Worst tire shop, no value for customer's time or inconvenience at all. Gave me an appointment but technician never showed up so gave me second one and when I went there for second time I was told they can't do my wheels as they're low profile. Owner of the had such an attitude as if it's my fault, they should be asking what tires I have before giving me an appointment.

The first time service wasn't the greatest but today I had exceptional service my tires got replaced at no cost as I had to get a tow truck to their shop... which sucks as now I paid $300 for a tow truck and two used tires... other than that ok service The only good thing about this shop is the receptionist she's polite and understanding ! :)

I would go here in the past to get my winter and summer tires changed, however the last time I went this Spring I noticed 4 distinct depressions in the running board of my car in the area where they placed the jack. When I confronted them, they showed me where they placed the jack, however I suspect it was caused by the handle of the jack and where it was resting on the car. 4 new dents that weren't there before. I wouldn't use them and anyone that has, I'd check for these spots on your vechicals.

Zero Stars. I normally don't write reviews. Not my style. But what happened to me today I felt compelled to write about my experience with Bloor tire. I spoke with Sheldon over the phone to change my new summer tires on my summer pre-existing rims. I wanted to confirm that the size was able to be installed since they were low profile rims and tires and based on previous reviews some had some hit and miss success. After telling him the sizes he said they were fine and made the appointment. He agreed to charge $80 no tax for the changeover. For specifics, the rims are Enkei for a Honda Prelude with a 215-40-17 Dunlop Direzza II Star Specs. I bought tires online from tirerack 215-45-17 Bridgestone Potenza RE-71r tires to put on the rims. I confirmed again the sizes were not a problem when Sheldon called to confirm the appointment the morning of. Since it is a small car I needed to make 2 trips because I could not fit the rims with the old tires and the new tires all at the same time. When I arrived I brought out the rims on the first trip. Sheldon took a look at it and still said no problem. I returned 15 minutes later with the tires. When I arrived he took a look at the tires and said based on the size its going to be now $30 a tire for a total of $120. I told him we had an agreement and he refused to honor it. He then started to bring the rims back outside and left them at the front of his business. I didn't argue further or try to make a scene. I told him that I need then to make 2 trips just to bring them back. His response was that he will watch them for me while I'm gone which made me really nervous leaving $1000 dollar rims outside for anyone to just walk up and take. I had no choice but to leave the rims, race back and drop the tires. Luckily the rims were still there when I returned and left without incident. My dash cam recorded the entire interaction incase he ever refuted it, that way I can post it on youtube. First off, I cannot believe the service that he gave me. It was so insulting to make an appointment, agree on a price, make 2 trips and then try to price gouge me by jacking up the price. As well he was not wearing a mask which made me very uncomfortable being close to me considering its a business and we are in a serious covid issue. I was however wearing a mask. Lesson learned. Do not go to this guy with low profile rims or tires. He will try to screw you. Further he said that its not worth taking a chance to change them over for such little money which means that his machine is probably very old and may damage your rims if you have nice ones. After leaving I did go to Trilogy Auto & Tire on Simcoe st in Oshawa. They did put the tires on for $80 as agreed. They put new valve stems on, adhesive magnets instead over the metal weights, even painted them black to match the inside rims and provided new bags for the winter tires. A class service. Head there instead, you won't be sorry. Everyone has different experiences all over the place, but this guy and this place rubbed me the wrong way. Take my review as a warning or dismiss it, your choice and in the end, your rims.

Went and bought 4 used winter tires $750... car was shaking so I took it back. They replace two ties with different ones. Two weeks later driving on the highway with my kids in the car, my car was bouncing all over the place. Turns out the belt in the tire was broken completely bald on one side. Come to find out the tires were over 10 years old! Buyer beware and don’t let these guys fool you like they did to me. How do you sleep at night ripping people off? Your supposed to be the experts and you’re putting people and their families in danger?

I will be recommending Bloor Tire to everyone! I found a screw in my tire less than two hours before I had to leave to take my daughter 2.5 hours away to camp. It was a Sunday, and very few places were open. I called and explained my problem, and was told to bring it down and they would see what they could do. The gentleman took my car in as soon as I arrived, and quickly determined that the screw had not actually come anywhere close to puncturing the tire. He handed me my keys and wished me a safe journey. He was a very professional, courteous person. I will. be bringing my car back the next time I need tires!

Expect what you pay for 120$ for two used from tires. Staff was pretty nice but that's about the only thing I can say. Both the tires I have purchased have leaks that drain my tires every three days. Waste of time, money and business. You might as well buy new tires from Canadian Tire. Because this is a huge hassle.

All of the one star reviews should be the first sign that you should never visit this shop. It's shocking how much damage this guy can do to your car (doesn't lift it right, doesn't tighten bolts, sells unsafe tires)... If this guy had a conscious he would shut down before he kills someone... but nope he gives himself 5-star reviews... plus plenty of fake reviews too.

Do not go there for a tire change. The tire guy there is inexperience and he destroyed my rims. Cost me a $100 to fix. When I showed the owner what his guy did!!!! He said it's my word against theirs. But karma is real.

Do not visit this shop if you value the safety of yourself and your family. This is the kind of dishonest shop that will put making a few dollars ahead of your safety. I purchased two tires from Sheldon Smith who installed tires on my vehicle. Prior to installation I pointed out what I suspected to be a sidewall bubble but Sheldon insisted that the tires were safe to drive on. I trusted his word and drove away. A day later the tire was in obvious need of replacement. So I had to go to another shop and have a new pair of tires installed. The new shop found nails in the tires and couldn't believe that someone would sell tires in such horrible condition. After contacting bloor tire they agreed to refund my money which pales in comparison to the risk they put me at and the time I had to take off of work to deal with a problem that an honest mechanic would have never let happened. I don't see what is 5-star about this shop, I suspect that family and friends are stacking positive reviews (the owner, Sheldon Smith, gave himself a 5 star review which is a bit odd). I would advise others that have had work done at this shop to have their vehicles checked by other mechanics.
