Went there to buy a used truck. A 2008 GMC sierra. priced at $11,310. It needed new tires for starters which could set me back at around $1000. Plus there were a few other items that would cost even more. None the less I made what I thought was a reasonable offer of $10,000 + tax. The manager came back with his counter. Believe it or not he took off a whole TEN DOLLARS off the sticker price. This is not a joke. Stay far, far away from this circus

I’m totally discussed with this dealership and the manager, Our salesman John Mackenzie was very good to deal with and went beyond his call of duty to help my daughter. The manager who will remain nameless was a liar and scam artist. He wanted to sell my 19 yr old daughter a unsafe car and admitted his dealership was going to give a false safety check. I truly recommend you stay as far from this dealership and there used cars as you can. I’ll list reasons which I’d love to provide anyone who wants to see how this dealership treats there customers. 1. On day 14 after purchasing the car I got a call the car was ready (Manager) 2. Salesman sends me a message I won’t let this car leave there is a vibration it’s not safe for your daughter. 3. I text Manager to enquire what’s going on with the car what’s wrong I get a call it’s the tires brakes I’ve got no money to fix it. I responded I purchased the car Saftied and on the road he replies he wants to wait so the first mechanic comes back (wait longer) but the best part the salesman and mechanic today both said it wasn’t road worthy but the Manager tried to tell me it was fine. I had to wait till next Thursday to get brakes in OMG. 4. Manager calls back to tell me I owed him another 600+ dollars to fix what the first mechanic was going to saftey road worthy 5. I said no I was out of money I wanted a refund as I found a cheaper better car and I was done watching him take advantage of my 19 yr old daughter. To which the manager replies “perfect” I’ve purchased several cars new/used and I’ve never seen the likes of the circus act this Manager was I’m not sure how he still has a job.

Amazing service. My starter died at the fuel pump and I had it towed to CYV and they diagnosed it immediately, gave me a loaner car for the night as it was late afternoon when my truck died and the starter was not available until the morning. Got a call at 840am the next day and picked up my truck at noon. Even saved $300 on the starter. Very nice people everywhere I've gone in New Brunswick.

But don't expect much from the service department from poor counter staff who do everything to get out if warranty work to inexperienced mechanics who misdiagnosis and repair the wrong thing.....then send it back out with engine light still on......almost ruined the motor!

BUYER BEWARE....stay away from this dealership unless you want to absolutely get ripped off. They ILLEGALLY PASSED a MVI before “repairing” the vehicle we purchased, then assured us that everything was great on it, therefore we bought it, paid cash even, left the lot, had it for a couple weeks, noticed something was wrong with it, took it to the GM dealership in Fredericton, NB where they told us that it needed over $1,000 in repairs (but offered us 30%off to fix CYV’s mess) and also saidthat it should have never passed the inspection. The brakes were metal to metal and VERY dangerous for us to drive it. We went back to CYV Chevrolet where the manager told us that he would not repair it because it would cost him more money and it’s not worth it.......REALLY? He took the vehicle back, gave us the money we paid for it (after I argued and told him that what they did was illegal), but refused to pay for the money we had put in it already and pretty much told us to shove it. So now we are out of the 4x4 vehicle we really need, wasted our time and money and we have to search for another vehicle elsewhere. WORST SERVICE EVER. They lost loyal customers for a job that would have cost them actually less than $500 since they already had the parts and the technicians to fix our vehicle.

I checked out another dealership that only gave me 1 option, didn't listen when I said Used and tried to sell us something too expensive, and only gave us 1 choice. I was blown away with the service by CYV, particularly by Mark Van Tassel. He met us with a smile as soon as we got there. I told him we were looking for a Used SUV. He listened, showed us what he had, gave his opinion on a couple SUVs that had a few more miles on them, but at no time did I feel pressured into anything. He answered all our questions and then some. He was very accommodating and I plan on going back to CYV, back to Mark Van Tassel, next year to trade in our other car. We've had our Hyundai for 2 weeks now and love it. It's exactly what we wanted and it's within our budget. Thanks Mark.

Worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. Not only was I told two different times my car would get fixed; what they did fixed didn't even resolve the problem. I was also never told that it would only partially fix the car, they made it seem as if it would fix the car. They wanted to charge me an additional charge to "find the other issue" after having already charged me for 2 hours to find the original issue. I was thinking of upgrading to another car from them but after this experience I would not recommend them to anyone.

