I went to Canadian Tire for a flat repair. Canadian Tire broke a sensor on my tire and then dropped my wheel lock down into the metal frame of my vehicle while fixing my tire. My wheel lock is one in a million so I drove all over North Vancouver looking for another shop to help me. After 5 other shops who tried but couldn’t do anything for me, I pulled into North Shore tire, discouraged, tired and believing I would have to wheel break the lugnuts off my truck which is an expensive nightmare. The guys at North Shore tire went above and beyond to help me out. They fished out the wheel lock!!! They took 20 minutes out of their busy day to help me fix a problem that Canadian Tire created. They did not even charge me and refused to let me buy them lunch. They have a new customer for life. Thank you so much guys!

I called in 20 minutes before they were going to close and they said I could come in. They stayed past closing time to repair my punctured tire and for that I am extremely grateful, I would have had to get my car towed somewhere if I waited overnight. Beyond amazing service! Infiniti dealership quoted me on my flat tire for $632 (for replacing a single tire!!! and said it is not repairable) and these guys just simply repaired the tire for only $45!!!!

These guys over-inflated my tires during a seasonal rotation by 10PSi presumably so they would wear out faster and I would buy new tires from them. When they do wear out I'll be sure to take my business elsewhere. Check your tire pressures after visiting here.

Really easy. Popped in after calling to change my winter tyres to summer tyres. 2 hour turn around time. Free re-torque after a few days of driving for a Safety check. Would recommend.

Boy when you come across a business like this you just want to tell everyone. So here I go. Stepped in for a quote on some new summer tires for my Mini Clubman. Right of the bat Karl (owner) greeted me in a very pleasant non pushy manner, knew what tires to get, had a quote, and said come back anytime if I wanted to proceed. Went home and did some research (quote was better than most advertised on the internet) and went back the next day to firm up an appointment. It was at this point when I met Joe (17 year employee there), Karl was off but Joe had seen the quote from the day before and again knew what was going on. Joe ordered the tires in, a couple hours Joe phoned to say tires had arrived and to bring down my vehicle. Dropped off my vehicle at 3pm and by 4:10 Joe phoned to say the job was all done. A very professional, seamless, and pleasant transaction. It’s not often you see this type of great service these day so when you do you just want to promote it. A local, independent business that is really really REALLY good.....GREAT! Highly recommend.

Charged $25 to fix a puncture. I have never been charged before to repair a puncture. Most places do it for free.

These guys rule. Professional, courteous, quick, and more than fairly priced. The specifics: I brought in my car to get a flat fixed (owing to a pesky nail in the side of the tire). These sorts of flats are difficult to fix (in contrast to when a nail is embedded in the middle of the tread), but they gave it a go. Alas, the tire was no good. They found a great used one to replace it, and for a total of only 40 bucks. All done in minutes. Don't go to chain shops, whether you need a tire repair or new tires. Go here!

I always come here, especially when a problem pops up. I drive a rather crappy mini van for my second car, and when I had a flat I had it towed there and left it overnight. They could have replaced both back tires, or they could have waited until I arrived... but by the time I got there at 9:30 the next day they had fixed the problem with a used tire with good tread and saved me a boat load of $$$$. Honest service from the "old school" of North Vancouver. Worth bypassing the chain stores for.

One of the best customer experiences ive ever had. I had a puncture in my tire and after 3 visits to Canadian tire, they told me to pitch the tire out. Called Northshore tire this morning and they fixed it in moments. I don't think I'm going anywhere else for my tire needs. Fantastic experience. Everything they could have done done right, they did. Right down to wire brushing some light rust off the center hub and applying a thin coat of copper never-seize. Old school service is a rarity, and they have it in abundance.

Great experience here. When Canadian Tire advised that i had a sidewall bulge and therefore could not repair my tire, these guys could find no bulge whatsoever, and repaired the tire on the spot.. They even found a second minor leak and fixed that too! Probably saved me $125! I will be back.

These guys are great! I had tires put on from them through my mechanic four months ago and love them - best tires you could imagine. Post install service is great too! I had to go back to have them check pressure and they accommodated a quick appointment to fit my schedule and fixed my pressure sensors right away! 30 minutes and I was done. They are polite and lovely to deal with, the shop and yard are tidy and organized. They try out the tires they sell themselves so they know their stuff. I highly recommend North Shore Tire!

Later on, I called to order a new tire and they ordered one to come in for me without charging any deposit as it is usually required by others. I received some fantastic service from Karl and all of the staff at North Shore Tire. They set up our hatchback with four new tires within an hour and a half of me calling them initially. The tires feel great and the price was on par with everywhere else around here. They go above and beyond to ensure that your car is safe and ready for your needs. For example: they replaced the very cheap and soon to be faulty wheel nuts that came with the car with high quality replacements without asking and without charging us anything extra. I would highly recommend skipping the chain-stores (I have had bad experiences at Kal-Tire) and going to Northshore Tire for your next set of rubber. They are very conveniently located and as I said, their customer service is extraordinary. I was a kal-tire customer, but after a couple bad experiences I made the switch and will never go back.
