If you are able to get there when there's no line it's pretty awesome. It's like the fast food of car service. Really friendly staff and from my initial perspective really amazing service. Only downside, worth the 3/5 stars, is that the vehicle engine oil filter was replaced with an after-market one that was inadequate. The filter collapsed with less than 7000km driven. It is my opinion that car-specific requirements should be taken into account, and adequate replacements be used. Otherwise, awesome place.

Excellent service. I've been going there for over 3 years with my Chevrolet Cavalier 2004 and never felt pressured to do anything I didn't want to. Injector cleaning, gas filter are all things that need to be done at one point or another and when they did, the car ran much better and I get a great gas mileage. Sorry to hear about other clients bad experiences, but I never even once been disappointed.

I went to get my car inspected here after noticing a burning rubbery smell in my car, the staff told me the smell was caused by broken brakes and it will cost $1700 to fix. This was surprising since the car is relatively new, so I got the car inspected again at the dealer just in case... Turns out the tire breaks were not broken at all and the smell was actually caused by oil residue left by Mr.Lube staff when they last did my oil change. Not only did the staff at this location gave me a wrong diagnostic, I later found out that the quote they gave me for the $1700 "break repair" was actually for performing a full tire service and changing all my tires to winter tires, so they were trying to trick me into paying $1700 to change my tires even though they claim the problem was caused by broken brakes... which wasn't even a problem on my car! Mr. Lube has a reputation for providing free or cheap services for inspections and small fixes (thus the other good reviews), but be careful when they try to sneak in other "recommended" expensive services that you don't need. (also be careful about their vehicle inspections, this wasn't my first time getting a wrong diagnostic from them... might write my other experience in a separate review next time)

First and last experience with these guys. I got my car's oil changed and the person there told me that my transmission fluid needed a change as well. They charged me around $200 bucks for all that and screwed up my car's oil switch and oil started leaking. I went back to them and they told me that the oil pan was leaking. Later, I went to another mechanic and they fixed my car. The point is, please don't screw people over because they are actually trusting you with their stuff. Horrible.

ahhhh auto ownership .as a female car afficionaddo I know a little something and find a huge discrepancy in charges from one shop to another but Mr LUBE is a safe company my car is ..such a JOY .until the check engine light comes on ...one life hack that some woman may not realize is getting the fluids checked and topped off...in THAT process you also get a pretty accurate report about all functions of your car ...thats part of the service I have come to expect from the NORTH VANCOUVER MR LUBE. Driving in the second you arrive, coffee for you in hand by your greater complete fluid check plus lights cabin filters windshield wiper blades etc etc ...my location knows me know ..if that check engine light comes on or coolant light ..I do not run to the dealership ...but to Mr LUBE ...if budget is a concern ...SPEAK UP ...they can triage your issues for you ...at the end of the day ...TRUSTING your vehicle to perform starts with a car which has trusted specialists ...Mr LUBE is the place ...

Mr Lube lost parts of my car. Brought a company car in for simple service (oil change and tire rotation) because I thought no one could mess that up. Thank you Mr. Lube for proving me wrong and finding a way to screw up the simplest of mechanical tasks. I provided the technician with a document outlining all the work that was scheduled for the specific mileage and they attempted to up sell me on extra services that were outside of the scheduled maintenance twice and twice I had to point out on the document provided that what they were trying to do was outside of what was required or approved. To make my first visit to Mr. Lube even more memorable their technician lost the lug nuts for my wheels. When confronting the staff that there were lug nuts missing the technician without skipping a beat told me "that's how you brought it in". Knowing this wasn't the case since the dealership doesn't deliver a car with lug nuts missing and having been driving the car for the last 2 months and not seeing a dark hole that was now there where a nut should be I knew that they had screwed up and were simply passing the blame. The other shady bit would be that any half decent car place would point out to a driver that lug nuts are missing as it would be a safety issue but instead Mr. Lube simply tried to hand the car back like a child that broke someone's toy but doesn't want to admit it and hopes it goes unnoticed. We are all human and errors happen (misplacing parts or dropping it into some weird crevice that it can't be retrieved from) but the professional move would be to own up to an error and correct it rather than trying to send a customer on their way with poorly secured wheels. Would not recommend anyone go here unless you enjoy being told your car was missing parts when it wasn't. Up next will be the car only having 3 tires when picking it up and Mr. Lube telling me that it only had 3 wheels when I drove it in.

Fast friendly service offering coffee water or very good hot chocolate I might add while you wait as well as a news paper. The wait time usually depends upon arrival as it is first come first serve and most attendants that reccomend services will show you what is wrong and explain why you need this service done or filter replaced which makes it easy for me as the customer to u derstand and decide whether or not to do the service. Also they offer up colouring books and crayons for the children while waiting for the oil change which parents really appreciate. Very kind courteous staff and I would reccomend mr lube on central to anyone of my friends and family and pretty much anyone who need an affordable oil change and other services needed to maintain your vehicle 10 out of 10 in my opinion.

