How about winter tires with them a few years ago. I called in to order the tires and to book installation which was no problem. However, when I arrived at the shop the quite dismissive guy around the front counter sort of waved me away when I dropped off my keys. He made it sound like they knew what was going on and I would be fine and said just to go to the diner next door and have breakfast and be back in an hour.When I came back an hour later he said “where are your tires? They’re not in the back of your car!” I explained to him that I was buying tires from them and if he hadn’t been so dismissive I would’ve been able to explain it but he wouldn’t listen to me. That was another hour of waiting. If they worked on their customer service at the front end it would’ve been a lot experience.

Multiple time they've worked with me to do was minimally required helping me get real value out of my car.

Good service as usual. The new $40 needs to be considered now. Myself and many others go to Niagara Battery and Tire because of the no charge to change tires over (summer to winter). Now I might just do it myself and save the cost to change them and the cost to store the tires.

I was surprised that they were not busy on a Monday. My lucky day. As I expected, generator and alternator good but needed a new battery. 2006 Mazda Miata. Installed at a great price in less then 40 minutes. It would have been less, but they had to fashion a new hold down strap. Excellent service!

They get 2 stars and not 1 (or 0) because the workers did a good job. The guys behind the counter need to work on their people skills especially when they are busy. Granted this time of the year, it is crazy busy there, but that is not a good reason to be rude to your customers after a 4hrs wait. Yep, it took this long to demount, mount tires. This is to be expected so close to winter so no issue there. However attitude is not expected, nor required. When a customer calls with a question, even twice, you answer it and move on. After all, that IS your job. Remember people have to work around work schedules and personal life, in order to bring you business in your hours of operation. I don't see them extending hours during the busy time as they should. This would make customers' lifes much easier. I hope they improve their customer service. It looks like we're not the only one that might have had not the best experience

I called to price a specific tire size and load range E for my 3/4 pickup truck! after being steered to a uniroyal tire and being instructed that it was available in st.cathrines I drove from port Colborne too st.cathrines where after settling into there waiting room convinced I was getting quality tires installed at a bargain of just over 1000$ ! I was informed my truck says it calls for load range E tires ! Yeah that’s what I called for ! I was instructed to put on smaller worse name brand for same money or come back the next day for right size in a cheap brand at same money or Michelin’s for 500$ more ! They already had my wheels off so all I could do was wait to have them re- installed 2 hrs of my day wasted along with my gas ! Thanks for nothing niagara battery and tire

We were told free tire changes if we bought our winter tires and rims there. So we payed more than other ones we found because of that. And the rims started to rust out after 1 season .Now 2 years later after they charged us 20 dollars every time for cleaning the rim they say that they can't honor the agreement we had. I dont do business with pepole with no honor. Will never come here again. And ill be sure to share it to social media and anywhere I go that niagra battery and tire doesn't keep their word. That makes them liars

Niagara Battery & Tire installed brand new tires on my car in October 2020 and at the time, I was unaware that they failed to do an alignment check. When I brought my car in about a month or so ago for an oil change, they tried to tell me I needed a new set of front tires because they were already bald. When I advised them that they were the ones to put my tires on less than a year ago, they basically shrugged it off and when I asked why they didn't check my alignment, they said it was because it wasn't requested. A family member gifted me with the tires, so I was not involved with the process. Niagara Battery & Tire has lost my business because of their lack of care and consideration.

Spoke with a gentleman in the morning regarding 2 front tires for my blazer. He said they had a 2 tires used for $40 a tire. I told him I was going to come down in the afternoon to get the used tires. So I drop the vehicle off the in the afternoon at about 1:45, came back at 2:30 for them to inform me that vehicle hadn't been touched and they sold the tires to another customer in the morning after I had already spoken with them. Not the best service and I will not be returning.

Got a nail in my tire this morning and a slow leak so I went there 815 to see what they could do… I know they are so busy here. Somehow they managed to get me in immediately fix it and get me on my way in like less than half an hour. No doubt they bend over backwards to help you out here as much as they can. About a year ago, I got my tires slashed in St.Catharines and was towed to Niagara battery and tire to get all 4 replaced on my Toyota Highlander. Everything was going fine until I got my tires rotated. I started noticing the driver side front wheel started deflating. So we took it in to get it fixed, and nothing was fixed, it kept deflating. It took about 5 trips to Niagara Battery and Tire for them to keep “Patching it up”. I just recently moved to Kingston and went to a new establishment because once again, my front left tire was deflating. The mechanic walked out of the room in confusion, and asked me if I got my tires from their shop. I told him my history with Niagara Battery and Tire, and that I’ve just moved from Niagara to Kingston, and he was in absolute shock. Reading the revies below, another customer had the same issue as me. I had a bad bead seal leak!!, the mechanic explained to me that the seal literally ripped my tire around the rim causing an ongoing leak when Niagara Battery and Tire mounted my tire! To put you into persepective, I was driving to Kingston and back to Niagara for business plenty of times in the snow with a front tire that was never fixed and was slowly deflating. I really think this facility should stop worrying about getting people in and out as quickly as possible, and start putting our safety into perspective. I honestly believe they have no clue what they’re doing. Or are simply lying to their consumers on what they have “fixed” . I wish I can post the picture of what they did to my tire. But google does not allow this function yet. Will be posting on yellow pages. I suggest avoiding Niagara Battery and Tire to save your money and time. My family has 3 cars and now we have to check all tires to see if they were properly mounted. To me, that’s something a mechanic should simply know how to do. I’m absolutely livid and will not return to this deceitful place.

