Lost me as a long time customer today. Booked an appointment 10 days ago for a tire changeover. Booked for 9 am (first of the day). Showed up early. Watched 2 cars go in before me. At 9:15, when I inquired, was told that because one was 'buying' tires, they would take that car first. I left and went to the grocery store. Called owner Paul at 9:30. Very condescending on the phone, told me that if I had been patient and waiting (maybe 2 hours) they would have done my car when they could. Priority, he says, is which car fits on the hoist and that I would need to leave the car there for 2 hours. Not sure what the point of making an appointment is - he knew what type of car I have and also the type of tire changeover. All they had to do was call and tell me to come in later Over the years have always been served when booked but I think because it's a busy time of year they just over booked. Seems like if you are buying expensive tires you'll get treated differently. I've purchased tires there for 10 years but lost me as a customer today. Booked in at Fountain Tire down the road.

I've used Tireland the last 2.5 years for mounting and balancing tires each time we swap from summer/winter. A very friendly team who clearly know their stuff. I was pleasantly surprised to find they were significantly cheaper than the 'big chain garage' I called to compare the quote.

Paul was very helpful in helping me find a used replacement tire for a punctured sidewall. Aside from having a used version of my old tire with the correct amount of tread left, Paul and his staff were also able to provide very good advice surrounding winter and summer tires vs. all-weather. Went into Tireland and asked for a price to install four tires which I had already purchased. I wanted to use one of the smaller shops locally given the times. An older man asked me what type of car I drove and quite bruskly quoted me $50 a tire which is already way more than Canadian Tire. I went 50 metres down the street to Sorat and was quoted $30 for everything including disposal.

My husband and I were traveling from the States and we woke up to a low tire pressure light the morning we would be driving back. I was nervous to drive that far without knowing if there was a leak, so we just quickly looked up the nearest tire shop. We pulled into Tireland and the owner said "I'm busy all day long except for right now!" And mentioned to the staff on hand that they should check our tire pressure as we would be driving. The person checked the air and filled the tires, told the owner that the pressure was low and he just filled them. Well, we overheard the owner say "Did you take the tire off and check for leaks? Because they will be driving". I can't tell you how much I appreciated the care and time he took to ensure that his employee checked our tires well. The tech went back and removed the tire to check for leaks. Turns out everything was fine, it was just low pressure, but I was so grateful to happen upon this establishment that day and felt that he used a lot of ethics and integrity in his business. Also, did I mention he didn't charge us anything? Thanks so much Tireland, you gave us piece of mind on our road trip.

Tireland has been on the NorthShore for a long time. Paul is a very caring and knowledgeable "tire" man...he is quick with good advice and solutions for your car's tire needs. He has access to all brands and offers a variety of options to accommodate budgets and usage. I highly recommend calling them ahead of time, depending on the season, they can be quite busy. A good place to go to for summer or winter tires, or any tire issues.

These people are great. Paul spent 15min on phone and 30 min face to face to help and educate me to find the best tire. The brand he recommended was the best quality and price option i could have. As I already done my homework and research in other places like Costco & Dealership, I found both his knowledge and customer service miles on top of other competitors. He clearly explained all the aspect of tire threat and its depth and what it should be the best for Vancouver climate. He reviewed 5 different brands and detailed the last two options for me (Toyo & Yokuhama) and helped me to make a final decision. His partner, Jason, helped me with the rest of project and actual replacement of the tires. so professional and high performance and time efficient. He also educated me during tire replacement. Unfortunately I forgot the third person name, but you can assume that he was great like Jason and Paul too. Selecting tire with so many brands available in market and tones of website offering free delivery might make everybody confuse easliy, But Paul took care of that responsibility and with his reviews I could choose the best tire that fit in both My car performance and my budget. For the budget, they were 23% lower than dealership and 11% lower than Costco. Last not least, they stayed overtime to fit my tight schedule and didnt ask for any extra for this additional service. I highly recommend these people and hope everybody receive the same quality of help that I received yesterday. Thanks Guys

I bought mags for my truck years ago from another place just over from Paul's shop. I bent one and was frantically looking for a replacement single. The Canadian distributor of the mag brand felt bad I ruined one, and told me to call Paul and they will arrange it through him. Paul was on top of the whole situation and I got one replacement. I discovered this place and Paul a couple months ago when searching for a set of limited supply Michelin Pilot Sport 4S for my 911. I can you tell you now he has an uncanny passion for cars and tires, he genuinely loves what he does, and will absorb a lot of knowledge into his customers. Paul came in early on the following Saturday morning to install the set. Just a genuinely nice guy and class act. I had a chance to also witness other customers drop in that morning and see Paul patiently interact with them. Highly recommend you make the drive out here to North Van.

Worst experience ever!!!! Went in for a simple wheel swap and this happened - 1. Took an hour longer than promised 2. They put my dirty salt covered wheels and tires in my trunk and rear seats with NO TIRE BAGS! who does that? isn't that common sense to bag the dirty tires and rims before putting it on your customers leather seats? 3. After I left, I get a phone call saying they put 1 wrong tire and rim in my trunk! so I have 3 of my own wheels and 1 of someone else's in my car. I don't understand how you can completely screw up on a simple job but they seem to have found a way.