(Translated) Hello I am here to tell you about an injustice done to us at Mister Lube. Last November, we went there (my partner and I), the one on the Champlain to change our tires to put winter tires. Arriving on site, the "professional" on site let us know that one of our wheels had a nail in it that we had to put away, then we asked him if we could reuse our wheels for the next season, so come back to replace the wheels that we change to put them in summer, he clearly told us that our wheels were in good condition and that we could still use them the following season. During the month of May, we are therefore going back to change our tires in order to add the old ones that we removed in winter. After a check by this same "professional" they let us know that 2 of non tires are no longer in good condition that we had to buy two more. What we did without flinching. When we returned, with our 2 new all-season wheels, he told us that the 2 old wheels we had on the car in winter (including the wheel that had the highlight) were winter wheels. When we wanted to address the situation, the only solution they offered us would be to install the 2 all-season wheels (the new ones) plus the two winter ones (the ones he removed in winter, one with a nail in it) with no installation costs but you had to pay to repair the one with the nail. What I don't understand dear "professional" from Mister Lube, that's why you made me buy 4 new winter wheels for my car if I had come with 4 winter wheels to install on my car. As a professional, you make the difference between winter tires and all-season tires better than I do not you? Why didn't you tell me that I already have winter tires instead of spending more than $ 600. Also, why on our return in May, you did not tell us at the same time that our 4 wheels were winter wheels, you remember, when you told us that 2 of them were no longer usable. And finally, why do you want me to uninstall 4 winter wheels to add 2 winter wheels (including the one with the highlight) and 2 all-season wheels? Can someone help me understand? (Original) Bonjour Je suis ici pour vous raconter une injustice qui nous a été faite a Mister Lube. En novembre dernier, nous nous sommes rendus là-bas(mon conjoint et moi), celui sur la Champlain pour changer nos pneus pour mettre des rous d'hiver. Arrivée sur place, le "professionnel" sur place nous a laissé savoir que l'une de nos roues avait un clou dedans qu'on devait ranger, ensuite on lui a demandé si on pouvait réutiliser nos roues pour la prochaine saison, donc revenir replacer les roues qu'on change pour les mettre en été, il nous a clairement dit que nos roues etaient en bon état et qu'on pourrait encore les utiliser la saison d'après. Au cours du mois de mai, nous sommes donc retourner pour changer nos pneus afin d'ajouter les anciens que nous avons enlever en hiver. Après une vérification de ce même "professionnel" ils nous fait savoir que 2 de non pneus ne sont plus en bon état qu'il fallait en acheter deux autres. Ce que nous avons fait sans broncher. A notre retour, avec nos 2 nouvelles roues toutes saisons, il nous afait savoir que les 2 anciennes roues que nous avions sur la voiture en hiver(dont la roue qui avait le clou) étaient des roues d'hiver. Quand nous avons voulu adresser la situation, la seule solution qu'ils nous ont proposé serait d'installer les 2 roues toutes saisons (les neuves) plus les deux d'hiver ( celles qu'il a enlevé en hiver dont l'une avec un clou dedans) sans frais d'installation mais il fallait payer pour réparer celle avec le clou. Ce que je ne comprend pas cher "professionnel" de Mister Lube, c'est pourquoi m'avez-vous fait acheter 4 nouvelles roues d'hiver pour ma voiture si j'étais venu avec 4 roues d'hiver d'installer sur ma voiture. En tant que professionnel, vous faites la différence entre pneus d'hiver et pneus toute saisons mieux que moi n'est-ce pas? Pourquoi ne m'aviez-vous pas dit que j'avais déjà des pneus d'hiver au lieu de me faire dépenser plus de $600. Également, pourquoi a notre retour en mai, vous nous aviez pas dit en même temps que nos 4 roues etaient des roues d'hiver, vous vous rappelez, quand vous nous avez dit que 2 d'entre elles n'étaient plus utilisables. Et enfin, pourquoi voulez-vous que je désinstalle 4 roue d'hiver pour ajouter 2 roues d'hiver (parmi lesquelles celle qui a le clou) et 2 roues toutes saisons? Est-ce que quelqu'un peut m'aider à comprendre?

We tried this location in 8th Street because of the reviews but we got disappointed. Had an oil change done. Poor quality oil and guys who did service are incompetent. They also didn't put back plate cover underneath saying there's damage which the car didn't have before. Also, the car started making noise after we left. Turns out air filter wasn't installed back properly. I also spoke with a friend recently who informed me that he went for the same service on the same location before and the same thing happened to him that's why he didn't come back. Wouldn't recommend.

