I ran into an issue with my tire was losing pressure quickly. I phoned to see if I could come in and have it looked at..mind you this was at 5:30 on a Friday evening and was told yes they could look at it. When I came Duane checked it out decided it could be patched that I didn't need a new tire. My tire was fixed and I was on the road again in 15 mins! I highly recommend Duane and his team at Auto Tire & Safeties for your car needs. Everyone was super professional..friendly and efficient!

I have had tons of horrible, lots of mediocre, and a few ok experiences with many mechanics throughout GTA and small cities I lived in throughout 30 years of owning my own vehicles. It took me years of being ripped off and over charged to find a decent honest mechanic so I am very bias when it comes to other mechanics. My husband has been going to Dwayne for decades. Dwayne's team are very efficient, good at what they do and for the last 2 years I have experienced great services from Dwayne with my own vehicle and with my husband's 4 vehicles. I have been ripped off for minor jobs with so many mechanics in the past, and I learned fast to be cautious and always wanting a second opinion before I get my car fix. I have to say Dwayne is thorough, honest and incredible at his job. When our cars needed maintenance or repairs we know where to go if we are not in Toronto. I highly recommend giving your business to Dwayne and his team.

I went here because another mechanic had mentioned that it looks like I need new rotors but their price was pretty high. Shopping around I contacted Duane here and found out his price was just over half what the other place wanted for same quality but he wanted to inspect to make sure that they actually needed replacing first. This seems to be his mentality as I observed with another patron when I was dropping off my vehicle, when a service was requested he was inquisitive and wanted to make sure this was the best option instead of just taking easy money that may not be in the best interest of the customer. Great experience with everyone there, seems like a place that knows how to get repeat business with fair honest good quality work.

Of course on my way home from work I hear the pop, followed by clicking in my tire from a friggin nail. I google “tire repair shops”. It’s now 5:30 and 3 are open till 6 in my area. So I drive to the first 2, they tell me they are closing soon...... “can’t do it now”. Then my last try was AutoTire & Safeties. It was now 5:55. Expecting the same result like the I had from the previous shops; I was greeted with friendly staff that without hesitation helped me right away which likely saved me from waking up the next day to a flat tire. Awesome staff and a nice lookin shop. I’ll be going back for sure for any other work. Highly recommended. Thanks AutoTire & Safeties !!!!

Aug 2020 - went there to have an oil change for my second car that I do not drive much. was told my summer tires are done. Duane advised I do not need to buy new summer tires as I'm not driving the car that much. He did the oil change and put the winter tires on the car but charged me only for the oil change. did not try to up sell me on the tires. absolutely amazing and honest guy !! PS - Emma is super helpful and awesome :) Nov 2019 - Honest people and great staff. From the front desk to the mechanics, these guys know their stuff. I always go there for my winter tires and oil change. Fair prices and great service !!

This place is beyond amazing !! I had the utmost pleasure dealing with Dwane as well the fabulous Service Advisor (Emma I think... I am trully sorry if i got your name wrong) I needed to get two rim leaking tires fixed...I called around and since it's the season to price gauge (thank you active green and ross) companies didn't dissapoint.. asking upto $50 per tire... what a joke!! I just happened to find this place .. The Service Advisor Emma told me that getting the tires fixed would not be a problem what so ever... not only did the job get done fast... I was given an awesome price Nothing close to what the crooks in other shops were asking. Dwane also fixed another shops mistake that installed my directional tire the wrong way free of charge. Just got back from this place and had to give back somehow. Today was the second time the owner helped me out when I was in a crunch. First time he fit me in about a year ago when I had a flat and 3 other bald tires and got me in on a Saturday morning. Today - second encounter, I had a nail/screw in my tire and again fit me into their schedule, plugged the tire and had me on my way for the long weekend. I went to other tire shops where the prices plus install and balance plus recycle fee would have cost me 1500 plus. At AutoTire and Safety they did all this for the price Canadian Tire wanted just for the tires, and that was tax included. And they gave me a ride home so I didn't have to wait In the store for my car to be ready. Also I asked for a new TPS for my tire, but they found the old one worked just needed to be programed, they could've lied to me i wouldn't have known the difference. But they were honest, which is huge with me when it comes to repeat business. These folks are totally Awesome!!!! I will buy from them again and tell all my friends to go there. And finally great value for the price!

