The 4 tires were promoted as “brand new”, but when received, the manufacturing stamped date shows August 2017 (3517). My mechanic noticed this discrepancy after mounting and brought it to my attention, stating that the average lifespan of a tire is 5 years and that the stamped date shouldn’t be over a year from date of purchase on a “brand new” tire since the rubber compound of the tires get old, hard, dried out and start to crack which can be a safety hazard.

I ordered 4 GENERAL ALTIMAX ARCTIC 12 215/45 R17 snow tires from 4Tires.ca and was very satisfied with transaction and product. They shipped the very next day from my online order and arrived in either 2 or 3 days from the time i ordered. I was shocked when the truck pulled up and the guy was hauling them out. I did have a 'goto' tire shop locally but have not been very satisfied with them lately so i tried these guys. The price was the best part, after tax and shipping was $717.91. I found a local guy to mount them on rims for $80 cash and now i'm set for at least 5 more winters (more if covid persists), with a premium set of tires. Highly recommend

Ordered steel rims and winter tires for a Honda Odyssey. Would order from them again. Was a little hesistant to order because no centre bore measurement provided on the website. Very pleased with delivery, ordered on Friday and were delivered on Wednesday. Centre bore was the exact size needed, 64.1, which can be difficult to find and usually cost more. Purchased PIRELLI WINTER ICE ZERO FR, all 4 were dated 2719. Tires are very quiet, had to turn off the radio and heating fan, and open the window to hear the very slight hum. Getting a winter trifecta tonight and tomorrow (freezing rain, ice pellets and snow), so they will get a great first test.

I have ordered many sets of tires from 4tires for various vehicles I have personally owned as well for family and friends that aren't too good with cars. Prices are always great and shipping is super fast to me in Brampton, usually 2 days but no longer than 5. The only thing that I noticed is sometimes the dates on the tires don't all match, or the tires I ordered are already a year old, but for the price and convenience, im satisfied.

Many of their websites had no pricing and some that did were deceptive about fees. 4Tires was great! A big truck left 4 new tires on my doorstep in 1 or 2 business days that I tossed in my trunk and dropped off at my trusted local mechanic who installed the same day. Done faster, saved ~$300.

He then took a picture of the tires at the side of the house and text me to tell me that delivery has been completed. Great service and communication! I ordered Michelin X-ICE tires, aftermarket 19” rims plus TPMS sensors. Shipping was slow, but understandable due to supply chain issues everyone is facing. They shipped the tires and rims packaged so perfectly I almost didn’t want to open them (seriously!). Bought 4 Continental Extreme contact DWS for my BMW. Tires had to be force matched due to excessive vibrations. Tires still under warranty and only used 8k kms. I was asked to buy new tires first and then send back the used ones in order to start warranty process which can take several weeks. Rubbish policy. Never buying it from your website again and not recommending it to anyone else. To folks reading my review - if you buy it from their website and product is good then thats good. But if at all you run into warranty issues, good luck getting replacements coz its never gonna happen.

Great customer service. The wheels I ordered were on the Wrong size rims. They were prompt at picking up the wrong rims and provided a timely refund for the rims. My tires are great and I doubt I could find a better price. I can't comment on the balancing and rim installation as I had to replace the rims at my own shop. I ordered two sets of winter tires and rims for my vehicles this season. I wanted to be ready since it usually starts snowing the end of October right through til April - and it never seems to stop! I placed my order online, and while I got an immediate confirmation of my order being received, I’ll admit it was a little unsettling not hearing anything else. I decided to wait a week before trying to contact 4tires by phone, however that morning up drove the delivery truck - with eight tires properly mounted and balanced on rims ready to go! Even did the directional mounting properly too! Very impressed! Saved a ton of money too! While providing tracking info would be more helpful, I received exactly what I wanted and paid for! Kudos 4tires!!!

