I ordered an OVS awning through their website which was on sale, I thought I was getting a good deal. They contacted me days later to tell me the part number was discontinued and the new part replacing it was pricier, essentially negating the sale price. I went with it not knowing better. When I received the awning, it clearly shows on the box the original part number, on top of that, the final price came up higher than I can get it on amazon from the manufacturer. So don't believe any sales they have, just figure you'll pay the full price if not more.

I purchased an exhaust system from these guys that came with a million mile warranty. 20 years later and it started to rust through. NSOR came through and helped me meet the warranty requirements with no hesitation. Just one more reason to shop local. I've always found their customer service to be top notch. They never hesitate to give me a price in person or over the phone. I've never been on hold for more than 5 minutes unlike another firm in Langley.

I bought larger tires for my truck to look good but unfortunately for me the new tires rubbed the mud flaps/wheel wells in the front. I emailed NSOR thru their website and heard back the same day from store manager Tyler. After another email or two I got a call the next day from service advisor Rich about a cancellation they had and to bring my truck down for a look if I could. Arriving onsite, I was professionally greeted by the counter guys and met with technician Angelo. He expertly explained the options to me, no pressure, no up-selling and offered to bring it right in and get to work on it. Within 2.5-3 hours he had masterfully trimmed the areas, cleaned them up and re-sealed it all, with everything still looking great. He tested it and it was perfect, no more evil rubbing noise and damaging the expensive truck or tires. I work in the (Trades) service industry and often deal with many others in the industry also. I’m hard-pressed to think of a better (service) experience I’ve had from start to finish if I ever had. These guys were fair, honest and are total pros. I’ll definitely be back there anytime my truck needs work, thanks guys????????. Trinity PHG

Tyllers honesty and advise is invaluable as he has helped me build my Jeep into an awesome machine. Angelo who was the one working on it, went above and beyond and listened to all of our concerns regarding our truck. It's driving so well now it feels brand new again. I was exited to have found an off-road shop for all my Jeep Wrangler needs. Unfortunately zone-off-road turned out to be a poor choice. On their recommendation I bought the IPF Headlight conversion kit. Easy installation but they stopped working after three months. After calling them and telling them about the problem, they acknowledged that they knew about the issues with the kit, but didn't bother to tell me when I bought it and also had no solution to the error. Nor were they willing to replace anything even though it's still under warranty. I also bought 5 expensive new wheels and tires. They also installed them. But first they forgot to put in the tire pressure sensor in one tire and then missed to balance the tires properly. After confronting them, I also just got denial and I decided to get the tires fixed elsewhere. Handle with care. Rather order your parts online somewhere else.

I ordered a 3.5 inch Trail Master lift kit, a Rubicon Express front track bar and a JKS rear track bar for my 96 ZJ, I dealt with Al, he was a huge a help, got me the pieces I ordered in the time frame we discussed at the lowest price I found. When I need something else I will call NSOR again.

If you want some really basic accessories for your Wrangler, and you don't care about price, you'll probably be happy enough going here. If you need to order parts though you'll likely do better anywhere else. I waited two months for a tie rod that was listed as being in stock and then Noah explained that they don't really keep stock, have no control over shipping, and have to wait until they have a big enough order to even send it out. If you need work done you'd honestly do better at a Mr Lube or a Kal Tire let alone a normal auto shop. I spent $1500 having new drive shafts installed in my 1991 Land Cruiser, and Tom seemed to know what he was talking about, but when I went back right after the job was done to ask why my radius arms might be rubbing against my tie rod, Tom had absolutely no idea even though he owns a similar Cruiser. I then asked the senior tech, Angelo, because his name was on my work order, and I showed him the photo, but he just shrugged, declined to look at my truck which was right outside, and told me metal rubbing on metal was normal for Toyotas. I tried asking another CSR and they looked at my truck and said my radius arm bushings were shot .. they went to order me a stock set which would have ruined my caster, and then another customer tapped me on the back and explained it's a really simple common problem with three levels of fix: drop brackets for the back of the radius arms, different aftermarket radius arms, or for more money but way more sweet, a 3-link setup. These are retail solutions to a common problem on a common truck and literally no one at NSOR had one sweet clue but they would have gladly ordered parts and done work that would have made things even worse.

