Today (sunday), at 4:30pm my 2-way hydraulic switch for the bucket on some farm equipment went. I called with my dilemma. Great place! Just tested out their service, bought a oxy-acetylene mini pack 11 months ago (I think from the Barrie Store), sat in my garage until the other day when I decided I was going to get the tanks filled, opened the box to find it had already been opened previously and partly assembled and was missing a couple parts(still new and not used). Was in Sudbury today so made my way to the Princess Auto with mini pack, asked for an exchange, no problem, was politely told they closed in 5 minutes (I didn't realize they closed that early on Saturday or would of got there sooner). I also got a rain check on a plasma cutter on sale(just sold the last one minutes before). Anyways they looked up my phone number as I didn't have my receipt, I signed for the exchange and I was on my way. Everyone was polite and happy to help despite my late arrival, no receipt, 11months ago purchase. I always stop there when in Sudbury, and will continue to do so.

Customer service at the desk is more than usually customer oriented. They feel your pain and take care of it. Since they have your purchase records, you do not even need to pony up the (usually lost) receipt. Sometimes I go in and hack around looking for X aisle, but the staff will walk you across the store to the right place as soon as you ask anyone. Fully satisfied here, just like their slogan promises.

It's hard to write a review on the location without considering the company and its products. Princess Auto sells some hard to find tools and some very cheap products (low cost AND low quality) which is ok sometimes when you need something to complete a project but not when you are looking for dependable every day use tools. The Moncton location has good staff that will do their best to help you out. The store is conveniently located though the entrance and exit to the parking lot are a bit awkward at times.

Good sale items, however not all items in stock. Can be a little chaotic with their display of some items. Therefore plan on spending more time shopping than usual. I did have 1 nice young man offer assistance and helped me find a flyer item. However a handful of employees walked pass me and avoided eye contact at all cost. I spent about 45 minutes there and only acquired 2 of my 4 items.

This is not a review, but a comment on Sarah MacKenzie's review of three months ago. She states she is not a fan of the store because every time she shops there they ask for her name, e-mail, and address. I have shopped at the new store many times, and before that at the Mtn. Rd. store for many years, and have never been asked for anything but my phone number. I don't know where Sarah was shopping, but I'm quite sure it was not Princess Auto.

Dont buy a crossman 1322 from this place. They are under powered big time and probablly got a bad batch. First 1 didnt even get 340 on the Chrony. Returned it only to get 1 with a max fps of 380. Go back again and ask for my money back and they said they wouldnt exchange it for another anyways even thou I said I want my money back as if Id do it a third time. Then was told I didnt know what I was talking about even thou I told them all my other guns average 480 on the Chrony. Then she said I dont know why you would want a gun to work full power anyways. Buying the gun directly from Crosman. Cheaper isnt always better.

I have always liked shopping at Princess Auto, I find now as I age that some of the staff at various stores are not as knowledgeable as I would hoped they should be. However it is what it is, and I have learned to accept it for what it is. Princess Auto's online website leaves a lot to be desired however, some products that I know they stock or have in the stores may not come up in the search bar. They really need to reconfigure the website search ability. I still do enjoy shopping at the store, don't have a credit card big enough...lol.

Went there today. 2 employees directed me to the wrong location. Still didn't find what I was looking for. Not enough employees for the store. Trying to find one was like pulling teeth and when you do find one, they have no idea what they are talking about. I left without purchasing anything. Ordered a tiller online, was on sale for 599, waited for over a week, then I get a email saying the order was cancelled, no explanation. Go back on the website and it is still in stock, but now the price is 699. Made several attempts to get ahold of customer service but was unable to speak to anyone. The Stores themselves are nice and well stocked, but disorganized. Not sure if they change the price in the store between the shelf and the cashier?

Waited 25 minutes at the front door for a curb side pick-up. Not a single delivery was made for the whole 25 minutes with a yard full a cars waiting for their deliveries. I called them to let them know I was frustrated and they lady went straight to "I am not arguing with you" and proceeded to put me on whole indefinitely. I only got my order when I waved down the first worker to come out.
