We were looking for a used van and so went to check out Parkcity. When we found out we could get a new van for about the same cost as a used one we had some thinking to do! The staff was very helpful and a few short weeks later we are now the proud owners of a 2013 Toyota Sienna!

I bought a used vehicle from the lot. After a few 1000 miles I bring it in for service and I'm informed of the source of a oil leak will cost $3500 to fix and now add the loose bearing and a leaking rad hose and we're at 4500! Non of this was declared, and in the case of the oil leak maybe even hidden! I would advise anyone buying from this outfit to take the vehicle to a third party mechanic for evaluation!

I arrived at the service department at Parkcity Toyota, unannounced, during a cross country trip from southwestern Ontario to Victoria BC. I had my Lexus RX350 serviced in Ontario a week prior to my trip and the exhaust system was replaced. When I arrived in Medicine Hat, I heard some rattling from under the car. After just a couple minutes the service technicians discovered that a component of the exhaust hadn't been fastened during the installation in Ontario last week. They fixed it immediately and even allowed my unruly dog who was travelling with me to wait in the waiting area. I am ecstatic to be able to safely continue my journey, thanks to the service team! Bought a van day long distance and it was a better experience than recently trying to shop locally. I travelled from Saskatoon, & had no surprises. Best part, the van was better than anticipated. I originally went into ParkCity Toyota, with my wife's Toyota Tacoma for an oil change. While I was looking around the show room, I noticed that the Tundras were on sale for quite a bit off, and zero percent financing was available! I went home and told my wife, and a couple of weeks later we were the proud owners of a brand new 2012 Tundra. Even though we loved our Tacoma, the Tundra was better suited to our needs. I am quite tall and needed more space, and we wanted to pull a larger trailer, so the Tundra fit us like a glove!! We have been dealing with ParkCity for approximately 15 years now and Cindy Chapman is one of the most professional and friendly salesperson we have ever dealt with. She knows her Toyotas!! As a matter of fact everyone we dealt with were great!!! It was an excellent experience leasing a RAV4 XLE AWD with Medicine Hat Toyota. Larry and Brandon helped me to get the car. They are truly friendly, genuinely, and sincerely. They show their passion for their sales work. I had been shopping around most of the dealers in Medicine Hat, and I can tell you that Toyota has the best customer service. Other dealers do not care about the customers, your needs and just keep badmouthing other cars' brands. Do you think such a bad attitude will get you any customers, for example, the sales at Hxxxx. Those dealers gave me pressure and tried to get me sign the deal. I can see why those dealerships have no customers inside. Larry and Brandon from Medicine Hat Toyota didn’t give me pressure and badmouth other brands. Instead, they encouraged me to shop around. I ended up choosing the deal with them. Larry also helped me to set up the vehicle. Brandon placed the order, and the car just arrived the next day!! It was efficient. I highly recommend Medicine Hat Toyota.

We brought in our 2006 Toyota Camry for a diagnostics check after it had been failing to start. The service staff and ladies at the front desk worked tirelessly to resolve the issue. Even after our stubborn, stubborn car gave them DAYS of grief, they still made it right! (Not to mention, they did it without breaking the bank!!) If you need your Toyota serviced, Park City Toyota is your answer.

Take it from a retired mechanic, the service department here are crooks. They take a full job pricing and charge you for a change out of each piece individually. Adding about double the time of the job. If they followed book time properly instead of charging 11hours it would actually be about 6 hours. This is the kind of shop that gives mechanics a bad name. I relayed this story to so many people that have already determined they'd rather drive to Lethbridge then have them work on their vehicle anymore. So all the money we've given them over the years, I guess this is how they want it to end.

