Burning Rubber is the only place I trust to mount rubber on my rare custom built wheels and the only place who isn't too lazy to get my slammed M3 on to an alignment rack (without any damage, too). Overall a good experience, 4.5 stars The good -my call for an wheels balancing appointment was answered promptly -the appointment was scheduled for the same day, in 3 hours from the call -job to be completed while customer is waiting was implied (not like 3 other business that had in their responses “drop off the vehicle and we’ll call when done”) ! -the job started in less than 10min after the vehicle was made available -results of wheels balancing current readings were made available and potential solutions were discussed prior to actual balancing adjustments being applied -Road Force equipment made the difference in this particular wheels balancing case. Two tires needed to be repositioned onto the wheels which resulted in a very good outcome - the vibrations felt only at high speed disappeared almost entirely -very knowledgeable and polite front desk people The “not so” good -instructions to swap wheels based on tires thread size provided in 2 separate occasions (when the keys were dropped off and when the possible solutions were discussed) were missed, the wheels were installed in the same positions as they were found -24 hours after the job the tires pressures was checked and all 4 tires were under-inflated by 3 to 5 psi To conclude, I will continue to use Burning Rubber services only I will review the work done in more detail.

Summary Burning Rubber are great and I will be bringing my car here for all future work. I’ve had three four-wheel-alignments done at main dealers, and the steering wheel was never 100% straight. Burning Rubber got it right first time. Not only is the wheel finally 100% straight, the car actually tracks much better. It actually steers straight effortlessly. Not too much to ask is it? Detail I have a certified pre-owned mk7 GTI and the steering wheel has never been 100% straight. I’ve been driving over 30 years, had 4 GTIs, a TDI an A3 and an A4, and I know dodgy steering when I feel it. I’ve had two different VW dealerships perform a four-wheel-alignment, the third time being a redo when I wasn’t satisfied. It still wasn’t right. I joined a mk7 GTI Facebook group specifically so I could ask for advice on where to go. At this point I had figured that main dealers were not the way to go and that a performance oriented shop where they really care would be the better route. Based on my location, multiple members suggested Burning Rubber. I went there and kind of poured my heart out. I was beginning to think I had to switch brands to get better service and a car with a straight steering wheel. I spoke with the owner, and technician doing the work. They showed me that my car was not only not perfect, but that the alignment wasn’t even to spec. They sorted it and showed me the results. Finally, I’m convinced that my steering wheel is straight. Not only that, the car handles SO much better. Previously, I was using two hands to keep it perfectly in-lane. Now I can use my thumb and index finger at 407 speeds and beyond. What a difference. And it cost less than a main dealer. It’s a no-brainer. Thanks to those mk7 GTI members for the good advice and to Burning Rubber for making my car great again.

I came here on Saturday April 6th from East of the GTA to have a ballasted four wheel allignment done on my NC1 Miata by Alex, on the recommendation of Dave of Dave's Garage. I had bought the car last September and was experiencing both bump steer and a strong tendency to tramline. Since I had just mounted new BFG G-force Comp2s, I knew an alignment was the first order of business. Alex was able to get things very close to the numbers I was looking for, considering the limitations of the stock soggy suspension. WhenI left the shop I could immediately feel the difference - both the tendencies to tramline and bump steer were now gone and in corners, turn-in was immediate with no under or oversteer. I can truly say that these first impressions were spot on, as during the next 5 days and 3800km I drove The Back of the Dragon VA 16, The Snake NC 421, The Tail of the Dragon US129, The Diamondback NC 226A and NC 80 a little gem I stumbled on about 10 miles down the Blue Ridge Parkway from 226A. Thank you very much Alex, great job, she handles much better now.

Amazing - that's the one word that describes Chris and his group at Burning Rubber Tire & Speed. I've gotten 3 sets of tires and rims from Chris and his prices are not only competitive but better than the competition. But more than the price the service they provide for their customers is best. Recently had a flat tire close to when the shop was closing, called Chris to see if he could help me out. He told me not to worry about the closing time let him know when I could be at the shop and he'd be there to help me out. After the tow helped with the change (didn't have a jack in the car) took my car and tire over to his shop, now well past closing hours. The fix was a simple re-seal of the tire on the rim. Cost was next to nothing, but he stayed open just to help me out knowing the season and that no other shop would likely be open at that time just to help me out. So like I said, amazing.