I called before to see if they had them in stock and I placed the order on a Friday. They were here at my door in Niagara, ON, the next week Tuesday by 5 PM. These tires are currently listed at $313/piece at Canadian Tire (previously around $350). 4Tires.ca has them for $255/piece and with their online discount of 7%, they were less than $240 a piece! Do NOT BUY TIRES FROM HERE. We ordered winter tires and they arrived on Monday. As we were getting them put on by our mechanic we noticed that one was significantly flat. He pumped air in it and 2 days later as I was driving home from work I began noticing that my car wasn't driving properly. I got out and checked and that same tire was flat again! Only having the tire for 5 days and it has been flat now 3 times! My husband contacted Tires4U and they responded so unprofessionally telling him to take the tire to a mechanic and find out if it is a valve, rim or tire problem. Problem with that is that many of the mechanics in our area will charge us more money to assess the tire. IT IS MY BELIEF THAT WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY ANY MORE MONEY TO ASSESS IF A BRAND NEW PRODUCT IS IN WORKING/GOOD CONDITION...SINCE IT IS ALREADY SHOWING SIGNS THAT ITS DEFECTIVE WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS! We emailled them telling them that it's ridiculous to ask a customer to pay more money to assess a brand new product and they emailled back saying that all the mechanic has to do is spray something on the tire. Regardless of how easy it will be for the mechanic that is still more money coming out of our pocket and time to fix a problem that TIRES4U created! Not to mention that we paid money to have the tires put on, and now to replace the tire that is flat and will have to pay money to have someone take it off and put a new one on. They keep mentioning that once the tires have been assessed "they can take care of it." Which doesnt solve the problem in the slightest! All we have asked them to do is send us a new tire or give us a refund and we could send the defective one back...and all they have done is asked is to spend more money and time solving a problem they created by selling us a tire that doesnt keep in air. This company has no concern for customer unsatisfaction and driver safety.If their solution is to continue to put drivers at risk, ask customers to pay more money to assess their problems and put time into fixing and correcting their problems. 4Tires.ca is great to deal with. The website is well organized and makes ordering very easy. Delivery is very fast. My only minor complaint is with the courier used in my area (Halifax, NS). Both times I have used your service, the tires were attempted to be delivered the day before the tracking stated which meant I was not at home (I was prepared to be home the following day) and they were returned to the courier's warehouse. Early delivery is usually a good thing but in this case it meant I had to either arrange a different delivery day several days later or drive to pick them up myself 25 min away. This eliminates the convenience of having them delivered to my door, which was a factor in my decision to first use the site. Other than that, I will continue to use your service. Cheers

Ordered some RE71R's in 245/40/17 (front set) and 255/40/17 (rear set) just before the spring season this year. The company is a Canadian outfit so I was more than happy to provide them the business. Shipping was very quick. They would've gotten 5 stars if both sets of tires were manufacturered in roughly the same time frame. The fronts were late 2019 (which is roughly 3-4 months from the time I ordered the tires) but the rears were made in late 2018. I know finding both fronts and rears in a staggered arrangement can be tricky but it would've been nice to know that both sets were made in the same year. If they keep the pricing competitive, I'd buy from them again.

I installed my tires today that I received yesterday. First the tracking is a mess the driver randomly just showed up regardless I was happy to get my rims. Not even 2 hours I installed them my front passenger tire was completely flat .. Iam honestly so upset at the moment I will try to take it back to he mechanic to find out what is happening my guess is the rim is not sitting right with the tire. The tires I’ve bought were exactly as I expected, and for a set of 4 tires, I saved a considerable amount compared to if I had bought them locally. I ordered a winter tire package for my 2015 Nissan Rogue on November 1st 2018. Delivery was on the 8th. Take off 2 days for the weekend and that's 6 business days from order to delivery. Installation was a breeze and more importantly no vibration at highway speed. I can't speak to how good the rubber is but that was my choice; time will tell. Overall, everything was executed perfectly and delivered in a timely fashion. I will definitely use 4tires.ca again. 10 stars out of 5!! Update: I did use 4Tires.ca again this year and again the execution was flawless. I saved over $1200 over total on 2 winter tire packages over what the dealer wanted for 2 vehicles. The product itself is excellent. I’m on the second winter on the Maxtrek M7 package I bought last year and they are great tires. Very satisfied with the speed of delivery, quality of of the product and the price. Removed a star because I was disappointed with the delivery. There is no dispatch notice to inform that the tires are being delivered within a few hours or that day. I wasn't home when the delivery arrived and so the tires were left outside of the security door, where basically any passer by can take the tires. I had to rush home from work to get my tires before someone stole them. The only reason I wouldn't purchase again is that reason.

I ordered 4 new $700 Michelin winter tires for my honda civic. When they arrived the date code read 4016, which means the tires were made 4 years ago. I called and the company agreed to take the tires back via a shipping company. They will give me my money back when they get the tires back. Simple enough. Wrong! It has been well over a week and still no shipping company has picked up the tires. I have had to call several times, been promised they will be picked up only to arrive home with them still here. Lastly, today when I demanded to speak to a different representative to get some answers I was hung up on. I will never use this company again. Dont waste your money. I Bought 4 winter tires here and no shop can get them to balance. Had them balanced 3 times at different shops. They are out of round. Will never order tires online again. The return exchange process is a hassle. Go to local shop. At least they can resolve your problems in person. -The owners sent me 2 replacement tires, however there is still a vast amount of steering wheel shake. Just decided to settle with it. I know it is the tires because I have checked my suspension, rims, bushings, brakes, air pressure and alignment. My summer tires were running smooth a day before installing these tres .