Went in to get my summer tires put on (already on rims). Was asked for additional lug nuts which I have never had--had the car/rims for over four years. They said I needed to buy specific lugs nuts and priced them for me. No thank you. Went to a different location and was able to get my tires change with out the additional purchase. I feel like they were trying to take advantage of me because I am female or because my rims are a bit of a pain to put on and they did not want to deal with it (they are more snug with the tool they use, so its a bit of a pain--but still possible!!).

Yesterday I attempted to have my oil changed at the Mr Lube in the Home Depot parking lot in Waterloo ON. The first question asked when I pulled in the service bay was "Can you please put your mask on" . I explained to the service tech I have a condition and don't wear a mask, to which he promptly told me they cannot service my vehicle if I don't wear a mask. Seriously??? At Mr Lube you stay in your vehicle as the car is serviced. I would have gladly stood outside in the rain. This is ridiculous and Mr Lube will never get another dollar from me.

I typically do all my own work to my vehicles, but this season I returned from a trip out east and had everything put into storage (and everything has been a headache with Covid). So figured I would check out the new place Mr.Lube and have to say. I will be sending my wife here (don't take that lightly, she makes me do all the work to her car) and I might just come here for now on myself! If you are looking for the most convenient thing during the holidays and Covid. Come here! Just drive up to a bag door, once someone is done they get you right in & provide the best service I have had. (I have only done my own or dealt with the dealership. So highest respect to these guy the more and more I think back! I do have to point out I had the privilege to have Pritul in service door 3. Once more I have to point out the fact I have mainly went to dealerships for most problems but I'm the YEARS owning my vehicle. VW Orillia never changed the filter or asked for the interior filter to be changed even after several years.. came here once and Pritul popped it open and showed me the most horrifying sight. So this may be a bigger issue for VW and all I can say is THANK YOU again Mr. Lube Orillia and Pritul.

The guys working today Jan 25/18 @ 8am did me a great favor. After I bent a part of my heat sheild backing out of my parking spot at work I asked them if they could help fix it as it was dragging on ground and I have to go to Toronto later today. I've never gotten my tires swapped (my husband usually goes) so I obviously wandered into their shop not knowing what I was looking for or who I should talk to but Aditya to the rescue! Aditya and his team were very helpful when I went on Monday afternoon to have my winter tires swapped out. He informed me of the wait time (about an hour to two hours) and apologized for it being so long even though it's completely out of their control. Offered to let me drop my car off and return at a later time or wait in the waiting room where there's fresh tea/coffee. All very kind gestures. I totally recommend them and would return! As a former employee of Mr lube 708 Lansdowne ptbo i can tell you this is a great company for customers & employees. you are in very good hands servicing your vehicle at this location there are specific protocols & procedures during a service (eg, communication, team work ect..) that employees are trained to follow during any service at Mr lube witch will protect the integrity of your vehicle in comparison to other quick lubes that i have worked for that do not follow protocol witch can jeopardize your vehicle. these prices are good compared to other shops & there are no "sales tactics" because everything you buy for your vehicle will benefit your vehicle & if you did your research & listened to the technician youd know just how extensive the maintenance schedule is for your vehicle (change oils and fluids such as engine antifreeze coolant , transmission oil , axle oils, air filters, battery , fuel filters more) these are all things that if kept up on regularly WILL increase the life of your vehicle. you should please respect the employees as they go through the service on your vehicle Mr lube checks every point of your car during an oil change so you shouldn't take this for granted as most other shops wont check the things that are supposed to be part of the service as advertised & or promised. the management tom and Allan are fantastic youd be hard pressed to find better management as these two guys would always be there for the employees! tom & AL are dedicated to providing better customer service than the other shops. the employees here work very hard and they seriously deserve respect for what they do here. i always tried to give the best service possible as long as the customer would let me provide the best service possible. just remember that respect is a 2 way street. all customers are valued here, no matter what, on the other hand , respectful customers are held to a higher value as opposed to disrespectful customers by most places... employee pay - competitive employee hours - very good but not entirely flexible employee satisfaction/happiness - depends on individual- - job may become draining after interacting with 15 - 28 customers daily best employees are; Alex , bill , Greg , Evan , Al, Tommy, Tea, Akim, Ed dean, Damon. honorable mentions Spencer , Ryann , devin , Eddie , Matt & Jeff, Randal

I can't recommend the team here enthusiastically enough. From the moment I arrived, we were taken care of. Sing patiently and confidently explained the process - we had blown a tire and needed it fixed to get back to Toronto. While we waited, Angel approached me and my 7 year old son outside, offering lollipops, coloring books, and friendly chat. I was stunned at how caring she was for a flat tire customer! Mutha fixed the tire in no time, making sure that we returned after 5km to check that the tire repair was safe and working. I begged them to let me tip, but given their refusal, I offer this google review. There are lots of places for oil changes or tire repair, but I can't remember one that I felt so taken care of, staffed with such open-hearted and competent professionals. Thanks so much to the whole team for getting me and my son home safely, and for giving us a wonderful experience in what was a stressful situation.

