I went to see Doug at Maple City Tire to get new set of snow tires to replace the AT tires on my truck. Doug priced new tires and rims and could have had me sold in an instant. Instead, he looked at my tires and told me they are already rated for snow and would get me through this season. Excellent service and generous people! If you have never been here before I would absolutely trust them to be honest and fair and take good care of your vehicle! I stopped for gas during a long trip and suddenly had a problem with the rear tire holding air and became stranded in London. After googling nearby tire repair I saw the great reviews on Maple City and decided to give it a try. I was warmly received at the shop and after explaining my situation the man at the counter made a priority of figuring out the problem! Not only did he keep checking in and updating me, he discovered the problem to be something totally obscure with the valve as opposed to a puncture in the tire. I was not charged for my issue and he even gave me the pieces that had been misplaced to return to the rental place. You could tell that the individual behind the counter had a strong relationship with his customers as he greeted some by name and was so kind to me. Wonderful experience!!!!!! Kaitlynne

Started by taking my vehicle into Canadian Tire because I had a screw in it. Of course they told me they couldn't repair it and said I either needed to buy a new tire, or they could put the donut on. Ended up costing me $30 for them to do something I could have easily done myself if they had just told me the tire was irreparable. Since it was end of season anyway I went to Maple City Tire to just change my tires and figured I'd buy a new set of winters next season. Thankfully they ended up being able to repair my tire (CT was full of bull) so I should be able to get another season out of them. The owner was super friendly and the staff did a great job on the tire change and I even had them do my breaks, which went well too. No scuffs on my rims or anything like some other tire places have done before. Definitely will be going back again.

Unfortunately this is that one bad review for something that's inexcusable. Had tires stored there 3 years ago. Just went to get them and to pay the storage fee but they said they sold them. That was a shock to say the least. There's nothing they can do but sell us new tires and offer a discount. They simply sold off our personal property. And without even attempting to contact us first. There was no communication. Doesn't the concept of storage mean...storage? Not good for ongoing relationships. Very disappointed. Our tires are gone. *That's the short summary. To expand a bit, the first time I went to get them I drove in 2 hours from out of town. There was no record of the tires or of us in their system, which was so bizarre and frustrating. I left without any answers. Later we called up again, which is when they explained the tires are gone and have been sold.

I took my car in twice in July. First a new set of Michelin Tires. The price was not the cheapest but they include a heavily discounted wheel alignment that would cost 150 elsewhere. I went back and got a tune up....again price very fair. They will definately get future business from me. I dont expect anyone to do anything for nothing. They give excellent value for the price they charge.

I called this place and asked if i could make an appointment to get my o2 sensor changed. They told me i dont need an appointment just bring my car in. Im there within 20 minutes and the guy at the counter says to bring my car in earlier to if i want work done. I asked him if he could just change the o2 sensor which is a pretty simple job that doesnt take long, to my suprise without ever even looking at my car he says its more then just my o2 sensor bacause the o2 wont cause poor engine performance. I googled the o2 sensor and it shouldnt take more then 30 minutes to replace first of all, and most importantly the o2 sensor will definatly cause poor engine performance with idle and with steady throttle. Absoluty disgusted with the quality of service. 1 star is being generous

Not sure how they have a high rating. Took my car there to see what the problem is. should have done more research in finding a mechanic. Told them I smelled gas when I drive but no leak and may need a patch on my gas line. First of all they didn't even look at my car they left it outside and had one of their mechanics walk over to it. Then they said yep it needed to be patched and said it would cost about 100-200 bucks to fix. Went to another mechanic(one that had great reviews) and no it wouldn't cost 200 bucks it cost me almost $700. Avoid this place and take it to a real mechanic. First and last time ill bring my vehicle there to be "looked at" They may have loyalty from some customers but there not getting mine. Avoid and go somewhere else.

We had an extremely positive experience with this company. We live in Brampton and were visiting out son in London on March 29th, Saturday. Our Jeep had broken down in our son's driveway as soon as we arrived in London. It was mid-afternoon and we called the nearest Canadian Tire. They referred us to Doug at Maple City Tire. Well after contacting them, Doug, the owner sent one of his mechanics to my son's house nearby to inspect the vehicle and try and get it started. My husband and the mechanic were 1 hour trying to get it started. They couldn't and Doug then phoned the dealership for us; The dealership sent a tow truck to pick up the jeep. We were extremely grateful for the effort Doug and his mechanic went to, to help us in this dire situation. We were 2 hours from home and most of the garages were closed as it was late Saturday afternoon. He made sure we were taken care of right till the dealership took over with the tow truck, car rental arrangements etc. Doug did not even charge us for the mechanic to spend 1 hour trying to get the jeep started or for all the time he spent on the phone with the dealership. He just wanted to help us. How rare is that these days, a sheer act of kindness. Thank you Doug and to the nice young mechanic for your kind actions. I am sorry I did not get your name. This place is absolutely amazing! I got a nail in my tire while travelling on the 401, I was 2 hours from home and it was Saturday. A google search came up with a ton of tire places closed on the weekend. Found Maple City Tire and noticed they were closing soon. I phoned them and they told me that they don’t normally do this but they would help me out. Upon arriving I noticed how crazy busy the shop was. When I walk in Irealized how much of favour this was. They immediately repaired my tire top notch and I was sent on my way. I am so grateful for everything they did for me. I’d also like to mention how amazing the customer service was. Dropped off my car for seasonal tire swap on rims, overheard an employee tell a customer that he would shuttle him home in 10 minutes yet when I asked 5 minutes later I was told that there was no one available today for shuttle service whatsoever. Tire swap was done quick but regardless if you advertise shuttle service it should be available to everyone. OR have a sign that says “shuttle service only available if we like you”

I highly recommend these mechanics. They are honest, attentive and thorough. They don't take advantage of one's lack of car knowledge and always take the time to explain everything. Went for a tire patch, and unfortunately the tire was not repairable. They were very nice and explained/showed me why I needed a new tire (I'm less than knowledgable about cars), and never treated me like I was dumb! Their customer service was amazing, and their prices were very good compared to other shops in the area. Very satisfied customer.

This place tried to rip me off and charged me 10 extra dollars for an oil change. The man that was completing the transaction was extra short with me when I caught him overcharging me. HE was short with ME, when I caught HIM ripping ME off. I showed them my receipt from last oil change and he said that there was an environmental fee of 3.50. What is that? I don't know. I said what about the other 4 dollar charge? what was that for? He wouldn't even give me a proper answer and finally goes, oh we accidentally charged you half a litre more. Also, the guys in the garage were very inappropriate. When he was moving a car from the lot into the garage, he yelled something at me while his friends laughed. I wasn't sure what he said. Horrible service, racist employees, when I told the man at the front counter my name he kept asking me again what it was, when I spelled it out he dropped his pen and didn't even attempt to write it. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN. They might be nice to their white, loyal customers - if you are not white don't even think about getting treated well here!
