I’m a retired mechanic of the automotive and heavy equipment repair trades and have been living in NS for five years now and have been trying to find a shop that I could deal with in getting my mechanical issues taken care of. The last issue I had was the dreaded exhaust manifold bolts broken on my f150 with the strut tower on these trucks years inhibiting access to these bolts. I went to five shops to get this done around Truro and was pleasantly surprised when Rod, the owner, said “ no problem” and gave me an appointment date. The job is very difficult, as I know from doing these on accessible manifolds when I wasn’t disabled, and the owner gave me an estimate and bent over backwards to hold it to this price which ,imho, was very reasonable, and I’m finally able to say I’ve found a shop I can depend on to be friendly, knowledgeable, and the guts to take on these difficult jobs without sending me and others away due to the extra effort needed with some jobs. I have to say,as a very picky, wanting the job done right kind of retired mechanic, this shop is one I will recommend without reserve. Thanks Ron, no more chickens picking under the hood while I drive,lol. I’ll be seeing you for the other manifold when needed buddy.

Outstanding service! We are visiting Nova Scotia from Ontario in our 20year old Roadtrek camper van, when our exhaust pipe came lose travelling bumpy country roads. Rod Lynk's Auto Clinic did not turn us away (many did) but fit us into their very busy day. Can't say enough about their excellent customer service.. Thanks guys.. We're so grateful!.

I'm from out of town and drive to Truro daily for work. A light on my dash board came on and I was so concerned with how much driving I need to do and I called asap. Although they were booked up, a very kind gentleman named Ron told me to pop by and he would try and see how urgent the light was. He was so kind and came right out and he was able to figure out immediately what it was and helped me stay safe until I could get an appointment. I sooooo recommend this place... don't commonly find friendly service like this these days!!

Another great Maritime gem! All individuals I’ve dealt with here are professional, knowledgeable and competent. I’ve taken my vehicle here 3 times thus far and chatted with the office people and at all times it was positive pleasant. They definitely gave a client here for life. My truck was worked on with efficiency and at all times let me know what was happening. They made me aware of all issues and only did what was necessary.
