tires, which I had in the past on my other vehicle. I looked at Kijiji, but there were none the right size, and that looked like they were in good condition. I called a few other used tire places, but none had the size I needed or were able to accommodate me soon. I called Mr. Tires and they had the size of tires I needed, in good condition, for a fair retail price, and they could work me in immediately. When I got to the store I was served promptly, and the tires were installed on my car in no time. They took my 2 old tires off the rims, put the new tires on rims, installed all the tires on the car and balanced them - all for only $50. I can barely get my winters and all-seasons swapped for that! If you're looking for a less expensive way to replace your tires, and you need it done right away, I would certainly recommend Mr. Tires. ????????????????????

Bought four winter tires a year ago. Service was great, and very friendly. However, once they were installed, there was an alignment issue that I did not have before. I was recommended by them to go to the shop around the corner to get it fixed, which was relatively inexpensive to do. A year later, and even without driving the car as much during the winter, I notice the tires are very worn. I bring the car for a check to the dealership and my fear became a reality. I had to buy 4 new sets of tires, because the ones I had were a safety issue. And unfortunately the alignment was done properly as well, so I had to pay for a second one in less than a year. As I said, very friendly service, and cheaply priced, but you get what you pay for, so unfortunately I had to remove my 5 star review and give them a 2.

Make sure you book a specific appointment time!!! I didn't care what time specifically because I was dropping it off in the morning and picking it up after work (after calling them the previous day and being told to bring it in because they had openings - and confirming with them that I would bring it), so I left it up to them to slot it in. It didn't get done because "I didn't have an appointment"... I would've been better off to arbitrarily say "1:42pm in the afternoon please". After that confusion, they booked an appointment (at a specific time!!) the next day and I was happy with the service.

We were hesitant at first as first and foremost, we are girls, and the car industry likes to take advantage of that for purposes of up-selling. And secondly, a set of winter tires are expensive! Mr. Tires did an amazing job at installing my tires, as well as addressing every single one of my concerns afterwards. I really appreciated the dedication they showed towards costumer service. I am truly sick and tired of dealing with tire shops that are always out to get your money, especially when it comes to used tires. Although the prices for used tires at Mr. Tires are generally higher than average on the market, the way that they treated me throughout the entire process definitely made it worth my while. I bought a set of great used tires, which the team cleaned, installed, and balanced within a half an hour. After the installation, the owner took my car for a ride to make sure that everything was in check. After the test drive, he pointed out that one of the tires had a bump or bulge sticking out, which I didn’t notice, even after clearly inspecting the tire job. He mentioned that this may be a safety concern, and immediately followed by finding a replacement tire that fully matched the set, with the brand, as well as the thread. He replaced the defective tire at no charge within the next 10 minutes. I really hope that tire shops in Ottawa learn from the way Mr. Tires approches their clients. Great experience, would definitely recommend.

Someone I know called these guys on my behalf and were quoted $340 for four new Bridgestone Tires, and were told they would be good for 4 years. I called later to confirm that price, and they informed me that for $340 the tires would be used, and good for only 2 years, and new Bridgestone tires are over $800. I am changing my initial review from 3 years ago. New Review : Sept. 17, 2019 After it was suggested to me to balance all 4 tires, the car starts to vibrate at 60 kph. I noticed that there are strips of counter weights on each wheel. It seems that their balancing machine is out of specs or not calibrated. I brought my car the next day to another tire service shop, all the strips of counter weights was removed and there is only 1 or 2 counter weights per tire and the vibration is gone.

The hit and run driver left the scene. After two days we are left with a damaged car, no tire change, and a hit and run police report. When we questioned the garage owner as to why our car was still parked in the same hit and run spot and he had not changed the tires, he was rude, used profanities and told us to leave. Do not leave your car unattended at this garage under any circumstances.