They realigned my tires, make sure everything else was okay and put my spare on and gave me advice on several different solutions to fit my budget. Our rear tire popped on the driver's side on Saturday night and we didn't realize it until around 4pm. All the shops were about to close. We called over 10 tire shops that were still open and this Mr. Lube location was the only shop that does first come first serve for tire changes. They even had tires in stock that we need! Every other tire location said that the earliest they could fit us in was Monday, so we'd have to take time off work to get it fixed if that was the case. So glad we found this location and the service was great. We hung around for 20 minutes while they changed out both rear tires and the service was great! Definitely going back there again.

Everyone that works at this Mr. Lube is awesome! I phoned them to see if it was busy so I can take my car with a flat tire in for repair, they sounded happy and said to come on in. Within seconds they pulled my car into the bay and started taking the wheel off. They offered me a drink and told me to sit back while they take care of the issue. Within 5 or 10 minutes they explained to me what the issue was, how we could proceed to fix it, and also explained to me the background on why it happened and how to prevent it in the future. These guys are very knowledgable when it comes to cars, honestly way better than private dealerships or auto repair shops. The customer service was 10/10. Not only did they fix the flat tire but they also went above and beyond and made sure it wouldn’t happen to the three other tires. They checked the tire PSI, the seals and much more, when they didn’t need to do that! The issue that I came in for was due to Kal tire. I can now say I will be going to this Mr. Lube over Kal Tire in the future, for all my car issues/maintenance. Special thanks to all the members at this location including Harout, Anhad, Apkar, Chala, Raymon, Allen, Harman, and Jhomar. When one of them didn’t know for sure, they asked the other. Teamwork is the ability to work together towards a common vision. Will be back!!!

These scam artists convinced and upsold my mom (an older lady who doesn't know her way around cars at all), convincing her of the need for coolant, oil flush and overpriced wipers resulting in a $200 bill when all she went in for was an oil change.

Came in for an oil change and this team went above and beyond! I am most thrilled that they took the time to change my cabin air filter. I was told at another location that my car model DID NOT have a cabin air filter, so it would not be changed. Ok, those guys should be professionals so I believed them. But when I brought my car into the Orillia location, the guys assured me that it did and began the difficult process of making the change. They took apart my glove box professionally and changed the 7 YEAR OLD cabin air filter. No wonder my car was blowing dust. I was thrilled with their honesty, integrity and hard work. They only advised services that my car DEFINITELY needed and broke the pricing down in a way I could understand. I tried to tip them, but they asked I write a positive review instead. This location quoted $160 to change my oil. Then I went elsewhere and had it done for only $70. I' saved $90 by not using Mr. Lube. I'm not impressed with the price difference and will not recommend Mr. Lube for an oil change. I suggest shopping around despite the fact that you know the name and have seen the commercials. That's good old branding for you. In these days that usually only means it's more expensive and not necessarily quality work or great customer service.

These guys are serious scam artists. My father went in for a regular oil change here as he has been doing for years. When he left he called me alarmed by his bill of over $1,000! It turns out the manager had been working on his car and had told him that virtually every fluid in his car was due for a change (transmission, differentials, coolant ect.) I thought this was a little strange so I referred to his owners manual and indeed none of them were due, in fact the coolant and different fluids on his car are lifetime fluids and never need to be changed. We had to go over the managers head to get this blatant scam resolved. Beware, the poor business practices here come from the top down.

Beware of these individuals. I would consider myself knowledgable about working on my own vehicle. When I went in for an oil change the worker told me I needed to replace my rear differential fluid and showed me motor oil mixed with water. This individual also told me I needed new wipers because they were old. I had changed them 5 minutes before coming in. When I questioned the worker they started to say it was suggestions that I replace things. After I left I went under my truck and looked at the drain plug on my rear differential and it had not been touched. The rust around it didn't show signs of being opened. So I got my ratchet out of my truck and took the plug out, placed my finger in the hole, and it turns out my fluid is nice and gold. The fluid they had shown me was not what was in my vehicle, and I know what motor oil and water looks like. Take what these people say with a grain of salt. If they say you need new brakes, just say okay and go to a licenced mechanic. If they say you need different fluids, just say thanks and go to a licenced mechanic. The running theme is these people can clearly change oil but they are not qualified to complete work outside of this, and in my experience are fraudulant, as mentioned above.

I got my oil changed here and I was told that my battery was failing and needed to be replaced immediately. I later tested my battery myself by measuring the fluid density in all cells, the voltage and the cold weather cranking amps. The battery tested well in all categories and continues to start the truck in -20 temperatures. I conclude that these guys will tell you anything to make a sale.

