Canadian tire is having huge warehouses. Drivers participate a lot in it. But Canadian tire can not provide a single microwave for the drivers in all warehouses. Very shameful.

There are no washrooms available for truck drivers. This was made law, by Doug Ford, for ALL SHIPPERS/RECEIVERS in Ontario. Porta Potties, are not considered a washroom & even then, these are not available

Great place to work for now, definently no careers here though. Even If you ignore the fact that everyone in a manger/ crew lead position is related to someone else higher up in the company i Would not want to be the one responsible for the building haha. Over twice as many workers as brampton DC and less than half of the work gets done. And it gets worse everyday as they keeping adding things to the warehouse that prove to be inefficient, and sticking to their guns that somehow it will work eventually. They aslo refuse to take any advice from the workers into how the building is run, even the senior workers that have been there longer than most of the people that make these decisions. Its almost as if it was setup to fail. All of this combined with amazon and online competition. I say canadian tire is the next sears within 5 years. But what do i know right? im just a warehouse worker. The people that sit in the office all day and have never worked the floor in their life seem to have all the answers somehow though.