I had an appointment on Monday at 1:30pm.I was greeted by Elizabeth from the service centre,she was so friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain to me what my recall was about and the danger as to why they made the recall. My car went in at 1:25 pm as I looked at my watch to see what time it was taken in. She then asked me if I needed to be taken anywhere as they have shuttle service which I think is a great service to have. Elizabeth the asked me if I wanted a tea,coffee, or a hot chocolate. The service was something I have never experienced .I am a huge Buick fan as I have owned nothing but Buicks. I purchased a new 2019 Sierra. Matt Montgomery went with me on the test drive. He was friendly, professional and did an excellent job explaining the particulars of the truck. I was then directed to the sales manager, Bryanna. It was with her that the "negotiating" was finalized. I then met with Cody to sign the papers. Finally, John MacKenzie helped connect the On-star and explained the infotainment system. All of the people that I dealt with were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. 5 stars. The only complaint that I had about the buying experience was that it was drawn out and cumbersome. I always seemed to be waiting for someone. I had to go through 4 different people to complete the deal and all of them had to "talk to Monty" at every step along the way. Even after doing much of the paperwork beforehand, it still took almost 2 hours to get the keys to my truck. Compared to other dealers that I have dealt with in the past, purchasing was a time consuming process. 4 stars. Overall, I found all of the staff friendly, helpful and professional. Even after the sale, I was contacted to address any concerns that I had. Hopefully, in the future, the service department is as helpful, friendly, and professional as the sales team. Overall, 4.5 stars

It is December 8, 2020 and the problem is still not resolved, they sent me a Hyundai Elantra today while waiting for it to repair the truck, it is a supposedly certified truck. Even the mileage was going down on the truck, the warranty company didn't even want to make the warranty on the truck there was too much to be a certified vehicle, its taking the axles forward and the differential fully. Good advice don't make the same mistake I did never buy from a garage. When you say the employees don't even want you to talk to the owner of the garage, it must be that we have things hidden. Finally after arguing with him he said he would see what he could do to get one and get back to me .Well its been over two weeks and still haven't got back to me.never go back there again.Its not thie thing that's its just a wrench not in the car .The point is once you sign the papers there done with you .Had a person message me from there wanting me to give them a5 star review why should I after this .She said she would get back to me also and it's been 3 days havent heard a thing .Tyler is not much of a sales person won't do a thing to try and help you out with the problem.Told me they couldn't find the wrench but if I wanted to drive it back to them they would change them for me.well if they don't have wrench how in you no what are they going to change them for me.And besides I shouldn't have to drive 2hours for it to be fixed.a Pretty bad loose a customer over a 30 or 30 dollars wrench. Everyone who has purchased a vehicle from CYV I kindly suggest that you locate your VIN number from your vehicle and acquire a written report from a dealer or any company who can provide you with a history report based on your VIN number. Make sure it has the information from the very start of your vehicles history which starts from the date of delivery to the dealership. I guarantee I am not the only person CYV has sold a so called brand new 2020 gmc sierra to, only for me to find out that my vehicle has been damaged and had rear end collision. CARSTAR TRYED TO FIX THE TRUCK BY PAINTING THE HOLE BOXSIDE AND REAR BUMPER AND CHANGED A WHEEL WELL MOLDING AND ALSO A FUEL INJECTOR. cyv denied that it was painted over and over until I got a vin number report from another dealership. I wanted a brand new 65000 truck which I paid for but only resolution from the dishonest matt toner and Bob Toner was get it painted again or take it back and they charged me 53 cents a km. I also lost my three payments and $1000 worth of accessories and my time they wasted adding up to several hours. the owner Bob Toner admits there is no paintjob like a factory paintjob but I still need 53 cents a km to make up for the loss of me having to take the vehicle back and then sell it as second handed now. Would anybody reading this be happy with a refurbished truck with fish eyes everywhere and buffing scratches from blending the new paint in with the factory paint? Don't let CYV do this to you. I hope this review will save atleast one innocent honest person from being taken advantage of and robbed of there hard earned money. I can provide pictures and documentation showing that Cyv is screwing over customers that don't look into the work being done to there vehicle before the so called brand new vehicle sale and work done through CYV after the sale. Go to another dealership and don't risk having to go through what I just had to especially at Christmas time. Carstar is also to blame for never once telling me I was rite when I kept asking if the vehicle had been painted. These are the people who look you in your face with a smile while they lie to you and try to bury the illegal things they do. I am sure CYV has good people working for them and have to say nothing about the hidden information and dishonesty when selling a vehicle. The employee turnover rate at CYV is unbelievable and why do we think that happens. The honest employees eventually have enough and leave the dishonest and toxic business called CYV and work for a business under good honest management. This message is not reflecting all of cyv but way more than 50% of there employees are not good people starting with the general manager and owner