Ordered 2 sets of tires from a gentleman who took my credit card information over the phone, said he'd put the online discount making my total 920$ due to his website having issues. 10 days go by and I'm still not billed. I call my credit card company and the request for 990$ (didn't give me the discount) was made by 4tires.ca and they gave me the reference number. I call 4tires and speak with a woman who takes my information, won't take the credit card reference number though and I tried giving her it twice. She said they'd email or called which they didn't do. I Call back today to speak with the same gentleman. He says he has no record of me in his files. He lost my information, says there's no transaction history and aside from the information the woman took before, he has no record of me. I told him about the credit card reference number, which he wanted, but I already discarded due to the women rejecting it. I ask If I can put in the order again, he says yes. The tires I originally ordered are out of stock now and the ones he's trying to sell me are 25$ more a tire. This two week experience has been a waste of time. Their company dropped the ball in many areas throughout my experience. Would not reccomend

Ordered a winter wheel kit (4 tires + 4 rims) for my 2020 Toyota RAV4 on 18th Sept. 2020. Tires were Ironman Polar Trax Gen 2 225/65R17 made in South Korea. Price was very competitive and included mounting, balancing, and shipping. Wheels were delivered in excellent condition on 24th Sept. 2020. Tire manufacture date was 25th week of 2020 – almost identical to the original Toyo tires fitted to the vehicle. Installation was straightforward (all tires had ~33-34 psi pressure), and the vehicle drives fine with no vibration, pulling, etc. Very happy with the purchase and will definitely shop with 4Tires.ca again in the future.

I have to say I originally posted on here a negative review about this company. I had bought tires on Nov 25 and the schedule date was for Mon Dec7 which I wasn't too thrilled about. For some reason there was a miscommunication with the company and the delivery was missed. After calling and confirming a delivery date for Thursday the 10 they called up and pushed it off to the 15. I was a very unhappy customer and let them know it. Immediately after Emmanuel the boss of the company called me up and said it was a misunderstanding and that he would be sending someone to deliver the tires the same day. Buyers Beware ! First off I generally will support e-commerce and will provide some flexibility for a small business. However, my experience with 4tires.ca has been disappointing. I purchased tires from them at the beginning of Dec. Had issues with one of the wheels and trying to get a resolution has been impossible. I had spoken to multiple people during the off chance i wasn't put on hold then hung up on. After speaking to a 3rd person, they said that they would send me a new wheel and refund me $15 for the cost of installation and balance. After that .. it was crickets. I finally was able to connect with them on the 28th. They first said they didn't speak English, so once I switch to my broken french they were apologetic. They told me the owner would call me the next day. Once i didn't get a call by 3pm, I called again and their office was closed. At this point, i have purchased my own wheel to replace the defective one. So I will not suggest using them, go to costco or a local spot where you can resolve issues in a timely manner.

My husband ordered a set of winter tires and rims for my 2018 kia soul, they arrived in decent timing, we did have an issue with the delivery initially as they said they came by the house and no one answered, when in fact they never bothered and the delivery guy told my husband the next day that he couldn't make it up our street which made absolutely no sense. The third party delivery does have a negative affect on the seller but ultimately we got out order so all is fine now. Tires are on and they are great. I was calling local shops all around and was being quoted at least double what we paid, and the tires were not the same quality as the ones we ordered. With ordering online there is always a risk, as a consumer you have to have the patience to deal with these should something be wrong. Overall we are super happy and have referred several people to the site as well. Thanks for a great deal!

I priced tires at many other places but all wanted around $1,300 installed. I was told about 4tires.ca and had a look at tires on line. There is all different priced tires for you vehicle so it was easy to choose based on performance and price. I was able to order my tires and get them installed at a local shop for $750 and that wasn't the cheapest tires I could of picked. I went with a tire I was familiar with. The tires have been great and the price was great. Delivery time was very fast as well, just 4 days to get them! I'm very impressed and will order all my tires here in the future.