Worst customer service experience I have recieved in my life. I was very patient and used the "3 strike" rule. Strike 1: after setting up my purchase on the phone, I had went into the location and was told there was no work order with my name on it. So I said order new tires and left. Later that day I recieved a call that the original work order was in. So I canceled the second order. Strike 2: went into to get tires on and dropped my car off, took till 2 in the afternoon for them to call me and inform me to come pick up my car that they only ordered 3 tires in and not 4 so I would have to come back in at 6:30am next day but they would get me in right away. Strike 3: show up the third and final day to be told that no other employee could handle my work order and had to wait for the employee handling my file, I said ok. An hour and a half of waiting for him to show up to his shift to find out that he didn't even bother to order the 4th tire again and he said he told me that he would call when they were in(never said that). At this point I was fuming ,not only did I waste 3 days and multiple Ubers it all ending in me saying forget about it . I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

When I asked why it took so long they told me it was because of Covid. I asked why the tires weren't mounted before my arrival. The answer was Covid. Some of the staff need an attitude adjustment-act like they are the only place to buy tires. Prices are no better than other tire retailers. After 25 years have had enough and the last set of tires I purchased will definitely be the last set.

I purchased brand new tires on Tuesday Feb 16th. The 4 tires cost 680$ and came with a tire warranty. 2 days later well driving down Highway 6 my NEW TIRE BLEW, on the INSIDE OF THE SIDE TIRE. Thank goodness I was able to control my car without getting into an accident. I return to Niagara Battery and Tire in Welland as only had tires for 2 days and they advised not covered under my tire warranty. I must have hit the concrete curb on the side of the road...REALLY, 1- When was the last time they drove the highway. There is no concrete curb on the side of the road. 2- It was on the inside of the tire. They need to take ownership and admit the sold a faulty tire and replace it under the warranty. I am more then sure my son isn't the only one they've done this to...

Not very impressed. My tire had a screw in it, they repaired the tire and charged me for it. The same tire had a slow leak afterwards, I brought it back in and they charged me a second time. One guy said he couldn't see any other holes in it, the second guy tried to claim it was a new leak. They charged me again and said it was repaired. Within days, the same tire is leaking again. I'm not going back a third time. Their staff are friendly, but do yourself a favour and take your car elsewhere.

And over this last very busy weekend with an overflow of customers and lineup, they were very professional and pleasant getting people serviced. I didn't actually buy tires yet but I walked in and asked for a price - the gentleman was polite but all he did was quote me the cheapest tire and didn't offer any advice, description or alternatives - he just stated one tire and one price and must have figured I could decide from that. I would have appreciated questions like how many kms do you drive, how long would you want them to last, perhaps even something like these $90 tires are good but I feel you would get better performance and longer life if you but this other brand at $110. As it was the clerk offered me basically zero information. Perhaps they are just used to people always wanting the cheapest tire.

NEGLIGENT. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. We went in for winter tires - that went fine. Later had issues with one of our tires leaking air - live outside of Niagara - so I took it to a local shop - they inspected the tire several times over right in front of me to, and insured me there was no issue with the tire. I left it at that. Next cold spell, same issue - at this point, I assume its a bead seal issue. We top it off and next time visiting Niagara, drop into Niagraa battery and tire to have them do a proper bead seal as it should be warrantied. They tell us there is a nail in the tire, and its being patched. Perfect, problem solved, BUT OH WAIT - next cold spell, yet again - same issue. Again, we are back home so I go to the same local shop. They pull the tire off and inspect it again for me. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO PATCH WORK, NOR PLUG WORK DONE TO TIRE. There was never a nail in my tire. I was mislead by the lazy crooks of Niagara Battery and Tire, and sped out of their line up without a second thought. The tire at this point from haven being flat off and on for so long is ruined, so I buy a temporary snow tire for our return to Niagara Battery and Tire. Upon return and explanation of the negligence on their part, I'm given the "only" option, of 40% off a replacement tire. This establishment is terrible. Like any larger operation, it is a cash grab - in and out - customers are numbers scenario. DO NOT. SUPPORT. THIS GARBAGE. Find a smaller shop that is committed to its customers. My wife has been the one dealing with them, as I work and cant make the frequent trips to Niagara, and they are damn lucky that was the case. This shop is negligent. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.

WORST WORST WORST!!!!!!!! My car tire blew up on QEW. Took my car here. Waited 3 hrs for my turn and these unprofessional guys told me they dont have either bolts or spacer & refused the bolts which i already used with same spare tyre previously. Put the blown tyre back and leave me there. Then i took my car to near by shop to see if they have bolts and NIAGARA BATTERY &TIRE UNETHICAL PEOPLE call the next shop owner to tell them they cant help me, even before knowing that they have the parts i need. Such a rude and cheap thing to do. I WILL RECOMMEND TO NEVER GO TO THIS SHOP.

I purchased new tires few months ago with road hazard protection insurance as they suggested. I noticed I've got nail on my new tire last night. Now I am waiting one and half hour they don't even take a look my car outside parking lot. Even tho not many customers in the shop. I strongly suggestion DO NOT purchase protection from them. You better be spend $20 for local tire shop within 30min job if you get any road hazard