BEWARE!!! I had a tire puncture that needed repair. They called me an hour later saying that another (second) puncture was found and that tire was beyond repair. Both punctures were in the middle of the thread so I didn't see a reason why this would be the case. Either way, I took the tire to Canadian Tire and sure enough, no problem. I am also pretty sure I went in with one puncture but there is no way to prove it.... If this is not a scam than at least a gross incompetence.

I took my car in to have a tire repair done as I discovered a leak in my tire. Took it to Mr.Lube because it was a Saturday and not many places were open. Once the staff at Mr.Lube examined my tire they stated it was in the side wall and it was not repairable. Frustrated I left, however later got out and looked at my tire and noticed the nail was in the tread so I took it to Kal Tire to get a second opinion. The staff at Kal Tire said it was repairable, and clearly Mr.Lube just didn’t want to do it. I do not recommend going to this place for any type of service. The staff there are young and appear to be very inexperienced.

Utterly incompetent. Requested the $99 synthetic oil change. After 1.5 hours, a good part of that time blindly trying to re-attach a skid plate that covered the oil drain plug and the greater of the time lost when the people trying to do my oil change had to go over to the next bay to babysit an employee who had NO idea what she was doing. I was presented a $152 bill including tax, the rationale/BS excuse was that there were all these additional charges for an oil filter and excess oil for a 3.0L motor? Really, that needed to be disclosed at the onset. Why would we spend $152 for an oil change when we could do that for equal or less with our dealership. At the end of the nightmare they had stripped two of the female input threads on the mounts for the skid plate and of course tried to blame that on somebody or something else other than their incompetence. I have used MR Lube in the past with good/newer cars and the cost/value/service was fine...this location, avoid at all costs.

Poor service. You have to push them that u have to go somewhere so that they will start looking into your car. I was just waiting and waiting as ppl just came before me and got their cars done. Only when I asked them what's going on they started looking into my car. Went in for a simple tire change that turned into a day long frustration and 200$ expense. I was told that whoever fixed my tires previously broke one of the wheel nut and stud. The car was actually running just fine all summer and fall. Had to take it to Canadian store to get my stud replaced as I was told that they don't have proper tools to replace studs. And to top it all they didn't fix the remainder of the nuts properly as well. I was feeling a wobble when I was driving and guess what couple of wheel nuts were loose.had to fix it myself. Will never return.

The most unhelpful people. Came with an issue to change spark plugs and engine coils on. I was denied service for not justified reason. Only explanation that an Audi A3, which is sold in Canada, is too complex for them - as it is an imported car. With all this said, the people were servicing VW Golf - not at all imported car! And when we asked for just tools - were denied. This was a direct coordination of their supervisor. Basically people said that we should get in our car and solve our problems else where. Suggestion to everyone - do not go this shop. They care little about people’s problems in cars. P.S. store supervisor also acknowledged that the service we require they preform - but I guess they did not like us to help with an issue. All is personal judgment based on the events from my (consumer’s) point of view.

Best experience I have had at a Mr.Lube! Of all my years getting oil changes I have never had such great service. They truly did it all! Guru was very kind, as was Chris, both who serviced me. I needed my transmission done and they did it in a timely manner and didn't try to constantly upsell me like at other locations. My car has been burning oil recently and Chris told me to come back in after the holidays so they can check on it, free of charge. I have never had such a terrible experience as I had today at Mr. Lube, this is not the first time I have had issues, last time the tech broke my glove box and didn't say anything thinking I didn't see. Today I was charged $160 for a typical $80 tire change - I have been getting my tires switched each year by Canadian Tire, RPM Automotive and Voyager these have always cost less than 90$ this time at Mr. lube they wanted me to change all my lug nuts or they wouldn't warranty the work, I spoke with the manager on the phone as my girlfriend was the one there, the conversation escalated to the manager saying "I am a licensed mechanic and I have the power of not even letting you take your vehicle until the nuts are changed" .... Obviously I was not happy with that comment so I tried to re explain why I didn't agree with the almost double cost the manager then said I can't talk to this guy anymore and handed the phone to someone else..... I have never witnessed such poor customer's service. Its really to bad because this location used to be the go to but with what I have heard being the Google Maps Local Guide leader of Sudbury there have been multiple reports ranging from fraud to broken vehicle parts.

