Tom and his team do great work. All very professional, timely and at fair cost. The personal touch is genuine. With 2 older cars, they’ve kept them running just fine and honestly better than expected, given our vehicles age and our previous experience with either dealers or other auto repair places. When there’s an issue requiring more in depth work or assessment, that is explained clearly and the costs laid out. It’s great to know the mechanics whom will be working on the car. Highly recommended for vehicles new, older or old.

Tom and his team made my Mini fun to drive again. My brakes were squeaking, my rear wiper motor had broken and the car was pulling a lot to the left. I also needed new tyres. Alissa in the office is a joy to work with. She keeps you updated at all stages and is always kind and cheerful. Everything is transparent. You know what is being charged, you have options on parts, they do their absolute best to save you money where they can. I really trust them. This is the very best kind of local neighbourhood garage. They are real professionals and very kind and knowledgeable and treat you with respect whoever you are. They also don't add charges where you don't expect them and help you make good choices that are right for you and your budget. A really nice place to go. My Mini drives so much better now. I am so grateful. They can do cars that the dealers tell you only they can service. I highly recommend this team.

Alyssa got my vehicle in immediately. She explained the procedure for how the repair would be done. The owner took me aside and showed me what could happen if I didn't repair my bearing. They showed me what was wrong, and it made me feel very confident in leaving my car with the team. I was given a loaner to borrow, as it would take a day to get the part. Alyssa called the next morning to say the repair was completed. The cost of the work done, and the parts were so reasonable. Great service from all the team members, with Alyssa leading the way. I will highly recommend O'Keefe's automotive to anyone looking for excellent customer service, and fair prices.

O'Keeffe Auto recently serviced my Ford E-350 at a very reasonable price. I brought it in for an oil change and peace-of-mind inspection and discovered that the front breaks needed to be done. Alyssa in the front office was so helpful. She explained exactly what needed to be done, why it was important to do it immediately, and how much it would cost. She also recommended some additional services and gave me a timeline as to when I should plan to have them done. I am now confident that my vehicle is safe on the roads and reliable in the back country. I will happily bring my van back to O'Keeffe's in the Fall to have some additional work done. They provided honest information upfront! I didn't get the sense that I overpaid for anything and enjoyed a noticeable improvement in my van's handling and breaking when I drove it home that day. Great service. I will be back!

Finding a mechanic that you trust implicitly can be as difficult as finding a life or business partner. Tom O'Keeffe is that kind of mechanic. He has looked after all my motor vehicles for more than 20 years. I prefer dealing with an independent garage rather than a dealership service department. Sometimes you need both. I always trust O'Keeffe's to give me the best recommendation.

Being someone with little to no knowledge about cars, it's hard to find a shop/mechanic that you don't feel intimidated or ripped off one way or the other. Tom takes the time to explain what is wrong with your car and shows you where the problem lies. I recently took my truck into the dealership I purchased it from and had an inspection done. After the inspection I was given a list of items that needed addressing on my truck including brakes and some other minor work. I was surprised to see the estimate and decided to shop. It only took a small conversation with Alyssa at O'Keefe's to realize the service was much better and after further consultation with her I chose to take my truck in and have it serviced. In the end, I couldn't be happier with the service. Alyssa was very knowledgable and took the time to explain everything. Clearly they care about their customers at O'Keefe's and understand matters related to one's budget. She laid out priorities for my truck and helped me understand everything needed before work began. In the end I chose to have everything done and the invoice came out 30% less than my original quote at the dealership. Incredible! I highly recommend O'Keefe's and especially thank Alyssa for the amazing service.

I have never written a bad review before but I could not let this one go. We had an absolutely horrible experience at this place. The mechanics are nice but not very good and the owner is extremely rude. I paid $2000 for something that was a $50 fix. There was no apology or reimbursement whatsoever. The owner was defending his work and tried to blame me for the issue not being fixed. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.

My visit to O'Keeffe's today was literally the greatest consumer/customer service experience that I have ever had. They exemplified the epitome of the phrase "Above and Beyond". We LOVE you guys. Specifically Tom, Alyssa and Adam, but anyone in a uniform there has earned my undying devotion and loyalty. You literally saved our lives today. Buying a used car can be a truly traumatic experience. People will try to take advantage of you, they will try to rip you off, and in our case, they will literally put your life in danger in an effort to make a quick buck. The team at O'Keeffe's helped us identify the problems, and gave us advice on how best to approach the issue. They were remarkable. Beyond their expertise in automotive repair and maintenance, they were kind, patient, understanding and really cared about our wellbeing and safety. I am now having to spend money to keep her going but hopefully everything will be fixed now. The public will always view auto maintenance/repair suspiciously as too expensive. This will not change. I suggest maintenance be presented in terms of: 1. essential 2. secondary. Print up and make available to clients, a card outlining essential and secondary servicing for typical gas powered vehicles. Keep it simple, focused, so clients will know what to expect. Gasoline vehicles are substantially all the same, so let's simplify what must be done annually (essential) and what must be done every 3-5 years (secondary). Surely it's not that complicated. I believe the work performed on my vehicles was done to a high standard and the staff was very professional and efficient. The elephant in the room is cost. The focus on maintenance should be practical, minimal, and affordable. Large bills inflated with marginal (non-essential) services will make me shy of servicing which is bad for everyone (and the vehicle). Keep me coming back by keeping my bills low and thus encouraging regular maintenance. I don't go to a different Doctor every time I get sick. For your business, auto maintenance and repair, it's simple.Gain my trust like my doctor does, and I will be yours for a long long time.

I was very sad and quite frankly terrified at the prospect of finding a good used car. I had my previous car for 22 years. I had Asked Tom to help me find a replacement car. I knew he would be honest with me on what was a good car or somebody else's lemon. And he actually rejected several I thought were good. We recently went to Tom O'Keeffe's shop for the first time as he was near where we lived. What we thought was one simple problem lead to much more being exposed as problematic. Tom called us and asked us to come for a talk as he was finding problems and wanted to know how we would like to deal with them. He took photos and sent them to us to help clarify the issues, he put us in contact with a frame expert, he took the time to walk us through what he was seeing and explained why his findings were concerning him. Tom took the time to really inform us clearly so that we knew the steps to take and what was needed to be fixed. We are so happy with the work and advice Tom gave us.