Great prices and decent shipping speeds, but you might get old (but not used) tires. I purchased from 4tires in mid December 2021 and got what at first appeared to be a reasonable price for a set of 4 Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 tires. I received them after about a week and discovered they had a "5317" DOT manufacturing date code, which meant all 4 tires were manufactured December 31, 2017 (4 years ago). I was disappointed to have received such old tires (according to Continental, the rubber has a useful life of up to 19 years, but other guidelines suggest 6 years maximum, so the tires arrived having already been through 40-67% of their life expectancy). I raised the issue with 4tires, and to their credit, they offered me a partial refund of about $15 per tire - not nearly enough to compensate for 40-67% decrease in useful life, but still better than nothing (returning the tires would've meant paying shipping and restocking fees). If you order from them, I'd recommend calling them and specifying that you don't want old stock (I don't expect brand new tires, and would've been fine with 2-year old tires, but 4-years was a bit much). On the plus side, you can avoid the Ontario Stewardship Fee by ordering from 4tires (based in Quebec) and they do ship pretty quickly. I personally would not feel comfortable ordering from them again though.

This would have been 5 stars except for a small glitch. I had ordered 4 Blizzak DM-V2 tires after a lot of price checking. 4Tires had the best price. When I never received notice that the tires were being delivered I called to follow up. I later received an apology email by J-F Baker saying the tires in my size were out of stock and they would reimburse my credit card. I found they had Blizzak LT tires in my size but they were a little more expensive. He matched the price of my original tire purchase and the tires were delivered in 2 days by a very nice Midland driver. I had originally booked my tire mounting and installation for Nov. 1. Because how a company can maintain such a good review in these day and time when everyone looks for every inch to leave a bad feedback. The price were the best I could find. I ordered winter tires and rims from 4tires for my Ford F150 in December. They arrived 10 days later just before Christmas bur when I went to install them the rims did not fit my vehicle. I reviewed my order and my invoice and I had ordered the correct ones for my truck but 4tires had sent me the correct tires but mounted on the wrong rims. I contacted them and they gave me the option to send them back for an exchange or get my money back but it was the Christmas rush and heavy snow was in the forecast. I decided the keep the tires and get some rims locally. This would mean I would no longer be saving any money as the rims were quite a bit more here in town plus the added labour to take the tires off of the rims I had and remount and balance, etc, etc. Long story short I got the new tires and rims installed just in time before the snow hit. I then contacted 4tires and spoke to the warranty people there regarding the extra cost and hassle this all caused and they were great to deal with. They not only apologized they looked after my situation in a more that satisfactory manner. Bottom line is no business is perfect and people make mistakes, the true measure of a business is how they handle these mistakes and I can tell you that 4tires passed with flying colours. I would certainly do business with them again and recommend you that you do too!

After a few attempts he finally set up return shipping which took over a week to complete. The manufacture is recent, about 6 months. The tires are new to Canada, so I wouldn't expect otherwise. IMPORTANT: As of writing this review, I have not mounted the tires. This December I ordered winter tires balanced on steel rims, they arrived in 7 days from placing the order. Got Midland tracking info the day before they came. Best to pick a delivery location where a truck can access easy and they will likely come during regular work hours. My work has a warehouse so having them drop off there was ideal for me. Deliveries listed here were both from Boisbriand, QC to Ottawa. Overall very pleased A+

NOTE: **REVIEW HAS BEEN REVISED AFTER SOLVING ISSUES WITH CARRIER** Note to 4tires.ca: I would suggest finding a new carrier. they seem to be the source of a lot of your issues, and were very quick to throw you under the bus. (twice). thankfully the waybill showed the items had been delivered to the courier when stated and the courier lied. they backtracked after the item was delivered.

I bought set of winter tires (Blizzak WS90) with steel rims for my 2019 RAV4 and they delivered it within 7 days. Not bad for a busy season. The tires are great too as well as the rims. They are the cheapest I can find online and in store. I will order again for my summer tires. Best place to get your tires. The guy from Midland courier was also great! I recommend them!

5 stars for 4tires, 3 stars for the tires.I ordered General Altimax Arctic 12's on rims for my Ford Fusion Energi on Thursday and my tires & rims arrived 7 days later to Ottawa. They messed up on the tracking information sent to me but resolved things and called me back to advise. They didn't email until they day before delivery so don't panic if you don't hear from them right away. You aren't getting ripped off.The installation appears to be well done and balanced properly. They install and balance if you buy 4 rims and 4 tires. This is a savings and convenience. The only complaint I have and take this as a warning....the pressures in my tires ranged from 20 psi to 26 psi. The rating for my car is 35 psi. Most cars are above 30 psi. Be sure to check your tire pressure before driving on your new tires. Too low tire pressure is bad news.Your tire pressure rating is on your door frame for those who don't know. Regarding the tires; These General Altimax Arctic 12's are very quiet on my Ford Fusion Energi but they are lousy in snow. These new Generals don't grip like the previous version. I would not recommend these tires. Very disappointed with this new version. I'll probably sell them next season and buy different tires.

