Older gentleman at the counter seemed to be very friendly although lacking some professionalism. Took my vehicle there to see why my air conditioning wasn't working. After about an hour, the "experts" couldn't figure out the problem despite a full diagnostic. Was pleased to pay a small amount for their efforts but days later, the car magically wouldn't start. Took it elsewhere to find it was something as simple as a Starter Relay fuse. Was not impressed.

Passed by on saturday 05/18 after my civic displayed a check engine light that had me worried. Despite being very busy they did a quick diagnostic and revealed it was simply an evap leak caused my a loose gas cap. All in all took less than 5 minutes. They've always been very accommodating and professional in addressing all my car needs. Highly recommend!

DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. I had a slow air leak. I was informed, by Brett, that the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) sensor was leaking on my front passenger tire. This is a blatant lie. The sensor is entirely inside the wheel and inaccessible. The sensor does not fill up with air. The sensor is a pressure transducer and a transponder - nothing more. There are only four possible leak scenarios; 1) the tire, 2) the valve stem, 3) the valve core, or 4) a crack in the rim. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. [I was forced to give one star in order to post this information]. A slow air leak is not very important to the safety of a motor vehicle. Honesty, however, is very important - especially when the customer knows how TPMS sensors work and the dishonesty is posted for public viewing. Update: I purchased a $3.06 valve stem and core (to replace the damaged stem your mechanic ruined) and reinstalled the original TPMS sensor ... which still works. Thanks for the $109 fix for a $3.06 valve stem and core. (Nice try pulling the 'safety' card.)

Scott Vine Tire is the auto shop that 3 generations have trusted for very knowledgeable, honest and properly repaired vehicles . They give experienced advice or options on any repair that me be expensive ( not maintenance related ). They actually refused to perform expensive work on my 2006 cobalt , saying that they felt the vehicle wasnt worth the amount I would be spending to put another bandage on. They suggested even looking for another vehicle ( and then offered to look it over FOR FREE before I purchased it, to make sure I buy a decent vehicle. Shops like these dont exist .. if anywhere, they do not look for the fast buck, they are always busy and booked so far ahead because they take full care of their customers and their vehicles. They have done small checks and repairs , even bulbs and not charged us... just genuine customer service. Brett and Rob treat their customers with high regard and the best intentions, from a basic oil change to the largest repair job , you feel valued as a customer, you trust what they tell you , and you never leave feeling taken advantage of, usually you will leave in laughter if they get on a roll... The Best Repair Shop in Niagara Period., and sometimes on a good day, better than just for laffs.

Very impressed! Went in yesterday for a quote on winter tires, received one and was able to even book it and have it done the next morning. Tires were all on and ready to go within a few hours. Staff were very kind and helpful throughout the duration of my visit. Highly recommend this place.

Hands down the most trust worthy place to bring your car. I have been going here for 6 + years and wouldn't bring any vehicle anywhere else. They set reasonable expectations that they always exceed and are more than fair in their pricing. Your car will be in great hands and you will never have to doubt that you will get the best price in not only the niagara region, but ontario as a whole (and I do mean that having traveled and lived in several cities in Ontario) I can't count how many times that they have helped me out in accomdating every need I've brought forward. These guys take 'A simple Act of Kindness' to a whole new level. On Thusday I had to get new replacement plates for our car which meant I had remove my old plates & put on the new ones before I left the parking lot because I no longer had a sticker on the old plates. Of course I didn't realize this & here I was without a screwdriver. Scott Vine Tire & Auto to the rescue. They spent over a half an hour trying to get the rear plate off (stripped screws). They even drilled new holes for me & didn't charge me a thing. I don't know what I would done if not for MacKenzie, Peter & Rob. Thank you so much.

I got my tires balanced and rotated, absolutely no problems with my wheels afterwards and was happy when told and shown that one tire was a little worn without trying to get me to buy a new one, i appreciate the concern and the non pushy attitude! These guys are awesome! I went because I had a nail in my tire and they were so quick and so lovely to work with! Safety is their number 1 concern and they were super thorough giving me all of my options! They even went above and beyond to figure out what kind of tire I’d need in the spring to replace the old one and the cost of it! Can’t wait to head back there again just hopefully it’ll be for an oil change and not another nail in my tire!

I've been meaning to write a review for Scott Vine Tire and Auto for awhile. I cannot possibly think higher of a company, they are incredible. I’ve taken my wife’s car and my own here for the last few years and every single time they have treated me honestly, fairly, and respectably. Whether it’s a minimal touch up or a serious problem, they walk us what needs to be done, encourage us to check around for pricing (they are always the lowest or very competitively priced), and fit us in as quickly as they can. If you’re looking for reliable, honest service that will fit your schedule, I wouldn’t take your car anywhere but here. They’re phenomenal.

A few years ago I would have given them 5 stars. However, with in the last year, service has been terrible! When you take your vehicle in to get fixed, and get it back with a problem that wasn’t there before, you would think they would take responsibility. Especially when it was not in that condition when brought in. Instead, it was brushed under the rug and the guy at the front denied that there was anything wrong. Took it to a mechanic that is familiar with my car and they indeed confirmed that something had happened. I will not be returning for any future service, nor will I recommend this place to anyone!