I was sent to these guys by a very good friend of mine who has been a long time customer.I have been to other local shops and have been not happy with the service at all. I pull up to this place and rate away I knew these people really care about their appearance and only gets better when you get inside.(clean beyond clean) I meet the owner Duane he takes my information gets me into the system and tell him i`m there for a brake issue in my truck.He asked me to leave it to take the time to go over it being a first time customer,then gives me a ride home. Hour and half later Duane calls me with the problem, quote already to go and says If i need a ride back he will come get me. From start to finish workmanship, honesty, pricing and professionalism. All my car and truck needs will be brought to use from now on.

5 star location and service, the owner and staff are incredibly professional. My first time visiting this shop for purchasing winter tires and the owner managed to save me 1100$ from my several previous quotes in the area. I have a slightly sporty car and the quotes on wheels I recieved from other locations were incredibly high due to the sizing. I had some noise in the front passenger side, and occasionally squeaking brakes when you back up. I decided to call Auto Tire & Safeties. Emma answered all of my questions and booked my appointment. On the day, they did a thorough check and called to let me know the recommended work, the price and whether I wanted to proceed. I did, and picked up my 8 year old SUV and the handling/steering/braking was outstanding. it was the best solid drive it has been in years. We had a problem with our Kia not starting occasionally and we took it to Auto Tires & safeties. They spent a long time diagnosing the problem and it turned out to be two things. A bad battery and a key with a loose chip in it. After all their work, they billed us for only the battery and we had the after-market key fixed by the guy who made it. Honest quality service and reasonable prices. What more do you need?

Had the Touareg in for brakes, and the owner actually gave me a lift home and picked me up because the parts had to come from a jobber depot. Brought my red Nissan Cube in today last minute at 5pm because I had a leak in my tire and was driving on that beautiful donut tire. As a young lady it can be intimidating going to an auto shop because let’s be real, it’s easy to rip us off. But the second I walked through the shop door Duane greeted me with a big smile like I’ve been a customer for 10 years. I was instantly comfortable and relaxed to be there. It was like I was talking to my dad about whats wrong with my car. Brandon fixed my tire and was very quick and efficient. I don’t think I could have received better service and I’ll be returning soon to continue my service via my front brakes. Don’t bother asking around for prices either because you won’t beat this place when it comes to prices and service! 10/10 will be back!

I was referred to Auto Tire & Safeties by my car dealership, Davey Auto. Dropped my car off this morning and couldn't be happier with the service I received. Brought it in to have the A/C repaired, which they did, and on top of that they took it upon themselves to repair a sensor for one of my tires - I only noticed because the annoying tire pressure service light was off when I drove the car home. You can look around for years for a good trustworthy mechanic pumping out cash and at times not getting a resolve to your problem. I had a major oil leak that needed desperate attention. The staff that I spoke to were very friendly. The owner took a look at it, free of cost, then even made a couple of recommendations as to where I could get the work done. At this point the vehicle was not driveable and he allowed me to keep the vehicle parked for a couple of days while I figured out what I wanted to do. We did not end going with the recommendations, simply because they couldn't get to the repairs quick enough, but the owner was super understanding of this! I will definitely be going back here for future needs!!

Duane and his crew are the best! I've been taking my car to him exclusively for 6+ yrs, and even though I moved to Toronto a few years back it's always worth the drive to have ATS work on my car - they are trustworthy, efficient, considerate, and reasonably priced. Service is always next level and the waiting area is very comfy...if you're looking for a solid mechanic I highly recommend giving them a call.