The owner Zeed had told me he would install four brand new Michelin tires and quoted me a price for$ 1025.00. After they installed the tires I came to discover they were not brand new and were in fact used tires . I confronted him about it and he said they are used but In good condition but that’s not what we agreed on. Long story short I told him I want my old tires back on and he messed up my bolts on purpose while he was putting my tires back. He’s very unprofessional, I’m positive he’s done this to others numerous times because he was not apologetic and said the police cannot do anything about it. It was HORRIBLE !! They over torqued all tires on me, which then caused TWELVE studs to sheer off while driving on the 401 highway at 114 km/h !! Changing tires is usually such a tedious experience but I visited Mr Tires for the first time last week to mount and balance some tires I picked up elsewhere. Good price and the lads were very courteous and pleasant to deal with. With two of them working on my wheels, one mounting and the other balancing, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, wow! They even charged a bit less than they quoted over the phone. Will be happy to recommend and bring future business.

Went to see these guys last week. Zeed's is transparent in his customer service delivery and his techs are THOROUGH in their work. They let me walk the warehouse floor and inspect the tires myself offering helpful input on my tire selections. All tires were in EXCELLENT CONDITION, no cracks or dried out tires. The lobby was well looked after, comfortable seating and air conditioned. I've worked as a service adviser at a garage and I can tell you based on the interactions I experienced and observed: These guys run a business that CARES ABOUT CUSTOMER RETENTION.I asked Zeed to check my tires and he was honest with me about the condition of my previous set, suggesting that I get only two new ones in the winter. I will be a return customer.

If you think tire changing is a basic service and that everybody does the same kind of job then you are wrong. I’ve been to this place three times already and I’m not going any place else until I no longer drive. They have top-of-the-line equipment knowledgable employees and offer other services. I needed tires at one point but didn’t have the money for brand new ones. With them I found a set of used nice condition tires for a very reasonable price. I had no issues with those tires or any valve stem leak like one of these guys in the reviews was talking about. Perhaps that guy with a bad review should check the mechanics he was dealing with who made him fix $2000 worth of stuff before somebody found the actual problem was the tire valve leak. Mr. tires is the spot to go if you’re looking for a good deal on some good tires or if you want to switch your tires over quickly without having to wait a week. Their pricing is very reasonable The place is clean these guys are doing it right.

Don't buy tires from this place. Reply to owner response. You are wrong, the tires were changed at the end of winter in March. You told me on the phone it was because of my driving. Now you are trying to say it is because I waited too long to change tires (not true). Reality is, you sold me bad tires. Falls 2020, I bought a set of winter tires. It was installed by Mr Tire Ottawa. Spring 2021, I brought the vehicle to a mechanic to change from Winter to Summer tires. The mechanic told me your winter tires are unsafe and not road condition. Whoever sold you the tires ripped you off. I called Mr. Tire Ottawa and spoke to them. It was said that it is because of my driving. I drive for 15 years and this is the first time it happened to me. You better find a realiable Tire source when changing your tire. This place is going to rip you off.

He gave me an amazing price on tires, on top of that he swapped the rims from my old tires in no time at all. He was actually able to fit me in between their appointments immediately. Which was exactly what I wanted: a no stress, just walk in and have it done, tire change. I got there, Zeed was super friendly, took the car, and it was all done in minutes. Tire change, air pressure check and top up, and rebalance - and all for $60 + tax. Mine were already on rims, and so anyone reading knows, he said it would have been $80 + tax if they weren't. All around, a great place. They were quick, they were friendly, have good prices, and they seem to care a lot. I'm happy I found them.

Very dissapointed I had winter tire changed two months ago . They didnt install tires properly so the driver (my 8 months pregnant wife)called me complaining of loud noise coming from the front driver wheel.I went to canadian tire and they told me that the wheels were falling off! This could cause the wheel to detach any minute and endangered my wife and her baby life.they should have put the right lugnut torque and do it properly the first time ,also Im going to re-do the balance cause it was done in a hurry ...just make sure and check everything they do on your vehicle .

Found a great set of winter tires that were very affordable. Quick and great service. Ended up with a nail in the tire two weeks later. Brought it back and he offered the repair for free. Will definitely be back in the summer time.