Installed brake controller for my trailer In a Chevrolet Silverado brought it to the dealership brake controller on my way on my vacation was working for five minutes and failed almost went through a stop sign at the pull over to gravel road. No refunds stuck with a controller to cost me $303 tax included . I was told to send a controller back to the manufacture by Meghan.I got ripped off for $303 per piece of garbage installed in my truck. I bought the controller at CYV Chevrolet Woodstock New Brunswick and paid for the installation there.

They lie to customers! They told us only 1 thing had to be fixed on the pickup we bought in order for it to pass inspection when the current MVI expired (in 4 months). We took it for inspection and found out the frame was rusted through and can not even be repaired! Also there were 5 or 6 other major things that need to be fixed before it passes Mic inspection. We told cyv what had happened and the best they could do is let us trade it in and of course we would lose at least $1,000!

NEVER AGAIN we will buy anything at this dealer.friendly if you buy a car but after you signed you can start paying bills at the shop for the junk you bought.We bought a 2011 Equinox 4 month ago and every month in the shop.at least we should have to pay 8000 $ to fix the suv. we let a mechanic check the suv and they found holes in the frame....ABS not working...AWD not working....Traction control not working. We payed 11000 and after 4 month the suv was worth around 2000 .

I've waited a few months after purchasing from CYV to leave a review, to make sure it was fair and honest. This might be a bit long, but I'd hate to see someone else make the same mistake I did. The salesman was ok; he was eager if nothing else, but pulled a classic "bait and switch" - accidentally spec'd out the wrong truck. I got there at 7:00 at night (at his insistence) and left at 11:00 that night driving a new truck. I'll admit I got a great deal and he was more eager to sell it to me than I was to buy. Problem #1: They told me they could install a factory brake controller for $300, then (after signing the papers) corrected themselves and said it would be a Curt controller. I argued and got my money back, then went to the parts department and bought one (from them) for $115. It turns out, they could have sold me a GM one and installed it in the factory location, but somehow they didn't know that. Problem #2: The salesman put the safety sticker on the truck. Not a big deal on its own, but it was not safety inspected before I drove away. Also, because it didn't have a proper PDI, there were plastic pieces missing from the steering wheel. Problem #3: Because the salesman was in such a rush to get me out the door, they didn't prep the truck for delivery. I had to go back to get that done. It turns out, the day of my appointment, there was a snowstorm. I waited EIGHT HOURS while they "prepped the truck for delivery". I live an hour away, so I didn't have a way home and back again while I waited. I WAITED IN THE SHOWROOM FOR EIGHT HOURS and they FORGOT to do it. At the end of the day, they gave me a $100 gift card for gas to "cover the cost of getting the truck cleaned" .. somewhere else. Problem #4: Because the original work order had a brake controller on it, they started to install one and then stopped. I didn't know that. I just hooked my new controller to the harness under the dash and.. it didn't work. I assumed there was something wrong, so I took it to my local dealer, who charged me $140 to fix the wiring. CYV says they don't have a record of the work, so it must be my fault. In their defence, they were willing to help - until they called back and said they had no record of doing the work. Because of CYV's poor service, I wasted an 8 hour day while I waited for them to do work they "forgot" to do; I have a plastic modesty panel missing from my steering wheel; I wasted two hours of driving time; and I spent $140 fixing their screw up. I probably paid close to cost for the truck, so I guess I didn't pay for after-sales service. In this case, you get what you pay for.

Great experience dealing with this dealership. Keanu is a very pleasant, polite salesman. Jeanette in finance was refreshingly down to earth and easy to talk to. What separates a good dealer from a great one is excellent customer service and clear pricing. They have both with prices and also payments clearly displayed on each vehicle. Besides this, they gave fair trade value and have a good stock of new and used vehicles. I know we wont hesitate in dealing with CYV again in the future.

The staff at cyv were more than a sales team. I purchased a vehicle from them a week and a day ahead of picking it up. They were in contact with me every day to make sure everything would be ready for when I got there. Not just one person but four were in touch with me each filling in for the others if they were busy. Upon arrival I was treated like I was buying the top of the line newest vehicle there,although it was a used and different make than what they sell. It felt like family when I walked in and different people greated me with hello and called out my name without introduction.