Bought a new soft top for my Jeep. Well they scratched my door and just slapped paint on it that ran down the door. So I'm driving away and I hear a flapping sound. There was NO Velcro on any of the removable windows. Yes a factory defect but they installed them anyway and said nothing to me. But as I'm driving I feel my steering was not right. While lowering my Jeep off their lift they bent my sway bar in the opposite direction. So I bought a new bikini top instead. It leaks and is now coming off the frame. Worst service ever, Also their shop is a mess. Dirty and disorganised and that tells all.

Excellent Service!!! My friend recommended this place. He told me this place does a great job with getting jeep accessories and were very helpful. I dealt with Alan and he did an amazing job. I don't know anything about jeeps, I wanted to order some gifts/accessories for my husband, and he was really helpful with guiding me through and discussing with me, the best products for jeeps. When my package got lost, he tracked it down and followed-up with me to make sure that I got it. This is going over and above excellent service. I highly recommend this place!!

After comparing prices, you’re better off getting what you’re looking for online. And that’s expected for any business because they have to make money.. most people are fine with that considering they get the product the same day and they get all their questions answered up front. And they do seem really knowledgeable, so it’s cool to go check out their products in store and ask about them. After that though.. you’re better off looking up what you found online, you’ll see a sizeable difference in price. You might argue that by using the store you’d get a professional install.. well after seeing one first hand.. professional isn’t quite how I would describe it. Just my opinion. Some other reviews seem pretty positive, personally I’m not dropping my truck off there.

Confusing experience trying to purchase a sale item off website. Went to shop and clerk had trouble finding sale price and assured me that the item was sold as a pair(LED headlights) at the listed sale price and that they had to be brought in from the warehouse. Went to pick up today and was presented with only one headlight and told that the price was for one light only. Manager said he would do me a solid and give me the pair of lights for the sale price- sweet. They agreed that there was no mention of being a single item on website and that it was their mistake for telling me it was a pair. Clerk handed me the invoice and it was for two lights at sale price(twice what I was prepared to pay initially). Got my money refunded and left dissatisfied.

I was charged 5 hrs labour to install ball joints. I was told it would be 2hrs labour to install. Not my fault that your mechanic takes 5 hrs for a 2hr job, regardless if they are rusty or not. You should expect they will be difficult to get out when quoting. Complete rip off and bad business practice.

Had 3 bad purchase experiences and while trying to get feed back on a fb group an employees friend threatened to knock my teeth out and sent me a picture of himself holding an SKS rifle stating hes tylers friend and does a lot of business with nsor and deleted my posts. His friends then messaged me unprevoked to remind me he had people to come after me with. I was very confused because although I had been having bad service all but 2 of the posts supported nsor. I do not know tyler or his violent friend in any way and have never met them but thanks to them I will never waste a dollar at this thuggish supplier. Their below response of the part was not ordered is outright untrue and goes to show the length they will go to. How sad.

I have a 2003 4Runner and got Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks installed from them. This was about a year ago. The staff wasn't terrible to deal with, little stand offish but not terrible. I wanted my truck to sit level which is what I advised them and from research requested they put the shocks on the second notch. When I picked the truck up the front was way higher than the back and had very noticeable reverse rake. I called and complained, they were ok but advised it would be 2 hours labour to put it down to the first notch. This irritated me and I recently took it else where (Alternative Auto in Port Kells) who advised it was put on the second notch from the top (4 notches, meaning that North Shore Off Road place this on the 3rd notch not the 2nd notch - amateur mistake). The install has been fine, no issues besides this rather key one. Overall, I will absolutely never take a vehicle to them again and although they aren't terrible, there is a whole lot better places to take your vehicle for work. Look elsewhere for your work, just not worth the headache and sub satisfactory customer service and workmanship.

