Edit : After speaking with the general manager, I did get an apology and he assured me that my experience is not one they want to happen. He seemed sincere. Saint John Nissan may be good to you. My experience started very well, after negotiating for a week I felt like I had a good deal. However, I was told that I couldn't buy the car ( because of a location issue). I then asked the Financial Services Manager if there was someone that had more knowledge on the issue. He said that he was the one that knew it all and that he could not sell me the car. I did some research and had the car in my yard within 5 days with another dealership. It felt like they did not want my business.

Can I give more than 5 Stars? I currently have a 120km daily commute and to save money on fuel I decided to go electric. Not knowing anything about electric cars I went to multiple dealers searching for the right car for me. Our last stop was Saint John Nissan and it should have been my first. Not only did they give me the best deal on our trade in, the staff was knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. Everything felt right and I bought the car. Really great service. They go above and beyond which is amazing. Service is quite slow though. Expect for a oil change to take 2 hours for some reason.

Imagine my surprise when me and my friend Mary Sue strolled into this brilliant establishment. Nissan? Mary sue asked me, more like NisCAN she remarked. I chuckled knowing someone who sits at the front of the bus like her would think that is hilarious. Looking for our new pimping ride we gleamed over the cars in the lot. I was looking for something sleek and cool, Mary sue clearly did not know her sentra from her micra. I scoffed, a micra would be perfect for her. We peaked through the glass into the salesroom, wow! Car salesmen or MALE MODELS? We giggled. We were too shy to approach any of the gleaming stallions that were the salesmen. Maybe next time, as we walked back to the bus we checked out a Nissan Altima, my reflection looked amazing and so did the car.
So expensive service.
Charged my gf over 1300$ when we brought her Versa in. At first they claimed they tried "an aftermaket" alternator but charged her the new price. Then when it didn't work, they put a new one in. They also replaced the battery. Then they claimed the cluster was damaged by the bad alternator and a new one would be required to make all the lights go out (check engine, exclamation mark, etc). She brought it to her honest backyard mechanic when she went back to her place (out of town) and he charged her 200$ to fix the actual problem. All the lights on her cluster are gone without needing to swap it. The dealership tried to charge her another 800$ to replace the cluster. Brilliant. Either they were trying to rob her, or they were incompetent. Neither option is acceptable. We both agreed neither of us would purchase a Nissan ever again after this ordeal. It needlessly cost her 1300$ and caused her a lot of stress.

Been a lifetime buyer of Nissan products and haven ever had such a negative experience as the last purchase. Firstly: the day of the purchase the salesperson (this was our second purchase from Joe in the past 6 months) was relieved of his job and we were then passed off to another salesperson. We did however complete the deal as our daughter had her heart set on the vehicle in question. Secondly: the GM asked to speak to my wife and myself privately to discuss how we felt about our buying experience... let's just say it was the most awkward unprofessional moment one would not like to repeat again. So now we have a lease return vehicle for our daughter.... it was to go into the body shop for a minor paint repair and be in our possession in a few days.. 2 and a half weeks later after phone calls and being reassured it was today ..... and then another today the vehicle finally was delivered to our dooryard. The GM was with our salesperson who I must say was in a difficult position proceeded to introduce himself to my wife and wanted to put a face to a name so to speak then realized who we were and actually made comment "oh I know who you are" at which time the greeting was over car delivered and I must say Good bye Saint John Nissan my last purchase for me.

I really enjoyed my experience while purchasing my new vehicle. I went in wanting to purchase a pre owned vehicle, but then decided to go with the new Qashqai. I appreciate everyone's help at the dealership from both the sales managers Jim and Jeff and Wendy in the business office. All of the staff made me feel welcomed each time i went into the dealership. I want to take the opportunity to thank the service department for my fantastic service! They fit me in as quickly as possible and got me back on the road just as fast! The rims look amazing and brought the car back to life. The technician was very thorough and fix the squeal in my tire within no time. Terrible customer service. Clueless. Unhelpful. Don’t care about maintenance, just sales. Don’t answer their phones, say they’re looking into things, claim to have never gotten the requests in the first place. Don’t waste your money here. They’re infuriating and treat you like you’re nothing more than a wallet.
The people at Saint John Nissan are amazing. I know it will sound over-the-top, but I've never seen nor heard of customer service as good as what I received here. We were on a six-week road trip from Edmonton, Alberta to eastern Newfoundland and back. Our car died in Saint John, New Brunswick. We got it towed to the dealership, and from that point on the General Manager and staff worked really hard to get us an affordable replacement engine. While that was going on, the GM loaned us a vehicle so that we could continue our trip and keep most of the reservations we had made. They even went to very, very great lengths to find a way to move our rooftop tent from our dead car to the loaner vehicle. The people at Saint John Nissan literally made the difference between scrapping weeks of our once-in-a-lifetime vacation plans versus being able to continue and complete our amazing journey to and through eastern Canada. They helped us through a very difficult and unfortunate situation. If we lived in the Saint John area, we would be devoted regular customers of this place for all things vehicle-related. The folks here--the GM who made so many good things happen for us and the staff who went far out of their way to help--are fine people, and we will be forever grateful that fate put them in our path.

doing Bad service for their used cars, I never recommend any one to deal with them I owned two used cars from them (Nissan murano) and (Nissan Pathfinder) after 3 months both of cars need fix, one need new braks and the other one I did the inspection and its cost me 1100 $, I can provide all the receipts to whom is concerned

Great service. Comments from Debbie Maxan, my wife. Other than plexiglass in front of the service counter, hand sanitizer and posters available re Covid. None of the staff were wearing masks or social distancing from customers or other staff. No place to line up in front of service counter and social distance as demo car took up space.
Overall a great experience. Brent helped make every step along the way easy, going the extra mile to help the costumer. We will enjoy our new Nissan Sentra.
After passing an inspection on my 2016 Versa Note, 2 months later after a service appointment for a very very intermittent noise when braking, to be told I needed new brake shoes. after a private mechanic inspecting them i was told there was nothing wrong, a further inspection by Nissan confirmed this. I was refunded the cost of the service appointment. but no refund for the waiting time, cost of travel, cost of a private inspection. no appology from Nissan Canada. Lost Faith in their Service Dept.

Excellent service with my recent purchase
Do not bring your vehicle here. On September 8th I brought my Nissan in for a key fob. They destroyed the electrical in my console. September 17th they tried to fix the electrical but said they couldn’t and would need to contact Nissan tech. Months and five unreturned phone calls later - they told me on December 8th that it couldn’t be fixed and Nissan recommended I buy a new ‘radio’ for $2000. TL:DR brought in vehicle in better condition than it left. Service department damaged my vehicle and took no responsibility. I have never had such a horrible experience with a dealership.

Service department doesn’t know what is or isn’t covered under warranty even when you tell them and show them. Revolving sales staff not familiar with important information needed when someone is buying a vehicle and will just guess when answering a question to be clarified as wrong afterwards. Service advisors don’t seem to know what has been done to your car and will usually just say yes even though you question them knowing that the work was not actually done.
I recently had a 10am appointment for a recall on the break light. I sat around for 1 and a half hour before they came to me and asked if I can reschedule because they were short staff I wasn't impressed. They could have come to me earlier instead of making me wait for 90 minutes.
