Went to Pudgey Tire first thing this morning, waited in the waiting area for approximately 3-4 minutes to at least be acknowledged, as they were sweeping and chatting in the garage area. Someone finally came out from the garage area after I started pulling away. When I left and I went to Scotia Tire,down the road, was greeted immediately and my car was in the bay in about the time I waited for someone to acknowledge me at Pudgey. Generally I wouldn't bother posting without trying to resolve the issue but alas, there was no one to talk to.

Stopped by once to get tires put on rims, it was a bit busy. I asked the guy at the counter how long of a wait would it be to do the tire change. He looked at me and cursed me out for not noticing how busy it was. I left and went across the street to Mighty Auto. They helped me right away. I'll never go back again.

We brought in our car for an alignment to which they explained that they felt they needed to fix the inner tire rod end. My husband and I talked about it and we agreed that sure that’s fine might as well. They said everything else looked great. As soon as we took the car on the highway there was a lot of clicking and shaking. So we take it back, and my husband says to him that he himself works on cars, and before he could even finish his sentence the owner told him that he doesn’t care about what a backyard mechanic has to say about any of his work that he’s certified. Not only did they not look at or fix what they did, the arrogance in this place is out of this world. My husband ended up fixing the car after I dropped over 300$ at this place. Would not recommend ever.

Great spot, honest service. Was very happy with the quality and speed of my car repairs. Had I taken this to the dealership, it would have been minimum double of what I paid. Had to reschedule an appoitment twice due to family emergency and was lectured on the importance of showing up to an appointment. Extememly unprofessional and cold. Will be making a complaint to management and not using them ever again. Too bad. Poor customer service.

Had to change my review after a recent visit. The owner seems to become cocky and won't install tires unless they are bought from them. However, I found plenty of other places that were more than willing to install them. No longer going to go to pudgy tire for service. Seems they have enough work so small jobs don't appeal to them. Being in the service industry myself, all jobs big and small are important for customer service. Too bad that way of thinking is going by the wayside.

Generally good work on cars. But Pudgey (the owner I assume) can be quite rude, bordering belligerent. He's the type who likes to roll his eyes behind customers back, or bad-mouth them after they've left. My wife doesn't go there anymore.

*This was a 4 star review. Lowering down to 0 as this was not the end. Nothing but trouble after. My dad walked in to see how long it would be to get 4 new winter tires purchased and put on. Fully expecting to be laughed at, he had them on and done before 5 the same day! Cool right! The other guys were booking late Nov or even December. Great service and close to home.

Went in to Pudgy Tire to have 4 new tires put on my car and a safety inspection. They took my car in and the service advisor came out and the first question he asked was did I purchase the new tires from them. I said no and he said I will have to take the old tires back. At first I said really and agreed. Upon looking up the regulations about tire recycling we pay a recycle fee per tire to have any tire retailer in NS recycle our old tires. I explained to the guy this and the first thing out of his mouth was if you don't take them then we will give u back your car and won't swap them. Extremely rude. So of course I was angered by this and said fine put my tires back in the car I'll go somewhere else. Here is the kicker 2 of the old tires I actually purchased from pudgy tire to begin with. I used to come here for service because they were quick and reasonable Not anymore. I will not be back!