I purchased a 4'' bds lift kit as well as replacement fox 2.0 shocks for my 2014 ram through North shore a few months ago (April 2018). All in all, they were alright to deal with upon ordering and I did get my kit and shocks very quickly. The kit and shocks were installed, and everything seemed fine. A few weeks later my shocks began to make a loud clunking sound. The shocks were removed, and we found that the metal sleeves that push into the ends of the shock for the shock mount bolts were much too big. Furthermore, creating the noise. The shocks only came with one size of sleeves so those are the ones that were installed. Keep in mind, I decided to go with BDS because of their fantastic reviews on resolving warranty issues and customer service. Thinking this would be no issue, I contacted North shore off-road both through email and phone calls expecting to get a smaller size or hoping they would offer another solution. The customer service rep implied that I didn’t know what I was talking about and tried to explain to me how the shock bushings went together and what they were for, which I didn’t appreciate. He asked me to measure the bolts and sleeves as well as check to make sure the shocks weren’t blown and leaking (they were not) but still, I got him all the info he requested but he then proceeded to ignore my emails. Nothing was done, no solution was offered. Months later after no luck finding smaller replacement sleeves from any other companies, we tried again to contact them to see if they would help. No solution was offered. Finally, we contacted Fox racing directly, no response was given. At the end of February 2019, I found a local off-road parts dealer (BCM customs of Grande Prairie, AB) that had a bunch of spare metal bushing sleeves in stock. They gave me four of the correct size sleeves at no charge and were 100x easier to deal with. The clunking sound was completely gone the day after installation of the correct sleeve size. I will most likely never purchase anything for my builds again from North Shore off-road because of this. The overall turnaround time to replace four little shock sleeves was 8 months, And it would have been longer if I wouldn’t have gone out of my way to find the correct parts.

Went in to get a Cargo cage installed and after spending over 1500dollars and all day waiting instead of 3 hours originally quoted because they couldn’t figure out how to reconnect my limb risers back. I guess if there’s no instructions they can’t do it. Took me 10 min to drill two holes and put the cables up. Not going back as much as people recommend these guys.

Awesome store, awesome service. I just got my jeep a few months ago, and was told by my dad to check this place out for any off-roading parts and accessories. I'd been on their website numerous times and finnally decided to go check it out. After a quick browse of the place I was asked if I needed help with anything. I end up getting a killer 50" led light bar to keep my wheeling adventures going late into the night. Alan was very helpful to me as I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for. He ran me through some options and helped me find a good quality budget friendly one. I dropped my jeep off a few days later and picked it up that evening for a quick test run up an FSR in squamish. I'm absolutely pleased with the quality of the light and the professional instalation. Big shout out to Alan for all of his help and the crew in the back who put it in for me. I love it, will deffinately be back again, and highly recommend this place. Also to my surprise I got a call a week later to follow up and make sure everything was working good, which I did not expect. Great customer service you guys!

The worst service I have ever had purchasing after market parts. They sent me half the parts needed for my 2015 Rubicon, assuming the other half would be shortly behind as I received no back order notice I installed. This required cutting and welding.....no going back now..... The parts came 1 month later. They were thrown in box, not wrapped at all, badly damaged during transport. After fighting with them I finally got them to agree to pay the return shipping. Sent the items back. Three months pass by and no parts have came, keep in mind my vehicle is undrivable still. I contact them and they tell me they will indeed replace but parts are six months away on back order. I tell them this is not exceptable and that I cannot use my vehicle. 1 month later I get the parts, packaged the same way and damaged yet again!!!!! I phone to tell them and basically get additude like they do not care. Even after speaking to a manager. I ended up using the damaged product and paying to have them repaired ($800) out of my pocket just because I needed my vehicle and could not deal with these people. The products they sold me were poorly machined, poorly welded and poorly painted. NSOR takes no responsibility for the products they sell, not to mention they do not even stock half the items on their shelf as they are just a middleman. They will sell you items on back order and make you wait months on end. I spent over $6,000.00 with them and was treated like garbage. I would have thrown all their crappy products in a box and sent back if I hadn't perm altered jeep to install them. This company is unprofessional, the workers act like children and management will not back or take responsibility for any products they sell. Save yourself a lot of stress and money and just order direct from supplier, these people are CLOWNS!