TL;DR I recommend this shop 100% The only negative is that I don't live closer to them! I visited BRTS on a recommendation from an acquaintance, drove almost an hour to go to them, and regret nothing. I was strapped for time to get my car ready for a show THE NEXT DAY and Chris and his team were up for the task and ready to help me. They got my car on new coilover suspension, aligned, new brakes installed, relatively quickly and for a good price. They are also an awesome group who had me laughing the entire day. Once again hats off to Ryan at Burning Rubber today. My Bridgestone Blizzak Runflats lost pressure and went to 0 psi within seconds due to a huge cut. Let take recent example of my forgestar rims which were ordered back in march. There was delays from forgestar big time. But not only chris updated me every week, he also follow up with forgestar to make sure my wheels arrive on time. He does go beyond his limits to do such things to make sure his customers are happy. I was in the market for a set of winter tires and rims. Found Burning Rubber on Kijiji and read all of the extremely positive reviews about this place. Went there and the guy at the one location who provided the product information was very good. He know his product and provided us with options. Great interaction and price was ok. Not the cheapest but we were pleased with the products and the place. We proceeded and was then told we have to go to their other location for the installation which was in the same area. Once we went there for the installation the atmosphere changed significantly. We were told that it would take an hour to mount the tires and such and to come back. That was great but when we got there for the installation we ended up waiting for 3 hours as they did not pre mount the tire on the rims and they were actually backed up with other customers. I don't mind them being backed up but why tell us one thing and then do another. So we wasted lot of time and then was told that we need new hardware so an uplift to the package. At this point the we were committed since they had our rims off the vehicle so not impressed on the up sale making them on of the most expensive options. The service areas was also pretty bad. Unprofessional, disorganized with lots of foul language. Seem like it was a drop in centre for friends of the staff working there.

These guys are great. We ordered snow tires for our new X3-M4.0i and they would be in within a week. My husband pulled out his credit card to provide a deposit, but they said it was not necessary. A week later the tires were installed on new rims with logo rondels and we are really happy with the look, the price, the service and would highly recommend them. i purchased a set of 8,000 rims from Forgeline in Ohio for my 1000hp c5 convertible and needed my michelin sport pilots 345/30/19 mounted but there"s so many hacks in this industry where to go?, i went on my corvette forum and was sent here by others, they did a flawless job not a mark or scuff when done. they even color matched the wheel weights to my rims..... i also went back for 4 wheel align on my bmw 750 it tracks true now and handles great, these guys all have road cars and race in the summer so they are not only tire and wheel techs but they are enthusiasts as well and put their hearts into it, as a mechanic myself i know equipment and the hunter road force balancer and latest laser align rack gets the job done right what I paid: 100 mount balance 150 4 wheel alignment 100 thereafter tune up alignments new set of lug nuts 50 bucks with a socket i also got first rate leather and tire cleaner from germany there you wont see that at canadain tire

The workmanship here is incredible and the price is very reasonable for the perfect quality of the work performed. I had an issue with the wheel balancing and two separate visits to the authorized dealer did not help. They ended up saying it's a fault with the tires. The guys at Burning rubber tire and speed diagnosed the issue with the wheel balancing and rectified it. The car's solid as a rock now on the highway. On top of this, the staff here are very friendly and transparent with the work performed. I'm never going anywhere else again. These guys rock.

I wish I do not go here. Just not good experience from start to finish. Unprofessional, disorganized, small, cold. While there I heard him asking other customers to make 5 star reviews. Lots of foul language, cigarette smoking. Just awful.

It was my first time at Burning Rubber and I had a great experience. Called on Saturday and luckily they had in stock The Michelins PS 4S. Even better, Darryl was nice to fit me in later in the same day. The install was done promptly , using state of the art machines. My hub centric rings were missing and Darryl supplied them at no charge. Off course there is no vibration. Not that I expected any. In short, I received great service for an extremely competitive price. Looking forward to going back there for my winters and repairs to my heavily modified K20.