Never again, these guys are shysters! Went in for a basic oil change. The guy agreed to do it right away, got me a coffee and newspaper to read while I sat in the car and they did the work. All good there. Until... The guy says our transmission fluid also needed to be changed. Shows me this black sludge that they apparently found when checking the fluid. So, of course, I gave them the go-ahead to do the change. WELL called my husband to tell him that I was also getting the transmission fluid changed. He tells me that he'd JUST gotten it done a few weeks prior and had either forgotten to tell me, or he did tell me and I forgot about it. Hubby confirmed with me that he had checked the trans. fluid after getting it done at the other shop and they had done it properly (he knows how to change it but hates doing it so we pay someone else to look after this). Regardless, the fluid did NOT need changing. At that time our car only had about 80,000 kms on it, so wouldn't have been burning or damaging transmission fluid for any reason. By then they had already drained half the trans. fluid, but I did bring up my new doubts with the guy who'd told me the fluid needed to be changed. He just insisted that the fluid was in desperate need of changing and showed me some bucket of black sludgy liquid that had *apparently* come from my car... however, it looked like it had been in the bucket for a while because there were no splashes on the sides of this bucket, which is what you'd expect if they had honestly just poured several inches of liquid into the bucket. At that point I felt I had no choice but to just let them finish whatever they were doing, pay for the service and get the heck away from there. In the end, they basically tricked me into paying for an almost $200 service (don't remember the exact charge, that number may not be totally accurate, sorry!) that really didn't need to be done at all. Seems like they must make a habit of this (or at least that one guy does) since he knew all the right things to say and do to put doubt in my mind. After reading other reviews, seems to be their MO. Shame on me for not checking reviews first! After going home and discussing what happened with my husband, he and I decided it seems pretty scammy and we will never return to another Mr Lube. Never ever again. Spare yourselves!

Today,21-Nov-2021 i visited Mr.lube 3388 Douglas St, Victoria, BC V8Z 3L3 I had a nail in the front tire of my car, when i just entered, one person asked me whats the problem, i told him i see nail in the front tire & tire is not flat, he told me to come in the queue where i was waiting for 1 hour. when i was in with my vechile, he told me since the nail is on the inside edge, we do not have sufficent tools here. So we cannot repair it, so my one hour was wasted in cold Sunday evening. So this means if you see nail in your tyres on the inside edges, please don't visit Mr Lube, please go elsewhere....

Only reason for giving this a 2 star rating is because the sweet lady that came out to greet us was very kind. We were told a 30-45 min wait upon arrival, and decided to wait it out. We had a nail in our tire (approx 4.5 inches away from the outer wall of the tire). They said it would be a $40.00 fix ($46.00 after tax) which we were okay with. After waiting about an hour, we were directed in, and told that our tires were too worn, and that the nail was too close to the wall of the tire. I said that would have been nice knowing about an hour ago before we had to wait the hour. The guy said “Well, we’re not going to come out in the rain and check your tire”, and started humming and hawing about how if I get into an accident it’s my fault due to the tread on my tires. Thanks for info. They tried giving me a quote for 4 new tires.. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. I’m no expert, but rather than to have your paying customers wait an hour, for something that you could have taken less than a minute to observe, and I’m SO SORRY - in the rain.. would have been a nice practice of customer service. My brother fixed my tire, with no issues, in less than 5 minutes. Keeps it’s pressure, and works just fine. You can keep your ‘complimentary coffee/paper/wifi’.. I want my hour back.

They try to upsell you. That is how business works after all. They have never been pushy. They have never screwed up to date. I would easily (and have) recomended Mr. Lube.

After being turn away for the Halifax Mr. lube an hour before they closed. The wonderful crew at Dartmouth Mr. Lube went above and beyond to provide me with the service I come to expect from Mr.Lube. The brought my car in with 15 mins left before closing, they performed a tire changeover and were very courteous, professional and friendly. They did not rush us out or do a half ass job. They did the Mr. Lube brand proud and the franchise owner should commend his workers on a job well done! I don't remember my technicians name but he had a beard and he is definately an asset to your team.

They did an oil change. They proposed a bunch of services that my car doesn't need but if you know your car, you know what needs to be replaced. They filled up my windshield washer fluid and cleaned my windshield wich was awesome but you have to remember that those are very low cost things and it is a marketing tactic to make you feel like they really care about your wellbeing and might lure you into trusting them with useless services. The service was good and they did my oil change but I only give 3 stars because I can see how other people might spend on useless services. I would still recommend using a local and honest mechanic but if you need an oil change quickly, this place is acceptable.

Excellent service! So I went there twice with our second vehicle. No appointment, just first come, first serve. It's really fast (12min in total for the second vehicle). You stay in your vehicle. After being shamed/pressured into having my cabin air filter changed in the fall at this location, I was getting no warm air on my feet to the point I had to bring a blanket into my car for my legs. Brought my car into the dealership to find out what was going on. To find out that the the air filter had not been installed properly and the door was left open and broken. Very disappointed. Ended up costing be over $150 to have it replaced and the door fixed.