I went to the Vancouver Auto Show and spoke with some reps from North Shore Off-Road at their booth at the show. I was interested in a winch and some LED lights, they gave me a card and told me to stop by the store and they'll sort me out. I normally shop online for stuff like this, but since he told me they carry it in store, for convenience of getting it right away I decided to stop in on my way back home to Whistler. 3 guys on the phone, one guy trying very hard to avoid eye contact with me, another guy in the back office who clearly sees me, and another one on the computer at the service counter eating fried rice out of a tupperware container. 20 minutes pass, I looked at some stuff, waiting for some help but after 20 minutes, it was clear to me I wasn't going to get any. So I went up to Mr fried rice on the computer, he was Asian, pun intended, I stood in front of him for a good minute, I was completely invisible to him. I had to speak up, and he says just a minute, as he continue to look at his computer screen. Meanwhile the rest of the staff, still on the phones or trying to avoid me. I should add that I was the only customer in the store the whole time. 6 staff members, one customer.........anyway, after waiting another 30 seconds like an idiot, I said you know what, I'm just going to go and I turned around and as I was walking out the door, Mr fried rice pipes up and says: was there something we could help you with? Are you fing kidding me right? I simply said yeah but it seems that I would have to call to get any service here. Lesson learned, order online so I don't ever have to deal with that kind of BS ever again. It happened at 1440 Columbia St, North Vancouver, BC V7J 1A2 location.

What kind of aftermarket offroadshop would tell someone to go to a wrecker to find trailing arm to axle brackets.. Being an offroad shop, that would be one of the most baisic items to have in the shop.. To tell some one that they do not exist and go find them at a salvage yard is indicative of a total ignorance Dont shop here. No one has any idea what they are doing. Reading all the reviews pretty much confirms what i am saying

So disappointed with their service as well as the parts they used on my vehicle!!! Regretfully, recently took my 4Runner to them for CV Axles replacement, and here is my experience with them: 1. They used remanufacture parts whilst I was told and quoted on new parts. When I told them these are not new parts was told they came in the box!!! They use CV Axles from Cardone which is a remanufacture company, and not manufacture. 2. Initially was quoted 2 hrs. Of labour (standard) for this task but, when I took my vehicle in that increased by 1 hr.. Total of 3 hrs. which is more than standard for this service. 3. I was charged $11.50 as ShopSupply for each side ($23 total) but, they did not even change my rusted pins which may cost $0.05. Careless technician for just getting the job done! 4. Was told my vehicle should be ready by early afternoon, and will receive a call as soon as completed. I was at their store about 4:50 PM and no call was received! I asked them, is my vehicle ready? Yes, it is. Finalizing the bill, and pay took about 20 minutes, and from that time still took them about 30 minutes to bring my vehicle to the front. Every time I asked them where is my vehicle, responded, it is coming! Really!!!

Fantastic experience. Tyller inspired confidence. They even found mistakes that a previous Ford dealership missed. The mechanics explained the job and all the staff we friendly and knowledgeable. Originally I booked this with 4 Wheel Parts, but they couldn't even get it booked in with their own parts with numerous attempts. Tyller made it a breeze and made them look stupid. My grandfather went there, my dad goes there and now I go there. It's the best place with people that really care. Some of the staff have worked there for over 30 years and love trucks. Called in to purchase a steering arm, asked the sales man if they price matched and said yes but when I told him 4wheel parts price on same part he told me to go there!! Horrible customer service. Update! Ordered from there Surrey location, just saved 50$ on the part I needed and very good customer service!

We went there to go and look at fridges. The service was terrible. The worker didn't even welcome us. Then when we did find a fridge they didn't know anything about it and didn't even feel like he wanted us there. So we left and went to West Coast offroaders. Way better service there.