First of all the process for determining which tires you need was very easy. Just input the year and model on their online tool and it tells you exactly what to order. I ordered the tires which I got for a great price and they showed up a few days later. The delivery guy called me in advance to make sure I would be home when he got to my house he placed all 4 tires in my garage. I don't know how it could have gone smoother. This is where I will get all my tires.

Terrible customer service, ordered 4 winter tires on October 27th, got my receipt, still waiting on my delivery date email. Called on Wednesday to find out they are still waiting to be picked up by the carrier. shipped in 2 to 5 days ya right. It been 10 business days. I live about an hours and 10 mins away it would be faster if I went to picked them up but I work 7 days a week. Either shipped them or give me a full refund.

From Ontario GTA and ordered winter SUV 20" tires. This is the third time ordering from 4tires.ca and so happy with the tires choice, shipping and price!! The price is frankly unbeatable and if you live in the shipping zone within Quebec, Ontario, New-Brunswick and Nova Scotia you should very much consider ordering from this company. My experience has been that you receive email confirmation almost immediately but within hours upon ordering then you may not hear for a few days then you will receive a notice of shipping and typically receive the tires the next day following shipping notice. The tires come in a large delivery truck similar to a large moving truck and the driver unloads the tires to your garage.

Tires got shipped right away which is great the problem is the shipping company.tires got shipped out October 23 and it is November 9 and I still don't have them.called the shipping company and they tell me they are still on the shipping floor and they will be shipped tomorrow.unfotunetly tomorrow never comes with this company.was going to order wife's tires here but figured winter would be over before they arrive so I went to Canadian Tire and bought them.i don't have a tracker number I just used my address and name to find my tires

Where to start...??? A truly awful overall experience from 4tires.They cannot get an order right and are incapable of fixing their mistake. The courier they use for delivery is also completely incompetent. When I had to call customer service to correct their mistake, they were extremely rude . Nobody answers the phone and the line gets disconnected, if you are lucky enough to be put on hold. Every time you call they give you completely different information. Would not recommend this place to even my worse enemy. If I was able to give 4 tires zero stars I would, as they are a horrible company!

I have bought online from 4tires multiple times in the past years and was satisfied with their service. I was in the process of making another purchase on Friday but when the advertised WEB-5 did not work I decided to wait until Monday to phone and ask why. When I phoned I was asked if I spoke French and answered no, I was put on hold. When I got to speak to someone I was told the advertised code doesn't always work. To be honest the discount code has never worked for me. I was told your getting free tire mounting and balance. I also mentioned that the price had gone from $1100.52 to $1148.52 since friday and asked if they could do anything. The answer was prices go up and down daily and there was nothing they could do. So my conclusion is they do not value my business and it is time to find another supplier.

Giving 5 star for the refund I received. I ordered 4 set of winter tires and rims. Installed them with balancing started having vibrations. I went to Nissan for vibration diagnostic and they spent hours and hours to find out the issue. First they told me 1 rim is bad so paid them $367 to get new rim and diagnostic charges. Still vibration didn't go away so Nissan did another investigation and found that tires and rims are the problem and they charged me $354 again for diagnostic and told me to do the warranty claim on 4tires.ca . Nissan installed brand new tires from them on my own rims and vibrations went away. That proves that their whole set was bad. Been in touch with debbie and their customer service is very poor. I have sent them all the proofs and with diagnosis done by Nissan and they still say they wont refund me because it is highly unlikely the all tires and rims are bad. They want me to figure out which one is causing the issue. That means I will have to pay someone to put tire and rims one by one and see which one causes the vibrations. Are you kidding me ? That would cost me $1000.. I bought set at price of $800 from them and I have already paid $800 to Nissan for diagnostic of vibration. And on top of it they refuse to refund. Buyers beware if u buy ..you might have to deal with online retailer for issues .. instead go to local shop its worth it because in case of issue they will own it and help you ... Will only change review if they deliver excellent customer service by picking the bad set and refund. Update: Feb 7 received the refund after putting the review ..in the process had to go through the nightmare and $500 diagnostic fee...

Given a couple of the earlier reviews I was a bit nervous, but my experience was just fine. Ordered them on Sunday and they were delivered on Thursday to the GTA (Ontario). They’re definitely brand new and the manufacturing date (detailed on every tire) was less than a year ago, which is great (makes sense that a winter tire made in Dec 2017 would sit until being bought in Oct 2018). The shipping company doesn’t deliver on weekends, which could be an inconvenience for some people. Additionally, I wasn’t given a heads up on the delivery date or given a tracking #, which would have been nice.
