I was in a jam with 1 of tires and they squeezed me in within minutes. Took a little long. One problem is the older gentleman (owners ex husband or so I was told) that was there starting yelling at the 1 guy fixing my tire ... then said " PEOPLE IN OSHAWA ARE IDIOTS, all they wanna do is rush and we can't do that here" Very unprofessional on his part when he is the one that said he could just pull my truck up outside to get it done quickly. I will not return to that tire shop again. The 2 other workers where great ????

Have visited a few times. Bought tires once, mediocre experience but the price was right. Second time I was told they couldn't find what they were looking for and they'd call me when they did, never got a call back. Seems very disorganized, office smelled overpoweringly of cigarette smoke.

Wont be back, Just noticed all 4 rims were scratched badly in the process of removal and intallation of new tires. My car was mint, now the rims need new powder coating. Nice people but they need training on a tire machine.. If you care about the detail of your car this is not the place..

I will never, ever go back to A1 tires. They "fix" your tires, tell you that you have a 30 day warranty. The next day when your tire is flat again and you go back in they tell you its not their not fault and they won't honour the guarantee and make you pay full price again!!! The guy who was plugging my tires even admitted that the nail that caused the leak was pushed in through my tire, and that it was there the other day when they originally "fixed" it. The owner refused to honour the guarantee 30 days!

Terrible customer service. Lady who answered phone doesn't understand basic English. Took 15 minutes for her to get my tire size right. Then after she finnally heard it right she hung the phone up. Do not recommend.

Save your yourself the hassle and get your tires done somewhere else. I have 2 personal experiences dealing with Michelle and her shop, both experiences left me with time wasted and me going somewhere else. What a joke.

Do not do business with Michelle. She sold me brand new winter tires and rims for over $700 and had her husband who is not a licensed technician install them. 1 year later I took my vehicle to my manufacturer dealership to swap my summers off for my winters and was informed by their licensed technician that the rims sold to me by Michelle do not properly fit and that whoever installed them should have known. So the technician had refused to install them for my safety. However they were kind enough to wave the extra labor cost to just swap my rims. Aggravated by this ordeal I obviously called Michelle (Owner of A1 Tires) the following day. I tried to be as diplomatic as possible explaining all that had happened to her but she hung up on me, the customer who had a complaint about the illegal business that was conducted a year ago just to make a sale. They Jeopardized my life and they jeopardized my vehicle and when I called her to politely ask her to do something about the matter and she hung up on me. Furious now I show up to the establishment with the rims and receipts, the manufacturer dealership report and asked her again if she would do anything about the matter and i quote she said "That's not my problem, you're crazy if you think i am giving you a refund or exchanging the rims, sell them on Kijiji" and began to avoid me like an embarrassed child in her own shop. Pathetic. I will be suing. I hope you all stop supporting her business. She is scum.

Luv this lady. Got great tires at a good price. The owner is always very nice and accommodating. I’ve bought tires a few times and never had any problems with them. She ever gave me a free cold water as it was very hot that day and 1 for the tow truck guy. I do recommend her to family and friends too.

A1 Crooks I was told they have a set of 4 all season for $300.00. When I got there they had to go get them. All 4 tires had cracks running horizontally between the treads. I declined on them and then he showed me a set that had very little tread left on them and wanted $150.00 installed. What a joke!!!

A1 Tire is an excellent place to purchase tires. I purchased a set of used tire there and after installing had had a real bad vibration. Took car back to Ray and he reblance tires But was still getting a vibration a few weeks later. I returned to A1 and spoke to Ray and Michelle they recheck the vehicle and tires. Turned out the two back tires the belts had shifted. Without any hassle Michele refunded me for all four tires. And put the refund towards 4 brand new tires.At a Excellent price.. Every time I have been around there shop They treat all there customers with friendly respectful service. Ray is very professional and pleasant. And Michele treats you like you are somebody. It hard to find business people Like that these days.. I would recommend A1 to anyone. Thank You For The Excellent Service God Bless.
