Very professional, great service, and friendly staff. I brought my car for oil change and they also adjusted my car’s tire pressure for me cuz I put too much air last time. What’s more, they gave me a tool for measuring tire pressure for free! The service is exceptionally good. Highly recommend here:)

Didn't get any oil change or service done from them yet so this review is a little different. I bought wipers for my car and couldn't figure out how to put them on, so they basically changed my wipers for free which was great as every other place was charging money for it. Keep up the good work.

A very convenient place for oil change maintenance. This shop is very well situated, close to main routes and in vicinity of another car shops or car dealers. The receptionist is very amiable. Also, after the fixing is done, the customer will receive a complete overview of the work done and further recommendation. The place is busy, and if there is no need for an emergency intervention, I recommend for an appointment. Call and ask the receptionist and she will be happy to help you.

Just had the maintenance package done. Great, friendly service! They gave lot's of great feedback including priorities for what future maintenance needed to be done and even figured out a squealing problem that I've had looked at multiple times and never found a solution for. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service and great value for fixing my break pads and rotors. When reversing I would hear a loud squealing noise and now it's completely fixed. Thank you Joe, Christina, and team for fixing it within 24 hours. Make sure you say hi to Lilo their french bulldog...love businesses that have pets on site, it makes it more of an inviting atmosphere.

I dont like taking my car to others, but this was beyond my abilities. Joe was highly recommended and I got quotes from a few places. He was one of the least expensive and he is a good guy, you'll see when you meet him. He did a good job and my car has been smooth as butter for the past few months.

Extremely disappointed after reading all the good reviews. Called ahead of time to book an appointment, showed up and was told it was for next week. Lady never offered an apology for mixing up the dates, didn’t offer to squeeze my vehicle in for the day or offer any alternate arrangements. I guess I take my business somewhere else.

Went for an oil change plus spark plug replacement. Everything was done well and at affordable price. We had some miscommunication regarding pricing due to the year of my vehicle, but it ended up being resolved to my satisfaction. Joe seems very knowledgeable and is a nice guy. Also, quite impressive how much the receptionist/office manager lady knows about car stuff - she explained rear brake system to me in quite a detail. I will be back!

This business, Minit-Tune is a classic example of a tiny gem located in New Westminster which has the highly sought-after traditional old school service with the latest in advanced computer automotive technology. I took my Mitsubishi SUV in for an oil change and tire rotation, and my wife followed me in with our recently purchased Mercedes Benz CLA-class AMG car. The tire sensor warning was flashing in the dash of our car (not the SUV) and I just wanted some air for the tires. Joe filled the tires, checked the pressure and ALSO cleared our "Reset Tire Indicator" message in the dash with his under-dash computer connection to the vehicle! I highly recommend this place and, yes old school neighbourhood service still exists and I am glad to be not only reviewing, but also recommending that you get down there and give them a chance versus the bigger auto service chains. This Minit-Tune location is VERY reasonably priced and the folks there (including Cristina at the desk) are very honest and non-pretentious. I am going to be a customer for life with this business since the Mercedes Benz "stealership" would have charged 'an arm and a leg' for not only clearing the code, but also filling up the tires and checking air pressure on the Benz. In fact, my wife stated that we will take our Mercedes there and never visit the Mercedes Benz "stealership" again. Oh, awesome job on the Mitsubishi too. Joe, you are the best! For those who are concerned about Google reviewer credibility, this review was written by a current UBC PhD candidate and 2021 reappointed UBC Liu Institute scholar.

Superior experience with Minit-Tune New West. Easy Peasy online booking for oil change, tire rotation and most importantly, the detailed inspection. This for our 2003 Mazda where we have to decide to maintain and keep, or sell with full disclosure. Joe did not disappoint in any way. No upselling or unnecessary work. Wished I had found this location 30 years ago, but of course, the internet did not exist back then. If we are keeping the vehicle, then they will most certainly get our repeat business for the priority repairs that are required.

This place is run by what I would commonly refer to as "scam artists". I needed a place nearby to do a basic oil change and was astounded at the laundry list of invented problems these guys threw at me afterwards. If I didn't know any better, I would have ended up spending nearly $2000 fixing all these "problems". Fortunately, I know my car, and I knew they were lying. I took the time to verify their claims later, and happily confirmed they were all false. DO NOT go here. Or if you do, do not trust a word they say when they tell you what needs to be fixed on your car.

This is the BEST mechanic I have been able to find since our family friend retired 5 years ago. We tried many local New West auto repair shops- big name and small- and it was trouble accross the board. Minit Tune on 12th has been the most family friendly and cost effective safety option for our family vehicle. They have never pressured us to buy any service and have always given us very accurate estimates and realistic repairs for our vehicle. I have and will continue to recommend them to everyone we know. It's rare to find this high quality of service in auto repair establishments nowadays, this location is truely a New West gem!

went in for an oil change with complementary wheel rotation , etc. a week later my front brake started making noise. in summary, 2 out of 5 lug nuts were never tightened which has caused my rotor/s to warp. this shop should not be allowed to operate if they can't even torque your lug nuts properly.