Chris, Alex and the boys at BR are extremely knowledgeable and very customer service oriented. I recently had my 2018 M2 into their shop for a complete Ohlins coil-over install in addition to new wheels/tires. There was an issue with the supplier and Chris handled it calmly and kept me informed and up to date without the need for any prompt from me. In the end, the guys stayed late into the evening to complete the job on the day it was scheduled. I had a generally great experience at Burning Tires and Rubber. Their prices were competitive and the guys were friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing I would say that went “wrong” is when I asked to ensure the tires were filled to 38psi as that’s is the factory spec and tire shops usually only fill to 35psi. Upon asking I was responded with “our guys always get the pressure right”. While that may be the case in other instances, upon checking my tires I saw it was filled to 35psi; exactly what I had NOT asked for. Regardless, I would go back to them as they are one of the better tire shops I have been to.

When I brought the car in for a new set of tires, they discovered that one of the bolts had already broken, and a second broke as they were changing the tire. The shop did a great job extracting the broken bolts, replaced all the bolts, mounted and installed the new tires in less than 90 minutes. Definitely a good job and a fabulous price.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! These guys have no idea what they’re doing, they jacked up the car in the wrong spot and caused a major dent to the car!!! Such a joke of a mechanic shop!!! Better taking your car somewhere else your car will come out worse than how it went in!! Response to owner: Yes upon reviewing the video you can see your “mechanic” working in a very small space beside a bathroom??? Attempting to wedge a Jack under the car…you saw the car today I don’t even know how you could say the dent is under the driver seat….it’s in the middle of the car. I’ll update the pictures now so everyone else can see. It’s a shame a once reputable shop gets some new people working for it and the honesty, workmanship and integrity go out the window

Great first experience. Wanted some larger diameter alloy wheels and winters for my G70. When I came in there was an issue with clearance around my calipers. Chris up sized my rims to OEM size and gave me a great deal for my trouble. My conversation with him let me know that this guy knows his cars and this will be my future spot for tires.

5 star review for a 5 star shop! Chris and his team have thorough knowledge on tires and cars in general (They build race cars!). I came to this shop for a road force balance on my summer wheel setup after another supposedly 'reputable' shop had messed up a simple mounting and road force balance job on my 2014 BMW 2 series. Needless to say, Chris and his team promptly corrected the issue, and pointed out other issues in my tire setup as well as showed me how they road force balance the tires right in front of me. They went the extra mile & used techniques such as "Force Matching" (tire balancing procedure to match tire with high and low spots of the rim) to ensure I had a smooth ride! Guys, if you own a BMW you know our cars are super insensitive to tire imbalances, so I highly recommend you bring your car here for balancing!

Had a good first experience buying tires. Went back for a wheel balancing and it was awful. Front wheels were off by .75oz & 1oz which resulted in unbearable steering wheel vibration on the highway. Had another shop fix the issue. Jordan who works there is a tool.

Searched all over the GTA for alternatives to the dealer and came across this shop. The staff were very knowledgeable and honest in helping me pick good but affordable products for my BMW. They have a large selection and very good pricing, not sure what more you could ask for. Honest, extremely friendly, approachable and attentive staff, a plethora of experience and knowledge, going way above the call of duty and pointing out other areas of concern on my wheels (bends etc), and amazing pricing. These are just a few ways I would describe my second experience at Burning Rubber Tire & Speed. I had two instances of punctured tires they helped me patch from the inside, over a six month period. The owner is incredible and runs his shop with so much passion and enthusiasm. He hires great staff who work collaboratively as a team and they helped me almost immediately. Not only were they accommodating for my schedule, they did a great job fixing up my tires and giving me expert advice on a new set of tires for next season. These guys know their stuff! I highly recommend their shop. Living in downtown Toronto, I go way out of my way for this type of knowledge and service level and it’s worth every penny and minute of my time! Thanks again guys!