The plan was to go camping for a week at Cyprus Hills ... thwarted by my engine burning out on the first day. The team at MedHat Toyota were incredible, and went well beyond simple customer care. The right car was on the lot, and they were able to rush delivery of a hitch and controller, letting me get back to Edmonton in just a few days. I had heard a rumour that some car dealerships actually value customers ... and it was great to finally find such a place.
Such a bad first impression. I was booked for an oil change at 7 30am on Tuesday morning. I admit that I was a little late and arrived at 7 43am. I walked up to the service reception and the lady said they'd have to rebook me because they already got someone already ????. So I went up to front desk and explained the situation and front desk girl goes let me get try to fix it for you. Goes to the back started talking with the manager and the service reception lady. Came back negative response lol. Reception lady even tried to tell me that I'm in the wrong for being late. Yes I'm in the wrong but they couldve at least had the decency to call me and let me know if they are letting someone in. I told her that and then said why would we call you we only call customer hour after if they miss an appointment(which isn't my case). Ended up changing the time to 10:30. Funny how they said last night that they didn't have an opening today other than the 730. Great going!
These guys were fantastic to deal with. Brandon was very accessible and helpful while I purchased a car from them from another province. Due to ignorance of employees and brokers of Manitoba Public Insurance, I ran into a number of headaches with allowing the safety to be accepted in Manitoba. Every time Brandon was there to forward paperwork etc. to allow me to jump through the hoops that my insurance company asked. I showed up in Medicine Hat and the car was exactly as described, and they covered all bases to make sure the vehicle passed the safety fairly. Everything worked out great and my trip was not wasted. I purchased a used 2012 chevy equinox through this dealership, Larry was my salesman and he was really great to work with, he thoroughly answered any questions i had about the vehicle with honesty and patience. Larry and the dealership went above and beyond, i purchased winter tires from them and they installed them on the vehicle for me, Larry even drove the vehicle out to Swift Current to meet me halfway on delivering it . Bought my tundra in february and love it...cindy, tina and erin made the entire experience excellent...service staff are excellent as well.
Not recommended. Lack of basic professionalism and expertise. 8000km: complained about the battery being dead once. Had to jump it myself. ~16000km: battery was dead again. 3rd time now. They didn't have one in stock. They changed the battery at a later date. Mileage was too close to the 16k mark so they also did the regular servicing under an extended warranty. Had to take the car into the dealership many times since then for the same battery drain issue. So much so that the servicing staff know me by now. Not my objective, regardless of how nice they are. Told them that other 2020 RAV4 Hybrid XSE owners were having the same issue (google 2020 RAV4 Hybrid XSE battery issues) and that Toyota issued a firmware update for it. Was like talking to a brick wall. ~25000km: the battery is dead again. They blamed my dashcam this time and charged me for "troubleshooting". They disconnected the dashcam and I removed it from the car completely. Mileage was too close to the 25k mark so they also did the regular servicing. Less than 25200km: the battery is dead again. They don't have one in stock. Why are these batteries flying off their shelves like hotcakes if everything is so perfect? Now they finally want to put a firmware update, except they are saying it's for a 2019 RAV4. Mine is 2020. I've decided to cut ties with this dealership and this automaker. My patience and agreeableness were taken advantage of. I left feeling defrauded because all I got was a flea circus when I paid for the Cirque du Soleil. This seems to be a theme across the dealership because they tried to sell me scammy extras like windshield "diamond" coating and cathodic protection on top of the extended warranty that I was already paying for. I'll be telling everyone in my professional and personal circle to stay away from this Toyota dealership. PS: If the folks downstairs are not getting it done for you, talk to the top boss upstairs. I didn’t even know it was an option until I did. From the sound of it, she didn’t even know that there was a whole flea circus going on right under her nose. *** Okay, I have no other way to respond to Toyota's comment, so here it goes... *** Firstly, thank you for everything. I agree, let bygones be bygones. I was happy with all of the above until you mentioned the extras. Those two products don't do what they claim to do. For cathodic protection, anyone with high school science knowledge would tell you that the physics don't make sense. Not at that price point, especially. It is a product that's made for marine applications, not for metal boxes that are riding on not very conductive rubber tires on not very conductive asphalt. Also, and I should have mentioned this before, some of your staff don't wear mask around customers. I'll refrain from naming names, but I'm sure you have the means to find out. Not very indicative of caring for customers. Lastly, I don't think the remedial actions you took would have happened had I not escalated the issue first to the General Sales Manager and then to you (General Manager). I believe I would have gone on to my 15th visit, and nothing would have changed. You are misrepresenting the facts when you say that you picked up my car, as if you've done it all along. You didn't. I had to insist on that only on my last visit because I was sick of this. In the earlier visits, they didn't even tell me that a ride home was an option while they were working on my car. I had to wait there in the dealership. Only during my very last visit, after I decided I had enough and I let them know, was I offered a loaner and they picked up my car both ways because that morning I had to jump my own car to get to work, and I couldn't wait for the whole circus to get into session. Again, excellent experience with you, and thank you for listening. PS: if you have scientific literatures or published papers showing the efficacy of those scammy extras, I'd be very interested to know. I am always open to change my mind based on best available evidence.