We not only come here for oil changes but also to have our tires switched over to Winter or switched over to Summer. With 3 bay areas there is usually zero wait time! I was able to enter without as much as putting my vehicle in park. This is important to me as I do not have the patience to sit and wait. I was greeted by Kuldip who was extremely professional and friendly. He explained the services available and offered me my choice of Coffee, Tea or Water (nice touch). Kuldip checked all the fluids, tire pressure, lights and even lubricated the doors while Singh (I have my invoice in front of me) worked from underneath. They really gave my vehicle a good look over which left me feeling confident that my vehicle was in good shape without any leaks or missing fluids. This is my first visit to this location.. It certainly will not be my last.

At first it was great service welcoming and oil change finished for only 15 -20 mins. The next day left Vancouver to Edmonton 13 hrs drive. Finally safe home BUT realized something is bothering me parked my car underneath like hanging it must be the oil change service recently had. I am so tired and frustrated no time to call and complain right away. Couples of days I called the store and corporate office to recall my service. Now still waiting for the update. I suggest not to go to Mr. Lube it is not valuable as a customer. FYI 2 -3 visit mr.lube my first time had incident like this. I always go for a long drive do my oil change before and after a long drive.

The worst oil change experience. Which is highly uncommon. Brought in someone ahead of me, i let it go. No big deal. But if you're in a rush, or on a time constraint this could be a factor. The new staff is not very knowledgeable or courteous. The old staff were friendly and knew their stuff. And this was the big kicker that sealed the deal for a 1 star rating. The staff member reached into my vehicle with the same oily and greasy gloves that he had been using for servicing my vehicle to TRY and reset the oil life on my steering wheel controls. Totally unacceptable. Had my oil not been drained from my vehicle. I would have left.

Went in to get my oil changed. The guys were great, but I can't help but feel like trying to get upsold 6 times on a truck that isn't even a year old seems like a bit much. Then after saying no to all of them, you get charged for two unrealated 'courtesy services' One again, the employees here are awesome. I don't know if it's managerial protocol, but if I had a grandma that knew nothing in regards to vehicles... this would not be a palatable recommendation for me.

Scammers. Took my car for seasonal tire change, won't install tires and said that I have to get new ones and it is unsafe to drive with these. Went to another Mr. Lube and they installed it no problem. Took to another one that someone recommended and they showed me what to look for when it comes to tires. To change the lower head lamp bulbs for the car, the wheel with a wheel lock had to be removed and my wheel lock key was lost in truck. JAMES who is the manager, took up the job and finished it in less than 30 mins. He is professional, honest, highly skilled with lots of knowledge and experience. You can close your eyes and trust them with your car !!

The oil change I received was done well and in a friendly, timely fashion. Additional services were offered but the up sell wasn't too aggressive. A tail light could not be changed. This is fine as I can get my Service Centre can do it. However, if a service is offered then adequate training should be provided so the Technician can achieve it. The drive through option was an plus in the Covid environment.

Bad customer service. They block you in and try to take your keys. The manager tried to tell me that my car will not work with regular oil and is required to have high mileage. The tried to charge me $61.99 for an oil change and kept telling me to look in my glove box for the receipt of my last visit. He then walked off and left me sitting there. Returned and told me that i was not listening to him and to tell me what i wanted to do. Everytime i tried he would cut me off. I finally told him that HE wasnt listen to me to explain to him what i wanted. I left an went someplace else. I feel sorry for the girl next to me. They must have got her good. We had to get our snow tires put on and they aren't on rims which makes it harder, and there is absolutely no where that could take them , everybody was booked solid. The only places without appointment that could take them were first come first serve, and we only have the one vehicle and my hubby works till 6 because of his schedule, so they were nice enough to take our vehicle at night to leave it there and fix it the next day until we were done work at 6 and were able to pick it up. They have one specialized technician for a low profile tire for our Audii. They put the tires on right, they put the rims on right, balanced them and they even put the weights on facing the back of the tire like you're supposed to! so all in all we were very impressed I would definitely recommend for quick jobs like tire change overs and oil changes.

Had a bit of an unfortunate experience. They put the wrong fluid in my grandpas car(mistakes happen) and the car broke down due to seemingly unrelated problem. However, they were super proactive about getting it fixed and flushed with the correct fluid. They also covered all related expenses including towing and a refund on the original service. I was pretty unhappy with the original mistake, but super happy how well they owned up to it. Super upfront and transparent. It was a pleasant surprise.

I just arrived for an oil change and was pleasantly surprised when the honest service technician told me I’m not due yet for an oil change and could wait another 4000 Kms. He topped up all my car fluids and checked tire pressure all complimentary! Awesome service!!!

This by far has to be the best Mr.Lube location I have been to. Staff was very friendly and excellent customer service. Knowledge was also very good. They changed my oil,filter and spark plugs on my 2010 civic and topped up all fluids, tire pressure, hinge grease and even a newspaper while I wait. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks!