Sold six year old tires that have a recommended lifespan of ten years. One soon developed a bad bulge. Didn't match price for tires on tirelands corporate website. Won't be going here ever again. Sad because its a family run business that supports local highschool students.

Paul, the owner of this shop, shows zero respect for his customers. Got a quote for used tires and two different brands of new tires from two employees when he wasn't there. When I went back to purchase the tires a couple weeks later, owner was there. His new price for the same tires was significantly higher and he showed no interest in honoring the previous quote, or even verifying the original quote with one of the employees who was working there at the time. The owners attitude toward customers is so poor, I find it amazing that he is still in business.

Had to send my wife with baby to get a tire replaced on our 2018 X5. Thought we were on the hook for a new tire. The team thoroughly checked the tire and found a small, slow leak that could be patched instead of replacing the entire tire (which they ordered in advanced). Thank you for being so honest and not seeing dollar signs because of the vehicle we drive. Safe to say I found my tire shop.

I bought 2 used tires from this place a few months ago. 1 month later I was getting my alignment done and the gentlemen at the alignment shop said these 2 tires are splitting and should be replaced as soon as possible. I told him I had just purchased them recently, he said "they should not have sold these tires to you, any Tire professional knows that these tires are splitting and that they will explode eventually. It was irresponsible and greedy for any Tire professional to sell these tires to you and put you at risk" I could not afford to replace the tires in time, and yesterday one of the tires literally blew apart while I was driving on the highway, luckily I was able to pull over before causing an accident and injuring myself, my passenger or other drivers on the road $150 tow truck with a 2hr wait on the side of the road. This tire shop, in fact it was the owner himself that I dealt with when I bought the tires, should not have sold me these tires. These tires should have been disposed, not sold to someone who was in desperate need of tires. I feel taken advantage of, ripped off, and put at risk. Based on this very unfortunate and dangerous experience, I would not go back to Tireland Performance Centre, and I would recommend that others not do business there either. Now I have to buy 2 more tires to be able to drive to work tomorrow after buying these tires only months ago

Well to be honest, I actually left a good review last time and the job they did was fast. However, that was only to find out the next day I still had a flat. They actually did not completely diagnose and find the spot where the nail went in. So to be fair that did take a lot of my time. To come back and fix it again. That was roughly 4 months ago. I came today to get a quote, I had already taken the tire out myself to help with the labour. The older man who approached me ensured me that I did have a flat and it was because of a nail. Without my permission he cut /took the nail out, so I now for sure did have a flat tire and I did have to fix it with him. (I didn’t know I actually had a flat because I just bought a new set of winter tires from someone). In either way, the man told me it would cost 30 and to come back in 30 minutes, without really asking if I actually agreed to the plan or not. He was already rolling my tire in to his shop. A second or two later, he told me and my brother to move my car as I was in the drive way, in a very bad tone. Long story short he told us I am in a rush and doing you guys a favour, because his shop was closed 10 minutes ago. It was 2:06PM roughly and on google maps it says they close at 3:00 PM. To conclude, I took my tire back and went to another shop called Sorat, they did it for 39.50 and fixed the other tires I wrongly put on myself. They were quick ! So if you are reading these reviews I would recommend going to Sorat. They actually fixed my tire from the inside and not from the outside which is way better of a fix, they also checked my tire pressures as well.

Well - I own a BMW and they certainly didn't suck up to me. In fact I have been totally ignored. I dropped in, gave them my tire sizes and specs and was told they would get back to me with prices. I heard nothing so I went elsewhere. Hopefully the owner will take this review as an opportunity to improve service.

Spent over $1000 on tires from these guys and am now losing air in one of them. I have barley put any km on them. I don’t see a nail so I believe it’s the valve stem. They said that they would fix it but for $40 or more. The last place I purchased tires from fixed my tire for free which had a nail in it as did Kal tire and I didn’t even purchase my tires from them. I definitely won’t be purchasing tires from these guys again and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. What happened to customer service? It’s the little things that keep you coming back. Very disappointed.

Wow, the guy who runs this place is someone you cannot trust. He added an extra expense onto his quotation for installing a set of 4 new tires. After the tires were already installed, he told me he was charging for the tire fill valves. I had already told him exactly which truck model I have. Like I said, he already gave me a quote. My truck does not even have sensors for tire pressure, so the tire fill valves are common and standard. When I questioned him about the extra expense he mysteriously wanted to charge, he started acting like a baby and started yelling to his employee to remove all 4 of my tires and install the old tire fill valves from my last tires. Wow, that is weird. The parts obviously cost $2.50 each...no one ever reuses the old ones. The other thing...they do not include free tire rotation as most other reputable tire companies often do. My tires installed were $1350, it's not like I had a small petty job for him. The reviews for him and this company, on YELP , also show that people are offended by his behavior. I have better things to do than take my time to complain, but I wanted to help out other potential tire buyers.
