Been here twice. The first time I got a puncture repaired. Second time I bought 4 tires. The manager/ owner is a reasonable guy. Very friendly and easy to talk too. His technicians are very customer service oriented as well. They provide fast service. There's usually a line up - so I would suggest call ahead of time. Definitely recommend coming to this place for your tire needs.

One of the best places for changing tires, Very affordable prices! I checked couple of other tire stores and finally found this place. Many brands with different sizes are available here. THE TYRES THIS COMPANY SELLS HAVE MANUFACTURING DEFECT, i HAD THIS COMPANY TO INSTALL 4 BRAND NEW TYRES ON JULY 2019 The first time i drove the truck after the tyre installations, there was a warning on the panel, that tyres are not air balanced. i called Mr Aref, seemingly owner of the tyre business. Mr Aref told me the air defect warning goes by itself after a day. I drove the truck, in the second day at 10:30pm, the right passenger side tyre became flat. i assumed it a nail has punctured the tyres. Then i called the CAA, they came and told me the TYRES ARE DEFECTIVE(MANUFACTURING DEFECTS), AND the tyre has come out of the rim. i called Aref the next day, and asked him either to replace the tyres or install non defective tyres. mr Aref, the owner of the shop, was too rude and hang up on me. i lost over $900 for trusting this company. AVOID THIS COMPANY, ONE DAY ON THE ROAD, WHILE DRIVING IN THE HIGHWAY, TYRE MAY COME OUT OF THE RIMS, AND HAVE YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES KILLED

I had a flat tire and my wife went to Canadian Tire to fix it. They told her that the problem isn't fixable and did try to sell her 1 tire for a "great" price - $200 before taxes. When asked them why they don't fix the tire the answer was, "because it's not safe, as the leak is toward tire side". So, I asked them if it is more safer to have 2 different tires on the same axle. I have bought 2 used tires and took the car to the Start Tire & Services the day after Boxing Day and they replaced my both front tires. It cost me $30 (balance included) and 30 minutes to wait. The service was fast, professional and honest. One year later I can say I have received the same professional, honest and quick service. I was there one hour before closing time, they were busy, but did take my car in.

Great service. Staffs are very responsive. I had my 4 tires replaces in less than 45 minutes. Prices were really competitive. Free parking at the front. I received exactly what i had in mind. The owner is straightforward and honest.

One of the worst shop in North York area. Went there to get my winter tires installed. The next day, one tire was flat. Filled it up thinking maybe they forgot to pump air into it. The next day same thing happened. So I went back to their shop, and they were busy so I just went to my mechanic and he found out that Star Tire didn't clean the wheels when they mounted the tires so it's not making a good seal. A week later, the other tire went flat. Filled it up to see maybe it was just a fluke, after 3 days it was low on air again, so I went back to Star Tire to get it fixed and they did fix it for free. They cleaned the wheels and remount the tire. Then the next week, 2 of the other tires are low on air (by now, all 4 tires have had the same problem, not making good seal). Filled it up again, then after a week or so, air is low again. So I went back to their shop for the final time. They did fix it but the boss there asked me to pay for it. He wants $40 for 2 tires which I refused to pay and tried to explain to him that it's their fault for not cleaning the wheels before mounting the tires. He gave me this bs that it's because it's my tires or my wheels. He's being rude now saying that he doesn't offer lifetime warranty and that if I came back the next day he could've done it for free. To end the discussion with him I offered to pay just $20 for the trouble and he accepted it but told me to never come back there again. Which of course was my plan the first time I saw them mount the tires and their improper use of a torque wrench (they over tighten your lug bolts first using their powerful gun and then use a torque wrench, of course it's gonna click!) They couldn't even do a proper star pattern when tightening the lug bolts.

I went in to get my tires replaced while there I ended up doing my breaks and an oil change, I have been to mechanic shops that claim they have the best price and service but it's not true cause u can't trust the little guys and the big name mechanics always try to up sale u on things u don't need but star tire was honest professional and the price was honestly cheap for what ur getting. Try them out u won't be disappointed.

Slow leak tire. Call ahead. No need for the appointment. Showed my car to the worker. Car was moved, tire repaired, payment was made. Total time under 20 min. Only downside the gear lever and steering wheel had greece on it.