Service seemed good. Staff was freindly and professional. Price was higher than I expected for an oil change, it is $30 cheaper at my dealership for the exact same service with fluid top ups, door hinge lubricated, etc.. $120 for an oil change and a drain plug is excessive.for a 4 cylinder, even with full synthetic. Other than price, everything seemed good.

Today I've been there for the first time for oil change and tire repair, and I am going to go back so far as i live in the neighbourhood. I had a nice experience with quality service and no waste of time. What I I've noticed from the quotes I got from them for some other services is that they do not try to sell things to you that you do not need and it is a nice thing to deal with some people that you trust and just help with the things that you only need. I have gone through various places like this but I have to say, I was totally impressed with this joint! Firstly, this place is considerably more busy then the other places. I asked for a few places for prices and they varied from $75 to over a $100. I paid $62 as listed there are enviro fees and taxes extra Secondly, as I patiently waited, I was brought out a paper, water and an information card. Then he washed my windows, sprayed silicone on the door hindges and then ushered me into the garage. It is sort of like an assembly line process. A lot of check, clear, okay being said. As one reviewer said there was bickering between staff members, I didn't have any but would have dreaded hearing it. I will end with, it is super easy to find faults. I found out of visiting these fast food type Lube Joints, this was the best so far.

First few times were amazing. Great customer service!!! I called to get a battery change, they didn't have my type so i went somewhere else and got the battery and an oil change. The last time I went they seemed to be annoyed that I went somewhere else...then they got even worse when I said no to all of their upsells! The guy was making comments to the other guy working on the car next to me and everything! Probably won't go here again. I have never seen people get so annoyed by us not getting anything extra. I just wanted an oil change! UPDATE: As per their response to this review I submitted my thoughts to their email and NO response...as expected!

Pulled in and was informed there would be a 25 minute wait. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get in. There was 1 car ahead of me, and they made me move to give someone else the bay I was waiting for. They then asked me to move again. Then they had no idea which oil should be used even though we exclusively use Mr Lube in Calgary. OEM filter was told $10, charged $16. They stated “customer requested no check” which never happened, so they didn’t check anything else, just changed the oil. Zero apologies. Zero accountability. Zero integrity. Zero professionalism. Go somewhere else.

I called at 530pm this evening (Friday) and asked if they could fit me in for an oil change and a check-engine code scan, and they happily told me it was no problem, no appointment required. When I pulled in, I was greeted with friendliness by both workers, who promptly began working on my truck. Not only did they do an oil change, but they also checked tire pressure, topped all fluids, greased my door hinges, offered free windshield wiper replacements on the spot, washed my windows, checked the check-engine code and explained each issue that it read for me to understand, and just gave a fantastic, swift, informative service for the price of an oil change. I'm surprised I've never gone before, but I'll definitely be a reoccurring customer. This really brightened a terrible day I was having. Thanks guys!

Odd everyone has had bad experiences. I've been going here for years and while they do try and up sell some things from time to time, I've never felt really pressured. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. Don't have the free coffee though, that stuff is terrible.

My youngest son took my car in for an oil change. The amounts charged for the air filter and cabin filters are 2-3 times retail !! $50 for air and $70 for cabin filter ! COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS ! even with the $10 off coupons for each one it's unacceptable. Can't see going back to Mr Lube Ever !

However, messaging next year will ensure clarity that diesel vehicles are offered at 50%. Overall, I am impressed that Mr Lube was able to see the issue from the consumer lens and rectify the situation in a timely manner. But they didn't even have the oil in stock and asked me to come back later. It was free last year, same vehicle. Mr Lube is falsely saying free oil changes for veterans. If you drive a diesel truck, mine is a 6cyl EcoDiesel, they won't honour what they advertise. So disappointed in companies that say they offer something then go back on their word. Such a let down.

I purchased four new winter tires and four new steel rims at Canadian Tire today. But, they couldn't put the tires on the rims since it was the first snow fall, and they were really busy with people wanting winter tires put on their vehicles. So, I call Mr. Lube on 8th street and spoke to a young man by the name of Dawson or Dalton (?) , I couldn't hear him over the shop noise. Who was pleasant, professional, and willing to accommodate me. He said to bring the tires and rims in, and he would try to mount and balance them between vehicles. I would then take them and place them on my vehicle before the next morning. I dropped the tires and rims off at Mr. Lube and took my kids shopping. Then 15 minutes later, I get the call saying that my tires were done?! I was pleasantly surprised. When I picked up the tires, I was told that they were easy to mount on the rims and he worked through part of his lunch. He even charged me the standard rate opposed to the higher fee for low profile tires, which can be difficult to mount. I have to say, this is how you run a business! A can-do attitude, positivity, professionalism, and a smile! They earned my loyalty today and I will be going back the next time I need to service my vehicle. P.S. I hope you guys enjoyed the coffee ☕ and donuts???? !