I got an oil change on my wife's 2012 Venza yesterday. I noticed right away the new owner has a much more aggressive and pushy service department. I had to repeat myself multiple times that I was there for an oil change only. In the end the service writer handed me a "quote" for replacing struts, timing cover seal, and a fog lamp, that came to almost $6000. This, despite the fact I'd repeatedly told her I was there for an oil change only. I did some research and found I could easily replace the struts in my garage for around $500 plus my time. The fog lamp is a $20 part which takes 5 minutes to change (the quote for the fog lamp was over $400). The timing cover seal isn't actually leaking. There's never been a single drop of oil on the floor, and no visible leak. The oil they saw was the oil they spilled. So for around $600 and some hand cleaner I can do what they wanted to charge $6000 for? Do you think we'd get treated any worse if we bought in Calgary?

I had been thinking about upgrading years on my Rav4 and while it was in for service Tina made me a trade-in offer. They also had the upgrade I wanted on the lot......newer, less km, and my preferred colour. My lucky day! The process from trade-in to driving off the lot in an upgraded Rav4 was pleasant and seamless thanks to the whole team but particularly Tina and Erin. I have dealt with many Toyota Dealers across the years but Medicine Hat Toyota is the best.
Stopped in at Toyota no appointment, I had a piece of trim loose on my vehicle. The service tech said about an hour, while talking the service manager climbed under the vehicle to take a look, next thing I know he had tools and fixed the issue...no charge....awesome customer service by all employees but service manager was awesome ...thank you Medicine Hat Toyota

Bought a used Toyota RAV4, and had a small issue with it after I got it home and had to take it to a local Toyota dealer to fix an intermittent issue.... and finally had it resolved and Medicine Hat Toyota stepped up to the plate to cover the costs as their inspection didn't diagnose it. This is a business that will stand up and do what is right! I am impressed.
They seem very disorganized, the right hand does not know what the left has said or is doing. They seem dishonest about certain things. Always make sure that you have documentation about anything they say they have done.

Poor Service never answer the phone never call you back you bring your vehicule for waranty issue they order half the part we need to fix the vehicule after more then 2 weeks i still have a leak in my engin and not fix . The only way they get buisiness its because that the only toyota dealer in medicine hat. knowing of that poor service i will never have bought a toyota where the only dealer cant fix it ! I bought a 07' Tacoma from Medicine Hat Toyota last weekend. Everyone was professional, polite and went above and beyond for me. Shout out to Larry and Erin for all the extra effort. Even on their days off they responded to text messages and answered all of my questions. I felt that the dealership cared about the vehicle that they were selling me. They put a bunch of work into the truck to make sure I was getting a quality vehicle. When it was noticed the service tech missed the oil change after I had already purchased the vehicle, they paid out of pocket for it to be done in Edmonton. I was extremely happy with my experience. Would do business with them again!

I went to Parkcity to get my Tacoma serviced, specifically asking them to do the 40000km scheduled maintenance, no more and no less. I was told that that would be $170 and, not having the schedule on hand, assumed that they had to do something beyond changing the oil. When I went to pick up the vehicle, their own pamphlet that was stapled to the receipt stated that the 40000km service is a simple oil change that should only have cost $48.95. Their customer service rep kept saying "....but you did agree to it...."

I recently purchased a 2019 Tacoma Off road from Medicine Hat Toyota with the assistance of Tina from their sales team. I had a good experience with Tina and Erin in Finance. Tina was knowledgeable about the vehicle, offered me straightforward answers and was very helpful along the way. I live several hours away and Tina made sure the vehicle was ready when I arrived, offered to help with transportation and assisted with the license and registration process. We visited many other brand dealerships and came very close to purchasing a different vehicle. Not one other dealership provided us with ‘top to bottom’ information on the vehicle we were looking at. We were EXTREMELY IMPRESSED when Brandon physically walked us through all the vehicle’s qualities, pointing out the many features and special detail to the design of the vehicle. It is one thing to read and be well informed when purchasing a vehicle however, every other dealership we visited just handed us a key to test drive. This did not happen at Toyota. Our final decision in choosing between the two vehicles was ultimately based on the customer service we received.

I just picked up my 2021 Toyota Tacoma today at Medicine Hat Toyota and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. Larry made me feel like the most important client on the planet from the moment I stepped in to the building. He was low pressure but so accommodating. I felt like I was walking into Cheers every time I went back as I was greeted by name by a number of staff or just greeted by those who didn't know me. I was a bit undecided on a few things like color and accessories. I felt like Larry gave me an honest opinion on the pros and cons of each and when it came down to the price of the purchase I left feeling like I came out ahead. I have spent a long time these past 6 months searching for what I wanted and determining a price that I thought was fair to both myself and the dealership and they beat the price I had in mind.
